My barber was not vaccinated for covid, something which I was told right at the end of my cut. I am surprised that you are allowed to work with the public without a vaccination at this point. I guess you guys get to run your business however you like and I get to never come back ever again, which is an option I will be exercising.I didnt love my haircut, to say the least, but thats not what the 1 star is for. You know what its for.
It should be known that these guys DO NOT trim beards anymore. It’s just haircuts.
I wandered in around noon and was immediately given an appointment. Great service from beginning to end. Madison did an awesome job on my haircut. Thank you for brightening my day too!
Generally overpriced for what you get. I have been coming here for years but the service has definitely declined - even before the pandemic.
Great place for a guys haircut or beard trim. Modern barbershop with old school vibe. Walk-ins are hard especially on weekends, but you can usually book an appt a day or 2 before and get in. I go to Chang, nice guy and he does a great job and takes care of me each time.Making an appt online or with app for any location
The straight razor neck shave was 🔥! I really like my haircut and beard trim. Fellow has some great products as well. Great place to pick up some beard and hair grooming products, cologne, etc. I plan to be black!
If youre craving a no-nonsense haircut by some top-notch professionals then Fellow Barber is the place to be. Its a bit of a wait for a first-come first-serve service spot but its well worth it, especially when a Mens Haircut is only $50. Thats a pretty good deal for SF, and its located in the trendy Mission district so go grab a coffee and stop your whining about waiting 40mins.
A fancy, urban barbershop designed to cater to the upscale gentleman. Decor is purposefully weathered and grungy, for a slightly time-warp feel. I was drawn in by the impressive selection of soaps and products, displayed openly and in easy view of passers-by on the street, and purchased a locally-produced (in CA) soap as a gift--the recipient loved it.
Great first time experience. Place is open, airy, bright, clean and relaxed. Gavin had a great sense of what I wanted and gave me one of the best cuts Ive ever had... Fast too. Could not have been better. Five stars.
Excellent barber shop! Was taken care of right away as a walk-in, and the haircut was superb.
My visit at Fellow Barber was a desaster. The barber definitely was not skilled, as his colleague put it he was responsible for a disconnect of my hair. Never again will I go there. I find it irresponsible of Fellow Barber to let somebody cut hair who is either completely new in his job or does not have the proper skills.
Clean and modern barber shop. I went in for the first time and was paired with Leo, who over-delivered on what I described to him. Great attention to detail. Will be back.
Always reliable for a solid haircut. Hot eucalyptus towel at the end of the cut are pretty great. Unfortunately always reliable for a long wait too, but worth it. Lots of great options around to kill time at least.
After trying different hair stylists, I decided to go to a barber shop instead. This place is very cool, very San Franciscan. The good thing is that you have options to chose from, not only one person, if your preferred barber is not there you can select another one. Just make sure you make time to walk-in and wait as reservations are not available. Price is ok, could be more affordable for sure but the service you get is awesome, so I guess it makes sense.
Great feel to this place. But most importantly, the stylists are talented, fast and friendly. Awesome service.
I usually find myself shopping 5 to 10 different barbers when I move somewhere before I get one I can at least tolerate, but since coming back to SF from NYC this past year, Ive only had to make one stop to find a barber I can actually more than just tolerate - Allie! Highly recommend.
Great haircut from Barber Rob and a fun experience. Walked in at 20 minutes til close just to check the place out and they worked me in anyway. Friendly staff and class act all around. Highly recommended.
Deo is a rockstar!
One of the best cuts of my life. Never experienced a proper hot towel, warm shaving cream and straight edge razor treatment before. Just wish they would take appointments.
Pricy but good barber. Feel like they are disappointed if you just get a normal haircut. Barbers can vary in personality so suggest you find your favorite and stick with them.
If youre willing to pay top dollar for a haircut, they will give you a very good one here. Make sure to book an appointment online or youll be waiting until its time for your next haircut.
Basically a Super Cuts with nice decor. Waited two hours for what turned out to be a 10 minute haircut that looks pretty bad. Guy just cut it to a length without trying to actually style it. Will not return.
