Great staff! Very relaxed and helpful. Easy to work with and personable. Good rates and decent bikes. Wont make you look like a tourist. Pick up a set of golf discs while youre here - theres 18 amazing baskets in the park!
If youre not a roller skater, bring a picnic blanket, a bottle of wine, some snacks, park yourself right next to the rink on Sunday afternoons and watch the commotion unfold. There is usually 80s or 90s music blasting and a group of highly entertaining old-timers who get together every week to free style and practice their synchronized dance-skating. Its like watching a feel-good movie. Youll leave feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.
Amazing staff and great service. Helmet and water provide. The staff gave us a map and explain where we should bike. The bikes were in good conditions. Thanks guys for the great day!
I gotta give a big thank you to Dave. It was late in the day and I found the bike shop by chance. I hade a big hole in my tire, but my tube was still good. I am a diy guy and had tires at home. He hooked me up with a big piece of duct tape to wrap my rim and tire. I made it cross town to my van because of his quick thinking and generosity to help out. I would certainly recommend his bike shop on the merits of service alone. The fact that you can get a good set of rental wheels to enjoy the park is a huge bonus!
The bikes are all old rusty secondhand bikes. We rented 2 of them and both clicked with every pedal and one of the gears didnt even work. Very poor service from the worker (not sure his name but he had long black hair). He gave us a bike lock when we rented the bike and showed us how to use it, but he never gave us the key to it. Then charged us for the key when we returned the bike. Another customer waiting in line after us decided to not rent from this place after seeing the condition of the bikes and the way he treated us. Very poor business... would expect higher quality near golden gate park. If the owner was the guy woulf we spoke to in the store, he will likely comment back to this with a passive comment avoid the blame which is entirely his own fault.
Awesome place to rent bikes and pedal along the 3-mile round trip path with no cars on JFK Drive. Its full of life with bikers, walkers, joggers, and roller bladers.
You might have to fix a bike chain once or twice but overall its a good price compared to other bike rental places.
The prices and the service are great. I love the personalized attention that I get when renting a bike.
Good bikes for very less rates. It is located very close to the golden gate park, which makes it the best choice to spend biking an entire day inside the park.
I rent a bike for 2 days and explore the City on my own. Good Stuff, good Bikess. Ill come back👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Right by the park. Friendly staff. Lots of bikes and skates. Great rates. Complementary locker, lock and helmet are huge pluses.
The owner lacked knowledge of his own bikes and pricing..Kept getting misinformation between the father and son which wind up costing me more money in the long run. Not the kind of service I expect. Seems like I was dealing with dead heads.
Loved it...51 years old first time riding with my daughters..
Love it so much it was very cool if y havent been there yet then plese go
Always welcoming and friendly employees. Great place to rent a bike.
Great staff and great deal! The only rental place I trust now.
Nice stuff, great deal and good bikes. Will come again:)
Great local bike shop, right by an entrance to the park!
I have a friend rented the in-line skate, but the break was very weak. There are many slopes in the Golden Gate Park. She began to stop 3 meters in advance, the slope was about 35 degrees, but the friction was not enough to stop the acceleration . She fell down two times.
We arrived at 10 am right before they opened. No one was there - which was fine but no one arrived at 10:15 when we departed. Very frustrating because we had to Uber there and then left empty handed and spent the next 30 min walking to another bike shop.
Great place to rent skates for an afternoon in Golden Gate Park.
Waiting outside for 15 mins to open. Off somewhere else. Place looks a dump!
Absolutely awful service and the bikes are really poor. Avoid avoid avoid.
The best option to rent a bike for the Golden Gate Park
Best place for weekend exercise

Good bicycles.

Such a nice place
Closed for business
Nice and cheap
Renting a bicycle to visit the city is ideal. The welcoming staff indicated a loop which allowed us for 5 hours to visit the golden-gate park, Presidio, Lands end, .... The price is more attractive than elsewhere by the hour or by the day. The bikes (inside the shop) are new and well maintained. You can also rent roller skates, and have your bike repaired there.
