These guys are non for-profit, they help you with everyday issues for cheap price. Be aware though, they are NOT professional bike repair shop. Their level of expertise varies with the worker, and they would rather swap with new stuff and charge for parts to fix your bike. TBH you shouldnt expect more than that.

I needed a bottom bracket overhaul and my brake wires redone. It took them ten days and the price was double what I was initially told because my wheel size was bigger than normal. Alright. Within fifteen minutes of riding my fixed bike, my brakes locked up. A few days later, the new bike tire starts getting itself lodged on the chassis. Both times, I was sent across my handlebars. Had I not jumped off my bike I would have injured myself and the people around me. I regret coming here for repairs, my bike went from slow to dangerous.

Horrible service and workmanship. I had an aluminum seatpost rusted stuck in a steel frame, which they said would be a difficult job but they would attempt it. They said that the seatpost would no longer be usable after they removed it, but after I left it overnight with them, all I got back was a mangled seatpost and seat tube. I thought that would be the end of it, but they made me pay for the labor done in further damaging my bike and also doing nothing to ease the stuck seatpost. When I tried to contest the fee, the manager got very passive-aggressive with me on the phone and still refused to waive the fee. To summarize, I took my bike to AS Bikes, my bike got damaged and did not get repaired, and they still charged me for their labor. 0/10 would not come again
