Bernard is such an excellent instructor. He is well versed in what he knows and teaches. The class concentrated on safety and laws. Well worth the time!

We really enjoyed ourselves in this class. It was run very professionally but we also had fun. We learned a lot about the laws. We learned a lot about stuff we have no idea when it came to license to carry. The instructor Mr. Lawson was very very knowledgeable and answered every single question. I appreciate organization and he was very organized. And with a class that long I would think that some people might get bored and even sleepy, but not in this class. Very energetic very engaging. We will be taking more classes here in the future.

Since its opening Ive enjoyed my range days here.. Never had a problem before.. Everyone is always professional and courtesy until my most recent visit..I just purchased a new firearm and the only place that carried the ammo was shoot point blank.. What started off as 9 boxes of pretty expensive ammo.After careful consideration I ended up with 6 boxes..As I was being rung up the cashier said I thought you had more? and glanced at the backpack I came in with..So I said your welcome to check my bag. Im not stealing from you..The cashier declined and we politely exchanged a few words about shoot point blanks policy on carrying personal bags into the store as he walked me to the exit.Had he added anything to his statement I probably would have thought differently.. It was a uncomfortable experience to say the least..

Make sure you go and see auntie wanda! Bought my whole arsenal from shoot point blank and would definitely continue to go back. Again, go and see auntie wanda shell take good care of you. One of the only reasons we went back weekly!

Great content and clear instructions from the certification instructor… Very simple, quick stress free. The only slight down side was the 10-15 minute sales pitch for legal services from the conceal carry but it was still informative.

Clean and well stocked, a little understaffed but thats probably covid related. Wanted to ask alot more questions but the 3 employees seemed preoccupied. The range master was pretty informative.

Went in to buy something for my gun and I got the worst customer service ever. Will never go to this store again! They need to hire friendlier staff and ones that actually like helping customers with questions….

Horrible experience.I went to the store to purchase a 2k firearm and the sales rep (very arrogant by the way) told me I should look at cheaper options. His service was the worst ever, even giving me a bit of attitude to get rid of me and continue chatting with other colleagues. Honestly I don’t go to gun stores to learn how miserable you feel about your job or life but to buy the gun I like, regardless of if I need it or not. You should learn from Nagels or Adelbridge about customer service and overall sales.

Wonderful experience! Especially for a first time shooter, the atmosphere and staff were absolutely amazing and helpful ! Pricing was also extremely reasonable. Definitely going back as I signed for a membership before leaving.

The store is new to the area. I wanted a new rifle an upgrade if you will. I went in spent a couple minutes browsing then an associate ask if he could help me find something. Shared my little story about what I owned and so did he. Went on and decided on Daniel Defense DDM4 V7. Sales man said I should choose by how the rifles fired and how it feels. Which was a great idea. The M4 was awesome to fire. I had a great experience. If you ever need any firearm I would recommend Shoot Point Blank. Great staff always helpful and no pressure to buy. I took my Texas LTC course last weekend. Absolutely phenomenal. From the the instructor, to the rest of the staff, to the range time. Perfectly clear instructions, we covered everything we needed for the test, and more. I wasnt expecting to learn much being an already avid shooter, but I walked away with more knowledge than I had before and feel MUCH more prepared to legally and SAFELY carry my firearm. Great class from online to in the classroom. The speed of the online was perfect. Not so fast that it feels like the information is not important. Not so slow that you can fall asleep at the keyboard. Lots of good information to improve anyone’s skills as a responsible gun owner.

Great shop, wonderful staff. All of them helped with my first gun purchase like true professionals. All the staff was friendly eager to assist with questions and help. Even with alot of novice questions they always had a smile on their faces and went above and beyond to make sure I was purchasing what I wanted, néded and that I was totally satisfied. I bought a rifle online and was notified that it was being sent to this store. I had never been there but have had experience with buying online. It is just way smoother if you use repeat FFLs. They were great and I would have been in and out except I want to look around because the place is nice and the employees are nice. See, other businesses, that is how it works;. have a great product and customer service, you will build a loyal fan base. It is not about getting me through the door once, it’s getting me to return. I will be back for more at my new go to.

