I bought 9 appliances from them. 5 of them broke within 4 months. They say they will fix anything within four months but they stopped taking my calls as soon as I let them know I was having problems. But your stuff somewhere else. Not worth the headache and intentional scam.

These crooks sell appliances that are broken, they so called gave 90 warranty and failed to mention no refund or exchange, I tried reaching out left VM,text to these scammers they don’t return calls then coincidentally I get a call back after 90 day warranty is no longer valid, and they say sorry your refrigerator is no longer under warranty. I called manufacturer service & repair, the refrigerator was documented by Samsung unrepairable. Please beware of These bottom of the barrel scammers.

Do not come here. The fridge was a four door. Two of the doors would cool while the other two did not. We paid to repair our fridge here. The date of delivery was pushed back a week and a half and In the end, we had to pick up the fridge. When arriving home, we found out we were given the wrong fridge. We called them, and they told us our original fridge had been dropped and broken, and had instead been used for parts without our authorization. They attempted to deceive us with a fridge that was not ours and they were not planning on telling us. The fridge we were given was returned to them since it was in awfull condition, and they have refused to pay us the cost of our fridge or the amount we paid to get it fixed. Complete scam and shady buisness.

We have been a customer of Torres Home Appliances for years. We have bought stove top ovens and fridges. When it was time to replace our last fridge, we shopped around at Lowes, Best Buy, Sears Outlet, and another local appliance store. We would either find models we liked but way out of our budget or models in our budget that we didnt like. Finally, we returned to Torres to see what they have. The selection at the Edinger showroom was great. Abraham was very patient explaining the pros and cons for each refrigerator we were looking at. He made us a great deal on the fridge we ultimately picked. Had it delivered the next day for free. The delivery guys were quick, efficient and polite. When there was an issue with the freezers sensor, he sent a technician over the next day without charge. We are so very happy with our refrigerator.

Good selection of all types of appliances! Delivery, install, and timely! Stoked to use these guys. I even got a bad ice maker water line that goes to my sink and they were gonna send a guy out the day after the original delivery to fix the problem. Easier to use than Home Depot or Lowe’s.

I asked for a repair man to come to take a look at our dishwasher as it was not working and it was covered under the four month warranty.I had great difficulty in getting the appointment made, and then when the appliance technician finally did arrive, not only did he not fix the issue, but he also ripped the dishwasher out from under the counter, and left it there! We were then told by the owner Abraham, that He was actually doing us a favor sending a technician out in the first place, and couldn’t we please just put the dishwasher back ourselves?Needless to say we will never be buying an appliance from this place again, do not use them and do not expect any kind of customer service if you do buy an appliance for them and God forbid, it breaks during your four month warranty. Their idea of a warranty is a joke. This is the second time we have had issues with this company. We buy our washing machine and dryer from them as well, we had issues with that as well, we fight to get that item repaired, but we thought we would give them a second chance. It proves the saying, “no good deed goes unpunished,” is very true.I want to reiterate, the biggest issue I have with this company, is that the technician left without putting the dishwasher back the way he found it. This is just unacceptable. He left our appliance in worse shape than when he found it.

