Arrowwood did excellent work on my old odyssey at the end of 2020. Now in May of 2021 I had a new issue, totally unrelated. I called and got a quote from Arrowwood and a quote from another highly rated shop. I went with the other shop because their quote was $200 lower. In the end, the other shop ended up charging me more because their estimate didnt include the top quality part or a necessary filter. Next time Im not calling for a quote, Im taking my Honda straight to Arrowwood. Always top quality parts. Estimates I can trust.

Greg is a great guy to work with... I have had service there for several years for Honda (1990 Accord) and Acura vehicles (2001 MDX, 2015 RLX). If you get the vibe, vehicles last because of good service. They are honest and have affordable prices, much better than our citys dealership. They have been open since 1996 and trained as certified Honda/Acura technicians.

I was so impressed by Dave and Gregs level of service. I first encountered Dave around 730 pm on a Thursday (way past their hours of operation) at his shop by coincidence. My 2000 Honda Accord has just broke down in front of their shop. I was hoping to leave the car in their parking lot until the next business day. Even though they were closed, Dave took out his tools in the parking lot and got is started so I could get it home.The next day I went back there to have them do a diagnostic. Not only did they do a thorough run down of everything wrong with my car (and let me tell you, theres a lot!), but Dave and Greg also took the time to review the diagnostic with me and gave me a priority list to focus on to get it back up and running well.As someone who has a high standard for customer service, I was so happy with my experience and I will recommend this shop to anyone with a Honda or Acura. Their team is smart, professional, kind, and they simply do the right thing. Look forward to giving them my business moving forward!

Heard of this place years ago as a good Honda/Acura mechanic and never got around to trying them out until now. I typically use the dealer for service because of the convenience of a loaner vehicle, but since Im not driving to work during COVID I thought Id finally give Arrowwood a try. I took my Acura to them that just crossed the 100K mile mark.... so it was due for more than the normal fluid changes that the dealer does (it needed a timing belt package, spark plugs, etc.). Its a rather extensive service (probably the most the car will ever have). I was already dreading the idea of taking it to the dealership and having that annoying phone call where a Service Manager tries to tell me their technician noticed something and then try to sell me things disguised as expertise. I somehow always get told I need a fuel injector cleaning (almost always a scam), or a brake job (within month of replacing them myself), or a realignment. Obviously I always turn it down but its a pain in the a** nonetheless. So I was pleased when I took the car to Arrowwood this time. Considering how much work was being done and all the things theyd have to remove to do the timing belt... I thought for sure theyd upsell me on something. I mean business must be really slow during COVID and this would be the perfect opportunity to do it. Did they? Nope. Never. I even asked them to check out a few things that wouldve left an open door for most auto shops to sneak in something to make a few more bucks... but nothing. Arrowwood passed the test with flying colours. I may make them my go-to place for servicing both our Acuras now. Great place and nice people running the place. Highly recommended small business.

Anyone who remembers shade tree mechanics, who you could trust in a pinch to accurately diagnose a problem, do the repairs in a timely manner, without gouging the price like a dealer, will appreciate Greg and his team at Arrowwood. They will explain repairs in as much detail as you can comprehend without demeaning the customer. Repairs rarely take more than a day, so they use their skills efficiently. Extremely helpful. I just showed up at their shop not knowing they specialized in Hondas and Acuras, which is not what I had. Ut they said since I had come all the way to them, they were going to at least diagnose the issue with my vehicle, which they did, and declined to accept any payment. Their diagnoses enabled me to repair the issue I had. I really appreciate their assistance, honesty, and professionalism.

If you own a Honda or Acura in San Antonio, this is the only place to bring it to. They are honest and give a fair price. If your dealer says you need to replace something, these guys will tell you that its fine and not to waste your money. Great business owners.

The Honda Shop Ive been looking for. I took my Pilot into Arrowwood to change the oil, repair a CV Boot issue, and check the status of the differential. They did all there quickly and for an appropriate price. Plus in my discussion with them, I can tell they know Hondas and Acuras. They will be my go to repair shop in San Antonio.

