I can say with absolute certainty that my experience here with Dr Pillar is one of the best patient experiences Ive ever had.I sustained an eye injury while out of town after a post-wedding tussle with a plastic straw (stay away from the Mai Tais kids) and they were able to quickly get me in and pick up care where it left off. Dr Pillar was really communicative with my initial eye doctor in order to get all the info. As with some doctors, it can feel like theyre trying to get you in and out as quick as possible so it was nice to know she was putting in extra time and effort to get a better picture of what was wrong with my eye. She was then able to get me in on daily appointments for about two weeks. It was obvious that she was really invested in providing the best care, and frankly was much better than the two jabronis I saw before her.Not sure how many people are raving about surgery, but the surgery center she uses has a great staff and that experience was top notch as well. Great reggae playlist too before and during surgery, youre not getting that at a lot of places.Overall cant recommend Dr Pillar enough, indisputably great at her job.

Dr Feldman and his staff are incredible! I was a mess when I walked in to his office, one of the worst cases of dry eye he had seen, (I had been told by an optometrist just do drops for dry eye and that I was not a candidate for vision correction either.) That was unacceptable. Desperately seeking to improve what was becoming and altered lifestyle. Dr Feldman took lots of time educating me on my eyes and helped resolve my dry eye, not only that, I was a candidate for vision correction. Yes, I was a special case but it could safely be done. I am 3 weeks out from surgery, my vision is amazing and getting better every day!. This is from the girl that has worn glasses all her life. I cant thank you all enough, its been a long road to get here. Dr. Feldman is THE kindest doctor! My mother has macular degeneration and was having urgent left eye issues on Saturday with loss of sight in her eye within just a couple hours. At this time, she was an admitted patient at Sharp Memorial Hospital. About 10 days earlier, she had loss of vision in her right eye due to a retina bleed that caused a detachment. Her symptoms in the left eye were exactly what occurred in the right eye that resulted in blindness. The hospital Optholomologist, Dr. Eck, saw her that morning but refused to come back to examine her or perform a pressure test. We were then discharged from the hospital. (Imagine going blind in the hospital and the doctor, not only refusing to examine you, but discharging you.)In trying to contact her specialist, the after hours call center directed us to Dr. Feldman. My mother was not a patient of his and had never been to his office. Dr. Feldman compassionately met us at his office. We went directly from Sharp Memorial hospital to his office at 9:00pm on a Saturday night. He gave the most thorough eye exam! He took time to explain his findings and express concern regarding a potential issue that had not been tested for at the hospital nor with the specialist.Dr. Feldman gave us his personal cell phone number and said to call if anything changes. He cared for my mother as if she were his mother. He perfectly applied The Golden Rule and we are so grateful and appreciative.We have had contact since that evening with Dr. Feldman and his staff. His staff is just as amazing as he is. Andrea has answered questions and shared pertinent information about my mothers pending eye surgery that, unfortunately, will have to be done elsewhere. All of this care and concern, while technically, she isnt even his patient!I have already been recommending Dr. Feldman and his office to all my friends. I recommend that anyone looking for an amazing eye doctor, one who goes above and beyond, and one who treats you like family, go directly to Dr. Feldman at One to One Lasik. Dr. Feldman masterfully implanted a ReStore lens in each eye after removing a cataract. The operations were performed at the Hillcrest Surgical Center one-month apart. I could see well out of the eye with the operation within 6 hours and nearly perfectly within 3 days. I would recommend this operation to anyone with cataracts and wish I had done it sooner.

