I walked in to get an exam (covered by my insurance with copay of $10.00), immediately the front desk people added some kind of a $60 per exam cost, and said the annual box of contact lens will cost $800.00.I got confused and said that I am not interested in any of these. They said they’ll have to charge me $50.00 for cancellation.So I said I will stay but will only do an annual exam which I will pay $10.00 copay for. During the exam, they wanted to add $39 imaging and charged me for $150.00 contact lens fitting which never even happened.After I refused, they corrected their charge to $10.00. Are you kidding? This action re-confirmed that they’re scammers.They tried to scam me from the beginning. My only regret is staying and wasting time in this desperate place. I should’ve just walked away and let them try to charge me $50.00 without my credit card details.

I e been with the Eyetopia team for years now. Best eye care ever! As an example, I didn’t have time to pick my new glasses when I had my checkup last week so I made an appointment and went back in today. The staff had remembered all the things I said I was interested in and wanted to consider, etc. In advance, they research availability, other colors, pricing, etc. Truly above and beyond. Cant recommend strongly enough!

Doctor is great. She will explain all the details to you. If you want to buy new glasses they don’t have good stock.

Dr. Kim is a great doctor. She walked me through exactly what I needed to know about my eyesight and more. She makes her patients feel comfortable and secure. The only downer is that visits are pretty expensive and they sell contacts and glasses for a high cost. I recommend purchasing directly from the manufacturer/seller.

The appointment scheduling was smooth and quick. The staff were prompt, on-time, and explained everything. They were very nice and knowledgeable. The optometrist spent considerable time discussing options for eyewear that may help with migraines. I was very satisfied with the service

COVID-safe, friendly, efficient and communicative in all office procedures.The staff and doctor were great as well - extremely patient and responsive to all my questions, and no question about their knowledge. Im so glad to have found Eyetopia!

This place is great they specialize in eye care and many different solutions to fix vision problems, I was referred by my primary Ophthalmologist also a specialist for their skills in specialized lenses tough to do most eye doctors don’t do. If you have a eye condition that is special, tough or rare they are probably skilled in getting a solutions to fix it and your sight better, I’m sure they can do the basics well too.

Dr. Kim is wonderful. She takes her time and listens to your concerns. Very through. The stuff is professional and friendly. I have not had issues with scheduling at all. They are very responsive.

I never had a better fitted contacts than with Dr. Kwok. She was able to quickly notice that the contacts I have been wearing (uncomfortably) for years is the wrong size and prescription. Then she was able to find the ones perfect for me.The whole office experience was quick and professional. Making the appoint was a breeze.They took great precaution in keeping workers and patience safe during covid. I would highly recommend!

I had an appointment but early in the morning of the day of appointment had a conflicting critical work meeting come up so I called immediately to cancel my appointment. Was told that $50 will be charged for changing appointment.

Staff were really nice and took Covid prevention measures seriously.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. I had a new staff member helping me most of the time, and things still went smoothly.The selection of eye glasses/sunglasses was excellent.After I pick out my sunglasses, the staff did a great job of figuring out my insurance, and telling me about my options for lenses. After all was said and done all I paid was $120!Definitly check this shop out if you are in need of glasses! Thanks Eyetopia!

I’ve been seen by Dr. Lim 2x now (Yearly check-up) and has always been a pleasure to talk to. I can tell that she sincerely cares for her patient and her staff is also easy to deal with. My transactions have been smooth and the variety of eyeglasses available for me is plenty. They work with you patiently and every time I’ve ordered new frames, it has always arrived on time.

Good experience with the staff here. They really tried to make sure the glasses worked well for me, even remaking the lens and tweaking the frames until I was comfortable. Highly recommend.

I came in for an eye exam by Dr. Kwok and had a great experience. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The process was efficient, while also being thorough. Dr. Kwok was happy to answer all my questions and addressed my concerns. One of the staff members was very patient in helping me understand my insurance benefits and picked out glasses that fit my needs. I was very satisfied with the excellent customer service at Eyetopia.

They rock! They are so experienced and so great at getting you exactly what you need and making your eyes the best they can be. Dr Kim took such great care of me and gives me lots of options to see whats best for me. I feel like the previous guys i went to just wanted my money then me out the door. These guys care. I had a miscommunication and ended up charging my insurance for contacts, meaning Id not be able to charge them for the more expensive and more needed glasses. Caroline convinced my insurance to reverse the charges and pay for my glasses instead! She rocked--found the perfect glasses for me and really listened. I am so excited about my new glasses! Go here... You wont regret it

Dr. Kwok and Dr. Kim are very nice and knowledge but unfortunately this will be the last time Im coming here.For the past four times Ive waited over 40 minutes to see a doctor. I thought this place had great reviews so I came here.This last time, my eyes were supposed to be for a check-up for a rash in my eye but they scheduled it as a contact fitting. I was very confused and was told to put my contacts in immediately and wait for at least 10 minutes. I waited for another 40 minutes (yes I was late to the appointment but called ahead to ask if I needed to reschedule, but they said to come in) Afterwards, Dr. kwok was very confused because I already has lenses fitted and ordered them so wasnt sure why I needed to fit again. Also, not sure if this is regular policy but you have to sign a financial agreement every time you pay, but the front desk gave me the form right before I was about to pay, which I had roughly an hour wait at the office but they didnt bother to give me the form.Ill find another optometrist, but hopefully eyetopia can coordinate internally better.

2021 - Ive been with Eyetopia since I moved to the Bay Area and I still feel the same way about Dr. Kim and her staff. Professional, friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I recommend everyone of all ages go to this establishment. You will not be disappointed.2014 - I was new to the bay area and needed an eye doctor. I checked yelp and found Eyetopia. Best decision ever! Dr. Kim is both warm, friendly and knowledgeable. She genuinely cares. Her staff is very helpful and friendly as well. I recommend her with no reservations.

My eye appointments are always a pleasant one! Staff and the optometrists are always prompt, efficient, pleasant and professional. Every visit is in and out with a smile on my face!

Eyetopia in Santa Clara has a convenient location. The front desk staff upon arrival was very attentive and professional. Dr. Kwok did an exceptional job explaining the exams and procedures during my visit. In addition she was very helpful and giving me a roadmap of further treatment plans in regards to my vision. If youre looking for a friendly staff competent Healthcare Professionals in a relaxed environment I would suggest taking your eye care needs to this establishment.

My family has been going here for a few years now. Easy to get an appointment, they are always on time, and the Drs and front staff are great. They know how to get the most for me out of my insurance and their selection while small is nice. Just wish they had more kids glasses options.

Very good service and the doctor can speak Chinese Mandarin which makes the communication a lot easier for me. And they have some good sport frames.

Ive always had a pleasant experience. They were very patient with me when I was trying on contact lenses and taking a loooong time. Im very happy with the service and everyone is very friendly.

I do not like the customer service.They make you sign before check up then they will send you a bill which they say your insurance doesnt cover it. They have to know what the insurance covered and have to give service according to the coverage. If they do not know they have to ask the insurance carrier before starting service. They charge me more than my insurance covered it. I want good treatment according my insurance. If it cost more they have to ask me the out of pocket money before starting service. I will remind you to ask them before signing the paper.

I have been coming to this place for years and the service has always been outstanding. The staff are all very friendly and Dr. Kim is very easy going and knowledgeable.
