I was out right scammed by this dealership! I had financing taken care of but the dealership never sent documentation to my lender in a readable format. My lender contacted the dealership multiple times letting them know they couldnt see the documents sent to them. This occurrence happened multiple times. I was made to feel like it was my fault when I had everything in order. I traded in my car for about $4000 and put down $3000. At the end of the day I had to return the car I purchased and they sent me a check for a little over $1,000. This is one dealership I would avoid.
While many times I have thought highly of this establishment, it’s safe to say I won’t go here anymore. They are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE and sometimes the communication really gets lost. The biggest problem I have is the price. A simple oil change is $180!! I have done them myself and have had them done at other places for $40. I have had some places do them as a courtesy! Many times I tried to get an update on my car, and they said they would call me back, and then promptly didn’t. Or I would call about my car and someone would say one thing and I would call again and other person would say the exact opposite! I want to say that Jessie, one of the service people, was very good with communicating with me, but when she was gone, it was very hard to get ANY update about my vehicle
I needed a new battery for my pristine 2015 GMC canyon . I understood that it would cost more at Santa Monica Buick GMC rather than my regular South Bay GMC dealer. The mechanic had trouble trying to diagnose the problem ? when I got the truck back they had scratched the interior near the door latch and the blue tooth would not connect the phone. These people do not respect your vehicle .
Friendly and efficient service at drop-off site, clear explanations of services to be provided, and detailed explanation of the finished work; also, I used the waiting area in the show room during part of the service, and it was comfortable, safe, and quiet. A great experience from beginning to end.
I made an appointment to get a recall taken care of on my 11 Yukon. Dealer called me a day ahead to confirm. Dropped the truck off on time, Service Writer Angel Duran was ready for me. Recall (air bag replacement) was completed along with another issue on time. I picked up the vehicle and it had been washed. Service department was very friendly and professional, wont hesitate to use again.

Working with Adiss was the best experience I ever had when it comes to buying from a dealership. He was very prompt and motivated to helping me get into the truck I’ve always wanted. After calling 18 other dealership that gave me a run around, Adiss never left me hanging. He shot me straight information and got me so motivated to come down the same day I called, that I bought my Truck by the end of the day. I couldn’t be any happier with the total experience and outcome of coming to this dealership. Note to add: Adiss drove all the way to my home on his day off to drop off my person belongings I left in my truck that I traded in. He drove over 2 1/2 hours just one way to deliver what I needed. 100 stars for Adiss! It’s hard to find good honest people like Adiss! Ask for him when you go to this dealership. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent experience. Had the truck I was looking for in route, placed a hold on it for me without asking for a deposit. Since I was more than 3 hours away, I flew into LAX. Salesman, Adiss, volunteered to pick me up at the airport and take me to the dealership. Very professional in every way. The purchase of my truck was one of the easiest vehicle purchases I have made.Hannah quoted me a very good price and that is what I paid out the door. Guillermo delivered the truck to me, he answered any questions I had and did a good job explaining some of the options on the truck. He was very helpful and easy to work with!
Buying a vehicle with them is easy enough but good luck if you trade in your vehicle. Back in February we traded in our civic and here we are 3 months later, receiving toll violations for a car that no longer belongs to us. Luckily this toll violation lead us to realizing they never paid off our previous vehicle either!! After multiple emails and calls to the dealership were still unable to get an answer. When we call, the receptionist picks up and begins to transfer us to the finance department but after being placed on hold we get told “They’re closing other deals”. Avoid this stealership at all costs. Still trying to get ahold of someone there. Hopefully this catches their attention.
First of all I called a day before an asked what time the dealership is going to open on Saturday morning and I was told at 7 AM I got there at 7:00 AM on Saturday morning and I noticed that it would open at 8 o’clock .At 8:07 I finished the initial paperwork and I was told that the car would be ready in an hour so I left the dealership and came back around 8:45 and I just noticed that my car was still sitting where I had parked.By the time the car was ready it was 9:50 in the morning .I was the first customer checked in and I noticed that two other customers who came after me already left before me.It was so frustrating that I had to wait for two hours for an oil change!
75 minutes is a bit much for an oil change when you have an appointment, but the staff were cordial.

