I came in on a Saturday morning needing someone to weld in a resonator I purchased into a straight section of my trucks after market exhaust system. I arrived and was immediately greeted and asked what I needed. I explained my situation and in no time, my resonator was getting welded just like I asked and I was on my way out to fix my truck all in about 30 minutes. Awesome service! These guys are great and very well priced! These guys made my day a whole lot easier!

Work was very good quality and was done quick. Price was a little up there but the quality and speed of work was reflected in the price. Did a complex job of modifying a midpipe and made it look easy.

Old garage. Old part of town. No parking. EXCELLENT SERVICE. I didnt give them any notice. I had a REALLY bad muffler. They squeezed me in and did excellent work. Theres a guy on here who said he didnt get greeted. I walked in unnoticed when I picked up, but the young fellow was in the middle of wiring a lighting system. Waited till he was at a stopping point and got his attention. And yes, he did notice a family pull up. I think Ill be ok. A true mom and pop shop. My old mechanic closed on weekends and got finicky about what work he will do. Hes not my mechanic anymore. Thank you guys.

I called bright and early on a Saturday morning to see about some same-day service. Made an appointment for 1:00 and they checked me in about 12:45. Told me it would be close to done by around 3:00 and I was driving out of there @ 3:30. All in all, I was really impressed with their ability to juggle pop-in customers with the normal flow. It was a good experience and good staff!

Its so hard to find a good, honest mechanic and these guys fit the bill. I take my car here whenever I have a problem and find they work extra hard to do the job right while keeping my repairs affordable. There may be other quality shops in Salem, but I wouldnt go anywhere else.

BMS came recommended by many trusted friends for being quality, fairly priced work for custom exhaust. Did an amazing job and made sure to clear the piping around under car components. Came into the shop shortly before lunch time, went across the street for coffee and breakfast, and they were nearly done by the time I wandered back over. If youre like me with a car that has no aftermarket bolt up cat-back exhaust options to buy, this is where you come to get it done right. Bravo!

So, I went to Midas on Lancaster and got a quote on my brakes I was told all 4 need to be done and all new brakes( just got new pads done months ago ) quote$699. Came to BMS and they were completely honest with me. I was told I only needed rototors for the front quote$300. Honesty always wins, Thanks! Come here if you want good HONEST work.

This was my 2nd time here, and Ive confirmed it to myself now: I wouldnt go anywhere else. It is so hard to find a good mechanic, especially one you can trust. We got $2200 of work done for $1300. Thats a very significant savings. Plus we trusted Gerard fully. I have no doubt hes doing the very best for us, and dealing with us with 100% honesty.As long as I live in the Salem area, I will ALWAYS come back to BMS Automotive. This place has my absolute highest recommendation.

If quick service and price is what youre looking for, when it comes to a tire replacement, this is the place. Got two new tires and a leaking tire fixed for $129. Last time I went to Les Schwab, I replaced one tire for $180.

Went to have muffler worked on cause we thought that we needed work done on it but found out it was good. Its not often that you can find honest mechanics but this is one for sure.

My lowriders wheel almost fell off while driving back from another repair I recently had. This was a bad weekend for my car. lucky for me these guys were able to help me out on the same day. This was not anything crazy difficult but what earned them the 5 stars was the pricing and the fact they were a pleasure to work with. Very kind and the guys knew I was in a hurry and were able to accommodate my schedule even though they looked busy. Thanks again amigos!

DO NOT GO HERE I wish I could give no stars at all. They completely screwed up my car. I came in to get an oil leak fixed and they ended up completely messing up my timing belt and all my coolent spilt on when I was driving back from Portland a few days after I got the car back. I broke down on the side of the road and a blew a head gasket because my car over heated. I ended up taking my car back to see what the heck happened and they acted like they did not do anything wrong. They “fixed” the car again after waiting 2 weeks with no loaner car. I drove it to my work, finished my shift, came back out and the check engine light was flashing. At this point I was devastated. I ended up taking it to capital Subaru where they did an inspection and found out they had done everything wrong to my car. The timing belt was horrible, the water pump wasn’t connected to anything, oil everywhere. Just a horrible mess. I paid so much money to get the car fixed a second time. And after confronting BMS about it, they treated my mom and I like trash and told her to get out of there shop. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with my car. I am so anxious to drive now. Every time I get in my car all I can think about was breaking down on the side of the freeway. DO NOT GO HERE. IT WAS HORRIBLE.

If i could leave no stars i would it was the worst experience ever...He didnt call us about our car we had to call him about it. Every time we talked to him there was somthing else wrong ans he had to wait for more parts.what would have took a week took three.. Not all of the parts needed replaced. i am going to school to be a mechanic i knew what was wrong when we took it in he argued with me about parts that didnt need replaced. He wouldnt talk to me then when he did it was somthing sarcastic. i was trying to ask him questions he ignored me and looked at my sister (owner of the car) and said im not talking to you im talking to her. He has no respect for women.

Showed up. Waited in office for 15 minutes. Left. No one said a word to me they whole time despite being less thanks 5 feet away in the shop. While I waiting someone to drove up and were helped instantly.

Garbage services, worst attitude ever when ruining my tire with a unskilled worker doing custom wheels.. wasted my day off, and they had to find another tire for my truck so monday i get more subpar work from this horrible shop.After stating he ruined my weekend, he stated he didnt care.. they put a diffeent size temporary tire on my truck making it until drivable till Monday... stay away
