My first experience here was amazing. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable and clearly love what they do. Rick showed me an easy way to field strip my gun and its gonna be a huge time saver! Another gentleman with a Mohawk, Im sad that I didnt catch his name, I believe it was Joe, even helped me in the range itself and gave me some tips on firing the weapon. You cannot go wrong with this staff. If youre considering owning a firearm, this is the place to practice your skills. I highly recommend Nardis.

I’ve been to many gun shops and ranges. The Nardis staffs are always in a great mood and high spirit. Good explanation when there’s newbies at the shop. I’ve overheard some conversations between the new weapon shopper and the staff. They took their time to explain some of the laws and regulations to the shopper, to ensure they understood the firearm safety and explained how we all take it serious. They are well informed, up-to-date, easy to talk to, and very willing to share experiences and information. The staffs are, also, relaxed, comical, and professional. It’s the kind of people I’d like to hang out with. Very cool people.

I cannot say enough about the staff and the facilities. Excellent in all regards. My wife and I attended the beginners course with Joe Kabanek, what great guy and instructor! He took his time to ensure that he knew what level we were at and showed great patience. Made us feel safe and comfortable. I cannot wait to take another lesson with him. He really knows how to teach! He took my wife from an anxious beginner to a level where she shot well and is comfortable enough to go back. Heck she shot better than I did! lol. And, I cant forget the staff as well, very nice and very helpful. The young man at the counter, (sorry cant remember his name he is a former Marine and was working early Sun. 7 Oct.) He got us all checked in and helped us with gun selection really top notch, very professional. If you are looking for a place to shoot or take lessons I highly recommend Nardis at Rolling Oaks.

It’s a great facility with even better people. I became a member after the first visit and enjoy how quickly they get me set up. All of the equipment works great and their free targets get you in the marksmanship mindset. They also have a great selection of gimmicky and friendly competition targets. There’s range ammo if you need it and a good selection of rentals if that’s your thing too. I highly recommend checking the place out and visiting the gun shop up front. Yes the bays only go back 60ft but most real life scenarios are much closer, speaking from experience as a former active duty marine. *Photos are from different trips.*

I attended my first introductory class 2 weeks ago, it was very educational, safety is the most important thing I walked away with. My instructor Joe has solid knowledge and professionalism in all aspects of teaching one to respect this sport.Since then I attended my first private lesson with Joe, he focuses on ones individual needs, I had a great experience and looking forward to my next private lesson in a month to focus on my specific needs.The staff are wonderful and make you feel like you’re part of a family.Thanks,Joe

My husband and I are new to guns and Andrew Thornton made us feel very comfortable we where already considering a membership and he made our decision a lil easier because he was very helpful and knowledgeable.Cant wait to try out new guns and determine which one fits best.If my experience changes Ill make an update post 😊

This was our first visit to Nardis, but it definitely wont be our last! Joe Kabanek is an incredible instructor. Hes very knowledgeable, personable, and patient. We look forward to working with him again soon. Chris was helpful and made the check-in process very efficient.

Gordon & Rick are awesome guys!! Extremely helpful, courteous and professional. Had a few issues with my shotgun and they were able to assist/instruct with correcting the issues. I highly recommend Nardis Gun Club for an awesome time!!!

So I come To this place for the 1st time to sell my gun. It was 5 minutes until 7:00 p.m. when they had the gate closed to the store through the iron gate the man proceeds to tell me that they are closed And that they close at 7:00 p.m. While he laughed at me. Clearly on the door it says they are open until 8:00 p.m. it also shows on the on this listing they are open until 8:00 p.m. and it mentions that pick up closes at 7:00 p.m. Not the store. Nonetheless It wasnt quite 7:00 p.m. yet. That is completely unacceptable I went to another gun store and sold my gun for considerably more than I thought I would get for it. Lucky me. Had a similar bad experience at another one of their locations. Seems to be consistent throughout the company.

We had such an awesome time. Rick, Gordon and Joe helped us out so much. This was our first time and they made our experience so helpful and helped me to relax. I cant wait to come back.

I was EXTREMELY blown away but the cleanliness and professionalism of this place. Staff rivals Chick-Fila for customer service, possibly better, TBD. The gun selection was nice in the pistol dept and I was assured they will be adding new in inventory constantly. The manager of the location was awesome, friendly, and very helpful. The fact I pass by it on my way home every day is also a bonus. I’m excited to be apart of the “Nardis Family”Stellar work guys.

Went into ask questions about my firearm(1911 Kimber) and Andrew was very helpful with answering all my questions and very friendly. He also gave me very helpful tips about how to shoot properly and clean my gun the right way.