I absolutely enjoyed the LTC class. Bernard and Greg made the very ho hum legal material engaging, and not so hard to get through. It also made it interesting hearing from guys who are very experienced in the field, and use this knowledge on a daily basis. We also had the pleasure of getting tips from one of the store managers, Edward, during the class as well. I would definitely recommend these instructors, and this specific location. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient.

I just left Shoot Point Blank and I must say that I was very frustrated because my AR47 didnt run the way I intended, however, Wanda was the range boss and she was very helpful, nice, knowledgeable and professional. She immediately called for assistance to help me with a serious jam. In came Tony and he tried everything in his power to help me unjam my rifle and offered tons of feedback on what I can try to make it better. The team was awesome, by far the BEST customer that I have ever received. I will be sure to give them my business and I would recommend you all do the same.

I absolutely love Shoot Point Blank San Antonio. Been a member since opening weekend here. Being a gun owner it was important to have a safe place to shoot and practice, going to a range with knowledge staff and having inventory on hand this year when arms and ammo have been hard to come by. I love the fact that because of Shoot Point Blank, my wife has now become a gun owner and a very proficient shooter in less than a year. While not the biggest or flashiest range in town, theyre big enough to accommodate everything Ive ever needed. If youre looking for a range home, look no further.

My Shoot Point Blank location in San Antonio, TX is great! Ive really enjoyed my membership. Ive been a member since the location opened in June of this year. The staff is excellent, friendly and very helpful! I very much appreciate the policy on ammunition these days being a member. They have the ammo that is normally hard to find almost every time I go to the range due to this very fair policy. Keep up the great work!

Came in just to see prices as I was looking for a specific yet very simple hand gun, the sales associate was awesome I wish I had gotten his name but he likes berettas and had one on him and told me why he picked it, didn’t rush me, yet even explained details on almost every pistol I was considering, great place, very fair pricing, and will be a returning customer even tho I live in Houston !

Great store with awesome membership packages. The indoor range is very clean with an employee available if you have any questions. Monthly membership is very affordable with many perks. Never seen it too crowded. Never have had to wait. Gun and accessories are available at good prices. And my membership allows me to bring a friend every time.

Buying a gun for the first time was made easy by Jesse V. He saw us looking at some guns and asked if we needed help. I had a few questions and he answered them easy and in a way I could understand. We finally decided on a gun, filled out paperwork and the waiting process began. Jesse kept us informed on the status of paperwork, while showing us the bullet we needed and Holster that were available for this model. He made us feel at home and we will definitely be back to buy another gun really soon. Thank you Jesse V for all the info and see you again. We will definitely be on the look out for you next time around.

Range and facility are nice. However the employees are not receptive to their clientele. Extremely slow service and there are plenty of employees just standing around. Only one guy manning the members only line very inefficiently/slow. I had to wait 20 minutes to shoot just standing there after I paid, and there was plenty of open bays. Finally some random employee saw the disappointment in my eyes and did something. If you guys want to run a productive floor please get your employees moving, and acknowledge the simple needs of regulars.

Clean place, seemed bit small, employees crying about hours in the actual range. Kinda of unprofessional.. $32 for first time visit.

The class was great. The instructors commands were easy to follow. I really enjoyed qualifying for my handgun license. I am a new member and plan on renewing my membership.

I would like to say that Shoot Point Blank is by far the best range/gun store I have been too. As far as customer service they are very professional and attentive to your needs. As for for the products and items, they are always stocked and have great prices, as well as bundles and monthly plans. I just recently completed my ltc courses with SPB, and it was simple and easy to understand the training. Loved the precision test and teaching from Bernard.Thank you SPB!

I started going to this range in July. I only went in for ammo, ended up with their top membership and have not regretted it at all. David and Wanda are but two of their great team of employees there. Everyone is extremely friendly and even more knowledgeable. I doubt that I will go to another range after meeting the team at this location.

