I scheduled a 1:30 appointment with firestone today to get my oil changed during my lunch break. When I arrived on time, the employee I spoke with told me that in the email confirmation I received it said my appointment would be between 1:30 and 2:30(I read through the entire confirmation and it never mentioned that anywhere). I told him if it was going to be more than 2 hours, I would need my keys back and Id schedule another appointment. He reassured me it would be around 90 minutes. I gave him my keys and proceeded to wait, and watch my car sit in the parking lot for the next hour and a half. I finally spoke to one of the technicians at this point, and he told me it would be at least another half hour before they even got started on my car. I ended up wasting the one opportunity I had to take my long lunch break to get my oil changed, and didnt even end up getting it changed because they took so long. Theyre email they sent me included a Triple Promise(See photo attached), that promises things will be Fixed right, priced right, right on time). They hadnt even touched my car yet 2 full hours after my appointment time, Im not sure what they mean by right on time, but that doesnt seem like right on time to me. Also doesnt seem like much of a promise, considering they never got to my vehicle, and then never offered me anything besides rescheduling for another time. I dont understand why they even have appointments if theyre going to take more than 2 hours beyond your appointment time to even get started. Im also extremely upset than one of the employees promised me it would be around 90 minutes because I would have just left when I get there instead of wasting 2 hours of my life had he not promised me that. Id love a manager to reach out about my experience to see if what happened to me is just the norm for them or if they hopefully just let this one case slip through the cracks.

I had to drop off the company car and the owner himself I forgot his name, gave me a ride as a shuttle to my hotel. Now thats customer service which most places of business fall very short of. That was 5 stars for me, the work when completed was great. Getting two tires also a lifetime balance. The car drove amazing, the communication was on the money literally. I reccomend this establishment to anyone who needs tires. Keep up the great work and thank you!

I took my car here about a week ago with what turned out to be a whole bunch of issues, and I was very impressed. The staff was professional, kind, and efficient: both of them when I was dropping off and when I was picking up. I was in and out of the shop in five minutes even though there was a long list of things that needed to be done on my car. They finished right when they said they would and seemed out for my best interest. Prices here do seem higher than a local non-chain shop, but I plan to bring my car back here again because the staff seemed dependable and trustworthy.Update: I took my car back for a different issue, and Chris went above and beyond to help. Chris turned what would have been an unhappy customer into a grateful one. Miguel also, who seems to have extensive experience, enabling him to figure things out and fix them far quicker than most mechanics I’ve encountered before. Thank you both for everything!!

Service advisor Chris is absolutely great. I called last minute to schedule an alignment. (I hit a curb a few weeks ago and my alignment hasnt been the same since) Chris said if I could arrive within the hour he would get me in. I arrived within the hour and he did what he said he would do. The alignment took roughly an hour. After the alignment was finished, Chris went over the results with me explaining what camber, caster, toe in and toe out meant. It turns out I didnt just hit the curb; I straight monster trucked the curb. The alignment tech did an amazing job fixing my car. I could immediately tell the difference while accidentally pulling out in front of diesel mac truck when I was pulling out of the parking lot back onto Bristol. I have never swerved like that in my life; I didnt know my car was capable. Thanks again for the awesome repair, I will definitely be back. I only wish Firestone had an optometry department. I really need to get my vision checked.

Year update: still going here and the way this shop is honest and fair still holds true. No shops is perfect but they work with me and are fair. Great personable technician and store manager.In my experience this has been one of the most professional and honest auto care experiences I’ve had in the area. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable especially who I assume to be the manager. They will even show you what they are talking about and take you into the shop if you ask. I keep up with my car very well and took it to other shops regarding my rotors and steering wheel shaking. Other shops try to upsell me, offer services my vehicle didn’t need and were over priced. The firestone staff answered all of your questions and I always ask a lot of questions. The pricing is very fair. I also made an appointment and was seen within 30 min of arriving which is great. Always best to make an appointment.

