While we waited a week or so for the vehicle to arrive on the lot, Malcolm kept us notified of updates. We have never had such a pleasurable encounter with any other dealership. I think we have found our new home to buy a Subaru.

My experience with the sales staff was great. Josh was professional, personable and knew his product or got the answers to my many questions. I never felt uncomfortable with him during the sales process.We did have to wait over an hour for the Finance Manager. We had lunch, got the insurance binder, walked around the building, walked around the store.....There were times when we were the only ones on the showroom floor. Not a soul to be found.This is how cars were sold in the 90s when I was selling cars. I have been driving a fleet vehicle for 10+ years and truly thought the process would have changed. It has not.All told, we were in the dealership for three hours. It is quicker to buy a house.

These are pictures of the 2021 Subaru Outback Limited Xt with 63 miles on it at time of purchase. I bought this vehicle Tuesday February 16 2021. I noticed some corrosion on the top of the engine Wednesday morning and promptly took the car back to the dealership less than 24 hours after purchase. The corrosion in my opinion as a non ASE vehicle mechanic is extensive. There is corrosion on top of the engine, the intercooler, the transmission, the upper control arms, the electrical grounds in the engine compartment, there is even signs of corrosion on the plastic for the electrical connectors.The dealership has told me it does not fall under the Manufacturer warranty and has laid all responsibility of fixing this at the feet of the manufacturer. The dealership has said the vehicle is functioning as intended. In my opinion they have sold me a non new vehicle. Please inspect any possible purchase you make because you might be the only person that does.Subaru of America is working a response for me but this has been a horrible week of passing the buck and empty phone calls about how no one could have known the vehicle would look like this. I feel in the end my situation will be taken care of. I dont know if I would be in the same situation if I hadnt looked under my car immediately after purchase. I know for a fact I wouldnt have bought it if I had looked prior to purchase.The dealership has stopped returning my calls as of yesterday. Please inspect before you regret.

Excellent experience from A to Z. We got the car options we wanted in the color we wanted for a fair price from CP Subaru. Malcom, Josh, and finance team were all very helpful, efficient and directly responsive compared to others. We essentially got a Lexus-level of service buying this new Outback!.... and, on a side note, Buying a new car in 2021 was no trip in the park. Other auto dealers seemed to play hard ball with shortage of inventories, long waiting time, pushing unwanted colors or models, etc... not this dealership. I can see why people love their Subaru cars.

I would not waste your time here. Myself and other family members have been Subaru owners for years. One thing Ive liked about Subaru is in general Ive always experienced honest and respectful sales representatives which makes the process simple and stress free. Unfortunately it only takes one bad apple to ruin the experience. I had a sales man literally stand up and walk away from me because I was aware of what my vehicle was worth and they were not willing to match it. They were thousands off not just a few hundred which I wouldve been understanding of. The sales man was not interested in us as a customer at all and was more concerned about the car show they were hosting to fill their lot. Do youre research before you go. Unless you have to have a Subaru, there are other dealers that are close by that will provide a much better experience.

Busy suby dealership! Dropped of on Saturday not expecting the work to be completed until Thursday. They called on Tuesday with the work completed. When I picked up I had low pressure in a tire but overall pleased.

I have never enjoyed the car buying experience. Always, in the past, very high pressured. And, I can remember even way back (I am in my seventies), the car sales person told me to go home and come back with my husband!!!!! I cannot imagine that happening in this day and time.I have been looking at the Subaru lineup for 8 months before going to the showroom. All it takes is one sleazy salesperson to bring down the ratings for a dealership, and unfortunately, I had to be the customer. I had to wait an obnoxious amount of time for the salesperson to come back and give me a low offer on my vehicle, and when I told them what I knew my car was worth, they promptly stood up and said okay, bye. It was clear that they were out for a quick sale and wanted nothing to do with me. Im aware of the chip shortage and the impact its having on dealerships. I was doing THEM a favor by even considering selling my car to them. They lost out, and Grainger Honda just down the road gave me a much better deal (and a way better experience).

My service advisor was very knowledgeable & organized. He gave me regular updates on the progress of my vehicle. The quality of the work was very good.

I towed my 15 Forester in because it was having acceleration trouble, turned out I had overfilled my oil at the end of a long road trip. The problem was solved with an oil change. While they adressed that problem they found that my brakes and rotors were in very bad shape and very rusty. I came down from NY, and the winters up there are very rough on vehicles, but I had no idea my brakes were so bad. They replaced them and got me back on the road. Dustin took care of my car and answered all my questions. I am very pleased with their service and I will be making Chatham Pky Subaru my go to place for service on my Forester.

