I’ve been standing here for 15 minutes with zero attempt to process my 15 second return. When you don’t proactively ask customers to see if you can take care of one without taking away from another, you’ve already failed. I gave two stars to be nice in the face of of a zero star experience.
UPS delivered several Amazon packages today. I did not hear the doorbell ring, probably because I was in the shower. I have not contact delivery because I am handicapped and may not be able to get to the door easily or quickly. This evening I was going to take some trash out, and I use crutches to get around. I only have one door in my apartment. The UPS driver left 5 packages directly in front of my door on the step. As my screen door opens out, I am effectively blocked from bringing my packages inside...but, more importantly, I am unable to exit my apartment. If there were a fire, I would not be able to get out. This is a major safety issue for me....or for anyone., for that matter. Amazon, after I contacted them said they could do nothing to help me because UPS did most of the delivery...not Amazon, even though they delivered part of the packages. So, I am stuck inside my apartment until I can contact UPS tomorrow as they are closed for the day now.Now, what kind of delivery person would be stupid enough to leave packages directly in front of a door?? I hope my packages dont get stolen tonight and that I dont have anemergency like I had last week.
Nonchalantly lost $30k ...who cares right....I went to them to mail off $30,000 in checks. I asked for their guidance on best route to ship with tracking. Was offered an unidentified $40 per envelope option or a $5 per envelope option i chose the more reasonable $5 option. The associate appeared to be inconvienced and annoyed because this meant she had to type in each of the addresses and process individually. I let it roll, and just noted in my mind I wouldnt return to this location. No sense in returning her bad attitude towards her... well then I check the tracking on the day they were supposed to be delivered and tracking showed it never left the store. Called the store and was told it wasnt their problem, call USPS. I tried calling USPS but because it was showing as it hadnt been picked up from the store they couldnt help me. Called the store back and they refused to help, it wasnt their problem... after days and days of fighting this issue I finally asked my normal mail carrier about this situation. She said she knew what was going on because the lady at the store put the labels on wrong. Turns out my mail carrier knew these envelopes were supposed to be going to the creditors, not us, so she kept trying to reroute the envelopes to the correct places but the way the label was struck to the envelopes the To address was on the BACK of the envelope so USPS was sending them to the address on the FRONT of the envelope like mail typically works...which was our return address. This store caused so much trouble, frustation, and stress, and made it very clear they didnt care and refused to help in any way or even look around. Absolutely rude from beginning to end!
This was my first experience utilizing a P.O. Box. I chose to use the UPS store as opposed to the USPS option. Mostly due to their ability to be listed as a residential address which is pretty key in a one woman owned small, home based business. That being said, the folks are legitimately some of the hardest working, helpful and kind employees. I watched them all handle this recent turn of events and times of economic turmoil with nothing but professionalism and quality customer service. I wish I could remember all their names but Miss Vanessa (hope I didnt butcher the spelling) is absolutely wonderful, efficient, and ALWAYS has a great attitude. This is at the 3760 Market St NE location in Salem Oregon and I highly recommend it.

I go to this UPS store often as I live super close to it and I also used to be a LLR consultant constantly shipping out merchandise. I have always had a great experience with them. They are very helpful, kind and quick and efficient with everything from shipping, returns to Amazon, notary, etc. Thank you so much to all the awesome employees who work at this location! You make my life so much easier because you’re always on top of your A game!
Ashlee at this UPS store is wonderful. She was delightful to work with and very accommodating. She came and picked up several boxes of my Mothers belongings that she repackaged that night for mailing the next day. I am very thankful, and very grateful, to Ashlee and the UPS store. Thank you!!
I and wife moved to Salem about a year ago. Since we live closer to Lancaster we have used the UPS Store several time for shipping, returning, notary and doing some print work. Even in the mist of Covid-19 we were there for business. Staffs are knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Since Salem is now our home we have made the UPS store our first pick for our mailing, notarizeing, and printing needs.
Service is not good if you need a notary.....1) UPD has where you can schedule an appointment (sounds good right?), 2) so I schedule an appointment, 3) show up a little early and no one is in line, no customers, and Im told they cant help with notarized documents until my scheduled time and to come back, ok 4) came back at scheduled time and 5 people in line and the appointment DOESNT MEAN ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY PROCEEDED TO WORK THROUGH ALL WAITING CUSTOMERs.....REALLY, WHY SET UP APPOINTMENTS ANYWAY UPS???ALSO, if the store is this busy they should have more than 1 person working.....I dont recommend using this store for a notary!!! I gave up waiting and went to another notary where I DIDNT HAVE TO WAIT...

