Excellent experience. The gentleman who rung me up was knowledgeable and very polite. He even pointed out the gauge on the strings I was buying to confirm I wanted 10s and not 12s - something youd rarely see at the larger chain stores. Definitely will be returning!

Had a great experience at this store. We came in the day before school started with a clarinet for my daughter that we thought was in perfect working condition. Come to find out, it was not. We put in a work order to have it fixed and expected it to take a few days. It was taken back to the repair room and while we were still paying for our other things, the repairman called us! We went back to talk to him, he gave us an estimated price and told us he could fix it in 5-10 minutes. He did, and it works wonderfully! Other staff was very helpful! Will be going back to this store.

I met Steven at my daughters school. He sold us a violin that seemed like a good deal. The next day he called to tell us he no longer had the violin and would find a suitable replacement for my daughter. He told me the store employees were informed and they would be expecting us. Upon our arrival at the store the employees were clueless. They kept pushing low quality junk violins nothing compared the one we selected with Steven. I had agreed to $400 for an Eastman. They were trying to swap it for used junk worth less then half what I had agreed to. BAIT AND SWITCH! Someone needs to turn them in to the chamber of commerce.

My son started guitar lesson at school 2 weeks ago and he broke one string last week. His teacher said he could fix it if he brings in the string. I had no time to order the strings online so I started looking for it at some music stores in town. I see Hillje Music Center has good ratings so I gave it a try! Maybe we were lucky! Theres some kind of promotion going on at the store so they replaced all 5 strings & tuned them in record time FOR FREE (it would have taken us 2 hours to do so without a guaranteed result!). We are really thankful and grateful!

Knowledgeable, friendly staff help us with instruments rentals everytime my kid needs a new one. Highly recommend this place.

They sit there and they send you to someone else as a music shop because they dont want it to that guitar

Paid to have Alto Sax corks and pads replaced. I had to call to follow up on repairs as they never notified the repairs were completed. Needless to say we are paying for repairs again to the pads (in another shop of course) and the repairman stated only 1 pad was replaced from Hillje Music. I will never use them again.
