I went in to fix my eye glasses that needed the small cushion in the nose part area. The young lady Sada was extremely helpful with not only meeting my needs but going over my expectations. She pulled out the eyeglass tools and fixed my slant eyeglasses which I slept on. I pulled out another pair of eyewear to see if perhaps she can fix them since I broke in the center. Unfortunately they were not repairable but another co-worker of hers heard my dilemma, and asked if he could step in and recommend perhaps another option. He went over and selected three types/ style of eyeglass frames. He said he could perhaps switch my prescribed lens into one of the three frames he pulled out for me. I was absolutely ecstatic that he came up with a solution. Out of the three eyewear I absolutely fell in love with a particular style that he chose for me. Talk about sizing up the customer and for filling their needs. He proceeded to switch out my prescribed lens. And did it in a very effective and fast manner. I am beyond grateful and very thrilled to be able to have another pair of eyeglasses. Both individuals went above and beyond. Talk about extraordinary customer service. On top of that the eye glasses he chose were 40% discount on that particular day. It was a win-win situation for all of us. Definitely this place has won my business. And I will highly recommend to friends and family.

I had a wonderful experience at the Quarry location. John was very polite and knowledgeable. He was extremely patient in helping me select the frames that best fit my face and my own personal style. The team took extreme safety precautions due to COVID19 and I felt very safe trying on the various styles. Masks were worn, my temperature was taken and surfaces were wiped multiple times. Glasses I tried on were not placed back on display until they had been put through proper sanitation procedures. John went above and beyond to educate me on the best lens type for my specific needs. Exemplary Customer Service! My eye doctor first prescribed glasses for me more than four months ago. I had no idea how difficult it would be to find frames. I’d never worn glasses before. My family and I easily tried more than a dozen different locations with no luck whatsoever. We entered Visionworks in the Quarry with low expectations. What we encountered was a remarkable staff of pleasant, eager, and exceedingly helpful professionals. Kara V. helped me find lenses in less than five minutes. I was astounded. I had tried on more than 100 pairs since November. Working with Karla I found frames I loved and purchased in less than 20 minutes. This kind of professional customer service is beyond commendable, its wonderfully surprising. I am a customer for life. You should be too. Thank You Karla! Thank You Visionworks.

I usually get my glasses off of Zenni (cheap) but I decided I was going to splurge since I had money left in my HSA. I spent almost $700 on a pair of glasses and a pair of sunglasses. Not only did they take longer than the projected ETA but the quality was so disappointing! The piece that goes over the ear slides back and forth and the nose pieces are uncomfortable. These glasses did not feel like a splurge :/ Ill be going back to Zenni for my next prescription.Staff is okay hence the bonus star.

Saw the reviews and my insurance recommended them for my daughters glasses.said they would be in no later than August 8th I called today the 10th because no one called to tell me they were in.said there was a delay with the manufacturer now we have to wait at least another week. When they saw it was going to be a delay a courtesy call would have been nice. My daughter is starting school without glasses. Will not be going back. The associate that helped me was nice. Hes the only reason I even gave them two stars. Smh

Dr. Kessner is amazing. So knowledgeable, kind, funny and to the point! Took great care of my needs when it comes to dry eyes with contact lenses. He never left a detail out, all of my questions/concerns were answered. This man does not mess around, he’s mindful of yours and his time and I couldn’t value that any more! I will definitely return for my annual checkups! Who knew an eye exam on a Saturday afternoon could be so efficiently executed?!? Thank you Dr. Kessner!!!On the sales side, I was assisted by John P. Karla at Visionworks at the Quarry Village was amazing at what she does. She takes time with each and every customer that walks through the door. She let my daughter choose over 15 pair of glasses and try each and everyone on until she found the right pair for her. She was patient and kind. You don’t see this type of customer service anymore and what a blessing it was that she was able to help us today.

Really happy with the service. I brought my sunglasses in to get one of the screws in the frame replaced. This was done free of charge and they gave me a new Ray Ban case since mine was damaged. Will definitely come here next time I need a pair of glasses.

Excellent customer service. They were pretty busy, but they greeted everyone who walked in the door and went out of their way to ensure each patron was being helped. The person who assisted us went out of her way to help find the right frames for my unusually small adult face and head. I would definitely go back!

I had the best experience with VisionWorks. The staff is outstanding; not only in helping me to find some great frames, but when I received the first pair and because of the prescription strength causing the glasses to not sit right on my face, despite previous adjustments, they happily swapped out my glasses for a different set of frames that worked better with my prescription strength. Just called to ask what my pd was and the employee, Richard was “in a hurry” when asking information from me and in answering my questions and getting off the phone. Also I was not told that the glasses I had selected would not fit my prescription and this now can not be adjusted/fixed to be any tighter on my face and they slide all the time🙄

Shopping is my least favorite thing to do, but Yazmin made the process of picking glasses a lot of fun. She found exactly what I was looking for in a timely manner. Not to mention she worked with my budget. Ill be going back next year when my insurance renews.

My son is attending St. Marys University in San Antonio and his glasses broke. He managed to tape the lens in place and we decided he should check with a local optical to see if they could be repaired. His glasses are the kind with no frame on the bottom.He drove out to Visionworks in Quarry Village and texted to let me know that a man and woman assisted him at no charge!! He said they were very kind and it didnt take long to repair them. I can picture his wide grin now!Being on a tight budget, this was a great relief. Obviously, they had the right tools and training, but being kind and helpful to my son is something I appreciate even more. Thank you for getting the job done with a great attitude!

On two visits in a week I’ve witnessed Dr. Kessler berate his employees on both occasions. The first visit on 3/30 he complained rudely about his employees not doing simple tasks in front of me. That’s unprofessional and not something I want to hear as a customer. I took it as him or the office having a bad day and went on. Then today on a follow up visit, he again complained about a male employee calling him a “douche bag” not once but twice. Wow Doc real professional. You can be sure I’ll be letting Visionworks know how you professionals represent their company. I will also be informing my insurance company to your lack of complete professionalism. I would avoid Dr Kessler at all costs.

I love this Vision works!! So friendly and knowledgeable every time I go in. They do not disappoint and get my prescription right every time which is sometimes difficult because my prescription is tricky and is a progressive.

2 pairs of expensive glasses, hinge broke in exactly same place twice and in less than 6 mos.!!! Visionworks will not honor 2nd replacement, even with my purchased extended warranty/insurance. Will only replace if I pay 50% of original price which would be $150!!!! Wow, thats quite expensive for a pair of poor quality frames that have such fragile hinges and obviously low quality!!! They were Kate Spade cat eye frames, super cute but will have to see if I can get them repaired elsewhere. Will NOT spend my money here ever again!
