The staff was friendly and helpful. The bikes were clean and really easy to use. Loved our two hour, 12 mile ride along the shore and up through Montecito. Great way to spend an afternoon in one of our favorite towns.

The reservation process was easy and the check in was quick. The bikes were comfortable and lots of fun to ride. Its a great thing to do in Santa Barbara because its so hilly and there are lots of great sights to see. Also, the sandwich shop next door is good for a picnic lunch.

Just opened 3 days ago! Great E-Bike rental on State Street, brand new bikes, great equipment (phone holder, cup holder, locks and cool helmets), great bike quality and very friendly service! A “must-do” when visiting SB! Prices are also fair!

The Staff was very professional and friendly and refunded part of our 3 hour rental. So we cant say it was all bad but...in the one hour of renting first we has to go ba k because the battery on bike was not locked in and the power wouldnt come on. They gave us a key and said turn it on and we thought that is all you had to do. The battery wasnt installed correctly or checked. Then we had to go back the second time because the chain guard kept popping out in front of the pedal. It wouldnt stay after pushing it back in so one of us fell crossing an intersection. I think they are in a popular spot on State street and have plenty of business so the customer service is lazy. Weve rented before and you get to know the bike with guidance first to work out the kinks. Not a 2 minute verbal demo. These Motiv bikes are squirrely. Even working properly you dont have much control with the handle bars so high and wide. They are not in the beach where you just start an easy cruise. The Saturday traffic to get down there is brutal. I would suggest trying the bikes first before you commit to see if you like them. Checking to see if they are working before taking off. And not renting on a weekend.

They sanitize the helmets and we felt very comfortable.This was my first experience with an electric bike. What fun it was to zip along on the bike trails, going up and down the hills.Yes now I want an electric bike!Linda

The bikes and customer service were great. We have rented electric bikes in a lot of places. Felt there wasn’t enough scenic bike paths, so two hours was the perfect amount of time to ride along the coast. It’s a beautiful area.

Rented e-bikes for my husband’s birthday and enjoyed riding down to Summerland, up to the Mission and all over town. Made this entirely possible and enjoyable and as locals, I would never have been able to do that otherwise! Definitely interested in buying them now!

Such a great experience. My daughter and boyfriend were down from Oregon and decided to go to Santa Barbara for an electric bike ride and all of us absolutely loved the experience. We had the 4 hour rental and it was perfect. All the bikes were in excellent condition and the location was ideal.Cant wait to go again.

Recently purchased my own ebike online and I had some questions around hub control vs rear control powered bikes. The guy that helped me out was super awesome. Even though he knew there wasnt a sell he still was mode than happy to assist. If I buy another bike Im definitely coming back to this spot.

I was nervous about renting an e bike during the pandemic but I really needed to do something fun and different- outside. I tried to rent a bike from a local business ( I live in Ventura) but the local shops werent renting. I found this place online and SB is not too far from home. I loved the easy online rental process, I called to ensure they would be open and a friendly human answered and assured me theyd be ready for us. After making our reservation and signing our waivers online we showed up at the appointed day and time. I was relieved and felt safe when I arrived and saw the precautions theyd taken to ensure social distancing at the shop- people masked, limited bodies inside, spotlessly clean place with ample sanitizer around- even a barrier with doorbell to prevent people from coming into the shop without assistance. They quickly got us in and out of the shop after answering all questions and showing us how the e bikes worked. We had an absolutely perfect day, the e bikes were so fun and the folks at they shop gave great suggestions for routes. We returned the bikes when our time was up and since we did everything online we didnt have to spend any time in the shop (which was a cute shop! but, ya know, pandemic). Great e bikes, location, service, price, process, and overall great experience. I really recommend this as a great way to spend a day in beautiful Santa Barbara!

I rented a bike for 2 days through my work as an incentive to try before you buy. The process was seamless. I signed the waiver online and spoke with Fernando, who delivered and picked up the bike from my home. The bike was beautiful and very comfortable to ride. On my way to work, I used the battery boost settings so I didnt get sweaty, and on the way home I got in a good workout without the settings. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

My friend and I rented two e-bikes from them yesterday; the customer service was excellent! The gentleman helping us (Dennis) was very knowledgeable and friendly. Their store policy was to have us sanitize our hands before entering, which gave us confidence that theyre taking covid and cleanliness seriously. We rode the bikes from State St all the way down to Carpinteria and back. We used an average level of peddle assist and didnt even use up half the battery. The bikes are sturdy comes with a phone holder, water bottle holder, alert bell, and bike lock. You get a helmet too along with your rental. We really loved our experience. Thank you!!

We recently rented 4 e-bikes for a one hour fun ride around Santa Barbara and loved it! Such a great way to see the city. We covered way more ground than if wed walked or rented normal bikes. The bikes were in great condition and were super fast. Also thought the rental price was great value. Would totally recommend this place!

My fiance and I were celebrating a milestone, spenting a few days in Santa Barbara. I surprised him by renting E bikes from e-BIKERY instead of bringing our own bikes to ride. We are avid cyclistsaveraging 30 to 50 miles on our weekly rides, but I thought it maybe fun to get up into the hills to get a different perspective of Santa Barbara away from the traffic, without making extreme efforts. WHAT FUN WE HAD!!! Now my guy wants one of these bikes! I highly recommend this business for rentals, sales and accessory pieces to purchase for your cycling fun!! My wife and I had a lot fun renting an electric bike for the first time. We were very impressed by the entire staff of this store. Fernando and Rachel are extremely knowledgeable, courteous and both were very helpful with all the details and instructions. Great variety of brand new bikes, all come with drink and cell phone holders and a basket.We had a fantastic time and were able to cover a lot of ground, visited many different places that would be much harder to do with just a regular bike.I highly recommend e-bikery and I can’t wait to go back there again for another bike adventure with my family and friends!

This is a great place, at a great price with great people! The staff is very friendly and happy to explain how everything works. The bikes are very comfy and the seats are easy to adjust. The price is 20/hr at least when I went there which is a very good deal. The buttons on the left adjust the speed of assistance the battery gives when biking and the left throttle moves the bike without pedaling if you so wish. There is a whole bike trail outside the store thats fun to use, just keep an eye out for cars and people roaming the beach. Its hard to get on a regular bike after using one of these 1600$ bikes.

We were told to be at the store 15 minutes before our appointment. The store was locked until the actual time we were to have the bikes and so we waited outside. We were told to download liability forms from the website and sign them before coming. The website would not let us download the forms.
