The ladies helping are just rude and unprofessional. The moment I walked in one of them speaks loudly saying we never get a break. I am sure that meant customers keep coming in. Well, you are in customer service and do not say it so loud so your customers hear you. If you do not like it, then quit! I ordered a mocha. It tasted horrible. I had to go home and try to fix it. Just gross, not worth $4.70. Then they want to charge you 50 cents for whipped cream? Really? No thank you. Dunkin Donuts probably tastes better! I will find better coffee shops that happy to have customers and provide free whipped cream!

My first visit, lady working in the front was very nice.Ordered avocado egg white and coffee, it was pretty good. Just little surprise their prices are low.

This is the best Cafe Ive ever been to! The staff is exceedingly friendly, the service is great, and the atmosphere is very clean with great music.I am in love with their Vietnamese coffee and that thing really slaps you in the face and tastes super delicious! Also loved their BBQ chicken sandwich which was so warm and toasty on sourdough bread mmmm.I needed free wifi to work and this Cafe was so cozy, not too crowded, and the vibe was perfect.I love it!

Not only is the coffee great, the service is some of the best and friendliest you will receive. They are so great about recognizing their regulars and remembering speciality orders. And if you’re not a regular, they will make you feel like you are. I am so glad this place is in walking distance.

This is my absolute favorite cafe in San Diego. It is sort of hidden in a retail/residential community on the San Diego river but that makes it a special place! There is a huge fountain with a dozen stone tables, grass and gardens, and a huge clock all in side a circular plaza. Coffee is amazing, the juices are fresh squeezed where you can watch, smoothies have literally no water added (they use apple juice to get the fruit to blend, so cool!), the food is all organic and top quality, and the people are friendly and amazing.

Certainly a great spot to stop for coffee and maybe a little breakfast sandwich too.This is going to be a better option if you’re just in the neighborhood or staying close by hotel. I have a egg and turkey sandwich for breakfast along with the delicious French roasted coffee!The staff is friendly and the time that I was and it was not busy at all, mid-morning.They have plenty of seating options inside and out.

I only ever buy the toffee nut late, but its been one of my favorite things since I tried it. And everyones always real nice and sweet.

Great service at Milano Coffee. You must wear a mask to enter the store. A fun selection of coffee flavors including all the staples plus interesting ones like the Nutty Irishman. Specialty milks like oat, almond, and soy are offered. And check out their freshly made breakfast and lunch fare. Enjoy a hit cup to go with a great bite to eat.

Ive only gotten a latte so far, as I didnt realize they did real breakfast & lunch, so Ill be back to try the avocado toast (picture below looks so good) and sandwiches for lunch. I like to get 2 shots in a small latte (it just comes with one). The ladies were friendly and fast! The location is convenient.

Food is good though still getting used to the new simplified menu. It is nice that they have coffee ice cubes (hazelnut and french). Fast service though always one at a time.The ham and Swiss croissant is a great breakfast with a cup of coffee.

This place ought to have a higher score than 3/5 however it constantly closes early, usually an hour ahead of when it advertises it closes (closes around 6 occasionally when it is supposed to close at 7).Its a shame because they have genuinely good drinks, far better than Starbucks in nearly everything that Ive tried. But its even more frustrating to see the lights off and the guy/Lady inside mopping the floor an hour before its supposed to close as advertised on its own doors; and no it isnt holidays.

Average coffee shop. Employees were very friendly and the shop itself seemed very clean and welcoming. Breakfast sandwiches were very bland and expensive for what you recieved (a microwaved egg). Coffee was decent, not amazing but not bad. Wouldnt be my first choice, but definitely not horrible.

Very quaint place, quiet atmosphere, friendly baristas. The place is super clean and I even saw them checking temps and logging info in the back. The lounge is pretty comfortable. I wonder if they would host an open mic here. Awesome.

Bitter coffee, mediocre quality milk. I would love to be able to recommend them, but I really cant. Just make the trip to Dark Horse or Hawthorn Coffee if you want quality.

