Matt provided experienced and patient sales support. A professional who knew the vehicles, associated attributes, and intricate interactive features. No pressure, no hassle…. A pleasure to work with. Everyone we met on the BMW San Diego Team seemed to love the BMW experience, which made me feel even more comfortable with my choice.
Go to Matt. He got me a great rate and the car I’ve been looking for. He definitely knows what he’s doing and is very transparent with you. He knows BMW. He showed me how to use all the features and specs. Very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions.
I went in for my yearly service and was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was. I was greeted right away and then given over to a very friendly service manager. The service was done within 2 hours and my car was washed at the end. The lounge where I waited was very comfortable and I was easily able to hook up to the free WiFi so that I could work while I was there.
Very professional and caring sales people. Jovanni Martinez was patient and very honest. She found the car if my dreams and made the deal come together. Robert in Finance was also great at listening and explaining details.
Michael Parker was outstanding in helping with a recent service call. He kept me in the loop as my car went through the process for two days. BMW of San Diego is a class act - every encounter with employees no matter how casual is cordial and friendly. Comfy customer lounges - we have been going to this service dept for 25 years. They never fail to impress.
It was my first visit to BMW of San Diego, I was there for an emergency service while I’m 2 hours away from home, eager to get home from a busy weekend I took in my M3. TJ Bell the service advisors assistance was 10/10. Very professional, urgent and friendly, make my experience very welcoming. I would definitely come back for my service needs.
San Diego BMW is a world-class organization. My experience from the test drive to taking possession of my “build your own” vehicle was excellent. My BMW advisor Meghan was extremely knowledgeable of the BMW products and provided 5-star customer service. I am new to the BMW family and I’m very pleased!!!
I had to drop off my X-7 a couple of weeks ago in emergency for service. I am from Arizona so it was very challenging to figure out the repairs and transport. I was introduced to service rep Carolina Cook. She is amazing. Took care of the repairs, arranged for alternative transportation and even ship the SUV back to Arizona. Super nice and very helpful. Highly recommended. The service department in this dealership is extraordinarily and go above and beyond in customer service. 5 stars and Thanks
After waiting for 3 months for our M3 order, we ended up having to walk away after a terrible experience with Ash in finance. He was rude, arrogant and condescending. He didnt want to honor the .9% rate we qualified for until we pushed back, then didnt want to help with the $500 military discount. It wasnt until I walked away that my salesman sent a text saying they will honor it now. A text in which he suggested my ego was getting in the way of a sale, rather than their poor customer service and deceiving business practices. I’ve never experienced such bad customer service at a dealership. We’re coming from Porsche where we’ve only had great experiences. I wanted to give BMW a try because we just had a baby so we wanted 4 doors and a stick shift, but after this experience we wont be giving BMW our business. This is the type of repeated experience that gives dealerships a bad name and leave people desiring an experience like Tesla offers. Just read the online forums to see the countless others whove gone through this nonsense. The average consumer is much more educated these days and the stereotypical games dealers play need to end. Save yourself the headache and find another dealer to work with.
I generally love taking my car here however, with my last experience I had some items stolen from the console of my car. I will be reaching out to them to explain what happened, and hope to have this issue remedied. As for her repair work they did a great job.
Gary couldnt of been a nicer tech to deal with. He got me squared away then followed up the automated text with a phone call to arrange to pick up my car. The facility is very nice and personnel are lovely and diverse.
Dealership is under really good management right now. The employees here are very helpful and courteous. Shout out to Charles Webb, Ash, Kevin Gonzales, and Sam for their help, particularly after I had bought my car there. I had a small issue with my vehicle after purchase and they resolved it right away for me.Thank you BMW San Diego
We were treated very well they took very good care of us. After the purchase of my car it was clean and filled with gas. I’m very happy with my BMW on the service I received from their fine staff.
