Ive had bad storage facility experiences in the past that left me feeling unsure about trusting the safety of my belongings. But I definitely feel that my things are safe and secure. She treated me and my wife like family. I met the manager the next day. She was very helpful and kind too. Cathy walked my wife through the new auto pay. It recently exchange hands. And my wife could not get it the auto pay. Boy Cathy had us fixed up in no time. Thank you ladies for your help and understanding.

I LOVE this company! The staff is friendly, helpful, and stand behind their commitments. Their philosophy seems to be, “yes is the answer, now what’s the question?” My unit was clean upon arrival (the entire facility is clean and spiffy!), and the staff is on top of things. Location is perfect - close to downtown and the keys. I have owned a self storage facility myself in Ohio, and I know the business. These guys know what they’re doing, and most importantly, understand customer service. I’m a customer for life!

My non-profit starting using a medium storage space here during COVID after converting to online meetings and no longer holding office space. The staff has been amazing help us, because more than one person has to come and go, get our account set up and help us make this leap.Shari and Matt helped me add names to the account and were untroubled by our unusual methods.The location is central and yo, this place is CLEAN.

My experience so far has been really amazing! From the beginning I got the help I needed finding a space. I received a great promo too! The manager Toccara is of great help. I get calls when my packages are delivered. They keep a key in the office to receive all packages. I am so happy to have found such a needed help in times of covid, and so conveniently located. Definitely recommend this location!

Tracey was pleasant and gave me immediate attention when I entered. She was able to bring up my reservation and confirm my rental preferences. She advised on needed locks. She gave a guided tour of the facility and advised me of rules for the grounds. The unit was shown to me before rental, and it was customer ready (clean). Back in the office, she walked me through the line items of the invoice and mentioned the special discounts I was receiving. In general, she was personable and inquired about my moving to Sarasota. Tracey gave me a copy of the invoice, provided a pamphlet with the gate code, and she even walked out to make sure the code worked for me. She said she would be in the office the following days if I wanted to take advantage of the 20% discount on moving supplies.The units look brand new. I felt safe. This was my first day (initial move in). In addition to Tracey, another employee Tina was on the grounds. She greeted me. I observed her on a ladder and walking the storage halls on the second floor.Overall, I am impressed with the units and process here. All employees were friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

I first rented a space, via phone, from another state. The staff made me feel like a relative was helping me accomplish this!A year later, after moving to Sarasota, I went in person, to rent an additional space and worked with Tina, who made the transaction as smooth as possible!Later this year, again, I wanted to add another locker, and Tina stepped up again with her big smile and friendly manner!These are the BEST people to do business with! They do everything to accommodate your storage/moving needs!! I give them a5-Star rating!!

My recent experience with the Life Storage location on Fruitville Rd, in Sarasota was excellent! Tina, the manager, was extremely helpful from the initial contact to securing my storage unit and on several occasions when I visited my unit. The facility is immaculate and all services were very professional. I would use this facility again and recommend it highly.

Not in a clean area, furniture and trash everywhere outside the building area. Super narrow pavement to drive on to get to your storage unit. No one follows the signs on where to park your car. If its crowded forget about getting to your storage unit. Gates looks like it might not open. Very dangerous blind spot when leaving through the gate.

Rented a storage unit while renovating my home. The space stayed remarkably dry with easy access to and from my home. Good security features and the staff is remarkable. Especially, Tina! She always took really good care of me when I needed anything.

You wouldnt expect the human touch at a storage place, but the staff at Life Storage are friendly, helpful, and thorough! (Special high 5 to Tina). Not to mention the monthly rates are the best around- and thats saying something here in Florida where storage facilities are on every corner.

We recently rented a storage unit at this location and have had a very pleasant experience with everyone we have dealt with. The only problem I had is their hallway lights went off while I was somewhat buried in my storage unit and there is no light in the unit itself. I checked with the front office staff and they said that the hall lights are on a motion sensor timer and went off due to their not being anyone walking in the hallway for a while. So periodically, I had to walk down to the end of the hallway to keep activating the lights to stay on.

We have used this storage facility for years. Cannot imagine going anyplace else. Tina is amazing! The grounds are clean and safe .Highly recommend!THNAK YOU TINA for the fastest upgrade to another unit ever..

Clean and convenient for Downtown 👌... A bit more than most places.. but its the only one that is downtown and Its a good place for me. My family and I can walk to the storage unit in a few minutes from anywhere in the downtown area

All of the representatives at budget have been extremely nice and accommodating. I did have a billing issue that (once reported) was resolved personally by regional management! ...and quickly! Not only was the issue resolved expediently, but I was given a clear sense of genuine concern as a customer that Budget aims to please! Made arrangements over the phone initially and when I walked in to take possession of the space, Tina made it so easy. Ive never placed items in a storage unit until we had to stage our home for sale. I therefore had no experience with self storage. I admit I had a fairly dim view of the hold process. Life Storage on Fruitville Rd in Sarasota is operated by two excellent people - Mary and Tina. They are extremely kind, caring, courteous and professional. Just a small example is their help finding me a metal bar to go with my wardrobe box that was missing one. Instead of having to buy a completely new box with the metal bar, they were kind enough to locate one for me and then took the time to call me to let me know they had found one. I highly recommend this facility because of the excellent management.

Budget Self Storage is Top Notch! We were burned badly by another local storage facility, and when we inquired about Budgets fees, etc., we were very suspicious. However, Laura is as good as her word in every way. The facility is always so clean and safe-feeling, and I have never had an unpleasant encounter with any staff or clientele. Thank you, Budget, for being the complete opposite of a bad business!

They gave my grandmother a horrible time when my grandfather passed. You would have thought that there were diamonds and gold stored in there. My grandfather had a unit here for over 12 years. Their customer service is absolutely a disgrace. I would rather store my items in a wet paper bag outside than here.
