Best storage place i have ever had

This place is amazing. The staff are always helpful and they actually PAY ATTENTION to who goes in. It is very secure so you dont have to worry about anybody stealing your stuff (which actually happens a LOT in Santa Maria). It is always clean. Great prices too! Id recommend this storage place to anybody that wants to keep their belongings SAFE and SECURE!

All of my stuff was damaged from rats my new mattress was chewed in multiple spots the staff is exceptional but i definitely wouldnt rent there ever again.

So now since these new managers, we have to drive to the key pad then back up and go in the opposite direction to enter in all while making sure we get thru said gate before it closes again!!! They have raised the rates each year while NO improvements are done what so ever! I started renting In 2015 @$55 now 4 years later we are up to $85 for a 5x10!!!! Short gate periods (6:45) make it HARD for 9-5s to access there stuff!!! If I could give no stars i would!

I have been in 4 different storage facilities in Santa Maria. The price is fair and the management is great. I would recommend highly.

I really liked the managers here. They were very nice and made storing here really easy and simple. The units are very safe and the entire area was really clean. Really happy with my experience here.

I have been with this storage for many years as has different family members of mine. We have never had any issues with the managers until recently. In the beginning there was a very nice elderly couple that worked there and we never had issues with them. But now since they hired new help we have had some unsatisfactory customer service. One manager has been rude on the phone and in person as well. Not only was she extremely unhelpful but also did not conduct herself in a professional manner. If I was the owners I would have her removed from my staff effective immediately. No customer should receive any type of backlash for asking about getting into the unit that they pay for every month. I will soon be taking my business else where. I will not recommend this storage facility to anyone anymore.

I have been with Canyon Self Storage for over 4 years and still find the facility clean and safe. The staff are very helpful and professional. I would recommend this facility to anyone

Very clean and very competitive rates. I checked this and a few other places out in Santa Maria and decided on Canyon because of the price and because of the managers. They were extremely helpful since this was our first storage experience.

Went in to give my notice that I would be moving all my belongings out today. The older man that worked there was very rude disrespectful towards me and snapped about not getting any money back. . I told him that I didn’t expect to get any back . That’s ok . Just the way older man approach me talked to me was unacceptable. I was very disappointed dissatisfied with his manners interrupted every time female worker older lady tried to get a word in he continued to interrupt our conversation word with. Tone he took with me so rude . I had a 5_10 storage locker it fit my 1 bedroom apartment in there all my furniture. 1 side gate was broken and would not open. They wanted u to make u turn instead of left turn which made no sense to me. Unpleasant experience. . I would not recommend this storage unit to anyone. . I assure u this since dealing with this unhappy man on more than one occasion seeing the same way he acts towards other customers to I refuse to rent again from this company. Secure storage, fast in and out.

Its decent... but they are raising prices soon which is inconvienent. Definitely secure... slightly dank but not moist enough to cause issues. No noticeable pest/bug infestion. We will continue to use them as needed

My friend told me about this storage n explained to me how the rules, regulations, policy and procedure. And new i want my first storage to be a worry and stress free experience. Leaving my belonging i mean everything i worked so hard for, alone in some garage . Was very dramatic for me.. with cannon self storage u can sleep at night knowing as long as i pay my storage no one will be going THRU my things .. they close at 6:45 evey 15 mins after that is $20 bucks . If u want to authorize some one else to enter your unit photo ID .. i --