The best place to buy a BMW in San Diego. The staff are courteous of your time and all about ensuring the best client experience. Andre was by far the best sales consultant I have ever worked with. My wife was super happy with the experience and at the end of the day, that’s really all that matters.Nice work BMW of San Diego.
Out of state (Arizona) purchase + trade-in.Here is how it went:I’ve visited BMW of San Diego on a Saturday mid-day a few weeks ago. Javier Osuna greeted me and showed me inventory based on my preferences. Javier was pleasant, knowledgeable, and had great suggestions. Javier is also a great listener too as he remembered and made sure all my preferences are addressed. Then we found the perfect car for me.Once we got working on numbers, I’ve met Stephen Kang. He put some fresh batteries in the calculator and we agreed on “numbers” for my trade and the new 2022 BMW. Considering I was out of state, Stephen explained how things work and we shook hands and wrapped the deal. The finance process was done with Marcos Lopez. Another great guy. It was done quickly although I went back and forth with the service contract, wheel protection, and few other options. Marcos was able to match my Credit union rate as well through BMW financial. This was by far one of the most pleasant vehicle purchases that I can remember. We also had some fun too.Looking forward to my first service!
Took my X5 in for an oil change and to inspect a strange noise that keeps occurring under engine. After a week of investigating the noise issue, they never found it, but suggested engine repair work that was not guaranteed to address the issue along with many other non necessary recommendations for repair. After declining most of the recommendations, I did have them proceed with two rear tires being replaced and balanced and an oil change. When I came to pick up my vehicle, my bill was 50% more than what was quoted for the work approved. So the dealership either overcharged me for what I approved or did work that I did not approve. Based on the confusing itemized bill, I am not sure which approach they took. Unfortunately, I was in a huge hurry and did not have time to negotiate, but after a quick meeting with a manager, they did reduce my bill, but it was still MUCH higher than the approved work price stated to me. After getting that gut punch, I walk out tom retrieve my car and they didnt bother to wash or vacuum the vehicle. When I questioned the attendant, he said he had no idea why it wasnt cleaned and basically it was not his issue. While all of this is bad enough. This is the 3rd time now that the dealership has failed to clean/vacuum my car, which is supposed to be part of the service. I am officially done with this place. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!
From the purchase with our salesperson Matt A in Pre-Owned.... through to some tinting soon after with Kevin G in service our experience at San Diego BMW has been 5-star. Matt understood his product, priced the car with us fairly and kept an eye on our needs every step of the way. No pressure at any point in the process. Kevin set the right expectations for the work needed and was very professional. This dealership obviously moves a lot of vehicles but they still managed to make me feel valued. EXCELLENT experience overall.......I will buy my next BMW with this team.
I just purchased a new vehicle BMW San Diego. Dan helped me with my purchase and provided a great experience for me and my boyfriend. I’d recommend this dealership and plan to buy with them again in the future.
Depending on what you need to get done, you definitely get what you pay for. I always call in to book an appointment and ask for a rental car no matter how big or small, how quick or long the estimate of repairs of whatever you get done. I have a 2 year old and she just cannot sit around, so just asking for a rental is usually never an issue. My service advisor was Gary James and he helped me with all my issues. He gave me a quote for all the repairs needed and made sure I gave him the okay before getting the car worked on.The staff are always nice, they try to be pretty prompted to assist you with your needs and make things smooth as can be.Plus the location is clean and I believe the biggest and busiest in San Diego. My car always feel brand new and in better shape after I leave with the repairs maintenence done.Only suggestion, with courtesy car wash, maybe vacuum interior could be part of it as well.... it would be a nice touch to come back to your car not only clean on the outside but clean and smelling new on the inside....
Our salesperson, Brandyn Harris, was so helpful. He was friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and, most importantly, accessible! This is our second BMW lease from BMW of San Diego, and we will look for Brandyn when it’s time for out third. Thanks, Brandyn. Love my new 2 series.
