Just had an appointment today and it was my first vision exam ever so I didn’t know what to expect, but I had such a pleasant experience at Invision Optometry. It’s definitely a first class facility all around from the set up to the staff members. Andrea took care of me and was so nice getting help by her and the other staff members. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for an optometrist or anything vision related! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The office is a first class facility. Staff is very friendly, extremely patient and helpful. Doctor Kling is the best! I have been seeing him for 15 years with excellent results. Presently, I developed some vision challenges due to my age. He diligently worked to get my prescription as perfect as possible under these circumstances. He cares about his patients, and takes the time and effort to ensure you have the best optometry experience for your vision needs.

This place is awesome. It’s in a very unassuming location that looks like an office building, although the show room and the entire facility is very nice. The staff is super professional, accommodating and pleasant to work with. They accommodated me on short notice since I’m moving out of town and we’re very patient with my contact lens training. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr. Tu for about a decade - started with him at Downtown Optometry. I always have a great experience with him and his staff - at previous location and here at Invision as well. He always does a thorough exam and is tracking my eye health over years, which makes me feel confident he would recognize and address any vision concerns well in advance of major issues developing. Recently I worked with an optician, Nancy, to get new frames and had an excellent experience. Really love the frames she helped me select - and the follow-up fitting was a great experience. The style and fit are perfect; the prescription is accurate as well. I also appreciate the measures they’re taking with COVID-19: appointment only, call ahead upon arrival, masks required, temperature screening before entry into office. All these steps make me feel as protected as possible during the pandemic. I would certainly recommend Invision Optometry to anyone.

I was very impressed with the courteous service of the receptionist, Dr Russo and her assistant Terry. All of them were professional and answered any questions that I had. It is a very modern and clean office that is spread out so you do not feel confined.

I would have appreciated a call saying the Dr whom I scheduled with was not in prior to be assigned to another Dr.Based on a referral for a possible procedure I would like to talk to my Dr. I dont want to pay another visit as he was who I wanted to see originally and I would have been happy to postpone had I know he was not there that day.

Doctor Michael Kling and his assistants are excellent. They spent a huge amount of time working out the issues with my vision and contact lenses. I have been to some excellent ophthalmologists in the past, but Dr. Kling and his staff sorted out the best prescription for multi-focal contact lenses.

One of the most thorough eye exam I have ever received. Staff was so nice and welcoming and definitely informative. I had a really great experience!

I actually enjoy my visits to the eye doctor here. The visit starts with a friendly check in, followed by washing hands with the technician (yesterday was Mya--she was excellent) in side-by-side sinks (great cleanliness protocols on site), followed by quick scans with the latest equipment. Next is a the consultation. My doctor, Dr. Ordonez, is funny and engaging, and provides clear recommendations for me, without pressure. She cares about her patients and their health, and it shows.

The worst waste of time- I only wanted an eye exam and order an overpriced pair of glasses. Anywhere in the fraud riddled world of American health insurance I would have been in and out in an hour tops-. I dropped in to confirm the prescription in my new eye glasses was correct as I had my exam at Invision Optometry but bought the glasses and lenses elsewhere. The staff was very accommodating. I just wish Invision Optometry offered more low cost choices for frames.

I needed contacts lens pretty badly so I called and booked a rare same-day appointment to Invision Optometry and my experience was as smooth and joyful as can be! The front desk was really patient with me as I told her about my insurance circumstance and the technician was really thorough and friendly too! I wish I had gotten their names since their customer service was top notch. When Dr. Tu came in to explain the results from the scan, he was extremely kind, patient, very easy to understand, and knew what he was talking about. I was in and out with a new contact lens fitting, prescription, and sample in one hour. The whole place was clean, well lit, and sanitized often. I usually dread getting my eyes checked up but will be looking forward to my next visit because of how comfortable and easy it was. Thank you!