Update: On the day we got our 2021 Outback, 13 February, we asked if some after market stuff on the Jeep Wrangler we trade in were included on the trade in price, they werent, so we wanted those back to sell them because is about 600 dollars on modifications. Our sales man told us they were going to take care of those for us. Im 15 February I drove an hour from my house back to the dealership to pick up the after market stuff and was told by the Sales man that his MANAGER informed him that they can only take those for a price or o can take them myself, wish I wasnt expecting so I did brought any tools and went home to yet again having to drive another hour on Saturday 20 February. My wife requested to talk with the MANAGER because of the inconveniences and 4 hours total drive we had to do. The MANAGER straight up didnt took any responsibility and told us that the first time he heard about it was an hour ago.This manager do not care about you, just cares for your money!!!We are looking to buy a Subaru Crosstrek and will definitely not buy from this place!!!!!Take your time drive a bit farther to Peacock Subaru at Hilton Head. A friend of mine got a Subaru Ascent the same day we got out Outback from then and cheaper. He told me after we got the Outback that he went to Chatham Parkway Subaru and they wanted more money for the same vehicle he got on Peacock!!!I started communications with Mary and she was very friendly.Josh Dayutis was amazing and very friendly. I bought a Subaru Outback in December of 2019 from Jimmy at Chatham Parkway Subaru. 5 Star experience. When I was ready to buy a Forester, I emailed Jimmy and he had the deal ready for me when I arrived at the dealership. Another 5 star experience. After putting a few hundred miles on my 2020 Forester, I realized a problem that felt like a transmission issue. The service department took care of me however, could not resolve the issue even after getting techs from Subaru headquarters involved. Needless to say, I was heartbroken since I loved the car. After two attempts to fix the issue, nothing was resolved. Jimmy followed up with me. We talked, and I expressed my concern. I wanted to give them the opportunity to make it right so I picked another 2020 Forester on the lot and asked Jimmy to work the numbers out. He had them ready when I arrived at the dealership. CP Subaru did me right. I have zero complaints. They really took care of me unlike any other dealership Ive been to. I 100% recommend Jimmy and the folks at CP Subaru.

They made me feel like I could not afford the car I was looking at when I tried to negotiate on the price telling me they sell for window sticker. I sold cars for years, everything from Ford, Infiniti, to Bentley and there is always negotiations. Thankfully I found a car I love at another dealership so I did not have to return here.

Fully explained all controls and functions and, after a short demo drive, allowed a four hour test drive to Statesboro so my wife could test drive the car as well. When I returned, I requested a specific color which they were able to locate. My wife is happy with her new Forester! Just overall great experience. Only downside, other than myself no masks were evident on anyone - including employees.Added 2/24/21: Had to bring car in for minor repair. Dealership was ready, took my car right back and finished quickly. Good people, good service!

My experience at Chatham Parkway Subaru was perfect and seamless. From the ease of setting up a test drive to walking out the door with my brand-new Outback, I really didnt have to lift a finger. The sales team is wonderful. I worked with both Marc Robin and Mitchell Bechtold, both of whom were helpful, informative, friendly, and had good senses of humor (which I oddly found important in making such a big decision). But that was just the thing: it didnt feel like such a big decision; it felt like the right decision. Because from the moment you walk through the door, you feel like youre in the right place. You feel like this would be a nice, calm, friendly place to wait while your vehicle is being serviced, and you dont feel pressured one little bit. Marc and Mitch found the exact model I wanted and stayed in touch with me all the way. When I went back to pick up my new baby, the process was so smooth (Mark Pandos, Finance Manager was also incredible), I couldnt believe it. Marc and Mark handled literally everything, and all I had to do was sign on a few dotted lines. And my new Outback is just beyond compare. What a vehicle! This is my 4th Subaru purchased and possibly the worst experience with Subaru so far. Every sale cliché was used on me and it doesnt feel good. They need to be upfront with the monthly payment and not wait till the end to add tax and the bumper to bumper cost. Put that all in there so people can make informed decisions. Overall I am not pleased and feel that this dealership needs to do better if they are going to represent Subaru brand.

Poor service, the place can use an upgrade, dealer play too much game with pricing and they over charge by a huge margin. I am going outside of the low country area to find a decent dealership or I may not get a Subaru at all. While Im not too content with my car now, the service I receive from the dealership is amazing. That may be enough to keep me in the same brand car, although I really want a Subaru.

I bought a used WRX STI and the sales and service where trying to hide problems with the car. I had to ask many times and I ended up by getting in contact with the previous owner and was told many things about the vehicle that should have been presented when buying the vehicle. Like how the engine block was new and the other one was blown. Also how that vehicle leaked oil a lot and dropped onto the headers causing the car to smoke. Not happy with the attitude with the service advisor.

Worked with online sales team member, Mary Alexandria. She was very nice. Got trade in value from TrueCar. After sharing with Mary the deal and trade in value from other dealerships, she went to finance manager. According to Mary, Finance manager refused to honor TrueCar deal on trade and never received offer on new car. Told me we had bad Carfax report, despite having to supply VIN number with TrueCar deal. I was traveling from NC to Florida in early March of 20 and while traveling through GA on I-95, my transmission blew up. Called and was able to get looked at Thur afternoon by 3:30pm. Had the entire issue fixed and back on the road 2 days later. The service and expertise was excellent. Even had access to a loaner car for free. Customer service was best in a very difficult time for myself.