Andrew Kim is one of my top 3 reasons why I keep buying BMWs from San Diego…my 5th or 6th one. Very efficient and outstanding service
I brought my brand new M3 that was purchased at another dealership to BMW of San Diego for a tire service. I previously purchased an extended warranty for wheel/tire, which was provided to the service associate at the time of drop off. They did not have the tire in stock, so it had to be ordered. I was given a loaner vehicle and told that once the tire was replaced, I could pick up my vehicle. No problem, easy up until this point. The next day, the tire was received and the service was performed on my M3. I signed two invoices that were emailed to me indicating the work was performed, and there was a zero balance. I was also informed that the car was ready to be picked up. However, I was also informed that I could not pick up my car until the warranty company submitted payment for the tire. I indicated to them that I needed my own vehicle, and I would be coming to pick the vehicle up since the paperwork I signed indicated the car was ready, and there was a zero balance due from me. I was told that it was their policy to not release customers cars to them until warranty payments were made. I was not informed of the policy beforehand.*Edit - they reached out to me and clarified the policy, and the issues were discussed. All parties were very nice in attempting to resolve the matter.
First time with BMW a lot to learn about this vehicle but they do offer you to sign up for a course to learn the ins and outs of your car. Staff are very friendly, but didnt find out until later that my car wasnt equipped with Navigation or satellite radio so that was definitely a bummer, and that is the only reason I put four instead of five stars... All in all nice car.
Chris Levy and the fantastic team of engineers at BMW of San Diego were my savior angels in a remote city. When my car broke down in San Diego during a long drive (road trip) Chris worked tirelessly with the team of engineers to get me back in the road and back home as soon as they could. They prioritized the diagnosis of the issues which caused my car to break down and fixed it with equally high priority. The quality of their service was very high. Chris touched base with me several times during the repair process and kept me updated on the progress. And even after I got back home Chris touched base with me to make sure my return trip went well. Thanks to the BMW of San Diego team. I highly recommend them for utmost professionalism, excellent service and customer support!
Very trustworthy dealership for service. Representatives take the time to understand your problem. (Jayson, was very helpful on most recent visit). Nice loaner cars and Lyft rides to and from your service appointment are available. Yes you will pay a bit more than an independent shop but my last experience with this made it worthwhile for me.
Tony Bonanno the salesperson is highly recommended!!! The best ever excellent experience I have with excellent knowledge of the car and awesome customer service. He is the Best!!! The finance manager David Pham is also terrific with excellence knowledge and great customer service in signing the documents. Aloha from Hawaii :)
I didn’t wait too long to meet with a service advisor (I had an appointment). Chris Levy was the service advisor and he was wonderful. Super friendly, efficient, and comforting. I wish BMW would assign a particular serviced person to a customer - I would choose Chris for sure.
Gary James did an outstanding job for me. He was helpful with his suggestions. I highly recommend him as a anyone’s service advisor.
Not only BMW of San Diego is a top rated BMW dealership in the country, but it has a cadre of top caliber service advisors - Andrew Kim is on top of the list. He is technically adept to the BMW line up and at the same time laser-focused to customer needs. Andrew is a genuine asset to the dealership!
Excellent service as always from Caroline. She is efficient, courteous and reliable. Can’t recommend her enough
Excellent Service, Sam Ketenjian always takes good care of my car. I was surprised by my last visit, Sam talked to his manager and did the free oil change and service when the service warranties expired. Thank you.
Just bought the first BMW in my life. Very happy😊.Excellent customer services. Want to say thanks Carlos and Stephen, they doing great job 👏 .Highly recommend!
Amazing service department. Andrew, our service advisor, was knowledgeable and went out of his way to provide exceptional customer service.
Dan was great, super helpful and easy to work with. He made the process of buying a car enjoyable and wasn’t pushy. I am very happy with my X2 thus far and happy to be part of the BMW family.
