Recently, my wife and I visited GTOC for our annual exam. First time with this office, but initial impression of the staff was very favorable. We were delighted to see that the office is equipped with modern digital equipment to perform the various tests required as part of the exam, including retinal scans. We found Dr. Huang to be very professional, and she answered any questions we had regarding the findings of the tests taken. We received updated prescriptions for eye glasses and for me, contact lenses. As part of the Total Vision network, our prior medical records were available on line, and this made this visit very productive with baseline results available for the doctor to review. Couple excellent professional care with a friendly and competent front office, we are looking forward to continuing with this new relationship.

Ive a patient at this clinic for 12 years. I started with Dr Bende, then Dr Wesling and now Dr Huang. Every single one were so nice, pleasant, helpful, and super friendly. They truly care for their patients and spend the time explaining any question. I really recommend this clinic to all my friends.

If you call to set something up they wont stop calling you. Ive never actually gone to an appointment here (initially set something up and cancelled) yet have received multiple phone calls about when I came in or if I wanted to set up another appointment. Each time Ive clarified that Ive never gone there and dont want to be called, yet I am still on their call list. Today I got another call and the person on the line was giggling and chatting with someone in the background. Please stop calling me, the constant follow ups are annoying and as of today, unprofessional.

I have been going to Golden Triangle Optometric Center for many years, but Yesterday was my first time meeting with Dr. Huang and a couple of her staff. Dr. Huang is amazingly awesome!!! She did not only appear to be passionate and very good at the job but really taking her time with me and my care. So did all her staff. My last year eye exam appointment was with Dr. Wesling at the same location, and he was very good too. Very satisfied with with the care and service this last visit with Dr. Huang and her staff!

I just saw Dr. Huang, who is new to the office. She is absolutely wonderful! She was thorough and went over various aspects of eye health, which no one had done before. She is also very nice and made me feel relaxed right away. My new contacts are great (I wrote this without reading glasses!) The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the equipment has been updated. All in all a great place.

All the staff in front office was very friendly and was ready to answer any questions I may have asked. Dr Huang was very thourgh in her exam and took her time with each procedure. She allowed me to go at my pace for my answers. I was very pleased and would come back again.

Dr. Huang is an extremely caring and knows her stuff! I have not gotten an eye exam in a while and she made mine insightful and made amazing conversation. I would 10/10 recommend her if you’re looking for an optometrist in San Diego. Golden Triangle will be my go to office for the years to come!

I have been going to Golden Triangle Optometric Center for many many years and I was seeing Dr. Bende in the beginning for years and she was awesome, but then she left. I was a little nervous about who would be my optometrist after that, but I had nothing to worry about because Dr. Wesling is very professional, thorough and also just as awesome. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I had to get new glasses since my current pair was pretty bad. Angie was amazing, she was helping me pick out glasses and asked what kind of style glasses I was looking for. After my eye exam, she had already picked out a ton of glasses that she thought I would like. I didnt get glasses in the past because I had a hard time finding glasses myself that I liked, but Angie helped this time and she had a great selection for me to choose from. She was very thorough in getting me the best deals possible too. Im super excited and looking forward to my new glasses. Overall I highly recommend this Optometric Center.

I went there about a year ago in an urgent situation to get new glasses since the old ones were broken. I decided to get examined for contact lenses as well. They told me that the cost for the examination is about $180 which includes unlimited trials until I find the contact lenses that I am comfortable with. I received a set of 5 pairs to try for a while. Unfortunately, I became very busy for a while and couldnt find a time to go back and ask for a new set. But, when I did, they told me that the 90-days trial period has ended! This is really unfair since I was never told about this period. If I knew, I would have found a time to go there earlier. They were kind to give me another set of 5 to get me going for a while, which is why I am not giving a 1-star review. However, I do not feel that I was treated fairly in this deal. I also bought the glasses from them, which turned out to be a lot more expensive that I thought it should be. They did fine on the glasses. The problem was that the only decent looking pair in the store was also probably the most expensive one. I recently had a chance to buy a pair for my wife from a wholesale seller, which we all know, and the overall cost was only 1/5 of what I paid here and at almost the same quality. I wish I knew about this back then.

Lori is a really sweet doctor and takes good care of your eyes. Staff here are really awesome and they care about their patients. I had such a good experience for the past 1 1/2 years.

After getting my eyes checked at one of the big chain stores in my last city it was nice to be able to experience the personal service of a neighborhood optical shop. Dr. Wesling was very thorough and did a great job of explaining every step of the exam procedure. I am glad that I opted for the high-res scans of my retinas, as he really explained in detail what he was looking for and how this imaging would be helpful in diagnosing changes in my eyes over time. I also appreciated the great service of the outer-office staff in choosing and fitting new frames, as my brain tends to freeze up when confronted with a massive wall of hundreds of frames typical of the large stores. After a brief discussion we started with a very manageable selection of four frames, and I quickly cycled through and made my choice. Finally, they accepted my vision insurance without any trouble at all and I feel my copays were quite reasonable given the quality and level of service.

The staff know what they are doing. Theres no unnecessary wait, they take you in right away and the doctor is very thorough, thumbs up!

Ive been with Dr. Bende for several years. She and her staff have been terrific.

Dr.Bende failed to diagnose a serious issue with my sons eyes. When confronted she showed no remorse.