I have not been to an optometrist in a few years and things worked out for me to get an appointment at Invision Optometry. First off, they place was very clean, lit up just enough and comfortable to be in. The technician Chewy greeted me and was very well informed on what we were going to be doing and she expressed it to me, which I liked. So it was not business as usual, it was personal. Then Dr. Tu came in and made it even more personal by giving me a full rundown on the images that were taken of my eyes. He showed me things about my eyes that needed my attention and explained in full detail on what was going on and what I should do. So to me, this was not a routine eye exam. It was detailed, informative and something for me to take action on. Thank you Invision for a great team and a great experience

I’ve been going here the past 3 years and I’ve had a great experience until recently. I first want to say that the support staff here are amazing, thus the 3 stars. The receptionists and technicians are great- very personable and friendly. I don’t like how every year they try to change my contacts to a “preferred” brand even when I tell them the ones I currently use are great. When asked about the pricing, Dr. Ordonez just says, “oh I don’t know, they’ll tell you” and it ends up being $300 more a year than the ones I currently use.I was also told that I had to come back because they were concerned about my “dry eyes” even though I told them I don’t really have symptoms of dry eyes. Tests were done and I was told that they recommended lipofilm. When asked about the price and if it was covered by insurance, the doctor said the same thing, “I don’t know, they’ll tell you”. First off, as a health care provider you should know the ballpark price of procedures that you recommend patients. Especially procedures that are never covered by insurance and are around $900.Secondly, if a patient states that it’s not a major concern, it would make more sense to recommend trying at home remedies first (which they did do briefly at the end of my appointment) instead of pushing an expensive procedure and making me feel like I just left an uncomfortable sales meeting.

I cannot speak highly enough of the services provided by Invision Optometry. Friendly, attentive, professional and prioritize getting the job done right above everything else.

I’ve been a patient/customer with Invision for about two years and have primarily seen them for contact lenses. Recently, I discovered that one of the boxes of daily lenses that I purchased through Invision last year was full of defective lenses (that’s 90 lenses for one eye!). The manufacturer will only replace/refund unopened boxes, which didn’t help me at all. I called Invision and explained the issue and within a few days they provided me with a brand new box of lenses (I had to give them the defective ones that I had saved, for documentation). It meant a lot to me that they were willing to work outside of the manufacturer’s warranty to make me a happy customer. They also do a great job of ensuring that their customers are able to take full advantage of rebate programs (I think I end up getting something like $200 off my annual supply of lenses) that significantly lower the cost of services not covered by insurance. In the past, my eye doctors offices never cared if I got these rebates so they often failed to provide the documentation needed from the day of the exam/sale. Invision is on top of it, and everyone who works there is super friendly.

They don’t send out emails to let you know about your appointment. It’s okay for them to be 20 minute late but you can’t me 10 minutes late to your appointment.

I have been going to Invision Optometry for several years, seeing Dr. Kling after my previous Optometrist retired. Always an enjoyable comprehensive exam and consult. I have extreme near-sightedness corrected by Lasik so retinal photographs are very important to me to ensure eye health. I would strongly endorse Dr. Kling and his staff.

I just moved to San Diego and was looking for an eye doctor I could visit for my annual exam.It was really easy to book an appointment on Invision Optometry’s site.As soon as I arrived for my appointment, the front desk gal was radiating positivity. She was so nice and offered me water/tea/coffee.I got called up for my appointment a few minutes later, and it was a breeze.Dr. Kling was honest and helped me understand all of my eye tests.Thanks for a great experience. They’re now my go-to eye doctor!

I would like to bring to your attention the continued harassment of phone calls voicemails and texts about fake appointments. I stopped going to this office because they moved and were no longer walking distance from my job. I cancelled my appointment in advanced and they confirmed. Then the harassment started. I starting receiving, texts, emails and voicemails about new fake appointments that the office made for me. I texted and email to stop this and they confirmed. Today 3/6, I received a voicemail and text again about another fake appointment. The main issue is their text threat that if I do not contact them, they will charge me $50 cancelling fee. How can a company charge you a fee for a fake appointment they are making for you? Stop doing this and please leave me alone! I do not want to see your office or eye doctor.

My husband and I both need glasses and eye exams. Very happy with the friendly service. I received my glasses very quickly and my husband even got contacts that hes said never felt better (and hes been through a lot). they are very knowledgeable and very helpful to make sure our insurance worked. I highly recommend.

I had an emergency eye issue and Dr. Gross was so helpful and nice. She seemed genuinely caring. Made me feel so much better in a scary situation. Thank you Dr. Gross.