Ryan Smiley, the internet manager was such a huge help. He tried his best to get everything I wanted and nearly did that. He found me the exact car I was looking for and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Even the nice man who DELIVERED my car to me was a real sweetheart. He took the time to show me all the fancy things my car could do.. even though it was raining! This is a very classy, top of the line dealership.
I brought my car in for a vehicle check because the check engine light was on. My car needed a new fuse block. This is at least a $1300 repair. I was never called to inform me of the status of my car. I had to always call myself to find out what was going on. I was without my car for a week and was not given a loaner. I finally went down to the service station to ask what was going on and they said they were waiting for the part still. When I got my car back stuff was stolen out of it while it was in your possession. The service was very bad and I was offered a free tire rotation for my troubles. When you spend this much on a repair you expect people to be more responsive and helpful.

When I arrived they did not tell me the tire person was out to lunch, so Im waiting thinking my car has been diagnosed. Finally after waiting so long I asked about my car, then they let me know. That was poor customer service. I do not want to go back.
Had to get my car towed in this morning. I do have extended warranty but unsure if the diagnosis would approve me for a loaner vehicle. I’m working in the area (ish) from out of state temporarily but work is 35+ miles away from where I’m staying and NEEDED a vehicle. Unable to get a diagnosis soon enough in order to get a loaner today, Jessie in the service department went above and beyond to make sure I walked out today with a car while my car is in service. Amazing customer service hands down!

Easy to drop off my truck and quick service plus a free car wash. The only reasons they didnt get 5 stars is because when I called after hours for my appointment I got an email from a service manager who doesnt work there anymore, so know one called me back. My 2nd complaint is that they ArmorAlld my floor mats (dumb and dangerous)

I had the most positive experience working with Santa Monica at Buick GMC. From beginning to end my time spent there was efficient and seamless. I felt comfortable the entire time. Both Izzy and Andre were straightforward and open about expenses, various leasing/purchasing plans, and answering ALL of my questions. They stayed late to help me get all my paperwork in order and not once made me feel like I was keeping them. I ended up going with a Buick lease because it was the best fit for my lifestyle. I left feeling great about the entire transaction. The team there is so terrific, I may just drop by when in the area to say hi and grab some delicious coffee! 10/10! I came in late at 7pm, and the staff was very easy going and kind. They had to work till 10pm because of me. I have been at other dealers, and the sales people were usually very aggressive and manipulative. With these staff, I never had the feeling they were trying to make a quick deal. Reality Duvall (ask for her) was super nice, patient, friendly and personable. Her manager, Eduardo Garcia, was also very fair and helpful. Jonathan Campos was very patient, calm and serving. Everything was straightforward and no BS.

I was only window shopping for a car as my previous lease was set to expire in a few months, but I found the PERFECT Acadia AT4 and signed the papers all in the same day. Nej and the rest of the staff were amazing to work with, they blew the other two GMC dealerships I was working with out of the water. SO happy with my new car, Nej is the man!!! Worst service ever took my truck in they kept it for 3 weeks and when they gave it back to me I almost killed myself and my whole family the breaks stopped working on the Fwy i called them and asked to speak to the maintenance manager and i’m still waiting on a call back

Ive had mix feeling in the past but mainly positive. I own a 2010 Buick Enclave, and I always service it at your location, and one of the things you guys are really good at is:- Customer service- Handling the drop-off of the vehicle- One-on-one with the customer to make sure to understand the issues the vehicle has and what needs to be fixed vs. not- And most important of all communications and I cannot stress that more. You guys are amazing at that and when you say it will be delivered at certain day or time, it usually will.

Had my car serviced like a week ago and Ive never had such a easy experience. Their serve advisor Efrain took care of me and updated me constantly via text over the progress, prices and solutions. Due to my busy work schedule it was so convenient to not have to answer phone call etc. Ive never had a service advisor updating me about every single detail what was going on with my car. Great people at the service department, terrible at the sales department.Just had another horrendous experience with this dealership. Please try to avoid this place if you can. I will tell you without names.My lease on a GMC is due and I called to set up an appointment to return, they flat out said that they will not take the car I leased from them!I called three other dealerships and they also said NO!I called GM Financial and told them my story and they said will get back to me. Guess what? No one did. Second call, same thing. Third time I spoke to a supervisor and she told me, yes, we know your story, we spoke to Martin Cadillac and you should talk to their new sales manager and they will take your car. Call them and you should be fine.Guess what? The woman at Martin Cadillac told me that they are not owned by GM Financial and you can go somewhere else. She wouldnt let me talk.If I could give minus stars, I would.
Shady Operation. Waste of time. This is why they are one of the lowest volume GMC stores in the country. The Manager is definitely the main issue here as he will drag you down and run your credit more than once and then offer you something that is completely different from what was expected. Also the receptionist laughed at me when I had asked her a simple question... HAHA! The only thing that is funny here is your guys joke of an operation called Santa Monica BUICK GMC. Fully of lies and a scandalous staff for the most part. However I give credit where its due, Edward my sales guy knows absolutely nothing about what he is talking about or selling but he is definitely a good story teller that makes up a bunch of BULL. I will be contacting GM North America about this matter. Do your self a favor and STAY AWAY!!!