One of the best decisions in 2016 was choosing Dr. Sanford Feldman to be my eye surgeon. I am a pharmaceutical sales rep and I meet hundreds of doctors a year. So I believe I can truly say that I know a good doctor when I meet them and Dr. Feldman is truly in the top 1% of doctors who really care about their patients. From the moment I walked into his office, I felt completely taken care of by the staff. Everyone was so kind and they treated me like an honored guest in their home. Then I met Dr. Feldman for a consultation. He spent an hour with me going over the type of vision I had and what to expect from surgery. When I spoke to Dr. Feldman, I could feel that he really loves being a doctor and really enjoys taking the absolute best care of patients. He was so thorough and patient with me. He answered all of my questions and told me what I could expect from surgery. I was nervous to have surgery but I knew I could trust Dr. Feldman. The day before the surgery he spent another long visit with me going over everything I needed to do for surgery. On the day of my surgery, Dr. Feldman met me at the surgery center and answered any last minute questions I had. Going through the surgery was much easier than I anticipated. Dr. Feldman guided me through the surgery and I felt completely taken care of during the entire process. After the surgery, he told me I could call him anytime day or night if I had a problem. I received lasik surgery from Dr. Feldman back in September and I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful he made the whole experience. Im a 26 year old male who enjoys the outdoors and lasik was the best thing Ive ever done. I never have to mess with contacts or glasses when Im out in the middle of nowhere anymore.Everything was clearly explained and he always made himself available to answer any and all questions I had. Lasik can be a frightening procedure to undergo, however, I felt comfortable every step of the way.I was told that right after the surgery I could expect to feel a burning or itchy feeling in my eyes and to rest for 4-6 hours after the surgery to ease the pain. Not once did I feel any of that. In fact, I could tell right when I got home from the surgery that my eyesight was perfect and drove myself to the check up appointment the very next morning. I was back on the lake fishing 2 days later.Dont be fooled by the cheap lasik some doctors can offer. Dr. Feldman uses only the highest quality and state-of-the-art equipment and he has a 100% success rate. Sometimes cheap is good but not when it comes to your eyes. As a still full time practicing dentist, my eyesight is obviously very important to me. When I learned I needed cataract surgery for both eyes, I was very concerned. As a result I did a great deal of research as to the surgeon I wanted the entrust might future eyesight to. I sought several opinions and was completely at ease and confident after my first consultation with Dr. Feldman. He spent an incredible amount of time with me answering all my questions after he had explained the pros and cons of all the options available to me. After establishing my expectations, Dr. Feldman recommended the Restor lens for both eyes. I went through multiple tests allowing Dr. Feldman to calculate and recalculate, literally, dozens of time the proper correction for me. As I was a previous lasik patient, I learned that Restor lens correction is usually contraindicated. But Dr. Feldman and I agreed to, after his exhaustive testing and calculating, go for it. And he hit a homerun. Except for safety glasses at work, I am glasses/contacts free for the first time in forty years. As I stood in the surgery parking lot, refusing to enter the building, one would have thought that I was a child instead of a 76-year-old, still working, grandmother. Id been worried sick for a month about having my cataract removed. Did I need it? YES. Were all the procedures thoroughly explained by Dr. Sanford Feldman and his techs many times? YES. Was he an opthalmologist who had successfully completed more than 15,000 cataract operation (I always ask, How many...)? YES. Did he tell me that I was the one who had to decide when the time was right? YES. Was I having trouble reading road signs and dealing with bright lights? YES. Much to his credit, Dr. Feldman assured me that I didnt have to have the surgery at this time, if I wasnt ready, and repeated that as I was entering the operating room. He understood my fears, went through my chart again (significant cataracts, legally blind in bright lights...), and gave me permission to back out. I didnt.THE RESULT WAS AMAZING! I had no pain during the procedure to remove the cataract and insert a bi-focal lens, little discomfort in the days and nights that followed, and an outcome that far exceeded my expectations about what I could see both near and far. Dr. Feldman has years of experience, is constantly updating his understanding of the newest technology and techniques, and is a gentle, nurturing human being whose staff (Trevi, Polly, Rose, and Janis were the ones I worked with) follow in his footsteps. My first question, when he entered the examination room on my five-day check-up was, HOW SOON CAN YOU DO MY OTHER EYE?

I just had a second cataract removed. My first surgery was thru a major hospital but insurance changed and now I had to start all over.. When I started experiencing stuff in my left eye in addition to steadily deteriorating eyesight I got concerned enough to want to see a professional. I called a couple who had both had recent cataracts removed and they highly recommended Dr.Sanford Feldman (One to One Lasik). What a gift that turned out to be! Amazingly I was seen the very same day I called.. Dr. Feldman suggested that my cataract needed to come out. I was leaving for an extended road trip (with husband and puppy!) so time was of the essence. Bingo! Appointments (pre ops, surgery, post ops) were scheduled and met. What a painless process! Best of all, even with prior PRK 20 years ago, which complicates any further surgery, the results were hugely impressive. Dr. Feldmans choice of a lens for my eye was spot on! I couldnt be happier.