My daughter and I have been coming to Invision Optometry for at least 4 years, following the recommendation of a long-time customer. This is a one-stop-shop for your eyecare needs!So far, most visits have been great. The Receptionist is always friendly! She promptly greets us, offers beversges and lets us know someone will be with us shortly.There is a large window where the Assistants/ Technicians sit - from my experience, they are always watching for patients to arrive and promptly come to get us and begin the exam process before the Doctor takes over. I will warn that you should watch out for the upsell as they have equipment for special exams, which can be annoying... You can simply decline extra services if you decide.After the exam is complete, theres a sales area and Associate/ Technician, which allows for picking out glasses and frames. Their selection is expansive, with hundreds of options and various price points to choose from. Again, its best to know your insurance coverages, budget and check the prices of frames before falling in love with them as this would make for a much more pleasant experience. You can also ask to have your prescription printed and shop around.Overall, the staff is friendly and the office is nicely decorated/ set up to create an efficient flow. You meet with at least 4 people during each visit, so be prepared to be at the office for at least 1 hour.

I have been a patient with Dr. Kling for the last 10 years. The staff and doctors at the office have always provided me with top notch care. Had Dr. Dexter last time I was at Invision Optometry and got great care from her too. I have never had a bad experience at Invision Optometry and plan to continue my care there.I never order glasses without knowing what my insurance will pay for. Good looking glasses that fit right can be expensive. Had progressives from Costco that felt like tunnel vision when I tried to see with them and returned them to Costco. Invision optometrys progressives were more expensive but gave me the field of vision I wanted. They were worth the extra dollars. Got really cool Pro Design Denmark frames with the progressive lenses and I am a happy camper.

Dr. Phil is the best Optometrist in the business. He is patient, caring and extremely knowledgeable. I have been in business with Dr. Phil for almost 4 years and he is someone you feel glad to recommend to friends and family. Thank you for all you do for us.

What a truly amazing group of people. I broke my glasses while in San Diego for a vacation and they all were so kind and friendly. They worked hard to get them fixed up so that I could enjoy my vacation.

I’ve been going here for a number of years. Dr. Kling has always been a top drawer professional with an efficient staff and great service. Good turnaround for new glasses. I don’t do contacts, wear jewelry or watches, but I do spend time and effort picking out frames. I always find what I want here. Nice selection in a variety of styles. I like their RayBan, Salt and Izod selections but there are also some pretty sweet European designs too from Denmark and Germany. What’s also nice is that they can order you additional sample frames to try if you dont see exactly what you want.

The Dr. is great but the staff is not very friendly. One in particular. She seems like she does not like her job. I would recommend you find another place around the neighborhood ;)

The staff is nice. I have seen both the male and female Drs. Both and the assistants are very nice, and thorough. My only complaint is that even with my VSP coverage the prices are a bit higher than at my past eye doctors. I guess I mostly pay the price because I feel they check my eyes out without rushing, it is pretty easy to get an appointment without waiting weeks, and it is close to home. The selection of frames could be a little bigger, and perhaps a few more budget friendly, quality selections.

Update: Invision has been proactive in resolving this problem. I will continue to shop there. Quality work. When the rebate comes through, Ill update more.Criminal Behavior. Bait and Switch. Rip off artists. I came for reading glasses. Super cute sales lady will suggest progressive lenses. Youll say I hear they dont work well for everyone and shell say Try it RISK FREE. Ill switch it if you dont like it!Then when you do switch because progressive lenses suck, youll get reading glasses AT THE COST OF PROGRESSIVE LENSES!They wont credit the difference. I paid $1200 for two pairs of reading glasses! Doh! See you in Small Claims Court. Dont mess with Retirees.

This consistently is one of the best experience in a doctors office. Today, Alex made sure that my contacts were ready to be picked up and even called me the night before to confirm. He really coordinates and gets things done in a timely and efficient manner. He humor is infectious and yet he knows when to give good instruction. This is great service, in my opinion. I work in the Hospitality field and Alex is terrific.Also, Brittany at the front desk is wonderful. She always has a smile and greets-each gusset so cordially. She is a great ambassador for as a first impression.This is my 5th or 6th year with Dr. Kling and his team. I will not ever think of going anywhere else.NOTE: to the SD Medical offices- This Optometry center should be a training course on how to make patients feel honored.GB

I just received a phone call from the office manager in this office regarding a bill a few months ago. I have never been talked to so rudely in my entire life. She pronounced my last name as whatever that is. I know my last name is long, but really? Was this a prank? Been to this office twice. The doctors were okay.They have the good technology, but in some ways you do feel rushed. There will be no way i will ever step foot in this office again and wouldnt recommend other. Unacceptable as i told her.

Dr. Kling and Staff are great. From great coffee in the waiting room to courteous, professional and wonderful eye care in the exam rooms. Look forward to going back every year.