I went this place for alignment. Although I had appointment, I spent 3 hours. I didnt feel any difference after service. So I am not sure whether they did the alignment or not. I have a fancy car, a guy took my car without my permission and drove quite some time, when he came back, I was watching him, it was clear that he was manually changing gear to maximize the rpm😠

I would have to say that this is one of the better locations that I have been to. The service was great and although the wait was a bit long, I had a book to read which worked out fine. I came in for A/C service and upon inspection it turned out I had an AC leak which made sense because my AC was not cooling too well. Had all work pre-approved and glad to say that my AC is super cold now!

Poor management. I made at appointment for a tire rotation with the option to wait for pick up and they didn’t start servicing my vehicle until 2 hours after the appointment time. I wasn’t warned when making the appointment that I would need to wait so long. Over 3 hour wait just for a tire rotation

I had an appointment for alignment. I waited 2 hours in this shop. Then, I asked when they thought that I would be good to go since I had been waiting for 2 hours and my car was still at the same place. They told me soon. A guy took my car and drove some time came back and parked another spot 😠On top of that, I waited another hour or so, then they told me I was good to go.I am even not sure whether they did the alignment. I wasted my 3 hours in that shop.

I couldn’t believe the service at this location, terrible. I scheduled an appointment to swap my wheels, as simple unbolting the screws and putting on the new ones. They knew the vehicle type before I came in but apparently the technician didn’t feel comfortable??? I have taken my car here many times and it has always been a great experience. They have always communicated the problem and they do not pressure you for extra repairs. The car repairs are always very timely that they have done even for my BMW. Car repairs are not always cheap but I feel this is an excellent auto care place that is very trust worthy.

The reason of my bad experience is because I order new tires true TIRE RACK and select Firestone as my installation, they provide with a Quote so I can decide if Im given a price that I feel is fair, that price was $107.00 dollars for installation of the four tires and somehow my bill is $265.00 dollars a lot more then was quote to me and the person at the service center give me a lot of excuses to come to that price....so like many times happen in this situations they try to make me feel like they make me a favor because according to him I receive $50 dollars off for the super price of $265 that end paying. So someone got it wrong could be Tire Rack or Firestone service center, but I notice that when you dont buy front the service center, they look into increase the prices because you dont buy the tires from them.UPDATE ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE, The Manager at the Firestone auto center contact me to acknowledge the mistake on the pricing and I receive a refund, I truly appreciate his help, so I guess the best thing to do is to contact the service auto center and get a quote before you go to have a better idea of what you are getting in to it.

UPDATE: After contacting Firestone Corporate with a firm but polite email, I was contacted a few days later by Sam, who apologized for the oversight and will be providing me a full refund for the erroneous work done on my vehicle by them. I am revising my rating to three stars. While I wont be taking my car back for brake work in the future, I will consider them for other needs, such as battery replacement or tire replacement.I stopped by here with my 2016 Corolla LE on December 4, complaining about a screeching when backing my car out of parking spots.An agent there provided the free break check and courtesy check of the vehicle. They told me that the car break pads need cleaning and resurfacing. This sounded legit so I paid the $118 to have this done. I figured this would solve the problem.Not so. Backing out of the center was fine, but when I got home to test this for myself, the problem was absolutely not fixed. As a matter of fact, this issue has only gotten worse over time since then.I took my car in to Tustin Toyota to get another opinion. It turns out that the break pads were damaged from overheating, which can happen in certain driving conditions. The pads basically needed to be replaced.It is beyond the pale that Firestone had not only missed this obvious problem but had the gall to charge me for service that did absolutely nothing for the problem. Im out over a $100 with nothing to show of it. I will be reaching out to Firestone for a refund and unless I receive this refund I will be telling everyone I know to stay far, far away from any Firestone shop. Shame on the people at this shop for ripping me off and displaying incompetence on the subject they should know the very best (car brakes.)They will be receiving an email from me shortly and I will update this review as the situation develops.

Went in for an alignment under warranty and to get a tire quote. I noticed my wheel was a bit off center and my vehicle was pulling to the right. On paper it looked like no adjustment was made (calculating for computer micro measurement) . Little under a week my steering wheel is now more right and if I keep my wheel straight it accents the right side pull. Either technicians dont know what theyre doing or their alignment machine is off. Ill be going to another Firestone from now on. This place didnt feel welcoming.

