Decent selection of quality tools including some specialty items but everything is extremely overpriced. Only go here if you need something specific but make sure you are willing to pay for it.

I’ve been to this store a few times and am very happy with the selection of products and the assistance from the staff members. I recently ordered a jointer and the process was nothing but professional and transparent. The associates answered all of my questions on set up, dust collection and safety and made some great recommendations for my shop. This is a place that makes me feel comfortable asking questions about choosing the right tools, setup, sharpening, maintenance and equipment upgrades. Rockier is a top tier woodworking shop.

Very nice store for woodworking enthusiasts, DIY guys, hobbyists and professionals. I guess everyone will can find something useful, like power tools, table saws, various accessories, dust collection systems, domestic and exotic woods... I personally found here a good deal on bessey clamps.

I just love to go there, I usually travel all the way from Cape Cod to buy my tools from them, is always a great experience, thank you very much Rockler Salem NH.

Sorry, I gave a 5 star rating, but I didnt have time to write a review.Ive been going to Rockler for quite some time. Ive always been very happy with the staff and their knowledge of what they have in the store. I recently purchased a new lathe and needed a chuck and some other accessories. The young man who helped me was very well versed in the equipment. He asked a few questions about what I needed, and what I was making. He made a lot of suggestions and steered me towards what he thought would work best for me. You could tell he was more concerned about me spending money on what was best for me instead just trying to make a sale on something expensive. I was AGAIN very impressed with the way Rockler staff treat their customers. Thank you for taking the time to make me feel wanted and welcomed.Dave

Making a very good try at a niche market. I would say this store is not just great for serious hobbyist or professional shoppers, but also for people who occasionally tinker or are willing to learn new skills. This store has very large collections of hand tools, table saws, pen lots, unique building materials, and power tools. Take a look at the classes scheduled at the store entrance, too. I met two store associates while shopping here, and both we friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, for any projects you dont want made of pine. Also a good place for gifts, imo.

Arrogant and unhelpful. I used to love coming here but realized the people walking around to help are not only unhelpful, but arrogant as heck. I long ago switched to Woodcraft and have good experiences. I came back today, as forced by a precvious rockler brand purchase, and yet again met the worst experience. I know some there are better, and maybe it is just this specific store, but I will not come back by choice.

I love the fact that there is a Rockler dealer close to home. If you are looking to take woodworking to the next level, then this is the place to shop. The Rockler team has developed several different tools and jigs to make more difficult tasks simpler. They also offer lots of project kits if you are looking for something different to do. As others have stated, the staff is knowledgeable and are always willing to help you find what you need.

This store has a great selection of hand and power tools, dust collection components, hardware, and exotic woods you wont find in your local hardware or big box store. I drove two hours from western Massachusetts to get here, but Im not sure I would return mostly because of the vibe my wife and I got from the employees. They were not very friendly, never asked if they could help us find anything, and we both noticed that we were being followed around and watched closely. The lack of a welcoming attitude combined with the omnipresent hovering employees made for a rather uncomfortable shopping experience, and I left without buying anything. You honestly can find most of this stuff cheaper online anyway.

This seems like the type of place that caters to experienced carpenters. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store was well stocked with everything you might need to complete a project.

After decades of studying the catalog and dreaming of tools, I finally visited. I was surprised by the size of the store, seemingly small, but I have nothing to compare from other Rockler stores. One salesperson I found rude and I thought perhaps I was at a Cadillac dealership. The prices were as expected and I got some ideas for the future. If nothing else it was fun to visit, but I wont go out of my way to drive another hour and a half. Ill stay local and support my towns.

Rockler Woodworking a new store at Village Shoppes at Salem, a great addition to the mix of stores there. Looking forward to he DIY workshops!

Its a great store if youre into wood working. They have a great selection of hardware and tools, and everyone is helpful but very chill.

If your looking for high end woodworking tools and supplies ask Roy, he knows his stuff.
