Got spring repairs done from them in October 2018. That came with a 5 year warranty. Spring broke yesterday. Called them and showed them the original invoice. They claimed that the invoice was fraudulent and was fabricated by a previous employee. Refuse to honor the warranty. Would never do business with them again.[Response to owners response below]Ill let my comment above stand. For people reading this review, please note how this business responds to reviews (read owners response to 1-2 star reviews on Google and Yelp) that are not flattering. A common theme is to attack, mock and blame the customers.

I was very impressed with how focused Tyler Louderback and his assistant were in dismantling my old garage door and in installing my new garage door. He was very focused and answered all my questions throughout the phases of the installation masterfully, which made me feel at ease and confident about the technical expertise of this company and the quality of craftsmanship displayed. I was also pleasantly surprised not only with the quality of the installation, but how neat and clean they left my garage area. I highly recommend this company and if you are lucky to get Tyler Louderback as your technician—rest assured you are in good hands!

Fantastic customer service! Found out my garage door spring broke and my car was stuck in the garage. I called early on a Sunday morning and was very fortunate to have one of the owners answer the call and not a answering service. He said hed be there same morning.... he came and was able to help me get my car out. He said he didnt have the spring needed, so they were back early next morning and the work was done in less then an hour.... the price quoted was fair to better then other locations I called. I was getting ready to jump in my car to see my grand daughter graduate from high school when I discovered my garage doors spring broke.. I called one company to repair it and they said they can come out sometime next week? Maybe you should call Uber. .....Really?I found Vulcan Garage Services doing a google search and called them.Their responsiveness was amazing.The gentleman on the phone called his technician and diverted him over to get the door opened. He explained to me there will be a fee to open the door but I must sign a repair order (contract) to get the work done later because he had another appoinment.The tech arrived shortly thereafter and he was able to muscle the door up. I signed the work order agreement and asked if they could do the repair same day if their schedule allowed. When I came home that evening, the door was in working condition and quieter than ever.They sent an invoice via email with a link to pay by credit card.Everything they did made it easy for me but most of all they realized how important the day was for me and did what it took to get me on my way.Top shelf people- top shelf company. Our carriage garage door which weighs over 800 pounds broke and of course it is nearly impossible to lift it without the motor. Being a Realtor I needed my car out of the garage first thing in the morning. Both cars where stuck inside the garage at 9:30pm! Chad took my phone call at 9:45pm!! Chad showed up at exactly 8am as promised the next day and was able to get my cars out of the garage. Him and his crew successfully gave my 20 year old garage system the overhaul it needed to run like new again. Thank you for fitting us in and doing such a fantastic job. Our garage door spring broke late last night. I searched google and went with Vulcan Garage Services because they had excellent reviews on google, Diamond Certified and are google guaranteed. I asked for the earliest possible appointment. We scheduled for 8am but they asked if it were alright to call at 7:00am if their technician was available earlier.Vulcan gave us a call saying the service tech would be there about 7:30.Our service tech David arrived & went over some options for repairs. We had opted to replace springs and added sealed nylon rollers. David also tightened the garage door hinges and made some adjustments. The door was running REALLY SMOOTH.The price was about what I expected to pay but after hearing my garage I decided to give David a tip. These guys gave real Diamond Certified Value. Also, the work was done quickly and so I was barely late for work.Vulcan Garage Services has Top shelf people and is a top shelf company- from answering the phone, scheduling, and doing garage door repairs.I Highly recommend.

Our garage door would not close anymore last night. We tried everything incl. sensor alignment, nothing seemed to work.I called Vulcan Garage Services and spoke to Corey and realized right over the phone that Corey is a stand up guy. I asked him for the earliest possible appointment. He made this a priority and made sure to come out first thing in the morning. He also texted me when he was 30 minutes out.When Corey came out, his diagnostic was fast and most of all, correct. The repair was fast, clean and smooth. Further, it allowed me to show up for work on-time without being concerned about the functionality of our garage.I could not have asked for a better technician and am glad I got connected with Corey. Would recommend Vulcan Garage Services to anyone without hesitation.

I do not recommend their service because my experience dealing with them was not at all good and they charged much higher than anyone else in the industry does for the services.I had a garage door issue and I contacted them to secure the door which is hanging from the top. When talked over the phone they did not mention anything about how much would it cost to bring the door back to secure position.They have collected my credit card details with out giving me an invoice or a work order and then only started to work on the door to bring the door to a secure position. I feel like this is like exploring the situation and does not sound right to me.Later, I talked to their technician and he agreed to bill me for half of what they have quoted me since only took him 15 min for the work. However, later I get an email from the president of the company that I should not have talked tot the technician directly. Next day, I got a phone call from the VP of the company saying that the technician is not supposed to give me a quote.At the end, they have charged me a hefty amount for their service they have provided which is to bring the door back to a secure position.I also inquired other garage door service companies on the pricing and found that they would charge much lower than what Vulcan charged me.Overall, I feel like these guys don’t care about winning the trust from a customer but would rather exploit any situation to charge customers with higher prices.