I took my car in for two new tires and an oil change. They called me no more than 1 hour later and tried to up sell me for work they say I needed that would cost an additional $1700. The funniest was the windshield washer blades which I had just replaced a month ago. They lost my trust and my future business.

My friend brought her car in to resolve a shimmy that was getting worse every week after I told her that she really needs to get it taken care of sooner than later. Unfortunately, English is not her strong suit and auto mechanics is even more foreign to her. She didn’t quite know how to describe the problem to the representative and the shimmy actually got worse after the technicians performed a front and rear wheel alignment.When I went in with her this morning to seek a resolution to the outcome of the previous resolution; I was pleasantly surprised to be met with a very courteous staff who immediately looked into situation and determined that in addition to the wheel alignment, her tires should have been rotated (normally a $20 service). They then rotated her tires and did so at no charge even though they implied that it was suggested to her that it should be done when she brought the car in the first time. When we left, we experienced absolutely no shimmy on the city streets or even at highway speeds on the Interstate.During our ride home, my friend told me that she didn’t understand what tire rotation meant and that she had told the original technician that she didn’t want it done when he suggested it during her first visit because she didn’t want to pay for something that she didn’t need.It was a rather insignificant amount of money at issue in this matter, but I believe that the staff at this Firestone Service Center went well above and beyond in their efforts to take care of a customer. I highly recommend this Service Center. Professionalism, courtesy, and integrity are no strangers to the staff here.

NEVER ON TIME!!! NEVER GO TO THIS STORE!!!Came here for a scheduled regular maintenance on Sat afternoon. Told me that I had to reschedule AFTER I came. I rescheduled to Sun morning, and waited for 2 HOURS and they did NOTHING to my car.Very dissatisfied about the service. No call in advance to tell me that they are going to be late. Hidden Service Charges. Im trying to make this shop work for me, but they just seem shady for revenue. I went to replace (2) tires at $250 each. The bill was handed to me at $680... After reviewing it, they added a $75 tire protection for punctures and a $40 tire balance warranty without asking or even discussing it with me. Further more, when I finally removed those items, and went to pay, I was still given a $612 total. I had to ask of this was with the $100 off when you spend $500 (promotional offer). He then said let me check. It felt like if I was not checking, they were going to upsale me without consent and not provide the discounts available to me. And it was either irony or coincidence that the promotion was $100 off when spending $500, and these hidden fees totalled to roughly $100. I left to run other errands once I left Firestone and just felt like I was in a bad mood after this experience.

I am writing to express my concerns about the service I received on April 22, 2019 at 3733 S Bristol St, Santa Ana, CA 92704 (Store #018716 / Customer Invoice 183196). I arrived at approximately 9AM for an oil change and an alignment since I have the lifetime alignment warranty. I received an estimated completion time of 45 minutes. One hour later, I received a phone call explaining that my vehicle had several suggested maintenance packages to ensure the car functions properly. I accepted because it was stated that they would be completed within an hour and trusting that this was in the best interest of the vehicle. An hour and a half later I returned to the shop, the vehicle was parked outside, and I was informed that two customers were ahead of me and it had yet to be serviced.I told them that I needed to leave and to cancel service because I would be late for appointments. They insisted that that they would have it out in within a few minutes, so I continued to wait. Thirty minutes later I was told the vehicle was nearly complete. Over twenty minutes after this update I paid and left. The time was nearly 12:30 PM. Less than five minutes after leaving a warning light appeared on the dashboard that was not there before my visit.Every team member was cordial; however, I left with several concerns: 1) Were the services on the invoice actually completed? 2) If yes, were they completed properly? 3) Was I overcharged? 4) Why did I have to wait almost an hour and forty-five minutes longer than the quoted time of completion?I prefer to give up the lifetime alignment warranty to avoid this type of experience in the future. It is not worth my time and I do not see the value in the upcharge for services that may have been unnecessary. I will not return Firestone with these concerns and would urge others to consider a different service provider.