I’m hear you let the public know the shady business these seemingly very nice people are running. I financed a fridge from these guys with a 3 month warranty. The fridge was beautiful, and they had a few I liked. I settled on the kitchenaid 5 door. 5 months later I just finished paying off my fridge and it breaks down. I call a kitchenaid certified repairman, and he immediately was concerned. All the Serial number are scratched off. (Which is absolutely illegal) especially for a financed piece of equipment that a bank is backing with their money. The certified kitchenaid serviceman said they refilled the lines because they cut, and placed a refil cap. Which this type of repair only happens when they need a temporary fix. When it’s not worth repairing completely for how much it costs in labor and parts. Estimated time the fix works is 6-9 months. Go figure...they are running a complete scam, and I see now they make their business of this type of scam..fix a free fridge they hauled away and sell if for fair market price with no heeds or warnings as to the shady service they are giving these machines. Why would they let you know. No one would buy them for a temporary 6 month fridge. Please just consider my review, and make your own decision. I can tell you from my experience that going elsewhere is something you should strongly consider. They seem great, extremely helpful, and even delivered and installed for free! Whatever they can do to get the sale on their janky backyard repairs.See y’all in court Abraham.A Scratched serial number on a leased appliance will make it ezpz. We even tried to reason with you but you blamed a certified technician from kitchenaid, and said it’s our fault it broke. Questioning us why it matters if the serial number is scratched or not?! It’s illegal that’s why!!! Of course my girlfriend is mad! Luckily for us we can speak our minds, and say what we think, so publicly all the people will know what your doing. The judge will look at the facts of your shady business. Even if it takes me years to complete this claim it’s only 300$ to file in small claims...well spent to teach someone about US laws to keep good business ethics. I want to ensure no one has to be without a fridge when they financed and paid for a quality machine. Times are rough our community should be coming together during this time, and then we have Torres Appliances selling junk on a finance!?!? Your just like the sanitizer people charging 60 bucks for few dollar bottle of sanitizer. Absolutely unforgivable to keep denying you did no wrong. You could have taken the time out of your day to fix this, and we have tried for 2 days now with nothing but combative responses from you. Be safe out there. love and peace-average joeP.s. I’m going to Sears...times were tough, but a valuable lesson was learned for me. I’m still working, so thank you God for your blessings.

If I could put negative stars I would 😤 Please please please do your research before purchasing ANYTHING from this place. I bought a washer and dryer unit that was supposed to be “new” according to the owner Abraham, and about a month later the dryer started making an extremely obnoxious rattling noise they sent someone down to take a look and instead of fixing it Abraham agreed to replace it with a “brand new” unit but wanted $100 more since it was a newer model, but when we got the “new” unit it was actually marked $50 less then what we paid so technically we were owed $50, but that’s another story, so after having a pretty heated conversation with Abraham, we kept the newer unit but since we did not pay the extra hundo he told us we just won’t get a warranty and if it breaks it’s on us, so long story a little less long, we have a washer and dryer unit with a washer that works and dryer that stopped working in less than a week. DON’T BUY FROM THIS PLACE THEIR APPLIANCES ARE TRASH.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.My experience:bought a used washer and dryer, shortly after we had it (like less than a month), the washer door lock was broken but it was still under the 4 month warranty, so I contacted Abraham, the owner, and at first he was responsive but then I never heard from him and he stopped responding to me. I was able to create a temporary fix for the meantime.Fast forward to about 5 months later and I contact them again to try and get the same problem fixed. First, I dealt with Eric and he said they could come out the same day, then an hour before they were supposed to be here, he said he had to reschedule to the next day, fine, I even offered to pick up the component that was needed so I can do it myself if they couldnt come out. Anyways, we confirmed for the next day and NOONE SHOWED UP. NO call, NO contact/communication, NO cancellation, NOTHING whatsoever. I finally reach them the next morning (I still never got an explanation for them not showing up). So they sent someone over and installed the part. Done, right? Nope. The repair man had someone talk to me to discuss billing, which I had spoken with Eric earlier and he said itll be waived since I tried to get it fixed while under warranty and they didnt respond until now, when the warranty was over. After multiple phone calls going back and forth with Eric, all while the repair man was still waiting, they said they can only go as low as $60 since it was out of warranty. Btw the part is about $25 if I order it myself. I offered to pay for the part only even though it shouldve been covered, they refused less than $60. So I said nevermind and the guy removed the part and left.TLDR: DO NOT DO BUY FROM TORRES APPLIANCES. I cannot stress this enough. They will waste your time and their warranty is a scam. Will seem responsive but will ghost you until after the warranty is over to make more money from customers.

I purchased a supposedly new kitchenaid refrigerator. The ice maker has gone out numerous times. I have had this refrigerator for less then one year. The fan has gone out. I knew whirlpool warranted that for 10 years. The problem is the store without my knowledge scratched out the serial number. Nobody will fix it including whirldpool without the serial number. I have called Torres appliances many times to find out what’s going on. He told me not to call againBE WARNED- stay away. now I’m out $1700. I have to get a new refrigerator. If I was warned about these crooks I wouldn’t be in this situation. I could of bought a top of the line applianceStay away. They are swindlers