We had a issue with a package that went sent, unfortunately we didn’t get the tracking number from the pre-printed label before we sent it at the store. Only to find out we were scammed on the package we were mailing through Macari . Our account was hacked and we couldn’t get any information from it. A hard lesson to learn 😔....but I want to say I called and Ashley the manager did everything she could to help us try to locate a tracking number to have the package rerouted back to us. she spent an hour on the phone with me looking through every website timeslots videos from the store security cameras to find out when our package was mailed only to find out that it was through USPS and there was not much more she could do. I just wanna give her a shout out for outstanding customer service she went above and beyond!!!! Thank you for all the time spent trying to help us Ashley 🙏🏻. I can’t remember when the last time we actually had customer service like this. 💗

The woman working in the store today came out of the back after my GF had already paid for her prints with another representative of your company. And basically accused her of trying to steal the papers she had already paid for. She is very lucky I wasnt there for it. Im a local business owner and am disgusted by this behavior. Get your staff in line!
If I could give no stars I would. Do not ship from this store. They lost my package because they never put the shipping label on my package. When the finally realized and found my package the tore it open to make sure it was right package retaped it and shipped it. My package arrived late and damaged. A waste of $50 and was given the run around when asked about a refund and was told they filed a claim on my behalf and when contacting UPS directly there never was a claim....so beware very incompetent staff and inexperienced
Change the store hours listed for Sunday. Ive gone twice now on a Sunday. Online it is listed that this store is open 10AM-3PM, and it still states that on the sign on the door, yet it is always locked up. The sign even says OPEN, but it isnt. Please change this confusing information. There were several other customers outside the door when I arrived who were confused by the misinformation as well.
I will always go out of my way to use this UPS location. Ease of shipping, always prompt service with a smile. And after a crazy day where I realized I needed to intercept a package I had dropped off that morning, everyone was extremely helpful and made sure I got my package and money back ASAP. So impressed!

I had to go to the UPS store near my home the post office wouldnt mail my return. There was a line outside six people or more. One person attending the counter it was early before lunch freezing out. A man behind me was at least 80 with an oxygen tank and Im 70 years old and had cataract surgery 2 days ago. could barely keep my eyes open but the package I had was time sensitive my father-in-law had passed away from covid so I do take this very, seriously, I was wearing a mask I went inside after 15 minutes even though there were two people together at counter a young man approached and told me I had to get out because there was only two customers allowed at one time.His approach was unprofessional and rude I refuse to go outside I felt safe mask my problem with this was not following guidelines. It was the fact that they had at least four other employees milling around one young lady putting things away and staying busy another man young man was swapped places at the register was carrying around empty boxes and acting like he was in a hurry but nothing seemed urgent from my perspective several women in the back talking and laughing. The customers dont know whats happening back there the customers dont know why theres no help at the counter the customers dont understand why its taking 15 or 20 minutes when you have extra employees there are they not clocked in do they have a job that is so urgent that they cant come out and help the customers probably not and when I called to speak to the young assistant manager her voice became so loud and so defensive it was so unprofessional and she was basically yelling into the phone at me.I did not approach her that way. I said I have an complaint I would like to share with you I was not rude what upset me was the treatment of their customers using an excuse of covid for their bad behavior bad customer service and unprofessional treatment.
Ive been in the store about four times in the past couple months and every time the person helping me is either not wearing a mask or wearing it under their chin. Today I got to hear about how the girl is quitting her job because she doesnt want to wear them. So I guess before her two weeks are up shes going to expose everybody who comes in, lovely. If your front counter person doesnt want to wear a mask, please replace them with somebody who does. This looks very bad for your business when they arent following the rules.

Illegally marks mail as undeliverable.. especially election mail. Always a long line just to check my mail box due to being chronically understaffed. Management and the owner have zero customer service skills.
This place is a scam!! They are charging so much money for delivery express international say that will arrive the next day,2 to 3 days later package has not arrived,call the office and the employees are saying that they don’t know what happen 🤬talk to the manager and only said that the service is only for the arrival to the country not to the address that there’s nothing She can do... that the employees should’ve said that at the beginning. Really!! Meanwhile you just pay 112dlls wen you could just pay 30 dlls to arrive the same day this is BS

I wanted to move to Oregon but i needed to establish a mailbox and this store was willing to send out the necessary paperwork to help me while i was still in California. Which over all helped made the transition that much easier. Even though my time in Oregon was only a few months, this store was knowledgable and patient with my questions and concerns. Thank you!
This is the second time the driver has left the package in the driveway. Not even under the carport. I have easy access to front and back doors. I get packages about twice a month and the drivers usually have no problems. Not to happy with this driver, whoever he is.

The new management is awesome. I closed my account a year ago and found out I still had mail being delivered to my PO Box.I talked with the new manager today and she was great. I was able to get my mail forwarded and finalize my account with no problems.Thanks you guys.

I ran in right before closing to drop off some Amazon returns. The employee was on the phone when I walked in and it sounded like the customer was pretty frustrated about something to do with his delivery. The employee kept her cool very well and even helped me during a couple points of the phone call. She was super apologetic after she got off the phone, and she got everything done right away. She really kept her cool and handled the whole situation very professionally with customer service in mind. Thank you for the good customer service at the end if your hectic day!! :)
Great improvement in customer service! I have mail forwarding weekly out of State, and the folks at UPS Store have been fantastic. We had issues when ownership changed hands over a year ago, but things have been great since the transition completed.

