EVERYONE, from the front desk to the Doctor to the folks helping choose frames, were the nicest and most helpful people I could have asked for.This is only the third year Ive ever needed glasses, but this optometrist provided a noticeably better experience than the previous two I tried (in Del Mar and Rancho Bernardo).

The people at the counter were very friendly and knowledgeable. The assistant was professional and courteous. The Optometrist explained everything

I have been going to this optometrist since the early 2000’s, Dr. Guiang and his staff are the best! Ive never had a bad experience with them, even moving to escondido I’m still willing to drive down to get my glasses, do my annual eye exam etc with them and only them. The other optometrists on staff are great as well, I always recommend them to anyone who asks! Thank you for taking care of me and my eyes and the many, many years of great service!

Amazing staff, helpful and friendly. One of the most wonderful experiences Ive had. The staff was also very knowledgeable and the doctor would not let me leave until she knew for sure my eyes were okay and safe from any possible damage they might have missed. I will be exclusively going here.

Both optometrists are great! Staff is also great in person and on the phone. If you leave a message there is something to be desired in the way of customer service in their response time, but that is my only complaint. Im not going anywhere else.

Look no further for optometry care! The folks here are so kind, thorough, and knowledgeable. My appointment was easy to schedule, their office is easy to find, I was welcomed right away, my whole exam went quickly and Dr. Guiang and his team talked me through every part of the exam in a way that made me really interested in my own ocular health. Their frame selection is extensive and the Optician helping me was knowledgeable and thorough. I can’t say enough good things about them!

The office staff was very friendly and patient with my young kids. We felt very welcomed to be seen as new patients. Dr. Guiang was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain all of his findings. He was very personable and interacted with my kids in a way to help them understand what was going on and what he was looking at. We will definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking.

They have a history of your progress or can provide an honest assessment of your vision exam..They are patient in analyzing your insurance provider so they can recommend the cheapest value.Their equipment are state of the art.Their covid compliant is imaculate!

Very professional, and friendly practice. I highly recommend as a first time customer! Dr. Orlando Guiang was extremely personable and Well-spoken. He did a fantastic job explaining all the details regarding eye health and vision.

I debated how many stars to give, because my initial experience here was wonderful. The staff are all very kind and personable, but what was really disappointing was the fact that they would not honor their mistake. Due to this, I won’t be coming back. The dr had made an error in my prescription, and I wasn’t able to return my contacts to Costco due to the package being opened. The dr was kind enough to give me some samples and was apologetic. I understand that I did not purchase from them, but Costco had the same exact brand that was more affordable for me so I went there. I used my insurance, and because of that, that money is lost and my insurance won’t cover another box. I asked them if they would be able to give me a box of just that one prescription that they made the mistake on, and they wouldn’t. That was disappointing enough for me not to go back.

Dr. Guiang performs a thorough exam and finds optimal solutions. He takes the time to explain and address any inquiries. Staff is friendly, courteous and professional.

Dr. Guiang saved my eye’s sight....Came in for a routine eye’s exam. He was able to detect a retina tear in progress with the Optomap retina scan. Dr. Guiang promptly preferred me to the specialist for an emergency laser surgery. Thank you for saving my eye’s sight.

The people at the front desk are useless. Ive called trying to make an appointment and each time the response is that they will call me back within 15 minutes; its been 24 hours. Ive called 4 times trying to get an ETA and just to be put on hold each time and now they have stopped answering all together.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

I started taking the family here this year. Everyone was great. Couple perscriptions didnt change or barely changed and the doctor never pushed for buying new glasses like most places. (Even though we opted to still buy new) Very sweet lady in the front was so patient with my daughter who really wants contacts but cant get them in! Loved it here! We will be back. 6 eye exams and 4 glasses cost me about 300$. I have good coverage but at other places Ive spent well over 500$ before! This is our new eye doctor for hopefully many more years!

Never returning to this place again. Multiple iterations of wrong prescriptions. Wasted time and money. Instant headache and nausea when using contacts and prescription sun glasses. Instead of acknowledging error, Dr insisted that the prescription is correct and that my eye sight was elastic and changes from visits to visit!!! Scheduled a follow up visit and Dr again insisted that prescription is correct and gave new of trial lenses. Tried them and they were ok, then called to order contacts and Dr said BTW the prescription hasn’t changed!! Once again refusing to acknowledge prescription error. cross checked trial contacts with ordered contacts and there was significant change. Unprofessional attitude and justifications for a clear Dr error!!!

Dr. Lucia Millet was great. She has a sense of humor, is very nice and is thorough, though fast. The frames here are very expensive and out of my price range, but they had no problem giving me my prescription so I could take it somewhere else to buy glasses. I will definitely return here for my eye exam in the future.

I just dropped in to see if they could help me reattach a lens that had fallen out (of glasses I had gotten somewhere else). The very courteous woman helped me immediately, cleaned my glasses as well and asked if she could check the back-up glasses I was wearing to see if those lenses were in tight. Amazing service and kindness. I’ll be back.

Dr. Guiang has been my eye doctor for going on 4 years now, and Im super happy with their services. Very nice staff and a great clean office. Lens prices can be a bit up there, but most everything is brand name.

I have been going here to see Dr. G since 1998 and could not be happier. They have a genuinely caring staff that really helps their patients. This place is friendly, warm, and respectful. They take the time to explain the tests and any findings from the exam and compare them to past results so you can see first hand any changes. My last visit was with Dr. Millet and she was awesome. I felt she really cared about making sure my next glasses would have the best prescription possible, she had a great sense of humor and she even helped me pick out my frames. I am a very satisfied patient that will be returning and recommending this office to friends and family!

Horrible and extremely unprofessional!! Do not visit and go to Dr. Denis T Iwamoto down the street. They made multiple medical errors, are overpriced, and are completely rude. They even asked me to change my review. Dont trust the high ratings here!
