A good selection of appliances at all different price ranges. Was looking for an older washer without the sensors that will allow the tub to fill all the way up with water. Found a set at a really good price with a warranty. Will update the review in a couple months with how well the set works out

Prices are very affordable 100% recommend. I bought my fridge and washer from them and never had any issues. Love the 1 year warranty. Recently my sister needed a set of washer/dryer and was told at another business warranty was only 3 months and starting prices were 700..I stopped ✋ at A&S and they offered me a great deal on a set and it was a late purchase and they also made sure my sister got her delivery the same day . She was so happy 🙂they were so accommodating to getting them that same day . As she moved in to her new home and had lots of laundry to do. They have been working great too.

I walked in to the showroom and browsed an enormous selection of great quality appliances. I found a washer dryer set that still had the blue protective film on it and they even delivered to my upstairs apartment for CHEAP!! So glad I remembered driving past this place. It’s also centrally located so it’s easy to get to from anywhere. Would definitely recommend to family.

The service was great. We bought a stand up freezer and had issues with it a few weeks after purchase. They fixed it without any hassle or questions. The refrigerator we bought has been working great. The prices were also great. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone I know that is looking for used or scratched/dented appliances.

Since I make it a point to always shop local I decided to give this small business a try. I needed a washer and dryer and decided on used to try saving some money. I will need this set for the next 14 months. The service was friendly and very helpful. All my questions were answered and it was a good experience. The washer and dryer set will be delivered on Monday. I will post an update to this review then and I will post a follow up 6 months after.Update 09/07/2021- As of right now I am very happy with my purchase. The washer and dryer were delivered quickly. Everything was installed and tested to ame they worked. My washer and dryer are still working every day. I will post an update in three months to let you all know how everything is working. I like that this business speaks both Spanish and English. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable for used equipment and the equipment they sell works. I highly recommend them based on my positive experience at ever step.

I ordered a refrigerator from the supplier. It arrived and would only cool between 47 and 55 degrees. I called the shop, and they promised to “make things right”.Two shelves were completely missing, one shelf in the freezer was destroyed, and two drawers in the regular cooling compartment were missing and damaged.The respondent asked for photographs, which I gladly sent. She stated that everything was together and in working order the day before.In the following days, a man showed up in a pickup with a refrigerator with apparent rust damage all around the bottom as a replacement.He said he would select another one, and bring it here as a replacement. He left, and was obviously upset because I didn’t like the rusted replacement.No ill words were spoken, unless he was cussing me in Spanish. I never did hear back. Coming from a guy in his late thirties making comfortable income, don’t waste your dollars here.

I recently bought a refrigerator 3 days later it wasnt working right, we contacted them they couldnt get anyone to go see the fridge till a week out. The 1 year warranty didnt do anything to help fix the problem. Do not waste money here it stops working after a couple of days and they wont be able to fix things!

Very bed experience after I bought a Maytag washer and dryer. It was delivered the same day on 7/12/21. I called 2 days later due to the dryer not drying 100% I had to put the cycle again. Some one came the next day and view it but did not stay for the full cycle to finish drying and said it was working fine. About 4 dats later the dryer started to make a loud screeching sound while drying the clothes. I called A&S on Friday and was told someone will call to arrange app with a tech, instead Érica called to say that on Wednesday (5days later) the tech will come. No one came, I called 4 times on Wednesday and 2 times I was told someone will call me back and 1 time I left a voice message.After a sale is complete they no longer care for the customer. Very bad business practice

I am very disappointed with this company. I was referred by my home warranty . My stove oven and top caught fire, the fire department came because my oven is electrical and it was a scary experience. The tech said it was a burnt out burner in the top and order parts. The oven he said there is no problem, I did not feel safe since after he told me it was good to use it, I had a second fire. Never the least I contacted my home warranty and its been a mess because they do not have a manager call me, and they receptionist or scheduler has attitude. At one time she hung up on me. I am not one to post negative reviews because Im a professional. However, they never answer, and who ever calls back is very un professional when we as a customer are frustrated with the situation. As a business owner personal needs to learn to handle conflict better.