This is the 2nd time I’ve has a terrible experience at this UPS. Their employees are not well trained at all, they don’t even have basic knowledge of the companies services. I was told to come back another day when the manager is there because an employee didn’t know how to require a signature for the package delivery. I have sent out many packages like this and never had an issue unless it’s at this UPS. I would highly recommend the UPS on Commercial Street, much better service and way more knowledgeable.
Very poor customer service, no eye contact rushed me through, and I questioned later whether my card would even get where it was going.Eight days later the party across the country has not received my card and I was told today when I called this UPS that it takes eight days at least; had I known this I would never mail a greeting card at UPS.I would take it to the post office.A package evidently goes faster than a card.Our UPS in the town we live is so friendly, so this particular UPS caught me unaware.In arrears, I should have insured the card because it contained gift cards. So I have no record, and I really fear that it is lost,

The experience I had at this particular store was abysmal. Every other store has been great, where Im in and out in no time. This place had only one person working the entire store during rush hour, so there was a line going out the door. When I finally did get to the front of the line the person turned away my amazon return even though I had it exactly how Amazon wanted me to bring it to UPS. I have never had an issue before with an Amazon return. So now I have to make a special trip to a different store for no reason.

I cannot recommend this store since the new owner came in. The staff really try, but they actually make things difficult, and they even take a long time just to find my package. It is a tiny store and boxes get stacked up everywhere. There are frequently long lines and sometimes only one staff person working.
Had difficulties getting a delivery to our office. Heads up, apparently whether or not to leave a delivery attempted notice on the door is completely discretionary.I called to find out if there was anything they could do on their side so I could get a notice like maybe a note put on the delivery address in their system and after talking to the guy for a bit - him asking me questions and eventually not listening to the answer because he was talking to his manager - I got a theres nothing we can do. Sorry about that. Have a good day and hung up.I am frustrated because we needed that package and I was trying to find out some way somewhere for this to be remedied in the future. He kept trying to get me to call a 1-800 number I had already called, and telling me to call them again to get the package returned and a new delivery attempt made....which would have had the same problems. If he had been listening to what I was saying he would have known that.I get that dealing with frustrated customers is no fun. And if you dont feel up to handling me, pass the phone to your manager who apparently was right there. I wanted to feel heard and actually talk about some options - on their side or mine. That didnt happen and I am MORE frustrated now than I was before.If it was up to me I would not use UPS for my business needs.
This store is a joke. I wasnt going to be home to sign for my UPS package so I changed delivery to this store from UPS My Choice. I thought this was a fantastic thing...I got notification the day it was delivered at 9:15am. I showed up that afternoon at 4:45pm to pick up the package. Two employees took 15 minutes looking and couldnt find the package. He told me it wasnt there and I needed to call UPS. He wouldnt even look it up on his computer. I left and called UPS and they told me that Colton at that location did sign for it and it was there. I went back the next day to try again...only to find out they refused the delivery and put it back on the truck. Ridiculous to offer this UPS My Choice (in)convenience only to sign and refuse a delivery. Now its 2 days later and I have no idea where my package is. All day long the tracking center has said it is out for delivery. 8:28pm now and it is still out for delivery.

This store took my package and my money but never shipped it. I give up on these stores. I used to have good experiences with UPS stores. When I asked about my package I was treated with disdain and disrespect. I later found out it was actually some kind of manager that I talked to.
Very friendly and helpful staff. I always forget my packaging tape and the staff always help tape my boxes for me and put my label on.

Worst customer service EVER! Paid next day shipping, package sat at the store for 2 days, then delivery finally arrived 5 days later, damaged. Immediately filed a claim on the delivery date. UPS claims said they would contact the store with claim paperwork. Employees says they never got it. Again I spent over 1 hour on hold and being transferred to claims Again, repeatedly told claim paperwork was faxed and emailed to this location.It has now been 5 1/2 weeks and Ive yet to see my refund (134.00 in shipping plus $100.00 in damaged goods). Manager claims he gives my messages to the owner, but I never get a return call. Still no refund. Terrible business practices and poor customer service.

Zero stars if possible. I walked in and asked for a box to purchase so I could ship my package. I waited for 3 minutes while the person working there talked on the phone. He hung up and I asked again. After purchasing my $6.88 box he gave me a receipt for the box. When I asked for a receipt with tracking he said “fine” and printed it off, handed it to me and said “there”. When reading this it may seem nit picky, however, the tone and clear lack of caring about his job was very frustrating. 2 thumbs down on the customer service at this store! The 2 guys working here, early 20’s looked like they should be working at a pot dispensary. Get it together UPS!
They do not have a notary but you can make an appointment & waste your time by showing up. Supposedly they called to tell me but mysteriously enough no one left a voicemail.
They lost my package that I dropped off, it was said to never be scanned in for drop off. Only one package made it through and I ended up with two up the same tracking numbers of the one delivered instead of the actual other I brought in that day. The Manager doesn’t seem to care about resolving it.