They make it impossible to cancel your membership....they have you sign up on a tablet in their store so nothing is saved to your phone then when you try to charge your password because you cant remember your password they wont send you the password reset email...they send plenty of other emails to sell you products but they tell you that you cant cancel any other way except online. Corporate office doesnt even have a phone number. Hows that for business? I would steer clear of this facility. They have no problem signing you up and taking your money but make it impossible to cancel membership!

Ok so this is a followup review from 2 weeks ago which I gave them 2 stars for customer service. I got emails and phone calls from Ralph and Rick apologizing and promising to do better. Ralph went so far as to have me ask for him by name and he would take care of me. I decided to stop by again unannounced. Again I was greeted by Sylvia and again Sylvia was very sweet and friendly. I asked to see shotguns and she did a great job and had excellent knowledge of the rifles. I wanted a magazine in place so I could get a feel for the shotgun and she looked for about 15 minutes but she found one. So her service was excellent. Afterwards I strolled around and another guy came up to me asking if he could help. Happened to be Ralph whom I had spoken with. We chatted for about 15 minutes looked at more rifles and he assured me that he was doing his best to keep things going in a positive direction. I have no doubt that I will be doing business here moving forward . Thank you Sylvia and Ralph for a positive experience Good luck.

I was driving by and saw this place. I stopped in and I was impressed with the selection of firearms and accessories. The facility is clean and seems well maintained. The staff was very friendly. The range was very nice. Membership fees are very affordable. Parking is plentiful. Other ranges should take note of how this place is run. Kudos to the staff. I will definitely bring friends and family back. Keep up the good work.

There are a few new indoor Gun ranges in town but none like this. Others make me feel like I’m bothering them or they’re just not friendly. But not this place. Shout out to Alfonso for all your help and kindness.

Shoot Point Blank (San Antonio) is the best in class when it comes to hospitality, cleanliness, and an overall excellent experience. From the range instructor, sales floor employees and management, their employees exceed expectations. From the first time I went to SPB it was a great experience. I didnt feel belittled as I an new to the firearms world, in fact I felt so at ease. Any questions I had were answered without any ego, but a sense of helping the customer first. It is my home range and SPB will have my business for life. I highly recommend them for practicing at the range because their prices are hard to beat, classes are great, and the hospitality is matchless in my opinion. The staff was very helpful. I bought my first handgun at this location and it was an easy process. The range is great i like the indoor setup.

Honestly the LTC course I had attended was great. The instructor Mr.Greg was amazing, funny, and straight to the point. My instructor was prior military, current officer, current with changes and upgrades, military spouse, and USCCA certified.... in Laymans terms is a total badass. Will definitely shape how I attend my next classes with shoot point blank. Also in the class you will get a rental for free and only have to pay for ammo if you don’t own a weapon or don’t have it with you at the time of class. Hearing protection, targets, and eye protection will be provided as well unless you prefer to bring your own. Bathroom breaks are dependent on the teacher but I do recommend bring drinks and snacks as they have a drink machine but not a snack machine or eat a meal before class since I can be lengthy not because of the instructor but people in class may have lengthy amounts of questions. All in all I had a great experience.

I absolutely love this place. There gun selection and pricing is the best around. I have bought more tham a few pistols from this store and plan on going back for more. The staff makes you feel very comfortable when you walk in. It could take some time to get some assistance looking at something or asking a question, but it is only because they are engaged and giving thier full attention to the customer they are assisting at that time. But if you are patient and wait your turn, they will give you the same respect in return.I also took the LTC course thier. Greg is one of the best instructors Ive ever dealt with. Very patient as well. If you dont buy your next gun there, you will definitely regret it.You guys and gals are awesome!!

Awesome customer service great manger and sales team. Even though took some time to find the box for the gun i was going to purchase. lol I seen a nother gun I liked. Charles let me test fire there rental version and I left with a new tp9 elite combat. Ill be going back for my next firearm.

My rented gun jambed on me 2-3 times but I still scored a 239 on my test for my LTC. My instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful and did assist me with the gun when I asked for her help.