I am very satisfy with my new garage door. I look at three potential vendors, their quote was the highest but the person giving the proposal gave me the impression he knows what he is doing, he was going to be the person that actually was going to do the installation and gave me the best option; when the job was completed he did 100% of the agreement and zero surprises.

I was in need of a wireless keypad for an older garage door motor, so I called a local door company. They told me my motor was too old and tried to sell me a new motor for a crazy amount of money. I called another company and the technician said they could do it, but he would have to order the keypad and it would take a week to get. I was ok with waiting until he wanted to charge me $200 for the part and install. Im no garage technician, but I felt this was way too high. I told him I would not pay that amount of money for a keypad and he quickly went to trying to sell me a new motor. I was fairly fed up with companies trying to take advantage of me so i started researching. I came across Vulcan Garage Services and read a ton of positive reviews, so I figured Id give it another chance. They came out next day and I was immediately impressed. Well dressed and great attitudes. They assessed my needs quickly and provided options. They had the keypad with them and said my garage door motor was just fine and not in need of being replaced. Their prices were great so I had them install it. The technician installed it quickly, educated me on how to use it and was about to head out. Since he was here and I appreciated how honest and trustworthy they were, I asked to look at my other door and motor. He gave me a great deal on servicing all the springs rollers and second motor.Overall Im extremely satisfied and highly recommend them. Great pricing and customer service!

Was able to get my garage door repaired the same day after discovering a roller was missing and the door would not close all the way. The service technician was extremely helpful. After replacing ten rollers, he did a through check on the rest of the door and its parts. I was pleased.

Good morning. Its cold, dark in Los Altos Hills CA and my garage door torsion spring broke. The cable also got tangled. I called Vulcan Garage Services and requested a 7am appointment. To my surprise, Chewy, the service technician, was knocking on my door- 7am sharp.He inspected my door and made some recommendations. I told him do what he thought was needed. in one hour my door was fixed and running smoother and quieter than ever. excellent job and work. Highly recommend.

We were given an estimate of $1,800. to fix our garage door by another firm. I called Vulcan Garage Services and they sent a wonderful expert who came that day, fixed our garage door in less than two hours, and charged 1/9th the price of the other firm. Our garage broke 2 days ago and of course the first thing you do is call your extended home warranty. we explained what the issue was and they dispatched one of their vendors. well the vendor called us and we explained the issue. upon arrival and inspection VGS called to confirm the work. And of course our extended home warranty says it doesnt cover their work. So now we are $$$$$ out of pocket but VGS offered a VERY reasonable quote. Chad and Tyler were very professional, they took their time to fix and even make our garage better. I would highly recommend VGS over any garage repair company. I called Vulcan on a Friday at 5pm to fix a broken garage door. They scheduled me for Saturday morning. Showed up in the middle of the 2 hr window they gave me. They called 30 min in advance to let me know they were on the way. They ended up fixing the garage door I called them about and pointed out that my other doors spring was failing. They walked me through the issues and saved the damaged parts to show me what was replaced and the issues it caused. They also upon my request switched out the old steel rollers to the modern nylon rollers. Now my 25year old clunky sounding wood panel garage doors are almost silent when opening now. They were fast and priced very fairly. Highly recccomend them.

My garage door torsion spring broke [ which is very loud and scared me half to death] and so I looked up a DIY video to try and do it myself and read some guy did the same thing and ended up knocking himself out and a few teeth. So I put my info out to get quotes and Vulcan called with a few minutes, so I spoke with Mike and we set up a date and time and they sent out Matt. The other businesses called later that evening and even the next day. I needed my garage door fixed pronto, since I come thru there the most.Matt was super fast, it took him about 1 hr. when he was done my garage door was more quiet and ran smoother than before.Very reasonable rates. For the second time in a few months Vulcan came through for me and my family.The first time I needed their help I was opening the garage and I heard a loud snap. A cable had disconnected but what I didnt realize is the spring had also busted. I searched and found Chad and he called back within minutes to schedule a time that day to come over. Chad and Cory examined everything suggested a fix and got to work right then and there. They were finished replacing the spring and installed a second one to make sure this problem never occurs again.Well the second time I needed them just happened. The garage door opened and then stopped half way. I checked everything I could think of and even power cycled the door lift. Nothing worked. I immediately got a hold of Chad and he came out the next day to help. Chad and Cory again assessed the situation and replaced my door opener with a new one in under an hour!!These guys are awesome! They installed a new door last year but the left weather stripping was short and I was told theyll be back to finish it. That was almost a year ago. Called Mike numerous times and they have come by yet. Not a very good experience with them.