Definitely over hyped for a barber. Worth the price but not sure about the wait. Need to show up to get a time, come back in 1-3 hours and then wait around 30-45 minutes for your turn...really?
Booked online, confirmed the appointment the next day. Showed up and was rudely greeted. I left after 15 mins of waiting after my scheduled appointment time. Ill take my business somewhere else
Definitely not a walkin spot, they seem more interested in self image instead of customer service, good cut though!
This place is the best place Ive ever been to😨 go there and ask for Allie
The cuts are good but their booking system is no existent so to get a hair cut you have to log in online first thing in the morning and get a random window of an hour some time during the day which could take 30-45 min.
I used to have a love/hate relationship with Fellow Barber; I loved the great haircuts Id had here from a couple of their stylists and hated the fact that I wasnt able to make an appointment with the one stylist in particular that I really liked. But, theyve recently started up a beta for an online check-in system. You cant make an appointment, but you can check-in online with your preferred stylist in advance, rather than having to come to the storefront just to get a spot in line and then come back an hour later for a haircut, which obviously doesnt work unless you live close by. So, now I can appreciate Fellow Barber for what it is, which is a great place to get a haircut in a beautifully designed storefront.Edit: The appointment system is broken again. Wasnt able to make a reservation with someone Id seen in the past, ended up with some rando and, no surprise, a disaster of a haircut. How hard is it in 2015 to just let customers make an appointment with someone they know gives good haircuts. How hard. Why cant Fellow Barber manage that.
Pricier and pricier every few months. Decent haircuts but the facade of hip wears thin as did my patience with multiple cancelled appointments.
Great place for a pampering and straight razor shave. Reservations only taken in person but otherwise excellent service.
Had a great close knife shave. Friendly atmosphere and very professional staff!
Talented staff you can trust to do great work
Good haircut - shorter waits if you check in before you arrive.
Ive probably had my best haircut ever in this place!
Always a great haircut or beard trim in a cozy establishment.
Great, beautiful place for a haircut and a shave. Bit costly, but you get what you pay for.
Excellent haircut! Friendly place, easy online reservation system.
Great place for a haircut!
Everything has been working just great in the past, It’s been a very hard year for me, I lost my Mother Dec 1st and then my Father took his life March 10th all this year, it has been a very difficult time in my life and much a journey for me. July 15th, I made a call at 9,9:30 and was answered by Matthew, I wanted to see what time my guy was going to be in today and to make an appointment as I come all the way from the East bay, The phone was answered by Matthew explained to me that Fellow Barber has a new website and I could go there and make my appointment and would not need to call in, I explained that I really loved how I just make a call and was able to get in, I have 24 stores that I over see and sometimes it is not possible to go on line, Matthew not only explained it to me 4 times, but 5 times, he was just not understanding or compassionate as to where I was coming from and was not listening to me. He only wanted to make sure that I would goto the website and make my feature appointments, I explained that my life is very hard right now. And expressed to Matthew that should go else where, I asked to speak to the owner and he stated he is on vacation for 2 weeks, I then called and asked for Manager and was told to leave a message for a Manager to call me back and called twice, still no call back, I then called today, and was told if the Manager wants to call me back he will, not very promising. I have never been so saddened by the customer service I have received from Fellow Barber. To the point Ive broken down and cried as I finally found the right person to cut my hair, now I must start all over again as this business does not care about the person. I also had to end the call with Matthew as he was not hearing me and wanted to keep me feeling as I had done something wrong. I’m not sure where to go from here, but if this is the customer service I am going to receive, I have no words!
Excellent experience and haircut! Worth the wait!
Have never gone, but looks sick...
The beard trim was totally crocket and the haircut was okay. One more overrated place in the Mission I guess.
Hello do you sell haircut machines?
Friendly, good haircut, nice space
Great place and service!
Make an appointment on line... The wait can be long.
The website does not allow to make appointment several days in advance.
No talented people work there.
Emma is amazing!!

Queue system is a joke, waited and was skipped!
