About a month ago, an employee asked if I wanted to sign up for something while checking out. I said no and continued finishing my purchase. When bringing out my military ID, the employee’s entire demeanor changed and he proceeded to bring out the membership card again and insisted I sign up because it was free for military. Stupid of me for trusting this employee, but assuming since there’s no way an employee could confuse this policy since it’s a service they usually charge for. I felt pressured to sign up and went through with it.I just found out that they charged me $11 for a magazine subscription and I couldn’t be more upset. Had I not noticed it, who knows how long I would’ve been charged. Now, I’m having to contact FYE’s support page and wait 5-7 business days for a response only for them to tell me I have to contact them through another website and wait another 3-5 days for a response. I understand we’re still in a pandemic, but greatttt customer service come on. I don’t even know if they’ll be refunding me.I’ll probably never shop here again. Hopefully it wasn’t the employee’s fault, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is due to pushy management. I’m extremely disappointed to be lied to.

Terrible…I’m a store manager myself and nobody greeted or helped us, just one girl towards the end and the whole time two employees were behind the register on their phone, talking. Never approached any customer. I wasn’t going to buy anything due to the lack of customer service, but my cousin wanted something since there’s no FYE where we live. During checkout, we heard employee offer “10%” to person in front of us and asked for information, when it was our turn he said “I just need your phone # and email for a 10%” while showing us a loyalty flyer? My cousin asked what it was and instead of explaining, the guy said “10%”. He didn’t provide any information, perks, if it was membership, cost, nothing. My cousin simply said no thank you and employee changed demeanor to even more rude. Again, as a SM I was schooled at the lack of customer service- not to mention the store was messy with shirts unfolded left and right. Sucks how we’ve never been to an FYE and this was our first experience.

Sadly, this store is not as popular as before... but that means that yiu find hidden gems you cant find anywhere else! Theyre super friendly and usually well stocked in figures, pops, and cute things. I love going after a long day of shopping at ingram(:

Great place for find and buy games or do trade ins. Theres games for all, PS4, Nintendo handsets. Has new and used games. Prices are great. Customer service with knowledge of all games.

I absolutely love this store! I traveled all the way from my side of town (30+ minutes away) to come for FYE. The only reason why I dont have it at 5 stars is because most of the shirts they had were gone. I mean, almost the entire t-shirt area was gone. It was as if someone came and raided all the shirts. In addition, some things, such as the DVDs, were on the pricey side, but other than that, I fell in love and will definitely make the trip back!

The store isnt what it used to be, its pretty bare bones now. Hardly any merchandise out on the floor aside from a few pop figures, candy, and t-shirts. Hopefully that changes soon, I really liked this store.

What can I say other than I love this store! If youre a Pop collector such as myself, they have a huge wall of so many different pops and its great when they run promotions on them! Also love that they carry lots of horror collectibles because those can be hard to find sometimes. All around great store with unique items!!

Havent been to the mall in a long while that being said, I had no idea they got rid of all of their DVD sections. Went there to pick up some blurays and look for some TV shows, but they had nothing. Just candy, shirts, some collectible stuff, but really nothing special. Man I was so mad I went all that way for nothing.

Went there to get a kpop album and the prices😃. I got a taste of love album that was 40 something dollars, when the original price was like 23 dollars. The other albums are overpriced too.

They had good prices and nice items.

Its a cool store for pop culture and anime. Just like how they use to be when they were around a while back. Did find some items I was trying to collect. I got in line and searched the same item and of course Amazon has it cheaper BUT you got to ask yourself 1. Is it worth waiting for the item for $5 bucks or so cheaper and 2. What are you REALLY getting online? Either way. Cool place, cool finds.

I dont visit Ingram Park Mall very often, but when I do FYE is usually the reason. This store has everything to fulfill your entertainment needs. The only complaint I would have is that the store feels cluttered. Too much product and not enough space.

This a is a cute place for those that love animae lots of collectibles. I enjoyed it.

They have a nice collection of exclusive coloured vinyls, funko pop figures and shirts as well as other items.

I liked the different items they had including exotic stuff like Anime based energy drinks and Japanese foods. The prices were a bit high though which kept me from buying anything not on the clearance shelf. The cashier was quite friendly though.

