Last week my mom purchased new lenses and frames. The day we were there she was not feeling well and as it turned out the frames she selected were not to her liking at all. We called the Westfield Valley Lens Crafters and they invited us to come in to look for new frames. In the end, with the wonderful help of Miss Nguyen, mom found a new frame and for only $18.00 more than she initially paid, all due to Miss Nguyen taking the time and having the patience to go the extra mile. The doctor gave me a WRONG prescription. When I had my eye exam, I asked the doctor to give me the same prescription as my old lenses. Then she tested the old lenses, and gave me the WRONG prescription! But I already used the WRONG prescription to purchase a glass. Totally a waste of money and time. Unprofessional service.

This branch of LensCrafters has very friendly staff but the service is NOT great. I ordered glasses 4 weeks ago and it has still not arrived. When I call to get a status on my glasses that I paid for, they cant seem to find any info on the status and say they will call back after checking with a positioned manager. They NEVER call back. I have to keep calling them just for a simple piece of info.

The customer service is horrible, long wait time, I made an appointment I wait 30 minutes to finally they call me they didnt even apologize for the wait. The dr was rude she did the test so fast like she was bother. Then I wait another 20 minutes to get help to get my glasses the person helped he keeps standing go do something else while I was waiting for him didnt excuse himself i just asked for the price for the frame took so long to do it finally he did then rush my order because one of her friends walk in and he wants to help that client. I asked him im done you didnt do the measurements he said is ok you will when you get the glasses. He mentioned today we are short staff like was my fault or was his excuse, It took 2 hours my visit my appointment was at 3pm I left at 5pm very disappointed with the service. I work with the public myself and I know this is that the way you tread your customers to keep your business

They dont hold contacts in the store. Emergency replacement contact lenses not available and take 2 weeks to arrive.

I would not go there again after being many years of loyal customer. We are the people dont want to try out new things, as long as its still works. Yesterday, it reaches the turning point. We go there to get new pair of eye classes every year because we have insurance to cover it. Each time we go, we are asked to have eye exam first, even we said there is no need as we know our vision didnt change. Last year, we did the exam with a little stronger prescription, but we ends up going back the old prescription as our eyes doesnt get use to it. This time, we are asked to have exam again which we dont want, but have to. And, we need to pay for out of pocket of retina scan which cost $40 more. We were about to walk out, then the manager came offer us a discount of $50 to cover frame charges. We proceed to get 2 pairs glasses (frame +lenses) for myself and my husband. Again, I had the new glasses for few days, cant get use to the prescription, went back to lower it to my old one. At the check out, the store manager returned my old one and charge me the new one without honoring the $50 discount, with very stupid reasons, such as 2 different transactions, cant use it again... for over 20mins. Just cant seem to make any sense, I returned both glasses, walk out...very unhappy. This place is absolutely disaster for customers - unfriendly staff, changing all the time, eye optometrist is new every time. They are impatience, unprofessional and not knowledgeable of what they do. I feel bad for them, but I am not going to keep such feeling any more. No more LensCrafters at Valley Fair!!!

I bought 2 ray ban frames exactly alike, for regular n sunglasses. Regular glasses broke bc LensCrafters carved the lens too big. How do I know? The reg lens ray bans legs bow out a lot; the sunglasses do not. Bought in Oct 2016, it’s Nov 2017, out of warranty. I get that. So I had them move the reg lens to the unbroken ray ban frames. I check it 30 mins later n notice a crack that wasn’t there before. I call LensCrafters. Their response? Any adjustments we make, we are not liable for any damages. The disclaimer was the first time I heard it; it was never stated prior to the adjustment. 2nd conversation in person resulted in a 50$ discount towards another pair of frames for lens that will again cause frame breakage. I will never return to LensCrafters again. I highly recommend avoiding LensCrafters. They are neither about quality or customer service. They may be technically correct with their disclaimer, although the disclaimer wasn’t stated prior to the adjustment, but they failed to make it right, since it initially was their poor quality lens built too large for the frames I purchased here, in the first place.

Ordered glasses five days ago. They told me that the glasses will be ready the next day and they will call me as soon as they are ready. After five days of waiting I called them myself. A robot on the phone line said that the store is closed as of today and I have to call support. I called support where they said that for store orders I should call the store. I have no idea what to do next. Do not recommend to have any deal with them.

I have gotten my last 3 pairs of prescription eye glasses here along with the last two eye exams. I called Sunday around 12:30pm no answer, called at 1:00pm and was told I would be given a call back. Called again at 2:00pm and was told my information has been passed along and that everyone is busy. I was then told that I would receive a call in 30 mins. 5:00pm hits and well I decided to give it another try and the same person answered the phone and offered me to leave another message for someone to call me back on monday. What the hell? This is absolutely crazy. I decided to call the blossom hill location and got my replacement lenses done by 6pm

One of worst experience went twice after driving 27 miles each side at this “flagship “location for a single purchase where the employee screwed up “measurement was taken incorrectly“ and still unable to find the issue. Waited over 3 weeks and still with the same problem. Completely waste of time and completely frustrating experience! Better seek another retailer who cares and value customer.

The people are really nice, but be careful about the price. I was quoted something followed up by but Im not sure. Got up to the front desk and there was an extra $75 for part of the exam that I didnt think I would have to pay. Be very careful and make sure youre talking to the right person about the price.

Decided to ditch my long time eye doctor for this place because they had the frames I wanted. Had my exam done and was told that my eyes had dramatically changed and that my bad eye had gotten better and my good one had gotten worse. Since I can still see very well out of my old glasses, I couldnt see how this was true. I called my insurance and asked if I could get a second opinion instead of waiting for another year. They allowed it and I went to Winchester Optometry. That eye exam showed LITTLE change. Just what I thought. So now I am trying to find the frames I want so I can buy them and take them to this other office. OH AND Lens Crafters told me they were providers for my insurance and THEY ARENT. Beware....Check Check Check

Wow - reading all these ratings, I guess I got really lucky. I went in there 1.5 hrs before close to get some prescription sports safety glasses made. They were attentive, quick, efficient and the glasses were done in exactly 1 hr as promised. Going back for more today. Get with Mayte if you are having problems. She rocks. But everyone else was really nice too. Maybe they turned over their staff. I know its more difficult to find good help in a strong economy, so you have to factor that it as well. Wish you my luck next time !!

I dont know why they have such bad reviews. They were all very nice, super helpful, and got me glasses the same day in an emergency. I came here only because I literally had to have glasses the same afternoon. They made it happen, and gave me great service while they did. I dont know how much you can ask for.

I wouldnt buy glasses here.I walked up to the front desk to ask for help and told me theyll get someone to help me, but after 20 minutes I was completely ignored, even though the store wasnt crowded.I was ready to make a purchase, but they treated me like this. What they sell isnt cheap and Im not supporting a business who treats their customers like this.

I wouldnt be surprised to discover later that I was being punked.I had a 10am appointment for which I showed up early, the store opened at 10:15, I fill out the paperwork and sit for another while. I eventually leave when nobody has addressed anything and get a call at 10:45 saying I have an appointment and theyre ready for me but Im not there. When challenged on the phone is the first time anyone says sorry or even acknowledged that they were late.Staff were nice enough, but this place has no idea how to run a business. Dont go here, they dont care about your time.