I was assigned Arturo as my technician and main point of contact, A lot of back-and-forth first he caught me at $700 and bump up to 1000 once they have my car. The level of communication was super low not to mention I always got a attitude they made me wait an additional hour just to give me eight dollars off. I highly recommend you go somewhere else for better prices. In better communication
Everyone was efficient, very accommodating, friendly, and took care of everything in a timely manner. While in the garage getting an unexpected mechanical issue taken care of, they looked ahead and took care of routine maintenance and found a nail in a tire that I wasn’t able to find.
Ive owned my car for the past 33 Mos. and have always been pleased withe the service I receive from BMW of San Diego. Always before its been for prescribed maintenance. This visit was to file a claim on my wheel/tire ins. policy. Because of tred ware I needed to replace the whole set rather than one individually. They were most helpful in recommending a better set than I had before. Extremely satisfied with the service and the product!
Great service department department the only reason not 5 stars is their loaner cars are always filthy. This last time I had crumbs on the dashboard and dried soda all over the center console. The inside windshield hadn’t been wiped down in a while. If they clean the cars it would be 5 stars.
I would recommend to have Jayson Vale-Cruz as your Service Advisor. I have been with BMW (San Antonio and San Diego) for 4 years and he has been my best Service Advisor.
I had a great experience aT BMW of San Diego! They fixed my 2015 4 series convertible- it drives like its practically new. Dave was very professional and it was extremely easy to schedule an appointment & drop of my car. I would highly recommend their service team to anyone in need of repairs!
Service time was longer, but they are understaffed so understandable. Only real complaint, car came back dirtier than when dropped off. Was supposed to be washed, but it was overlooked. When brought up to technician, he stated “bring it up to advisor” and left it at that. Same happened last time I brought it in about 6 months ago, but they stated washing services were down. Personnel were nice, facility is clean.
First and foremost David Trusdale is a God sent. Not only was he helpful and courteous throughout my visit, but he continued to keep me abreast of everything issue my beautiful 5 series was experiencing. He contact me via email and phone to ensure I was aware of every step that was taking place. Funny thing is my girlfriend has a Honda and was experiencing the exact same issue (air compressor malfunction) and her dealership seemed to leave her in the dark or confused her at every turn. She was extremely jealous and is currently considering a certified pre owned BMW. Long story short thank you David and the rest of BMW San Diego! If I could give more stars I would.
First and foremost a amazing experience with Shawn Shantiai he was great. I called him regarding 2021 m440xi and gave him the run down on what kind of numbers I needed for my girlfriend to make a purchase. He worked extremely hard to make everything possible and was so fast. I called him at 11 am by noon we had the numbers crunched and we arrived by 2 pm to make the purchase. This was hands down one of the best and most personable experiences ever and look forward to working with him again for future BMW purchase. I highly recommend this sales superstar if your looking to purchase from San Diego BMW. Thank you again. Best wishes!
Nice experience overall. It was a yearly tune up/ check up.Helpful sales/ account manager.Very quick overall as the car has few miles (only 34k) and barely driven through 2021.No issues.Could have rented a loaner but opted not to do soIt was nice to know however that I had the option.Always a great perk with high end cars to be able to do this when servicing a car.Positive nice experience.
Andre provided excellent customer service throughout my purchase experience. He was extremely knowledgeable in the world of BMW. He took the time to explain every part of the amazing machine. The entire team at BMW of San Diego made me feel at home, and thoroughly explained every aspect of my purchase. I’m extremely happy with my ultimate driving machine.
My service advisor, Jayson, has been kind, courteous and professional, for years! I appreciate that I can call him anytime with questions and he always gets back to me promptly. Bringing my car in for service has always been swift, well organized and efficient. Im not sure I love the new remodel, as it seems it has been done to make the drop of pick up procedure even more efficient, with with less human interaction and more texting. The system is more efficient. I guess I just miss the more human interaction of the phone call explanation about what my car needs. Oh well, guess I just need to get used to changing times! In any case: Thank you Jayson & BMW for your trusted service!