The most amazing customer service! The employees go above and beyond here. My sister and I changed my belts with absolutely no knowledge of what we were doing but a few of the bolts on the fan were stripped so I wanted to have a mechanic have a look since it was making a strange noise. We rigged it with bolts that were not the right fit for the time being since we could not find the proper ones at any auto shop in town. Arrowwood had good reviews and was close by so I gave them a call and they were able to help me right then. So glad I did! They fixed the issue quickly and even offered a free oil change. Very professional and will be returning for future repairs and referring everyone! Thank you!

I wont let anyone else work on my Honda and Acura. Their prices are significantly less than the dealership and their quality of work is even better. Most importantly, they are honest and will not take advantage of you. They understand the value of retaining a customer for life. Once you give them a try you will never go back to the dealership again for service.

These guys are legit! I took my honda to a place where they were going to charge me $1,800 to fix. Wanted a second opinion and took it to Arrowwood. Arrowwood told me it was the radiator only that needed replaced and charged me $466. I have found my new mechanic. I highly recommend these guys. They are very honest and up front. Thanks Arrowwood!

Brought my Acura TSX in for power steering and a/c issues. My regular mechanic quoted me around $2,000 for the power steering alone. Arrowwood very politely explained that my issue was misdiagnosed and was able to fix both the A/C AND power steering for $263! Best part was that the entire process took less than 24 hours from drop off to pick up. Trust the reviews, these guys are amazing.

Always honest and good work

I really wanted to like this shop, but after taking my TSX there a few times, they failed to diagnose the problem but were able to charge me for repairs/maintenance that I could easily do myself such as changing the oil and spark plugs. Despite not diagnosing the problem, the charged me diagnostic fees each time I took it in. I finally took the vehicle to the dealership and now the vehicle runs great.

These guys are awesome. I called them about my valve head gasket leak, I got a quote and It was early enough that they got me in the same day. These guys are honest, reasonably priced (especially with my problem, I was looking upwards of $600+ elsewhere and they did it for $380), and do solid work.

Fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. They took care of every issue I had within a day and 1/2. They even went above and beyond spending time researching a unique issue I had with my 1997 Chevy Silverado, and didnt even charge me for that time! I am impressed, and definitely recommend them to do work on all makes and models, not just Honda and Acura.

Excellent service. I went to two other places that said my Honda Civic 2007 needed a new AC compressor ($1500-$2000). I happened on these guys by googling Honda Repairs because the place I was going to take my daughters car for a new compressor could not get me in. I consider today blessed, lucky, or divine intervention...whatever you want to call it. Anyway, they quickly diagnosed my car (low in coolant, two leaky schraeder valves, and a dirty AC filter). The total cost for the fix was $111.00. These guys are honest and they know Hondas and Acuras. If you have this make of car you need to be using them for your routine and mechanical service. I should have been using them all along. I have found my new Honda service center.

I take my Honda Civic 07 to them for my major routine services. I found them quite truthful about the services they perform and their charges are usually 25-30% less than dealers. I was more than once ripped off by my original dealer so I think they are better. ( of course they may not have as much overhead to pay like the dealer).

Compared to getting the same work done at a Honda dealership, this place will save you lots of $$$. I will hardly ever consider going anywhere else unless I need something done in a hurry, and thats only because they are way up on the North side of SATX.

They are honest guys took my Honda Accord to them 1997 and they took great care of it the whole time 10 years I owned it. I have a 2010 pilot I take to them whenever I need work to be done. And now my dad takes his 2007 accord for maintenance. They are good at what they do and its a great plus that they specialize in Honda and acura only. They are honest and fair. They will tell you what work really needs to be done. Took my suv to a dealership was told I had to have a whole bunch of stuff done. Arrowwood told me what really needed to be done. Will never take my car to be fixed at Fernandez Honda again. I took it to Fernandez and told me I had issues with my battery and a new one would cost me 130. I decided not to get one, thought I would ride it out till it died. Then one Sunday it did. I bought one from autozone. Then I took my suv into Arrowood for an oil change when I told them about my battery they told me my vehicle was still under warranty and I should contact Honda directly to be reimbursed for the cost of my new battery. So I did. Took a month but I got my money. Dont know how the dealership failed to mention that but Im glad these guys did.