So let me start off with some good things Jonathan in the sales department is absolutely amazing, very helpful and extremely professional.However I was returning a lease and dropped the car off for inspection. No big deal very routine thing. I believe the inspection was going to take an hour and I left property in the vehicle that I was going to retrieve before I fully turned in the lease.I came the next day to get my property and I noticed a few and unvaluable things missing. Maybe they got moved during the inspection? I didnt want to jump to conclusions thinking someone stole my property. However the more that I thought about it the more it didnt make any sense and then I realized that I was missing more property (thats valuable) than I originally remembered when I was at the dealership. I have a very busy schedule and dont have time to be wasting on missing property that should have been there. I feel that I made it very clear that I was coming back to get my belongings.Hopefully this issue gets resolved. Ill be speaking with the manager tomorrow.It just very upsetting. How many people has this happened to?Just a little agitated right now.Other than this experience all of my other experiences with staff at Martin Cadillac have been Pleasant.

I must commend the staff for being very patient, courteous and knowledgeable. There was no pressure to make a purchase and they gave me a lot of time to choose the car that was right for me.
This dealership is awful. The car was damaged while being prepped and I had to haggle for hours for them to offer me a small amount back after papers had been signed. It has been over 2 weeks and I STILL do not have the check. There was a rattle in the car that was supposed to be fixed. They claim it took over a week to get the part and then 2 days to get it in and it is still not fixed. There was staining on the passenger seat. I was told when it went in to fix the rattle that it would be re-detailed by dealer staff and it was not, but it was still delivered back to me. They washed the outside, but did NOT detail the inside or even vacuum the car for that matter. This has honestly been the worst car buying experience I have had in about 20 years. Every bit of info I was given was not true and took way longer that was told. No call from any management or anything......AWFUL. I will tell people to STAY AWAY.
Armando was outstanding as he immediately diagnosed the issue with our satellite not working properly. A few hours later we had the car and the compass calibration was working, as well. He went out of his way to make our experience a good one!!Michael Moore also assisted with an issue regarding a dealer added item (not Martin) and was most helpful. Both service advisors and the cashier (on duty Saturday afternoon) are an excellent example of stellar service!Thank you. ;
As a consumer, I’m still uncertain as to why I was responsible for processing my own title work. I purchased my vehicle from, what I thought, was a reputable dealer so that the transaction was seamless. I bought my Escalade back in October and still cannot register my vehicle in my state. No one from the dealership calls me back and I’ve now had to hire an attorney just so I can register my vehicle in my state. Horrible customer service. Definitely not the normal Cadillac experience. Beware!

When I bought my car from them, it came with lots of promises, like the 5x free oil changes. So when GM folded Martin merely refused me my last 3 free oil changes...and their services cost about double what I pay elsewhere!They have a VIP program where they wash your car for free anytime, but you end up waiting for more than an hour+ every time - AND they do an average job at best...fine scratches everywhere!
When I first went to Martin Cadillac I was totally turned off by the entire staff. It seems as if no one cared about the customer.I am very pleased to write that the staff has literally did a 180 degree turn for the best. I was greeted with a smile and the service advisor even came out to process me early!I do not write this sarcastically because on prior visits the doors would open exactly on the hour; no smiles just strictly business.I would recommend Martin Cadillac as a perfect place to buy and service their vehicle. The issue was fixed for the most part but still happening just not as frequently. I didnt get a call for days to inform me of the status of my car. Luckily my service advisor did offer me a free loaner which I appreciated because Ive paid for a rental and I feel like Im always there for SOMETHING! Follow up calls after the issue has been fixed would be nice. I enjoy my service advisor and everyone who works there is really nice, but maybe some of my frustration is with the car itself and the fact that Im in there more frequently than Id like.
Ron and Chad did a great job finding me a lease within my budget. I appreciate their clear and direct communication.Gurgen in service is also great.I recommend working with Martin Cadillac!

My experience was stress-free, fast and helpful, including getting me to and from work on time while the vehicle was being repaired. Lol. The way the staff at Martin Cadillac treats customers make you feel like that they don’t care about their job or customers. I don’t know what type of training they get for customer service, but definitely doesn’t make a person want to come back twice. I love my car, but I will definitely change the dealership when I renew/ change my lease.
