The guy that worked here was totally honest that the repair on my Samsung GS8+ was going to be really expensive based on the way the screen had cracked. He recommended I go through his own vendor to buy the parts myself then have him install it to save money. All in all the guy clearly works super hard and isnt trying to be dishonest about how to do the repair to make extra on you. He even offered to pay for the unbroke parts left on my phone if I chose to get a new one.

Bad experience. Had my iPad glass replaced. Was told he would only charge me $19 for a $20 case. Watch out. He charged me $40 and it was so cheaply made it broke the first week I had it. He said he would order another and not charge me, to come back next week. A week and a half later.. You got it. It hadnt arrived yet. Ill go to Verizon just down the block and get a much better case for less.

ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE FIXED HERE!!!!!I paid them $135 to fix my cracked screen, and they ended up ruining my front facing camera!! I called them numerous times to get it fixed as I live out of town, and was hung up on!! Then they stopped answering my calls! DO NOT TRUST THEM! I will be filing with the Better Business Bureau and notifying the mall where their kiosk is located! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND BELONGINGS! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!

He was super busy but I decided to wait. I asked about the price and how long he would take. He said 15 minutes and $189! I left after 20 minutes and my phone is like BRAND NEW! I broke the screen on my samsung galaxy s5 and a few days later the screen completely went out. I emailed iprotech in Santa Barbara located in the Paseo Nuevo mall. Within 15min i received a response along with a quote that was more than reasonable. I was able to walk up and hand over my phone to OSNAT (hopefully i spelled it correctly) and she provided excellent customer service and was able to not only fix my dismantled phone but also had it ready sooner than expected. SCAM. Roy (Ipro?, he wouldnt tell me his last name) the seller sold me a waterproof case that actually costs 7$ online (I just found out) but he sold it for 81$, so when I came back to return it (I wasnt happy with it anyways) he said no, I dont like you as a customer, please leave. So I asked if I can exchange it for a battery change, he brings out OLD AND NON FUNCTIONING batteries and I told him to stop and Ill just keep the case, so he TAKES my adapter for the case so basically he STOLE the product from me and STOLE my money. Horrible customer service and he shouldnt even be in business.

To make a long story short, iProtech was the only place that was willing to try and help repair my phone out of 3 other phone repair shops. They were very upfront with the costs and very professional. The young guy that fixed it obviously knew what he was doing and was able to fix a motherboard issue giving me fair warning in advance that the repair might not work. My phone was completely dead so I had nothing to loose. He got it working in little time and all my information was saved! Ill be going there from here on out for repairs!
