I ran over a raised concrete manhole. Car was making a subtle grinding noise when I gave it lots of gas. Took it to a nearby place. They said they fixed it, but the grinding persisted. Went to Autoplex on a recommendation from a neighbor. It took them a while to diagnose - turns out it was difficult to replicate on the lift. But they finally figured out what the issue was - the plastic heat shield was rubbing up against something (drive shaft maybe?). Great work and thankfully an easy and cheap fix once they figured it out. Trimmed the plastic away and I was out the door for about $50. Thanks!

I needed a tire plug but I was on a time restraint, they could not get to me but he filled my tire with air which was a tremendous help and I plug the tire myself, he didnt know it but he saved the day for me!

While I payed a pretty penny with all the things I needed for my poor car, I couldnt have paid it to a better establishment. All the guys working there were incredibly kind, patient, and had great customer service! When I asked them to explain what was wrong, they explained thoroughly and in terms I understood without sounding condescending. Towing was a very reasonable price compared to what I have had, and they performed speedy service knowing that I was missing work. I had my car freak on my 3 times in a week and a half, 2 of which it completely broke down, and was fully updated on the status of my car during care as well as price expectations along the way. Theyll always take care of my car!

We went in for mounting an balancing and they kept messing up cause I wanted tires rotated as well. So now my car has all these lights that popped up on my dash and wasnt there til after went there. Im really confused what happen.

I wish these guys were in my town.My car died on family vacation. They found a huge mistake my hometown mechanic made and got me fixed up. Easily could have ripped me off or added on unnecessary services, but they didnt. They even gave me a ride home and back to shop while they worked on it. Good people. Good work. How it should be. I spoke with JR on the phone before going into the shop and he was very kind. He listened to the issues I was having with my car and said he would be happy to help me. As soon as I brought it in he looked at it right away and solved the issue within minutes. It felt like a family member was helping me out. It was a very positive experience and I feel 100% comfortable with bringing my car in in the future.

I went in for a 4 wheel alignment. No appointment, but they got me in and done in about an hour - which means they started on it right away. I paid $85, less than expected. Easy and painless, thanks guys.

I was in Savannah area from Cleveland Ohio. Fuel pump went out on my truck on Wednesday. I called and they said theyd get it done for me. Had it towed to them. They had to order pump and was supposed to be done next day at just under $900. Next day comes and they call me to tell me they had to switch out the fuel tank due to o-ring being rusted. Another $200 and another day of no truck. Then next day upon installing tank and pump they call and say they have to replace fuel lines but they have to be ordered from dealer and wont be there and ready until Monday. So 5 days and a total of $2,000. I took the previous fuel tank home with me to hopefully recoup some money. It took me less than 2 minutes to get the rusted o-ring off with absolutely no damage to tank. So they basically replaced the tank without needing to and with all of the extra work replacing it jarred the fuel lines to cause leak when it was completely unnecessary. They also put a new o-ring on the tank they replaced so if they had attempted to take the rusted one off they couldve just replaced the o-ring and been finished.

Consistently good and honest service. I have shopped around on prices many times and always find them competitive. Not often you get told your car is in great shape and not to do something. Makes you trust Joey and his team to be be honest when they do tell you need something. I also like the fact that they will run you home in your own car and work with you scheduling. They also have a full car detailing crew on the lot so you can get your car cleaned after its serviced too.If you are looking for a local auto shop with great service and honesty you can not go wrong here.

They charge me for a new differential and only filled the gasket will sealant. They also put 300 plus mile on my truck . I have seen the workers test drive the car it seem more like a joy ride then a test

These guys are amazing! They went above and beyond. As a parent one of our worst nightmares is being stuck on the side of the road with our children. My alternator went out not far from Autoplex with my 18 month old baby in the back during 5:00 traffic. The guys from Autoplex made sure we were safe back on the road the very next day. Im forever grateful.

Great service! I had two nails in my tire. He told me that one did not actually puncture through and only charged me to patch the other. Extremely honest! Could have easily charged me for both without me being the wiser. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

Went here to have a diagnostic for my transmission for my warranty company- things did not work out well for me with my warranty company. However I felt Autoplex went above and beyond to try to help me -like spending over an hour on the phone when theyre not getting paid for that and probably holding up their work in the garage to try to help me. I would definitely recommend them as a fair and honest place -where youre not rushed and are given the time and explanation so you understand how things are working. If you live on the island theres no reason to go anywhere else!

They were here when I left and when I returned 16 years later they were still here. Joey and his team started the process, friendly, informative and trying to solve my problem. I have never had customer service like I get at Autoplex on Wilmington island. These guys are extremely professional, and they will always go out of their way to take care of their customers. When my cousin came to visit me from out of town, her car broke down. I was at work and couldnt get away to come and help her. I called Autoplex and they were there in five minutes and she was on the road in 10. I will always use these guys and refer them to anyone who needs work done on their car. These guys rock.

We were on vacation staying in the area for the week when are car had issues with the brakes that caused them to wear down to he metal. The grinding just started the prior day . I called and took it in that day. They repaired the rear brakes and did not over charge me and the performed well that day.