Met here for coffee one afternoon this week, it was pretty quiet but I enjoyed the atmosphere. I got a flavored latte and it came out quickly, I really enjoyed it too. The actual mug was a nice touch, and the foam on top was thick and frothy, a real treat. Would come back again for sure.

I used to come here for my coffee and I would ordered a latte.. I have not been here for a while and I went a couple days ago and they changed the way they make there latte.. it taste so bitter. I took two sips and had to throw it away..🙁 I don’t recommend the latte...

A quick stop for a coffee although the nonfat milk is long life not fresh. Not much selection of pastries added bonus of dog bone for your dog and a loyalty card

Nice, comfortable decor does not make up for the pre-made bitter coffee (French roast from s pump) and the unappealing vegetarian breakfast burrito. Did not like the potatoes mixed in. No flavor/bad flavor,; salsa or S and P did not help. Could not finish my burrito or my coffee. Also had to worry about staying longer than an hour and getting my car towed. Skip this one.

Milano coffee company is under new management. Furniture is different, inviting and warm. Friendly and fast service, the gals behind the counter are super nice and remember regular orders :) lots of outlets for your tech gadgets and they offer free WiFi to customers (fast WiFi!) the coffee and food are VERY good. Coffee does the job and tastes great, food portions are generous and lots of healthy options. If you like açaí bowls, you have got to come here. I ordered avocado toast with eggs and added tapatio, yum! OH and they have patio seating! Perfect spot for all!

Once upon a time Milano was a great spot for a good beverage, panini or salad and great atmosphere. Why that changed is a question for a smarter mind, I guess. I stop in once every six months to seek signs of good change, and I leave shaking my head.

Awesome coffe, awesome people.I am traveling through and tired of sitting in starbucks. I had an appt. Down the road and stopped to work on my computer to pass the time.Not only did they give me a parking pass they made sure I was comfortable and taken care of.

5 Stars for service, the two ladies i met were so accommodating and welcoming! by far best and fresh food I have ever tasted at a cafe. Alsocouches are really comfy i almost fell asleep waiting for a friend. On the other hand interesting people come in there they dont really bother me but its kinda distracting for sure sometimes theyll keep staring at you or keep pacing around you idk. But overall nice play to chill and eat a quick meal

Really cool place in the Rio Vista apartment complex on Rio San Diego Drive. I got a biscotti, a breakfast sandwich & their Thin Mint Mocha. The cashier was friendly & helpful, the food was good & the seating area was comfortable; they had a few couches as well as the usual tables & chairs. They even have WiFi so you can enjoy your food/drink while working on the Internet. I gave them 5 stars for those reasons plus the fact they‘re about 3 minutes from the trolley station & they have reusable mugs if you plan on staying; which is awesome for the eco-conscious [:)]. I may go back soon to try their lunch menu 😁

Ordered a breakfast burrito and simply asked for no cheese. I check my order and its filled with with cheese( allergic). Call milanos and get told hold for 10 minutes. Wait for over 20 mins until I decide to walk over and see there is literally 2 customers in the store. She starts yelling at me saying shes by herself and shell remake it. I tell her this place is a joke and its called multi tasking. If you cant handle phone orders dont take them and if cant handle 2 customers in your store you should find a new job..

I love this place. It is a great neighborhood coffee shop. Im happy to support it. The workers are alwaus friendly and happy to see you. Except one. Lol. I cane in once and she was sick. Coughing and hacking everywhere. I put in an order and she took my money coughing and hacking the whole time. When she went to the back to make my food i didnt see any plastic gloves go on or any hands being washed. The coughing and hacking continued the whole time she was making my sandwich. I was so gross out when she brought my food that i kindly took it to go and tossed it. In the trash as i walked out. Now i get the willies everytime i see thay particular cashier and i just leave before i order. That doesnt reflect on everyone else that works there. This place is lovely.
