Customer service was mediocre at best and rude at worst. I had a sceduled appointment and my car was not ready until 3 hours later when I was told an hour. They only started working on it when they noticed I had come back to pick it up. I watched a mechanic damage 2 cars in the process of moving another. The job got done, but its so hard to judge the quality of an oil change so I cant tell you whether or not it was worth it. I guess well find out.Dont listen to the good reviews, go somewhere else if you can help it. I usually try to hit up the smaller guys before moving onto a chain auto shop but these people sadly arent worth the trouble. Support small business that deserve it!

Great service. I asked them if they could do a job on my suv in a day and they went above and beyond to get me in and out. Very experienced and knowledgeable mechanics.

I love this place. They do great work. The people are friendly. Travis always helps me on the phone or in person. Bob is a great owner. Very helpful. Always tells me exactly what is wrong and how much it will cost. All the work they have done on our car has been excellent. I would and do refer everyone to them.

Theyve rebuilt the engines on 2 different cars of mine and other repairs and have always done great work! Theyve even fixed the work Ive done to make it work right. Been going to them for repairs since 1997.

Make sure to get a written estimate. Dont just trust what the owner tells you. Double over verbally told estimate. Its a shame, I always want to work with the small business owners, but trust is important. Wont be going back.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They answered all my questions regarding my vehicle. I went to get an oil change during my lunch, the process was smooth and I was out within 15 minutes. The mechanic answered all my questions about tires, weird noises I was hearing my car make etc. The next day I got an email saying I can manage my service history online!! For a busy professional like me, this was AWESOME! Definitely recommend them.

Had waterpump problem on car and they were recommended by my oil change place. When I got there there wasnt any place to park. I finally got an opening to park in and had to go in as they were too busy to come out. Then they acted like I was a bother and was informed that they wouldnt be able to even look at it until the following Monday. I left and went somewhere else.

Very fair and fast knowledgeable staff. They work with you on diagnosing and are upfront on the price.the only bad review I saw, was mad he didnt have money to get his car, that is HIS fault not the shop.

It was my first time there as I had a promotional coupon for oil change. The place seemed very busy, lots of cars parked outside. I was attended to immediately, by a very efficient crew. Everyone was friendly, delivering great service and providing extra service recommendations for my vehicle at no extra cost. The whole oil change was 20 mins max. During that time, the owner talked to me personally, and openly shared his story. He said the promotional oil changes were a great way to connect with new customers; and with the impression I got, I will definitely remember Advanced Automotive for any future repairs.

I had them replace my timing chains and they did a good job except I now have more check engine codes and have left the car with them twice on my days off and they never looked at the car !!! Left a message and never got a call back...

Love this place and trust what they tell me. Never would I thought I would find a car repair shop I can say that about. Have taken a few cars there, as have my parents, and they are really fantastic.

Lied about vehicle needing tune up (had one week prior), lied about spare tire missing parts (I proceeded to put it in myself), did not listen to my simple instructions and charged $100 for a basic inspection and took 3 days. For these reasons, I will recommend everyone to stay away from this shop.

Went in for an oil change and was in and out in no time. I also asked them to check my suspension as it needs replaced and was given a quote for far less than I thought it would cost. I would recommend them to anyone. The only problem is the address attached to Google maps is incorrect. Its 2530 State St, Salem, OR 9730.

Asked about why car has a hard time starting, took it in and then gave me a price of $ 800.00 to fix car. But to fix something totally different. (thats not broken). Car still doing the same thing. Then when I came to pick it up the guy was very rude.

Been several times for fluid changes. Had a big repair a few months ago...done very well. Recommend.

I live in Portland, but was in Salem to take mom to her Drs appts when I broke down 100yds from this shop. Left mom in the car and ran back to see if they could help me. I explained my situation and they got right on it. Great service, good people. Highly recommend!
