A hidden jem of a store. My wife says I spend too much money there. Store is clean and well stocked. Since they have over runs and end runs, some things when stocked go quickly. I have been relying on their apples until I could harvest apples myself locally. I try to drop by twice a week to check on their lastest. I get to sample new stuff regularly that they dont often carry like Original Silk coconut milk. I could tell you other product names but I want some left for me.

I liked shopping here. Unfortunately, today I was accosted by Adam the security guard because he felt my purse (12.5 x 15) was oversized (this term is subjective as there are no measurements posted on what Wheeler Dealer designates as oversized). He forced me to remove the valuable contents of my purse into my shopping cart and store my purse at the register. Thus, I had to shop with my personal possessions out in the open in my shopping cart. Additionally, Adams communication style is incredibly aggressive and borders on hostile. In hindsight, I wish I would have just left. I wont return again.

Security! Security! I hope John and Bob are reading this. Your Security man made me feel like he wanted to beat me up! Just because I use a mini backpack for a purse.Sorry about your problems...but paying customers dont want to be pegged as a thief. Wont be back.

Love the random off the cuff brands and pricing. Produce is often not good and the store feels dirty. But always go there for rugs, candy, and soda

Worse customer service ever! No management experience, and very very nasty attitude by the manager, who said that she wasnt management, then turns out that she is the manager. Need to hire someone who has customer service and doesnt lie about their position!

Great prices with a wide variety of of products from fresh produce to gardening tools. They accept EBT.

I encourage one to think of this place as a different version of Dollar General or a Dollar Tree. That is to say that though not everything is a dollar, though often one can find candy three for one dollar, this place has a constantly changing selection such as a dollar store.Thus I a encourage those who have the ability to do so to check this place for good, and great, deals. Keep in mind that most good items are very close to the sell by date.

The cashier named barb yelled at a 6 year old child for not grabbing all 5 for 1$ bag of chips. Who does that?

Two employees could not help me. Third walked by me when I asked for help. Clerk could not tell me if they had sauerkraut. I left.

A very big selection which is available for some very good prices. So dig out those coin jars and perhaps you will be able to find what it is that youre looking for at the Wheeler Dealer on Market Street in Salem, Oregon

Great deals friendly staff nice and relatively clean

Can find some great deals here on general goods but I avoid the produce. Got some great hats for only $2ea. Not quite as nice or clean as the Albany location and the staff are sometimes friendly and sometimes not. Regardless I will be back in the future.

Great place to go for low prices on various items. They carry a very wide variety of things you wouldnt expect to find. Tools, grocery items, frozen food dairy and produce items that they get at discounted prices and they pass it on. Always have specials going on and you can get discounts on line as well.

Wheeler Dealer has a moderate amount of items- (maybe 1/2 the size of The Gross Out) but youd be wise to ✔ the expiration dates! I got a huge bag of Yucky Charms for only $2.99 & organic Brown Eggs for 99 cents! (Bought 6 dozen & gave 4 to Family) You really can save alot of $ here! Am still kinda kickin myself for not buying a 25 lb bag of mulch- for $5.99 plus there 25 lbs of Potting soil for $5.99 also.

Great store for bargains on tons of merchandise. Fresh produce (especially summer months), canned goods and dry packaged foods, clothing (got excellent deal on quality bright yellow heavy duty rain jacket), frozen section, and general (...omg, Honey, we just ran out out of...) household items. The staff is always friendly and helpful, store well organized. One of the best quality discount stores in Salem.

Always awesome! There are unique things as well as pretty standard items. A manager explained that some items they keep on hand so they may be average grocery price or a great deal, depending if they paid wholesale or less. Staff are all charming and helpful!

Need more checkers. Theres only one checker every time I go and a line.

Good deals and lots of selection. The reason I give it three stars is because every employee who I’ve ever come in contact with at the store seems very upset and not happy to be at work. They are not very courteous more helpful

Nice accomodating staff, wonderful prices.

Quick nearby discount store. I like the Christian music they play. Cold drinks. Fresh fruit. Sometimes their freezer items can be past expiration date, we have had mixed results. Otherwise a nice store. Kind of a mini-big lots. They cater better to landscape supplies and have a wide range of Corona pruners and other brands. Their tool selection, although small is similar to harbor freight. They have locked cases for higher quality merchandise and some airsoft, knives & tools. Thankful they decided to change from Savon to Wheeler dealer.

What a shame this place has had to go SO far downhill! When it opened they had GREAT prices on food and they still do on paint supplies. though on any given day if you comparison shop as I do you can do the same or better at WINCO or Grocery Outlet. A employee told me recently Wheeler Dealer plans to go High end good luck with that! A good amount of the produce is often literally rotten and BARELY marked down to boot as well as tons of other overly expensive out dated food. I have bought a million cans of coconut milk and NEVER have I opened ( and thus poured into my dinner ruining it) a can of spoiled coconut milk (also more expensive than need be ), In addition believe it or not ALL your customers dont want to have your Christian music shoved down their throats. The great employees who used to advocate for customers now all seem to be gone replaced by folks who kiss up to management - Awful place.

Good prices on somethings, most things are over priced. Almost every food item is past due date or gone bad, but it can be a gold mine if you compare other store prices

When you are a part timer on minimum wage whose going to school, this place really saves your butt! Not only do they have a large selection that is always changing, they provide many options for my vegan lifestyle. Love them!

Near store with good customer service

Just like many slightly seedy discount stores that buy one offs, freight damage, discontinued, etc. Visit it frequently and you can occasionally find cool stuff at an awesome price. Buyer beware but thats half the fun.

I had been a customer of Wheeler dealer for a long time, when they said they were opening a store in Salem I was excited,at first they had a great staff and ecellent prices,as time has progressed the quality of the produce has been horrible and the prices have skyrocketed,the management team at the store has become rude and unwilling to listen to the customer, to the point that I was accoused of theft .....to that end I will never shop there again, I will take my business to Fred Meyers where the produce is fresh and the management cares

Lots of out dated food, produce shelves are very dirty and vegetables often muddy, prices deceptively high, constantly understaffed so no one has time to help customers.

Sometimes I find a bargain or something weird.

I am skeptical that you could, yet intrigued that you may.

Went to use the restroom and a couple of employees were shooting up drugs
