Small, quiet coffee shop. Love their coffee, its a light roast. Dog friendly and theres no outside seating. We did not know this before going there. They only had croissants when I was there but my daughter says they sometimes have cookies as well. Friendly staff.

We are not from CA, but had the pleasure of having coffe at Claro when it was first opening. The coffee was fantastic and being from Kansas City MO we know coffee.The young man behind the counter was extremely helpful in explaining the details behind each cup.

Nice place, parking was a little tricky and not much parking on the street.they got my order wrong but giving me iced mocha instead of the hot i ordered but it was still nice. may give it another try later.

COFFEE DREAMS REALIZED. we came in to check out this new local coffee shop and left with a full blown coffee history lesson and one damn good dirty chai. There is so much passion and love pumped into this coffee shop. Plan to bring your computer to hang out and work while you bask in the incredible woodwork and high quality coffee. PS they have oat milk : )

This is a hidden gem in the Morena district with an aureate of wooden accoutrements and delicious coffee. I love that they use Zumbar beans.

Stoked to find Claro Coffee and experience it for the first time. The space is the former showroom of the wood shop next door, and they have done a marvelous job! Its a clean, calm and warm vibe. The cappuccino I had was excellent being pleasantly dark, strong and acidic without being overpowering with a touch of cinnamon. To top it off, service is great and I look forward to getting to know the staff more.Its a little off the beaten path, but thats what makes it a hidden gem and i look forward to coming back!

There coffee was good and the decor is really nice. While sporting a darker color palette the handcrafted wood furniture gives the place a real warmth. Place only fits about 20 people, but Deft brewing next door adds some dimension to what you might do if youre traveling by herd.

Visiting from New York and found this place online. We were a bit skeptical because of the outside and surrounding areas. Don’t judge a book by its cover though. It’s such a cute and cozy coffee place. Staff is very welcoming. We got the cafe con leche which was excellent. This place is definitely a hidden gem!

Handmade wood furniture and decor with smooth jazz playing in the background is the perfect place to grab a cup log onto the wifi and get your study on or just hang out with your friends after enjoying some fresh beer.

Tasty Mazagran Coffee in a Lovely Setting!Jorge and his team are serving delicious drinks in a coffee shop filled with beautiful woodwork. I dropped in on a business trip looking for a quiet place to do some writing and was immediately impressed by the lovely live slab woodwork on display. Jorge recommended a Mazagran Coffee that was cool, refreshing, and tasty. Highly recommend!

Before dawn day trip to San Diego and needed coffee before my meetings. Found this coffee house gem via google search and it did not disappoint. Great coffee and delicious, real butter croissant w amazing layers.Had an americano and an oat latte. If you enjoy chai tea, they have three types of “loose leaf”, as well as, a chai base for hot and iced lattes.When I’m back in San Diego, will make a point to visit again!