I completely hate to think the way they treat my car when Im not there. I got back in my car after purchasing a new tire and only to find black fingerprints on my headliner and my glove compartment a mess. For some reason I think they tried checking my cabin air filter on my Lexus and they completely made a complete mess of my glove compartment. This is not the first time it has happened and it really sucks because my family has been going to this Firestone for quite some time. Needless to say Im sure Ill be finding a more suitable company that will do right by the consumer. Ernie was a Great manager at the time when I had been going there and my family and I never had a problem. It really is upsetting to see the lack of care for my car throughout this whole procedure I paid out of pocket for.

Went there for the air conditioning performance check up. I was told I needed a new compressor. And got an over $800.00 estimate. I got the compressor replaced elsewhere but I wasn’t the compressor problem at all. It was just that the engine was low on coolant and caused engine to over heat. thus ECM prevents from turning on the compressor to prevent additional over heating the engine. I end-up spending a lots money for nothing over $500.00 . This place is there to make bring in vehicles to make quick buck and do not know what they are doing.

So they got me an awesome deal on the tires I wanted on my 1970 Monte Carlo... Its been in my family since 1970.I pulled up to Firestone, tossed the keys to the guys, 5 mins later we turn around and my car was on fire. Not a joke, it literally started an engine fire because my carburator was leaking gas.They whole crew ran to get a fire extinguisher and put the fire out. They contained the fire really well, the damage wasnt as bad as it could have been because of these guys. They knew that car was special to me and really cared about my situation. They went the extra mile about ten times that day.Sometimes it isnt just about the service or the product, these guys are just damn good people/firemen, meant a lot what they did for me. I hope this place stays busy as hell, they deserve it.If Firestone corporate reads this, dont lose these guys, and buy the a second round of beers for them, I am buying the first.

I took my Chrysler 300s in for brake inspection, once the inspection was complete I was told that I need front brake rotors. At the time Firestone was offering $60 per axle for brake. I was aware that I needed a brake job hints why I brought my car in for service. The rear rotors needed to be resurface. At that point I decided replace the brake pads on the rear brakes. We agreed on using Akebono Ceramic pads front and rear; however, what was installed in the rear CARQUEST PXD1057H Disc not the Akebono. I was charged $170.99 for Akebono front brake pads that retail for $54.99 and the $60 coupon was not apply to the rear brake job. Bottomline is you must go through your invoice in detail as they hide the $170.99 on the last page and I fail to catch it at the time of check out. BUT WHAT IT REALLY SAYS THEY FIRESTONE CAN’T BE TRUSTED. Thanks Ivan

I made an appt for tire alignment and oil change at 10:15am on May 31st at the Costa Mesa Firestone. I told them I needed service to be done by 12pm because leaving any later would result in getting into work late and they confirmed it will be done before then. I walked across the street to grab some food but 11:50am rolls around, I called back to see if my cars been pulled in to be serviced. Surely enough, it hasnt been pulled in to be serviced whatsoever. I ended up not getting any service done that day even though I made an appt.To top everything off, when I first got into the store, I asked about car batteries. I was convinced I was going to get a new car battery that day As time went on while I was waiting for my car to be serviced, I changed my mind on getting the new car battery, but the sales associate was extremely persistent and pushy. It started to get annoying after I have been saying no, I changed my mind to him numerous times.

We came to fix a nail in a tire that had become quite an issue over time and really needed to be resolved ASAP. Called a couple of places off of Yelp and were unhappy with the news we got until we called this place.Unlike everywhere else, they didnt hassle us over the phone, didnt charge an outrageous fee, and guaranteed a quick turn around time. Sold!We were about 5 minutes away from the location and the manager knew who we were before we even walked up - you called about the tire? Yep. He got a guy to assist us, look at the tire, quote a price, and then told us to chill in the lobby, enjoy the wifi, and all would be sorted in 15 minutes.15 minutes later and $25 out of pocket, the tire was all patched up. The shop itself is very clean with a great lobby area and friendly respectable employees. They didnt try to up sell us which was greatly appreciated.

Dont come here unless you want to get screwed. My girlfriend went in for a $30 oil change, they saw a young naive woman and took advantage of her big time. The told her the tires on her car were about to explode, that her fuel system needed to get serviced because it was killing her gas mileage. They nickel and dimed her for every bit of cash they could squeeze out of her. She left with a $1,100 bill... what a bunch of scoundrels!
