The owner Reggie, was really great. I had my exhaust manifold replaced because of some broken bolts. I also asked him to upgrade my exhaust to a dual exhaust system. I went in for a resonator delete and aftermarket muffler kit weld on the GTI. The work they did was good. The welds look high quality. They worked pretty fast. I had an overall great experience here except for the fact that they could have aligned the muffler a little straighter before welding it.

Was told by a Firestone that my car had exhaust leaks. They took my car up, and it took them less than 5 minutes to tell that I didnt have any exhaust issues at all. They could have easily lied to me and took my money like the Firestone was trying to do but they didnt. They also warned me of a transmission issue I didnt know that I had. Honest people work here.

Stopped by to get a potential exhaust leak checked, was told by reggie at 3pm that day I couldnt be seen, understandable(few cars there) told me to call back between 10-10:30am the next day, no answer, tried again he picks up, and I mention I stopped by yesterday for the exhaust leak check, he then says, I wont be able to get to to it until 3pm that day. Judging by the tone in his voice exhaust leaks arent important to him, I dont like how my issue was handled, Ill be moving on.

Without a doubt the best maintenance shop I’ve been to in San Antonio. They were quick and easy. I brought my old school Cadi to them with the exhaust pipe holding on for dear life due to rust. They gave me a great price and replaced the whole thing quick and easy. Now my car runs exceptionally well again. My only regret is finding out from some friends later that I should’ve got the Flow Masters with dual pipes lol. That would’ve look badass. Thanks guys!

2 other shops said installing a non-bolt on dual exhaust would be difficult on a Trailblazer SS due to clearance issues and difficult bends. Mike undertook the challenge and knocked it out in a couple of hours. Very happy with welds, routing and general workmanship!

Had a custom install earlier today, 8 May 2020. Im from out of state and was looking for a small shop in the area, as it always seems they are more appreciative of their customers. It was their reviews that made it an easy decision to call, and Reggie was very accommodating and fit me into his busy schedule without second thought. Not at all disappointed. Spoke with Reggie the day prior, and we didnt talk cost untill I showed up today. I think my response was whatever it is, its cool. Absolutely worth it. They were fast, efficient, professional and so detailed that even staggering exhaust tips wasnt finished until they talked to me about it. I went to EC exhaust on three separate occasions, and Ive decided to look elsewhere. My main complaint is craftsmanship. The three vehicles that I brought were and 88 Suzuki Samurai, an 84 F150, and an 83 F150. Not looking to impress anyone and being a minority here, I did not want exhaust tips. All three times the tailpipe was cut crooked, and wasnt reamed. The Suzuki was the last vehicle I took there, and the tailpipe was not parallel with the rear bumper as the stock one was. If I personally had a vehicle lift, I would also be sure to finish the welds all the way around the exhaust pipe. You know, dry fit the parts, tack them in place, take it down and finish welding on a bench, and put it all back up. What I got was a muffler that got grabbed off the shelf with an inlet and outlet a size too big for the pipe and an gorilla weld around 5/8 of the pipe that was done in place in a hurry. Their pricing, when it comes down to functionality, was reasonable. And though I would have been fine with leaving the vehicles overnight, they always got the job done that day.

So impressed! My muffler fell off my car and they were able to reattach it without even making an appointment. I waited for less than 30 minutes and would recommend this to anyone!

Came in on a Friday afternoon with no appointment and left an hour later. Took my 2014 Hemi Ram and switched the fugly stock single side rear outlet and installed a Magnaflow single in, dual out with two new tail pipes and tips straight out the rear. Great attention to details and very fair pricing. Even gave my son a popsicle while we watched in the heat. Nice touch!

Everything about this place is great. They’ve been around a long time, Reggie has been working on exhausts for 30 years. Today I stopped by unannounced after installing a Borla exhaust I ordered online, and wasn’t happy with the drone. Needed my stock exhaust put back on and welded in 2 spots as it was cut off when removed. Reggie and another guy took off the Borla, reinstalled my stock exhaust and made necessary welds, had me out of there in 30 minutes. Price was great. Will definitely use them anytime I need exhaust work.

Brought in my 1971 Cougar to completely redo my exhaust from manifold back and they did a great job. Very friendly and informative and had no issues whatsoever. Worked with my price range and helped pick out the correct mufflers to fit and I absolutely love the sound now. Best shop experience I have ever had!!! Walked in the door told them my problem and within seconds they had my truck up on the lift checking it out 5 mins later they came back and gave me a quote which was very reasonable and fair and within an hour they cut my old muffler and tail pipes off and welded a brand new one on their. It’s clearly advertised that they close at 6pm Monday thru Friday. Wednesday I get there at 530 and was told I couldn’t get inspected because they’re closed. I talked to mechanic Ramsey in the parking lot at 534 pm right in front of the open/closed signs that clearly says six pm. I had rushed through traffic and cancelled an appointment because they advertise six pm closing time.

I was told by mechanics that my catalytic converter was in need of replacement and was referred to Exhaust Centers. Within two minutes of arriving, Reggie was outside in the parking lot assessing my exhaust system. He determined that the catalytic converter was NOT the issue and advised me on next steps to fix what was more likely the underlying issue. This level of honesty and helpfulness from a business when it does not serve their financial end is so refreshing.

Called 4 different exhaust shops around San Antonio getting quotes on a muffler swap for my Ram pick-up and by far Exhaust Centers had the best price, phone conversation was quick and super friendly, they had the muffler in stock but, the best part of my experience was arriving and seeing them cut and weld the new muffler on in less than 10 minutes! I was waiting for them to finish a truck before me for 17 minutes but they know how to run a business for sure! Shop was also well organized and clean. 100 out of 10 recommend them for sure for all your exhaust work!

I have taken my cars to EC twice for catalytic converter replacement at the recommendation of my mechanic. This is an independent shop and the fellows who run it are thorough, honest and professional. I trust them completely when it comes to exhaust issues.

Ive had an annoying exhaust leak for at least a year, I couldnt find the leak and neither could firestone. I had some time off work today, brought it over to EC and within a minute of putting my car on the lift diagnosed the leak, showed me the problem, and were able to do the repair right away. Reggie welded a new flex pipe in my Honda and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. Price seemed reasonable since theres no way I was welding in a new flex pipe and the convenience was easily worth it. Would recommend and return if needed.

About 3 weeks ago after dealing with horrible shops in my area I found Exhaust Centers online. I gave them a call and it was a little later to see if I could come in and get an estimate. They were very friendly over the phone and allowed me to show up 30 minutes before closing. Upon arrival they had my car on the lift and were checking it out within 5 minutes and gave me an appraisal in 10. I showed up the next Tuesday after letting Reggie know I was going to come in and they started right away after lunch. I had a custom y-pipe and muffler delete done in under 2 hours. Very good and honest pricing from them, Reggie was very helpful and straight up. My car sounds great and ive only noticed that one tip is like 2 centimeters lower than the other but Im OCD. Besides that I have had zero issues since then!