Always get great service over the phone and in person. Unfortunately I took my car in for a service last week and had my sunglasses stolen from the middle console. This was very disappointing.
Thank you TJ, for taking care of me and giving me the best customer service posible!
Gary James has been my service advisor for many years and he is the reason I return to BMW of San Diego. I trust him immensely. He is diligent, a thoughtful listener, and honest in his assessments and recommendations. He exemplifies the tradition of excellence I have experienced and appreciated for many years. The mechanics have always done an excellent job in a timely manner. It’s a great team!
Ive never been to this dealership, and Im so glad I came to this one!! 10 stars, they were very accommodating on short notice, and explained any extra fees that were required for my visit. Paperwork was seamless, courtesy car and car wash offered, but I opted to stay and wait; very nice waiting areas. Id like to give a shout out to Adrian, my service advisor, and to Joshua the tire specialist for answering all my questions. Thank you for all your help, and Im very satisfied with my visit. Highly recommended this dealership for all your service needs, they have a good crew!!!
Updating since Ive had a chance to go to the Service department. Very friendly staff and good first experience. I look forward to bringing my vehicle back for its scheduled service. Adrian did a great job of explaining everything that was being done and the time frame for how long it would take to complete. Great job.Ionly give 4 stars because Ive only been there a couple of times so far. Just bought my vehicle and the sales team and finance guy were great. No pressure and pretty straight forward about all the options they provide. The Genius that helped me through some of the things that are available on my model was excellent and understood everything I asked. So far it has been a really good experience and cant wait to see how the service department operates.
We’ve leased several BMW’s from SD BMW and they’ve always done a great job especially when it comes to service and getting things fixed quickly. Recently I purchased a 2018 used M6 and had several minor things fixed up on it. I took it back a few times and both Adrian & Marcelino in Service did a fantastic job getting everything handled and taking care of me as of a customer. Keep up the good work.
The team went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I purchased a certified 2018 I3, and am very happy with my purchase. Salesman John Hardin was a consummate professional - keeping me updated every step of the way. Go see John in sales.
If youre going to take your BMW in for service make sure to request Christopher Levy! He is very up front and transparent with everything, he takes the time to familiarize himself with your car and its problems with the technicians. He does a great job communicating what the potential service work will look like along with potential cost down the road if your vehicle is no longer in warranty.
San Diego BMW is top notch! Chris a technician there is unreal and very honest. The dealership is well run and your needs are met. No reason to go anywhere else.
The service was greatUnfortunately less than 1/2 the staff wore masks which in this climate of Covid and death rates is disappointing. Unfortunately in San Diego county we do not have a mandate but appeal to common sense which seems lacking
Chris was wonderful. I had to leave my car overnight Chris provided transportation home and he kept me informed. I will definitely come back again. Thank you!!
If I could rate it zero- I would.Ill remind myself in a few days (as of 08/16/21) to write a wholesome review once Ive had time to properly cool off and gather the appropriate resources & materials to reference for this debacle that calls itself a dealership. In short: if you have the slightest doubt, do not take your vehicle, here. If you have the ability to read and discern technical discrepancies, do not take your vehicle here. If you take your vehicle here: be prepared to face an uphill battle with untrustworthy advisors and technicians. San Diego BMW Services is terrible! If you must- go the El Cajon BMW, they at least know how to engage their customers and provide adequate services while your vehicle is being reviewed. This review is here until I can properly gather my thoughts on the matter.
I was completely blown away from my visit to this dealership! Everyone there was like family. The products were presented very well by a knowledgeable staff who had genuine interest in my questions. There was NO pressure whatsoever! Tracy is the perfect GM...Davin - Parts Director the best. You cannot go wrong if you are going to invest in yourself and get a one of a kind driving machine!