My daughter and I love this store. Went in for a t-shirt for her and ended up spending 200.00! Very easy to do that. Wish there was one in Houston.

This place is great for any Pop! Collector! Its always fun to walk in and view their great selection. Even better: the staff is friendly and sociable!😃 Nothing like the shady comic shops or cramped GameStops trying to push you around for a sale.🤑The associate I spoke with at the counter could not contain her excitement about D&D;🎲🐉 it was refreshing when most employees cant bear to spare 5 seconds to treat customers like actual human beings.🤝🏼They also have movies, clothes, Keychains, imported snacks and plenty of aforementioned Pops! I always come here when I visit the mall. 👌🏼* Im not a member of the reward program, but just make sure to cancel before it charges you. And avoid the magazine subscription!😅

I want to check it out but they are closed. A helpful hint, make a voice mail recording and inform your customers. Keep google updated with temporary store hours or some kind of message. Going off the grid is not a good way to run a business

I think FYE has such a random and cool variety of items.

Was signed up for the VIP program and told it was 100% free. I didnt see till a couple months later that it was 11.99 a month. I found my membership card so I could cancel and was kept on the line for way too long by the person helping me while she kept saying that she would keep me on because of all the great benefits even though I repeatedly kept telling her I wanted to cancel it. Huge scam by the company, and wont be shopping there again.

I love this place. You can find all kind of cool and different items. I have been shopping here for a long time and will continue to do so. This is inside ingram park mall.

The cashier asked me to sign up a VIP program for a 10% discount and didn’t tell me that it is for a one-month free trail until I signed up. The program will charge $11.99 monthly fee. I was told that it can be easily got canceled but it was not! I called the cancellation number and was told they couldn’t find my records! It is such a SCAM!

A very interesting store that had a variety of things that were ranging from cute japanese edibles to low priced old school movie classics. The staff were friendly and the inside of the store was clean. A bit cramped in certain areas but still easily accessible to reach the merchandise. Would love to go again :)

Great place for pop culture merchandise

We love this store. Some items were overpriced but the most of the items were reasonably priced. We enjoy this store because they still have so many movies and music that isnt sold anywhere else. I usually stop by for older horror films and uncommon metal CDs. We usually visit every time we stop by San Antonio.

Lots of deals on shirts and music. I love their selection of ramune and asian treats. Membership card also gives you great discounts. Definitely recommend the store for all ages and anyone

DO NOT AGREE TO SIGN UP FOR FYE VIP. You could potentially be signing away your card info to various magazine subscriptions in the process, as in the terms and conditions they DO NOT mention anything about sharing your information with third-parties! Even if you call to cancel the card theres a good chance youll still get charged. If you want to avoid this mess entirely but still want to shop at FYE, bring cash because they will use your card numbers used during your time of purchase to pay for their loyalty program a month later if you agree! Due to me not being all there at the time and not saying no, I had to go through the trouble of going to the bank and getting a brand new card with new numbers to avoid any charges. Its not the fault of the employees as companies usually threaten them with termination when it comes to subscriptions. Im very disappointed in the company and I dont think I will be giving FYE my business anymore until they rid of these deceptive business practices.

Like others have said, it’s a mess, you’re really going to have to sift through a lot to find what you’re looking through, but it’s kind of part of the fun to me. I’ve been shopping here for years, a lot of my movie collection comes from here. Also the best local place to find Godzilla movies!

Great variety of current pop culture items, however I hate being lead into signing up for 3 different things at the register. First they wanted my email but didnt tell me why. No Im not giving my email. Second they said Im going to get a month free of their rewards card but didnt mention it costs 11.99 thereafter. No, I dont want it. Third they wanted me to sign up for three magazines but I would pay after the first month. No. No. No. Very deceptive practices. I just want my receipt and leave.

Very classic store in Ingram Park Mall. Glad they have fun mystery mini figures for the new IT movie and fun themed chocolate bars, in this case for David S. Pumpkins from SNL.

Either they are closing or getting new merchandise but they need to restock some areas & clean up a little bit other than that its a great store & has good variety of movies
