Noticed my rear brake developed an air bubble. Fastrack bicycles staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and got the rear bled and new pads on in less than 24hrs. Given the COVID bike boom I consider this a pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

Dave is outstanding. I needed a replacement front wheel for my road bike which seemed like a very simple task however two other SB bike shops didn’t see the profit margin in it. Dave got me a new wheel easily within one day. Highly recommended!

Dave is great! I called him about a new SRAM cassette that just came out and he ordered it and installed in on my bike within 2 days. He did the work in an hour and his labor charge was extremely fair. He also improved my bike fit at no extra charge. This place is a find and he has another loyal customer.

These guys are awesome! I had a tire and seat stolen off my ten year old bike and brought it in to get it fixed up. I dont ride much so I just wanted enough to ride it again. They immediately went through what they had, found the parts I needed and installed them for me. I was out the door in half an hour. Extremely happy

Fantastic shop... I am in 🎅 Barbara frequently to visit family, and I try to rent a fancy road bike from Dave and crew when Im able. A total treat to cycle around here, and esp on A+ equipment!

This one is easy!!! Dave and his partner take care of you. They go way out of the way to help you and at no charge sometimes. The knowledge is there with the best of any bike shop. The best part is that Dave gets it that you want your bike back sooner then later. They work at meeting your schedule.

This shop is one of the best that Ive ever visited and Ive seen a lot of shops in my day (just trust me on that one). The owner, Dave, knows his stuff inside and out. Hes an amazing mechanic himself, but has his trusty sidekick Luke there in case they need four hands on a job. Its the kind of shop where, once you know Dave, you can just go in and sit down and shoot the $hi% for hours on end... if you like that sort of thing. Great selection of stuff, not a stuffy haughty atmosphere. Yup, this really is a great shop.Im really sorry that there are one star reviews of this shop here on Google. Truly, this is a great shop and worth the visit if nothing more than to see the cycling museum-worthy paraphernalia.

I recently moved to Santa Barbara and went to Fastrack to get all of my gear, bike set up and get into the world of cycling. The guys at the shop were very knowledgeable, were able to help me out and get me set up with everything I needed. If you ever have an issue you can go back to them and they will help you however they can and are great with customer support. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone that is looking for a good shop to go to. I think some of the other reviews are out dated and this shop is far better than they make it out to be. Excellent bikes, parts, people, and service.Check them out!

I got a bike as a gift and was having some issues with dialing it in. The reviews said this was one of the best shops in town but they also were high end. I am a newbie and was a bit concerned walking into a specialty shop like this.Dave (owner) grabbed my bike and my cell phone and told me he knows exactly what to do. I came back the next day and my bike was ready to go and Dave took his time to explain to me what he did. Here I am a $50.00 customer getting the $10,000 bike treatment that one would expect from a shop like this. He not only took the time to explain what he did but he answered some new rider questions and did not try to sell me anything. Just solid service, solid advice and a great understanding of road bikes. Everything small business is about. Give em a visit they have all ranges of bikes and the knowledge and know how to get you riding tight.

Best staff in town. Came in with questions about how to fix my flat on my first tubeless tire. Didnt try to over-sell me, showed me how to fix it myself and left with the appropriately sized product. Always coming back here.

A little frustrated. I went in to ask if I could buy a new visor for my bontrager helmet and was told that it would be near impossible to find. I went home and did a google search and found the exact part I needed on the Trek website! Obviously it wasnt impossible to find if I could order it directly from Trek. I could understand if it wasnt in stock at the store, but considering Ill likely have to pick the part up at the store anyway, it wouldve been nice to at least have been guided in the right direction.

I just purchased a new bike from here. I am a daily commuter and use the bike to get to school, work and to a from the bus.I had a great experience Luke and Dave are awesome. They helped me pick out the right bike and got it tuned up. If I ever want another bike in the future or need help with mine, I wont go anywhere else.

Super friendly, competent for a great price

I was in Santa Barbara taking my son to college at UCSB. He does not cycle much but needs a bike to commute. We saw the junk at KMart and some pretty expensive new stuff but one call to the owner and on a Sunday no less we were totally hooked up. He had a perfect used older mountain bike for a great price. This is a great place if you like excellent customer service and a friendly and knowledgeable salesperson. We got lucky that he helped us on such a short notice and if/when we need another we will contact them right away. We were there 9-24-2017 on Sunday.Thank you!