Needless to say I purchased my 535i from this dealership 4 years ago and had a very pleasant experience. Recently My factory warranty expired and I took my vehicle to this dealership for a very unique noise. It turned out to be pretty expensive repairs. Serviceman Chris Levy and service Dept. manager William Asaro went above and beyond to accommodate me. What they had done was way beyond my expectations. Whole dealership is a great team!! They are the Besta!
I went for a test drive and drove off with a new car. Frank was so professional, made the process so easy & smooth.
Chris was my service advisor and was amazing. Answered all my questions and my tire was replaced in one day.
Definetely the go to place to purchase a BMW. The staff were all so friendly and helpful especially my client advisor Chadi. Upon purchase my car had a scratch on the rubber gasket by the windshield but he helped us take care of it. Unfortunately can’t say the same for the new car manager Ash who was extremely unwelcoming and arrogant and proceeded to accuse us of recording him. Even after we purchased the car he never apologized to us and disappeared. Definitely, not what you would call customer service. Although Chadi made it up to us and apologized to us even though it wasn’t his fault in the first place. Best client advisor ever. Overall a five star experience if not for the manager.
BMW of San Diego is about providing the utmost customer service. A shout out to my service adviser Arturo Esquivel for his professionalism and steadfast advice and care of my car. Thank you and keep it up.
Having recently traded in a LEXUS for a BMW this was our first visit to BMW San Diego. Entering the customer waiting area looked like the employee break room at Walmart, stark room, plastic chairs, and white tables. My wife and I had to stand at a service counter while meeting with our knowledgeable and very professional service advisor, David Truesdale. It was uncomfortable and offered no privacy. All the staff we came in contact with very friendly, accommodating, and helpful though.
I love my service advisor, Gary James. He has been my “rock” for years as I am now on my second X3. Fabulous dealership.
Great customer service I didn’t feel like I was being pushed to get something like most dealers I’ve been to, they were very kind honest and helpful people. Would 100% purchase another vehicle here again
With the Silicone industry being backlogged, I was surprised, glad, and appreciative that BMW of SD was the only dealership (from a plethora of others I had visited that whole week) thats selling at MSRP and not forcing me to haggle down a $5-10k market adjustment due to inventory.BMW was honestly not my first choice due to being on the higher end of my budget, but after driving for a week, Im glad those other brands pushed me their way. Higher quality and performance with a staff thats blunt and didnt try to force anything extra and did their best to find the best car for my driving preference, style and budget.
Service center advisor Sam K. is seriously the best.
I recommend Jayson V. and the rest of the service team. Nothing but excellent customer service. He does what he can to fit my appointments in or have someone else get the car in and follows up with me immediately! Nothing but great things to say about him and his team! Thank you BMW of San Diego!!
I was very displeased with my last services from this BMW. First, I am young and taking care of my boyfriends car while he is away on deployment. I took the car in, and had no issues. But, received a a call from the man that was assigned to service the car. I asked if they had a payment plan for maintenance and parts, he told me no immediately. No less than ten minutes later I found a payment plan option online. Then the day I received my car back I was not given the car wash that I was supposed to be given. I was not very upset about that; but, when I found a car part inside my car from the OUTSIDE of my car I was just over the entire experience. I called back a little upset, and was giving the explanation that “if it was under the seat my service guys, wouldn’t be able to see it”... but my question is why was it able to get under the seat and nobody realize they had dropped it inside my car. BMW services are too expensive for these kinds of things to be happening. Nonetheless, the car works fine now.. but, I can’t help but to think if any of these things would’ve happened to a customer they deemed as “valuable”.
Outstanding. We required an oil change and had a bad windshield wiper. Drop off was easy for 0700 appointment. I stayed at BMW during work. Lounge is very nice. Car ready in just over an hour. Returned to me with three new wipers, and washed. Great experience all around. Thank you.
BMW SD and our salesman Amir were great. No pressure sales. Got us into a car we loved and within our budget. Great experience.