These guys did an amazing job!👍 I was very skeptical to take my stove to get fixed anywhere because I didnt know who to trust or how much it would cost to fix, but as soon as I walked into this place Samantha greeted me with a beautiful smile and a very friendly frame of mind. I felt very much at ease talking with her. I dropped off my stove on May 14 and Mathew amazingly fixed it on the very same day. So I picked it up on May 15 and I was definitely a happy camper. The total of the cost to repair my oven was only $135 which I was very happy to pay because I didnt want to part with this stove and I definetly did not want to pay alot more for a new one or even a used one for that matter. I made a earlier review aboutA&S appliance. I made a reference to calling the company thieves. I was able to work with Alessa who was very helpful in finding me a good working refrigerator. So., I would like to apologize for that statement. I did however have a difficult time with customer service in reference to keeping me informed about delivery times which was very frustrating. The first delivery was setup for Wednesday. No one showed and when I tried calling no one answered the phone. Then I setup the delivery the following day and the refrigerator was installed late afternoon. The next morning I noticed it was not cooling. I called A&S again and again phone just rang? I had to call the Bandera location to try find help. I was later informed that they would have a tech stop at my house. Again no one showed? So..thats the frustration. However all the employees are very nice and helpful. So thank you again Alessa my new refrigerator is being delivered today.

Me and my husband bought a fridge on April 3rd, 2021, by May 11th we were already having problems with this fridge. The fridge part was keeping cool but wasnt cool enough and the freezer completely went out. They promise to make things right and replace the fridge since we had just bought it and were having problems already. A couple days after they came by to take a look at the fridge they brought a new one to replace the one that had messed up. Well here we are again with the same issues. Dont waist your money with this place, thats $1,299 we spent to buy the fridge down the drain and $55 for a service call that the guy didnt even do anything just look at it and tell me oh youre going to need to replace it. Which we did get the replacement however that replacement is having the same issues as the one we spent the money on. One of the ladies in the office is not very helpful shes rude, my husband will not talk to her. All in all dont waist your time or money.

I have had two completely different experiences with this business:1) I bought a washer and dryer set for $300 in the spring of 2017. They are still working well, to date.2) I bought a refrigerator for $350 in late February of 2020 that began to give me problems in mid January of 2021. I called for service and then was strung along for several weeks passed the year warranty. Since then, I was given another refrigerator that also doesnt work and had to have it serviced. Next, I was promised another replacement that never arrived.I will not be a returning customer after this last experience. Best of luck to you if you give them a try.Update: after showing the owner of A&S my receipt, they brought me another refrigerator. Still leaving a three star review due to customer service from the staff who were obstinate and did not keep up with my case.

Extremely extremely disappointed. Ive never rated anything as low as this but they gave me no choice. They delivered dryer without lint filter so practically I cannot use the device at all. I called them back and reported the error immediately, and since then had been following up myself but all they answer on call is we will call you for an update. Its been more than 10 days and still counting.. Im still waiting for an update, the part, or even the functioninal device. The so called 1 yr warranty is just a gimmick.. complete waste of money, time, trust. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Washer lasted a little over a year, their service guy said we needed a new one and they did not offer any kind of discount to purchase with them again, would not recommend. I should have bought a new one with better warranty. Girl on the phone was no help either bad customer service.

We bought a washing machine and it worked great....for a couple of weeks. Started out, the lid lock malfunctioned and wouldnt lock. With having a warranty, we gave them a call. They came out and eventually replaced the lid lock. Its still not fixed. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. Quite frequently I have to unplug it so it will reset itself. Also, it has started leaking water inside the machine. We have called multiple times. And its still not repaired. They have set appointments and not showed more times than I care to admit. The last thing we were told was they were going to just replace it. What a surprise, they were a no show. Never again will I try to save money by buying anything from this company. I will gladly purchase brand new, with a warranty from a reputable company. I do not recommend this company.

Also included a warranty!My dryer stopped heating up about 2 months after buying it, but because it was within the 60 day warranty (free parts AND labor within 60 days) I made a phone call and a repair man came by to fix the dryer for free.Would highly recommend A & S Appliance!!

