Professional and friendly services very reasonable price Aramis take good care of me this is definitely the place to go to.
That is the best place to get your guns fixed if you know Amire well he is a true gunsmith then a typical gun store like Durys and Nagels Gunshop he has time and time done repairs for me and my dad.And when my dads rifle was stolen he at least told the police the cereal number to my fathers stolen rifle. He does well and at times had made mistakes but at least he knows to call when he noticed the mistake. My dad got a phone call saying how my gun had things wrong and luckily Amire did it for free. The times I had taken my guns and payed 70 bucks not bad like the other two that are well known.I went to Nagels when my Remington 870 and a kid came up we told him it was loaded the kid told us it would be a extra 100 dollars for his risk Amir’s life worked at Nagels and got fired do to kids like that, anyway Amire had done my Remington 870 for free no charged and did a lot more better for free.
Aramis is a fantastic gunsmith. He built a .308 for me that is an absolute tack driver.
If you need any work done on your firearms I highly recommend going to Lone Star Armory. Aramis is a great man and will go far and beyond to help his customers and his Lay-Way plan is amazing. From Custom Builds to anything your mind can think of he can do it. Support this Local Business owner and keep great GunSmiths in business ! 👍
Went in for a front sight installation. The work was done right and very fast. I highly recommend them
Friendly service nice guy prices are reasonable.
GREAT GREAT GREAT and i mean what i say! Aramis was awesome. Had my glock Spic and span in no time! And also didnt over charge for some of the extra add ons! Highly recommend! Made 2 custom rifles for me that are flawless!Great place!
This guy does amazing work Great price and quick highly recommend
The owner isnt a people person..... so naturally I love the place!!
I’ve found some great buys at this shop. They also doing excellent gun repairs and enhancements such as blueing and etching. They also do custom leatherwork such as belts, holsters, and saddles.
So I went and purchased my first rifle, I noticed when I got home the safety wasn’t working very well. I called and told him my issue with it, he told me to bring it right in. I dropped it off and the next day it was ready for pick up. He had great customer service and I will definitely come back. Thank you again...
Who ever rude to me he will get same treatment this is one man shop if you dont to wait it please not post negative comment i. do my best for you.also we are have limited inventory .if I don/t show interest what you got .or selling means you are asking so much something we would not sell in our shop., Some of the comments are not fair just because we did not show interest..
Very slow and didn’t seem to care about customer service. He kept telling me “your gun will be ready in a couple days”. It’s been over 5weeks now. I would not recommend anyone going here.
Went in for a lower and the clerk was really nice and helpful with information and wisdom on guns. Will continue doing business with Lone Star Armory.
Great store, aramis was super helpful. He helped me built my first rifle and even worked with my budget. Ill definitely be coming back. Super knowledgeable!
Amazing weapon purchasing experience, Lone Star Armory takes the time to educate customers about their purchases and is fair and has very reasonable pricing!
Aramis is a respectful and knowledgeable gunsmith took my plane Jane ar15 for a new make over and when he called to pick up he turned her into a monster thanks aramis will be doing business with you again
Have had work done by aramis for years now most big gun shops here act like they dont need your business but this place will go above and beyond. Hes good people.
I’ve had a positive experience here. The gunsmith fixed up my gun and charged a very reasonable rate. I will be returning to get my gun re-blued.
Aramis custom engraved my henry bigboy rifle. He provided great service for my rifle, always felt welcomed at his shop and provided updates to the work. If your looking to engrave he can provide estimates and pay as you go plan, easy to work with. Depending on the fire arm will provide option on what you want to do on the engraving. Highly recommend.
Super-rude on the phone. Not even interested in seeing anything you offer anymore
First review must not have posted:August 2018: I had two revolvers Nickel Plated. He did a good job on the Electroless Nickel plating. However, He failed to put both Revolvers back together correctly. On the first one he forgot to put a spring in the mechanism that closes the Break Top revolver. I took it back and he said “I thought that’s the way you wanted it”! He reluctantly fixed it. The Second revolver took almost three months to Nickel Plate. When I went to pick it up, The Revolver wouldn’t cock and the single action would not release the hammer unless you pulled heavily on the trigger. So I Took it back to him and 2 1/2 months later I finally, after repeated calls, told him I was picking the up the revolver fixed or not. This was in August 2018. He said it was fixed when in fact this time the Revolver was worse. It was harder to cock the revolver. It took two hands to cock the revolver and the trigger wouldn’t release. He became angry at my complaint and threw his hands up and said “I can’t seem to please you” and walked away. I didn’t want for the situation to escalate out of control so I asked for my revolver and left. I Checked with other gunsmiths and explained the problem and it will cost me $100 + to fix, maybe more once it is taken apart. The part itself is $37.50 off the EBay plus shipping. I will never do business with this establishment again.
Nice gunsmith and great customer service. Fixed up my front site on my Ruger Hunter and got it done quick. I am baffled on the negative reviews. Seems like a lot of disgruntled human beings out there. I will be coming back to support Aramis shop.
Outstanding work hes done on my guns .very reliable and knows his way around guns .. Plus you really cant beat the price anywhere else .
Lonestar armory glass bedded, threaded and installed a muzzle brake on my 308. It is now a sub moa rifle. Went from 1 5 shot groups at 100 yards to .35....outstanding service at a very good price.
After I thought I was going to be let down by waiting over a week for night sights, Aramis came through and did a good job. Going to take my Walther to him next
Lone Star Armory (L.S.A.) is Awesome. Aramis is hands down a great gunsmith! Let me settle the his negative reviews on my own. First of all why wasn’t the Ruger sent out by the owner in the first place? Why should Aramis spend a dime on shipping something he’s not making money on? Yet, he was willing to assist. No comment of that though. As stated earlier, Aramis is a gunsmith. Not a cashier. I’ve had many transactions at L.S.A. Never needed change! In fact, I owe Aramis because I take advantage of his payment system. Last of all, nickel plating. The key word is “plating”. It’s going to add layers, common sense to most but not all! Anytime you do custom in anything you run a risk of the unknown. It’s custom for a reason. Being a business owner is not easy. It’s up to the owner to make it happen. Isn’t that the American Dream? L.S.A has serviced a bolt action .17 HMR and 2xAR15’s in .223 within the last couple months plus ammo, optics, and many accessories. In the payment plan I mentioned earlier Aramis built me an AR in 7.62x.39 that’s awesome! Thanks for going out on a limb and risking it all to providing much needed services Aramis! Can’t wait for the suppressed blackout!!!!!!!
Had an old pistol that needed to be test fired and had a great job having it done here.
Short changed me and couldnt do simple math. 2.95 plus tax gave him 4 dollars got a nickel back. Just wanted to get the heck out of there so I didnt argue. But is this the kind of person you want working on your complex machinery?
Horrible hes taking almost 6 months to send a gun to Ruger for repair (before i knew i could send it on my own) has been very unhelpful and rude, lied about it already being sent to Ruger but when I asked Ruger over 90 days later if hes sent it or called for a shipping label they said no.
Rude straight up
The man running this place is rude. Going In there you get the feeling he dont want visitors. They dont have a lot of inventory
Closed on mondays, not a good selection of weapons or ammo
Worst place in town people are very rude and unhelpful dont know how this place is even still open Ill never go back there again
Awesome place
