Great customer service. Large selection of products. Wish there was one closer to me.

Overall a good experience. They had what I needed but I could tell they were short staffed few departments didn’t have an employee there (like a lot of places these days) that’s something they can’t really help so just remember times are hard for a lot of places. There was one cashier there at the time her name was Sarah. I told her I wasn’t a fan of self checkout she told me she would do it for me! I had an item that I needed two of but only saw one, I mentioned this to Sarah, she ended up looking up the item it was the last one they had but she told me how many the next closest Home Depot had. She was so helpful even though she was the only cashier up there and was pretty busy.

Great home improvement store. Friendly employees that are always helpful in finding items. Clean bathrooms and store. They offer everything from tools to appliances. Paint selection is pretty large. They offer plants and flowers when in season. If you are looking for a specific item I recommend calling ahead and making sure they carry it.

We had carpet installed last year and have been dealing with an installer who screamed at us and a manager at Home Depot who said he couldnt see a seam in the carpet. We asked the manager to come out to see it but he claimed he couldnt because of covid which confused us because we can still visit the store . During covid, we had carpet installed and bought a new refrigerator which both involved having someone in our house. Finally, after 4 visits to our home by the installers but not the manager an independent carpet inspector was called in. In his report it stated that the carpet was installed wrong. We are waiting to hear when it will be repaired and also for an apology from the installing manager and the Home Depot manager. Please use caution when having Home Depot for your flooring needs! Our refrigerator was delivered with an excellent team but I have no intention of doing anymore business with Home Depot!

Dealing with this company for a return for over a month and its for a contracted job is ridiculous! Then I have to go in and sign a paper (didnt happen) just needed my credit card... then they didnt return the full amount, another employee getting crappie to another employee right in front of a customer! Wow great job Sandusky... will not be going there again and if this is the way an assistant manager lets it happen! Wow again! Never again!

A big shout out to all of the employees at the Sandusky, Ohio Home Depot...bought a new Whirlpool Dryer today..Sara in the Appliance dept was very helpful and courteous...after the Appliance dept went over to the Lighting dept and the gentleman was very pleasant and helpful and when I checked out with a small purchase the Cashier was very pleasantThe store was well stocked in every dept..

Seems like if you need help, the Home Depot in Lorain is so much better.

This is a great store with a great selection of products. I came in here to walk around and was very satisfied with my experience. The store has everything that you could ever need for your construction and home renovation needs, which I like. It has a garden center where you can buy flowers and other plants, and lots of other things as well. You can buy appliances, sinks, toilets, lights, nails, hammers, and building supplies from this Home Depot. The staff are very nice and helpful, which I like. The store also has a nice color scheme, with everything being orange, which I really like because orange is a great color. I gave this store five stars because it had a great array of products and nice staff.

Will never do business with this place. Had windows and few other things delivered for $80 and they forgot windows. My options wait another week or pick them up myself. Needed the windows so i picked them up. Went there nobody would help get the windows which were on the second shelf, plenty of the workers standing around on phones. Was promised a discount on the delivery fee. That never happened. Fine Ill shop at Lowes instead at least their workers always offer to help.

For starters, its a good place to get your wood as hard as you want and whatever size you feel is right. When it comes to Christmas lights, the place is lit better than a 60s drum circle. Lastly, they have all sorts of accessories to assist in all of the nailing, drilling, screwing & in winter, plowing. What a store & they offer Veterans discounts too! Truly an all American store👍

Called a few weeks ago to get scheduled for a measurement for an exterior door install. The CSR said someone would call me back to schedule the appt. I received the call a few days later, confirmed my address and was told someone would come out before 2pm. Its now after 2pm, no one came or called to confirm the appt., I called the main 800# for home depot, was on the phone with a CSR for over 20 minutes and she was confused by my previous address being in the system, couldnt figure out what dept to go to and kept putting me on hold telling me if I have to Ill just forward you to the scheduling dept, so I gave up & called the local store instead. I asked for the Windows & Doors dept and was put on hold no less than 4 times before a manager finally picked up. He said he wasnt sure if anyone was in in that dept today, then walked around the store (phone in hand) looking for the employee that was supposed to be in that dept, asking other employees if this person came in today, finally told me the person was at lunch and hed have him call me back. Im going to find another company for my business.