Ive been a member for several months and love SPB!! Bright, clean, well run store with a great variety of firearms & accessories. I go to the store weekly to buy & to shoot. I must say that each of the folks Ive met are very helpful, and I wish to mention them now: In no particular order - Ralph, Sylvia, David, Jarod, Luna, Alphonso, Wanda, DeeDee, and several more, whose name I cant recall. These folks are ALL very helpful, professional and genuinely friendly. To me, when I walk into the store, the atmosphere is like Im with friendly neighbors who happen to know more about firearms than I do! Thats why I keep coming back!

New location on 410. First time here with my family. Didn’t get his name, Sunday, August 16th, late afternoon, guy working the front is so rude and not helpful at all. You would think the staff here would be more welcoming to this new establishment. NOT! We got such a bad vibe from this guy we didn’t even stay, we went elsewhere. Management definitely needs to train their staff a lot better. Unless they just don’t care as well. We will not be returning to this place. And to think we were so excited to have a place like this so close to home. I’ll take that long drive on the other side of town where everyone is more welcoming and friendly. Makes a BIG difference.

Walked in to a very clean storefront. Big sign on wall for Range Entrance. Very friendly staff, and plenty of workers. I forgot my tools to make adjustments on my rifle and one of the staff members lent me his own multi-tool to help me out. I was skeptical about indoor ranges but Im sold on this place because you have more freedom to shoot at will without ceasefires (unlike outdoor ranges). Plus the weather was cold and wet, so this was just perfect. I cant really find anything to knock a star, so 5 it is. Maybe this place is a 4.5 star facility, and a true 5 if they had horderves ;)

Called ahead for ammo availability, they had 22lr. I drove there and they wont sell me 3 boxes worth of ammo unless i joined thier monthly membership. Really shouldve communicated that before i wasted time. 2 stars only because its a nice facility and they have always been friendly. Yes i was a return customer

Great experience all around, from the instructor to the floor associates. Instruction was clear and patient.

Purchased a gun on Sunday and the staff was super friendly and helpful. However, for the gun they sold, they were out of ammo. I have to travel from out of town to get there and concerned that I would make a trip and they would be out of ammo by the time I got there. I have called every day and after 5 days, they finally have what I need, but couldnt take a payment over the phone our system isnt equipped for that, so again, no guarantee I will get the ammo I need. I just mentioned that it was frustrating and now Im thinking I shouldnt have purchased by gun from them. The guy on the phone, just hung up on me. Not good customer service skills at all. Would give a 4- 5 star for the weekend crew, but today would get a 1 star.

I walked in and was greeted right away. I was a little nervous. I let them know it was my first time buying a gun. They provided me all the details needed for choosing the right one. I was not rushed or pressured into purchasing a gun. I did end up purchasing the pistol I wanted and bringing my wife the next day so she could purchase one as well. I dont remember all the representatives names but here are a few I remember Jarod, Charles and Sylvia. I wish I remembered the others so they can receive the credit they deserve. After buying my pistol I purchased my 1st rifle and became a member. This facilty is always clean and the representatives are there to help. A happy customer always returns. Great old school customer service. Greeted at the door every time, and treated like a VIP each time. I am not a member yet but only have been in to browse or get ammo and each time its been a great experience.

Customer service: (8/10)-pricing (4/10) (more on that below)-range quality (6/10)-Selection of firearms (8/10)-training and classes (???)My biggest issue with this place is on the principle of having to pay for a range trip, buy a gun, or be a member, in order to buy ammo. In order to buy .223, .40 s&w, 9mm or 45 acp, (popular ammo), you have to pay for one of those services. Which I personally find dishonest, in addition to this swindling practice, your limited to 3 boxes total, even if you get multiple cartridge types. I can personally attest that there are multiple ranges in San Antonio that are more established and (to my knowledge) are not practicing conditional purchases on ammo.

Love the staff very helpful - wished I had gotten my LTC with them. The other place was terrible. I will be a long time customer.

This was my first time ever walking into a gun range and I was blown away! Michael was helping me throughout my whole experience giving me details on different guns and in the end being my cashier for my first gun ever. He even helped install my sights! I will continue to go there and let everyone know about it!