It was a pleasure to work with Larry Dodd during my search for 2021 x5. His exceptional customer service and efforts to find the right vehicle and provide a very fair “deal” made it easy to lease the new car with Larry. I would highly recommend Larry to their BMW customers.
Poor experience with service for a second time. My wifes car threw a code for down stream o2 sensor. I send my wife with the code. Her rep made her feel talked down to. Wouldnt accept the code from her. Told her dont tell me whats wrong with the car, tell me what its doing. The estimate included a fabricated $50 warranty processing fee. Long story short. There was no warranty processing fee, they just added that for extra profit. They didnt fix the problem we reported and the car threw the same code within a week of the repair. I replaced the 02 sensor (in about 20 min) and the code cleared with no issues in the last few hundred miles. The quoted price over the phone was increased by the time we went to get the car. The $50 deductible that was suppose to be removed was still on the bill (after calling BMW America, talking to the service manager and the service rep). There are better BMW dealers in San Diego. Spend your money wisely. Oh, by the way, they never even looked at the O2 sensor, the original thread compound had never been broke. A multimeter and 15 min would have confirmed our complaint. I truly believe the rep was mad I reported him to his manger for talking down to my wife and tried to pull a fast one. So I bought my new 540 from BMW Escondido. Great so far, BMW El Cajon has also been very good to us.
Was there for the annual maintenance service. Service was good overall. The only complaint I have is that I paid for the multi-points inspection but never seen a copy of the inspection check sheet nor was told about how it went. I guess I can just assume the vehicle passed with no issues. Wish I was told that clearly.
Recently was treated very poorly and with no response from management. This dealership does not care about their long time customers. We have been a customer since 2005. Just recently took my 2013 X5 in for an issue that was linked to a problem from Penske Auto Body. The auto body shop had broken the parking brake module after having the car for nearly a month for minor auto body repair. They paid for the fix through BMW of San Diego. A couple of weeks later I got another error for the same problem. I took in to have looked at and was going to be charged $2500 citing it was not linked. I found that very odd and coincidental. I decided to take the car elsewhere and once the decision as made my car was returned to me dirty not fixed and in a poor manner. They had an excuse to not being able to wash the car due to roof racks. My car always had roof racks and was washed before many times by their service department. I did not mind the no wash I wasn’t having the car serviced anyhow but to make a poor excuse shows the lack of integrity. I took my car to another shop and then decided to get a new car due to the high cost of repair. I actually went with a Toyota Highlander. I have a family I need a reliable car with reliable service. We have been loyal to the BMW brand having three of their vehicles in the past 20 years. We will not be back. I received a generic message from manager and responded have yet to hear back. Don’t go here unless you want to be treated poorly. Look past the free rental car and coffee in the shop. You pay for this with the high cost of repair. Also I question Penske as a brand too who owns this dealership.
Had a great purchasing CPO purchasing experience. Everything was taken care of quickly and professionally, got pictures when no pictures were not listed, received a complete MSRP paper with all the options on the vehicle. Christian helped make my first car purchase an awesome one!
BMW of San Diego has been my go to spot for many years and Ive only dealt with two people there, Mike Arsoni for 15 plus years and recently, Matt ArsonI due to Mikes moving on. I must say, it was a true pleasure to work with Matt. Amazing guy and the consummate professional. I can be a real pain in the neck and Matt was cool, calm and collected with amazing patience. At the end of the day I got a great deal on a BMW met a real gentleman.
We ended up buying from another dealer. I’m sure they have sales people that are more helpful, but I wasn’t happy with John. If you end up going there, maybe ask for others to help you or answer your questions. I know pandemic put a lots of pressure on employees, but that doesn’t mean they should offer poor customer service.
Martin did a great job of helping me out and helping me get a reasonable price. And was willing to take more and more cars for test drives. And wasnt pushy at all. Loving my new 2021 530i msport
Chris was really helpful with my Service! Very informative and Helpful overall with my experience!