Complete disregard for customers well-being during the pandemic. Multiple employees wearing masks as chin diapers, at least five customers on a slow morning without any masks at all.

The young man who waited on me (I think his name was Phil) was SO helpful and friendly and dug in to find answers to my questions!! Plus the price for what I was shopping for was cheaper than ANYWHERE ELSE Id checked.....and I checked several!!! It was definitely a good experience!!

Home Depot used to be my only go to store but not anymore. Today I had seven Associates pass me and not one of them asked me if I needed some kind of help. I am a female senior citizen with the gray hair to prove it. Im starting to think Lowes customer service is better.

I bought a washer and dryer set in-store and had it set up to be delivered on a Thursday. I would also like to point out I am a veteran and asked about their discount. The woman told me they do a 10% discount. Upon checking out, mind you the bill was nearly $2,000 for the set, I had a total veteran discount of $5. I was told that was the maximum discount I could recieve. Thursday came around and it was never delivered. I checked the order status the next day and my delivery date had been changed to a week later without notifying me. I called to find out what happened and reschedule. They could not give me a reason as to why it was not delivered. I tried to reschedule but they told me they only deliver on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I was working out of town for the next two weeks, and Im usually only home every other weekend. I ended up cancelling my order because they could not deliver on a day that I was available. I was told I would have my refund in 2-3 days. Two weeks later I still dont have my money. Called in and they told me I needed to come into the store to get the refund. It ended up being over 3 weeks before I got my money back. Someone never even called me to let me know of the refund procedure. You would think after a week of holding on to my $2,000 someone would have said something or tried to contact me.I ended up going to Lowes and ordering the same washer and dryer. It was delivered, installed, and the old units hauled away very next day with no issues at all.

The Sandusky store use to be my go to store, but my last few visits have been less than stellar. On more than one account I was trying to find an employee to ask a question, and I had multiple employees walk away from me when they saw me coming towards them. I tried recently to purchase a large rug and had my 7yr old son with me, and 7 different employees walked by and ignored us. 3 of them were an isle way goofing off and joking with one another. Today I was in the electrical isle, and not a sole was anywhere around. I walked up isle after isle to find someone. I finally came across an employee stocking a shelf, and asked them my question, they responded with I dont work in that section and went about their business. Going up to the registers there were 4 employees standing around laughing and joking with each other. I wont be spending any more of my time or money at the Sandusky Home Depot.

Best place for paint and wood

I was glad they had the stone my dad needed in stock, but after he asked for 8 bags of landscaping marble, they just threw it on the cart and turned away. Didnt even ask my 66 year old father if he needed help loading it into the car.

They had everything I needed in terms of Leviton plugs, switches, and switch plates. Pat was fantastic.

Prices getting outrageous, works avoiding you if you buy something heavy or awkward.

I can always tell when the manager has a pep talk about customer service because the sales associates really show interest in helping customers. But it must wear off quickly because sometimes it feels like they try to avoid me.I do however find products I need at a fair price compared to other stores. The store itself is clean and well organized. 🙄

Love the place everything for the house

First impression was an older guy with glasses and dark blond/light brown hair who didnt move an inch when I clearly said Good morning to him. The self checkout was the slowest self checkout I have ever used, the register said it was closed before it gave me my change, and did not print a receipt. The lady in charge of the checkouts had to print a receipt that cant be used for a refund. This lady had a giant fan blowing on high at the entire self checkout area. It was 66 degrees outside and the store is air conditioned. If your employee needs a fan to stand in one area, use a small fan aimed at her station. The customer doesnt need to suffer for your employees poor life choices. Store #3866. 0/5 stars.

Awful!! Spent 10 to 15 minutes waiting for someone to help for a pick up order! Watching customers walk out of the entrance only and not getting yelled at. But I get redirected to the exit. Either rules are for everyone or no one!

We called they said they were open till 8 pm we drive half hour to get there and they closed early. No one said anything about closing early when we called. We tried calling when in parking lot and no one would answer..a worker yelled across the parking lot to the 6 customers trying to get in that they closed at 7. The other customers all said the same thing about website saying they were open till 8 pm.

After directions from store clerk we had to unload our mulch because even though we were told to take it from that pile, other man came out and said we couldn’t. No one helped us. Different directions from different employees at our expense. Went to Lowe’s where we bought it without hassle