Affordable for a used appliance. But no people skills/customer service. No prices on the appliances and when you ask, they throw a price out there. Same info as someone had rated two years. 1 year warranty, but 60 days on parts and 1 year labor.

Bought a gas stove and they gave it to me with the wrong burner caps. Not helpful at all with fixing my problem even though i have a 1 year warranty. 3 months after i bought the thing I can either buy the right ones on my own for $200 or burn my house down.

Very disappointed with this place. Expect a great price and awful service. We did purchase a washer and dryer set for a good deal, but when they were delivered the delivery man noticed the washer barrel wasn’t spinning. We called the office and as per the warrantee they were happy to send someone out the following Monday (we were a little disappointed that was the best we could get but we understood they were already busy) the guy came and fixed the dryer. I got ready to start a load when I realized the filter was gone. They informed us in store that they remove things like vents and filters to prevent them from being stolen. I assumed they had taken it out and forgotten to put it back in. Now two weeks later I still have no dryer filter and have had to call every day last week trying to get this taken care of. I’ve been told so many things I have no idea what the actual problem was. I’ve been told on three different days that they were out delivering it and that I could expect it before end of day. I’ve been told the guy was out of town, I’ve been told they had it, that they were going to order it. I’ve been told I would be called back over and over again and NEVER was. At this point I’ve given up. Absolutely never going to use these guys again and wouldn’t recommend them. You might get a good deal, but be ready for a headache because they’re terrible to work with.

Honestly if I could give a zero star review I would.McDonalds ice cream machine is more dependablethan this business.Bought a refrigerator, washer & dryer back in June. Fridge stopped cooling early July. Sent it back to get fixed. Told me if would take two weeks. Waited two weeks and then called and they told me they didnt know where it was. Proceeded to call over the next 3-4 weeks then got the same answer. Mid August they finally told me that accidentally threw it away but there was never any communication. They never called me and I had to call every Wednesday because apparently thats where there tech guy would come in. They told to me pick out a new one and they would deliver it in a few days so I did, and if course that one was broken so they didnt deliver it the day that they said they were and told me they would call me in two weeks after it was fixed. I waited 3 weeks to call them back to give them a chance to keep their word but of course that didnt happen so I called and asked what was going on and they said that apparently it was still broke and had never gotten fixed so I asked if I could just get a fridge that worked and they agreed so I went and picked out a fridge and basically asked for an upgrade because it had been 3 months since we had communication or a fridge and the lady told me she could do that and she would lose money in that deal. I responded by saying Ive lost the most in the past 3 months.Yall have my money, and I dont have a fridge. The whole time she was laughing and smiling like it was a joke so it was cool to see the lack of maturity of the employees. The only lady that Ive had good interactions with is the the lady that sits right by the entrance.So all that to say that we finally got a fridge. And our washer has been making a grinding noise for the last month but I didnt want to take advantage of the warranty because of the fear of never seeing it again.Dont shop here. Youre wasting your time. This is the worst business I have ever bought from.

They have such a large selection of products, and quite honestly at some of the best prices in the city; it even comes with a one-year warranty. The store has a fan blowing to keep guests comfortable, and even a vending machine for refreshments while you shop.Although I initially had some issues with the fridge I purchased from A&S, I will say that they were quick in their response to resolve the issue. The technician called ahead, arrived on time, was professional and courteous, and very knowledgable about my particular model.In retrospect, A&S Appliance seems to be a pretty reputable company when it comes down to it - and I am confident that if you dont mind a purchasing a gently used appliance, you will be satisfied with both the quality of the product and the customer service provided both before and after the transaction. At least this company stands by their products and workmanship, which is unfortunately getting harder to say in todays market. Support local business, give them a visit, and save some money.

Paid $45 for a repair person to come out and tell me my washer wasnt worth fixing... Conveniently I get a credit if I purchase one from them. Fine. I purchase a washer and within DAYS of the warranty expiring, it started leaking oil and they expect me to pay for the repairs. I wouldnt pay them to fix amything or purchase anything from them. Clearly they have a system of selling amd constantly repairing their own machines. Shady business practices. Zero stars, would not recommend.