Great service advisor Adrian Hernandez made thing so easy and pleasant. Much better then el cajon bmw.
Convenient online appointment system, reliable, and professional. I absolutely recommend it.
Carlos was awesome! Not pushy and worked to help me get a great price.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT BMW VISTA/ESCONDIDO/ENCINITAS. This is by far the best dealer in all of San Diego County. Not only did they take the time to fix what BMW of Vista previously “fixed”, but they go a step further in ensuring that your car will actually work when you leave. The communication between Brad, my advisor, and Pedro, my tech, was seamless and extremely clear, keeping me updated through every step. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the people at this dealership and the service that they provide. 100% should be the only dealer you need for BMW service!
I usually have good service here but this time it was fair. I like that the loaner car is a great convenience for dropping off my car and still being able to do the things I need to do (go to work, do errands, etc.). What I wasn’t satisfied with was when they notified me by text that my car was ready for pickup. I arrived about 45 minutes to an hour later and as I was paying for the services, the clerk asked me if I wanted my car washed. I had stated when I dropped my car off the day before that yes, I wanted my car washed. I figured when they said my car was ready, it was totally ready!! I ended up not getting the wash because I had no time to wait another 30 minutes, the car should have been ready to go. Also, the service advisor noticed I had no windshield wiper fluid when my car was dropped off, he said he would top that off for me and that wasn’t done, either. Poor service for the price you pay at a dealership, not happy about it.
Jayson always takes care of me and all my bmws! Had a nail in my tire which I had warranty for. Tire was special order so expected date was almost a week out. The tire came in earlier than expected and I got my car back 2 days ahead of schedule! Great service!
Chris Mariscal was very helpful. I highly recommend him.
Service advisor Chris was excellent. He presented all information clearly and professionally, without being overbearing.
Marcelino was very responsive, kept us informed and had great follow through. This was an excellent experience.

Fantastic service department. Highly recommend buying or leasing a BMW fromSan Diego dealer.
My experience at BMW San Diego was great, and my sales person, Ryan Littlefield, was professional and honest. It was a simple and painless process, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a BMW in San Diego. Thank you, Ryan. Im enjoying my M3!
Awesome customer service!! Very friendly and courteous staff. They cater to your needs and definitely try their best to give you the best they have to offer. Special shout out to Charles, my sales agent who delivered exceptional service to my wife and I during our visit. Highly recommend this location!!
This is a great place to do business. Waiting area is sparkling clean and service staff are all top notch. Im still on my service plan so cant comment on pricing but Im completely satisfied with the service Ive been receiving for the past two years. I give them two thumbs up!
I can’t enough good things about my experience today purchasing a car! Mike S helped me through everything and spent so much time helping me and making sure I was 100% satisfied with my car. He went above and beyond and I have never had a better experience purchasing a vehicle! If you can, I would 100% try to find Mike to help you!
Right away we want to say that some folks here are very nice (2 stars are for them). Here are our reasons for the 2 stars.1. On multiple occasions we would schedule an oil change and maintenance service with this location and after coming and waiting for an hour we were told that the car looks good but the oil change is not due. Why not say that during the scheduling? Who has time to waste? This happened 3 times and we even call twice for the same appointment to make sure that the oil change is due.2. When our car was a year old it had an issue with the door locking system. We were told it is not on warranty.3. When our car was 4 years old we had an issue with a screeching noise. We paid $190.00 for the inspection. They did not determine the cause. Offered to look further for an additional fee.4. We had an extended warranty ($2500.00 - 100,000.00 miles) that only covered 5 oil changes (very expensive oil changes). For everything else, we had to pay a $190.00 inspection fee and when the price was quoted based on what needed to be done. I would never buy an extended warranty from them.5. Some associates are rude and very disrespectful. We are kinda done with this location.
Andrew Kim is an outstanding service professional!