First and last trip in to this store. Went in yesterday to purchase a handgun magazine. When I got up to the counter to pay they asked if I was in their system and I said no. The sales person then asked for my information so he could put me in their computer. I said no thank you, I dont want to be in your system. The sales person then said he couldnt scan the item unless I was in their system. He assured me they wouldnt use my info to solicit me. So if they dont use it for that purpose, then why do they need my information in their system in order to purchase something? Plenty of vendors out there to choose from that dont have this requirement so Ill give my business to them.

Went in today, my first time. Staff is so friendly and professional. The facility is very clean. I went in at around 4pm Sunday. Good time for when you want to go in with less people. Just went in to try it out this place, had a good experience and will come back for sure. The other regular customers were also pretty chill. Once youre in your lane, its easy to get focused and get to work!

They were very helpful when I went in answering all my questions and making sure my purchase would benefit me not just be a quick sale. Will be recommending Nardis.

I have been to this location several times. The range is top notch and the selection of guns to rent or purchase is unbelievable. I travel the country for business and whenever I’m in San Antonio I make sure that I stop into this Nardis location. Not only is the staff extremely knowledgeable about guns, ammo, holsters, range bags, etc. they are very professional and friendly. I have never felt pressure to purchase anything from any of the staff. They will spend as much time as you need to answer any and all of your questions. I have to give special recognition to Emily and Drew. You will want to ask for either of these guys.

Very satisfied with my purchase from them. The staff was knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I had. Sucks about the ammo situation, but given shortages I understand where they are coming from on needing to be a member to buy. Would eventually be interested in a membership however they didnt force it.

Definitely will not be returning. Outside of their hvac issues and it being hot and humid this place is not only disrespectful and unprofessional, they will advocate you leaving firearms unsecured in your vehicle. Was told cant shoot steel case and one of the 5 guns i brought had steel case. No worries, I just wont shoot that one no big deal. I was told I couldnt step foot on the firing line unless I put that particular gun in my vehicle. They wont even go off the honor system there and immediately default to a place of not trusting a customer that would be in plain sought off their RSO. This was after waiting over 20 minutes in line while the other cashier butted non members in front of me.TL;DR this place is a waste of time and over priced

Overall Id give 2.5 stars. VERY clean establishment, Very well organized, and Very nice staff. Where they lose stars is because they cater way more to members only. I asked about ammo and I was told they would only sell to members and was then given pricing and details about a membership (I feel it was more of a sales pitch). They had a CZ scorpion micro that I was highly interested in but was told they will not sell it to me due to me not being military, law enforcement, first responder etc... which I guess I could understand? But why turn down any sales? The next day I went over to bracken gun shop and got the exact same gun they had and ended up spending my 1200$ in cash over there. Dont think ill be back anytime soon.UPDATE:I raised the review rating. I can understand ammo shortages for sure, but still don’t think it is fair to totally turn down someone just because they aren’t a member, maybe do limitations on what they can buy?As for the CZ I was never mentioned any of that what so ever by your staff. All that was mentioned to me was “you must be military, law enforcement, first responder etc...” then nothing after that. No special qualifications required by the manufacturer were ever mentioned, even at the place I BOUGHT mine from. I was in and out within 15 minutes (LTC purchase).

Took private instruction class with Joe. Was excellent, informative, and was well worth the time.

Great place. Super clean. Theyre extremely safe. I talked with a couple guys names Drew and Chris M, that work there. They couldnt have been more professional, informative, friendly and just easy to talk to and ask questions. I tried out the range (very clean). Over all i was very impressed. Thank you guys. I wanted to purchase a gun for safety purposes so I gave Nardis a visit. I thought that they could help me since I am new to guns. However, when I went the man we were given was extremely rude and condescending. I dont recommend this place for people just starting out if you want genuine help. I almost went through with the purchase but I had to stop because of how rude the man with the glasses was.

Very good experience there yesterday, young lady was very helpful to my brother who was a novice gun shooter to ensure he felt comfortable.

We checked the new Rolling Oaks location on Saturday. They require you shoot brass ammo but will only sell it to their members. We just wanted to try the range out before buying a membership but they made that impossible. It is not a very welcoming environment and the staff were not very friendly. We went down the road to Buck and Does and had a great time and will be joining their club.

Very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend. I would like to thank Jessie and Oscar for all there help. Great folks.

I went in asking about ammo and the customer service from one of the gentleman in the gun shop is horrible. The attitude the guy had was very disrespectful, over a question about ammo. I mean if you dont like dealing with people then you shouldnt be in customer service and you Sir should find another job or work in an area where youre NOT dealing with customers. I will no longer shop at this location sadly, but I will stick to the Original location.