We had gotten a new used stove from the owners that we rent a house from. I guess it was cheaper for them which we were fine with but the oven portion wasnt working right we tried a couple more times before we called the owners to let them know. They told us someone from A&s appliance was gonna come friday and look at it. No one came so we were rescheduled for Monday 10-11:30am I call after 11:30 to see if someone was still coming and I never got a call back and then I called them again the same day then they tell me its for Tuesday not Monday because something happened with the tech. And that one store didnt communicate with the other and didnt tell anyone that we were rescheduled. I asked what happens if we cant make the scheduled time because we work she said wed have to reschedule. Which unacceptable and really inconvenient especially since they cant give you a time frame before hand its only on the day of. So eventually the owners got something worked out for Tuesday when we get out of work. The tech guy finally comes and says that the stove needs a part and should be her Wednesday or Thursday. I call on Friday and they said that the tech hasnt gotten a chance to see if the part is in stock because hes been getting off late. Mind you they only have one technician for two stores. And if the part is not in stock it takes 3-8 weeks to receive it because of covid. So I asked if thats the case can we get another stove she told me she didnt know wed have to call the store we purchased it from. Which it was but shes just in charge of the scheduling and would have to talk to a sales rep. She didnt offer to transfer us to a sales rep so shes useless and doesnt know anything. And doesnt know how to schedule or have great customer service skills after I hung up she called back 3 more times and from what it looks like in these reviews they just like to argue with their customers. BTW they were supposed to replace the oven today and still nothing. Dont waste your time especially if you have anything but a fridge and washer from them because they prioritize those first before anything else.

Bought a Kenmore dryer and had to replace broken feet(legs)-they were bent broken and stuck. Finally after hooking gas and duct up; go to test it and code F40 keeps displaying and dryer shuts off. Just bought it 2 hours ago! Going to call them now, I hope remedy is handled properly. Our first time buying here. Well, took dryer back. They started working on it...an hour and 10 minutes(we were not told they were going to work on it, could have told us to leave it and come back later) when we saw that they were putting it back together we asked for them to test it before we took it. Well problem still exists, they say they dont have the exact part to fix it. At this point Im starting to think why the dryer didnt work at least one day which means it wasnt even tested before it was put in the sales area and if they cant figure out the problem and dont have parts then this place shouldnt be open for business. We immediately asked for a refund when we saw the dryer in pieces in the back room; and we were told they normally dont give refunds and they were about to argue I had to walk away. We paid cash less than 3 hours prior and the lady (owner) asked for a credit/debit card to put money back into. She didnt even remember how fast she took our cash, and we had to demand our cash back. I would not recommend this place, a business should not operate like this. Warranty or no warranty a product should be ready to use and work when you buy it.

I’ve purchased a washer here before about 3 years ago. This time when I purchased my washer it was leaking when they installed it. I called and they sent out a technician. He didn’t have the part so he left. I spoke with Amanda on several occasions and she was really great. Even with all of the craziness I could tell she was overwhelmed, but still provided me great customer service. Since they were unable to repair my washer because of a shortage in parts they are sending me another one. As a returning customer I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Amanda!!!

Driver called me to tell me he was almost to my house. The agreed price was $80 to buy my used fridge worth $1500 new. They tried to change the price to $50 and wouldnt honor the deal. The owner called me and told me they dont pick up appliances. I asked her why her deliver driver called me and told me he was on the way? I scheduled this and have numerous text messages detailing this. Dishonest representation. Bait and switch tactics,Please boycott this place.

I have been purchasing appliances here for at least 10 years. I even bought my mother in law a washing machine to transport to her home in Rockport, tx because she trusts A&S more than any of her local stores. I have a residence and two rental properties here in SA and have continued to be pleased with my purchases for both. The items simply last and I never give them a second thought. Black was even available for my home kitchen. Again, I am a loyal customer for life.

Purchased a used dryer from them and within a week, I noticed my clothes were coming out with holes and rust stains. I called them and within a couple days, they sent the repair man to see if the dryer could be fixed but unfortunately it could not. They immediately sent me pictures of other dryers they offered and replaced it the next day free of charge. I believe most of their appliances come with a year warranty thankfully. Amanda and Matthew provided me with great customer service. You take a risk buying used but overall, they handled my situation very professionally and I would use them again.

Bought a washer and a dryer less than a year ago at this place and was offer a year warranty with them. The washer broke within 11 months. I put it on the back of my truck and took it back to service it. Every body there was great and treat it me with respect and let me know that they will fix the washer and honor the warranty and left the place feeling happy. It wasn’t until I went to pick it up that this short man of about 5 feet tall who asked me for the receipt of the original purchase. And since almost a year had past I had no idea where it was. He told me I couldn’t take the washer because of it at first and had to argue about it so I could have the appliance back. He told me that if I the washer broke again an I didn’t have the receipt they would not honor any kind of warranty again. I don’t know if this guy was the owner or a manager or what gave him the right to act in such an arrogant way. A week past and the washer is broken again. What kind of company doesn’t keep electronic receipts of their sales. Honestly is kind of sad and sorry. Anyways, I’m not going back there and won’t be purchasing anything else from that store just for the fact of how that guy treated me, and I don’t think my business matters to them much, but I’ll make sure I tell every single of my friends not to purchase appliances from this place.

Everyone at A and S was very friendly and helpful. They walked me through what the best washer and drier was for my situation based on my needs not just selling me the most expensive units they had. Delivery was fast and efficient and he ran both machines while he was there to make sure everything was running smoothly before he left.

Friendly folks, the delivery is usually within a day or so, the prices are great, and we havent had any issues with the units we get.The downside is that for my higher end units, I may have to make another trip to find a better looking unit, but theyre always getting new stock, and for the prices, its worth it for my property management clients.

None of the appliances have price tags and everyone just makes up prices as they please. When I called about an electric dryer I was told that they had a kenmore for $150. When I got there, I was then told that it was $189. They said that it came with a 1year warranty but the receipt states that it covers parts only for 60 days and labor only for 1year.Makes no sense... They delivered my dryer next day and I asked if they could look at my old one and tell me what was wrong with it. It turns out that it was working fine. I needed to replace my outlet. This place held my dryer hostage for a week and wanted to charge me another $45 delivery fee to bring it back to me! I went across town to pick it up and they had dented my dryer and tried to say that it was already there!!! No apologies, no refund, no explanations just rude!!!! Stay away from this awful place!

My husband and I were very happy with their services at A&E Appliance. The people are friendly, informative and very helpful. We went looking for a dryer and found what we needed. I am glad we found their information on Facebook and we will definitely go their again for future appliances. Thank you A&E Appliance.

Website said to call a d check availability- called was disconnected- called was disconnected with a party going on in background- called was talked OVER by some girl that would not listen to what I wanted- when I said hey let me talk - she said let me transfer you to someone else and I was disconnected NO way to run a business

My boyfriend purchased a washer and dryer back in 2013 and worked great until just recently. Kept making a loud nocking noise only on spin cycles and I saw that another placed a review about the sane thing. Lloyd Carlson. Well did you take it apart BC we did and you wouldnt believe what we found! A large cement brick! Lol I couldnt believe it and my bf took a pic BC it was so ridiculous to find such a thing in a machine. After we removed it it ran fine and still does. Now why would ANYONE do that?! The only thing we could come up with is to balance it. But still, WHY 😕

My mom bought a refrigerator in 1993 and it is still running she speaks very highly of them and sends all our family and friends to their store. we are all very satisfied with their services that they provide. The staff is very friendly and gives us very reasonable prices. Myself and entire family have purchased all of our appliances from them. They always answer the phone and they always delivery the same day. We have been very happy to come to them for many years and we will continue to recommend any one who needs an appliance to them. My friend needed her gas stove repaired and the lady who answered the phone was so nice and helpful and send a technician the same day he was very professional and knew what he was talking about fixed it and has been in perfect shape since he left. We want to thank you so much for many years of great service no other store has done more for us.

Got an electric stove from here on Friday. Its been awesome! Very affordable. I wasnt sure if I had the three or four plug but they explained exactly what to do and it wasnt hard at all. Woop woop! I went in twice actually looking around and they were very helpful. When I had the cash I went back and still as helpful. I didnt catch there names but it was two ladies and and man. Thanks guys!
