My wife and I broke down in our motor home on I-95 south late afternoon on a Friday. James showed up within an hour of being dispatched by Good Sams. With a broken belt no one had a replacement locally, so James tracked one down in Columbia, S.C. we picked up the belt on Sat morning, and James was back early afternoon to perform the repairs. He had us back on the road soon after. Under bad circumstances, James gave us reasonable options and did everything he said he would. Thanks again for the service you performed James

Just do yourselves a favor and call someone else the owner of this company runs the most shady business I’ve ever seen in my life and all the reviews on here back that up, these guys will come out and only do part of the job and say it’s done then when it’s not working right after they take your money they say it’s not their problem I work with the country and a investigation will be started up very soon on these guys, I can’t say this enough call someone else and don’t risk your money!!!!

Jay came out on a Friday night to pick up my brother in laws durango. Even though it was the weekend, he worked all afternoon and evening Saturday to make sure it was fixed and then delivered it to my brother in law. He kept me informed throughout the whole process and made sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend these guys if you live in the chatham, Effingham or Bryan County area.

He was awesome!! We were stranded on a road trip and he was able to get our car up and running when other mechanics said I’d have to wait 3-4 days. Came out on a Saturday evening and got it done. He replaced my radiator in a matter of hours and price was reasonable.

Came to my house cleans the corrosion off of my battery said to keep it stated for an hour did that and it didnt start again tried to call them the next day and no answer. 125 dollars down the drain!!

James got my car going when I called on Monday. He said it needed front end work, agreed to do the work, then never showed up. I had to get another mechanic and now Im waiting to see if what he told me was truth, or he was just working me for money. Im willing to bet it was the ladder. My bf ended up with a cracked radiator when traveling from Atl to SC. These guys came out within a few hours and got it fixed. Happy with the service. Idk what a good price is or isnt for replacing that and the thermostat but we we paid $350. Not a huge fan of one of the guys attitude but I guess thats not super relevant if they did the job they were hired for.

If this is still up this company has still not reached out and made good on this issue. I contacted them about replacing a water pump on my RV. They said that they could do it same day which was great! I dropped what I was doing jumped through hoops to get my hands on a water pump drove 40 minutes to meet them at the vehicle. They got started and I went and ran some errands and return to check on the work and to pay and I found the vehicle abandoned and unlocked. No call, nothing. I called owner and he said the worker ran out of daylight and would be back first thing in the morning to finish the work. Next day, no show, no call. I called later that day and the owner again said there was an emergency and it would be first thing the following morning. Again no show and no call...they have now been ignoring my calls for 5 days. I’m hoping they are going to make this right but if your reading this review they haven’t.

They Make a bad situation better - my daughter broke down some 82 miles from Savannah on the way to her home in Tennessee. Obviously we were very worried about her situation. When I called Mobile Mechanic they talked to me and ensured they would help - they then contacted her and gave her a level of comfort that she wouldnt be stranded. They drove the 1.5 hrs to pick her up on a Sunday afternoon, brought her and her car back to Savannah and quickly fixed the problem. What is even more incredible was that they were so reasonable in their cost. Wow, they made what was a nerve racking situation better - it is good to see such great people out there that have businesses but still care about others.

Called and the dude sounded annoyed that I was even calling. Wanted to charge us $90 just for coming out to tell us what is wrong. Super unprofessional

I called this gentleman to have him look at my friends vehicle, and at first was pleased with how he was ready to help. I gave his number to my friend to call, and we were told it would be 45 min. before he could come out so I tried calling around to see if we could have it done sooner. Called a different number which ended up belonging to him as well. He then proceeded to tell me that I was “pissing him off” because I called multiple times (obviously I didn’t know it was his multiple numbers) and my friend had called as well. I explained that I wasn’t being impatient or disrespectful and then received multiple messages that continued to be rude and disrespectful. He may be a good mechanic (for all I know) but due to how he handles and speaks to customers I will never know for sure. Won’t be recommending or using his services.

On time and a great job

I was on my way to college when my car broke down. Jay and his team really saved us by fixing up our car at half the price of what it would have been if we would have taken it to a dealership. We saved money on a dealership fee, towing fee, and they even gave us a ride to a hotel. Everyone at mobile mechanics is super friendly and down to earth! They are the reason I made it college!

I went from google to Emergency Auto Repair, which is something I never heard of or knew could exist, to wondering where were you guys during all my driving years!!! Ok.....so we are traveling to Savannah, Ga to visit South University for my daughter....56 miles from Savannah my a/c compressor goes out and instantly the Sahara Desert with added humidity was upon us! Immediately I pull out the trusty ol mobile phone and start Googling mechanics in the area......Long story short at 1145-12 noon just about NO ONE wants to make any money in Savannah! I called these guys and on the job they were! Very punctual and diligent! These fellas went to town on my truck and had it back up blowing ICE COLD air in no time! My wife and I drove to Tybee Island on vacation and we booked a riverboat cruise in Savannah about two blocks away from the boat the check engine light comes on we pulled into a gas station. I made a call and they came right out they even picked up the parts while we enjoyed our cruise! The car was ready once we got back. I cant say enough about the service. My fix was relatively simple but Jay came out and was extremely patient and kind, offering a good amount of solid advice. He only wanted to charge me a diagnostic fee on top of it all even after. Very nice and friendly people.

Im so fortunate to have found the crew at Mobil Auto Repair Pros. I cant remember then last time I had such a positive auto repair experience.They were able to tow my car and tell me what was wrong with it on Thanksgiving day! They were in constant contact with me, giving me frequent updates and helping to ensure my costs didnt spiral out of control. They were incredibly friendly and professional. They even went as far as finding parking for me in the nightmare that is historic Savannah.The best part is, my car runs like a dream. This company has helped me out by explaining to me what is going on with my vehicle. The mechanic was at my house earlier than he predicted which was great because he told me what was going on with my truck and was nice enough to take me to the parts store to pay for my parts. I had called the Mobile Mechanic and Jay told me that the owner was out of town visiting his son who was a recovering addict. Then proceeded to tell me that the diagnostic fee was $100.00, he did come to my house to look at the car, and yes he did look at it, touched it with his hand, accelerated the gas and stated what was wrong. Jay did not have a tool or tool box, and to say the least was rude on the phone. I feel that the he is the owner and provides a bogus story to persuade people not to call and complain or to deal with his business practice. He is untrustworthy and seems to lie, he also had me to call to find my own parts and told me he has a 3 day guarantee on his work. THAT SAYS A LOT RIGHT THERE! After saying he took credit cards on the phone and website, once he got there and spent all of 20 minutes looking at my car, he then stated that his credit card machine was down and only could take paypal or cash, so he FOLLOWED me to the bank to get his money.

Ive been using Mobile Mechanic Savannah for over a year now for all my needs. Jay and his team are very down to earth and extremely knowledgable with cars. My car broke down and other shops were going to overcharge for repairs. These guys are honest, professional and provide excellent work. So far Jay has done work from repairing the radiator, water pump and changing the oil. If you are looking for a reliable, hard working mechanics, these are the guys I recommend.

In order to tell you just how great Jay and his crew treated us, you will have to endure reading this long review! My husband decided to buy a motorhome (sight unseen) from Copart in Savannah GA. We live in Utah. In the middle of December! His plan.... Fly to Savannah and DRIVE said motorhome all the way back home 3000 miles. Needless to say, we get to Savannah and motorhome starts but Does Not drive. We had made arrangements with Jay to meet us at Copart to tow the thing off Copart lot BC they wont let you drive the vehicles off the lot anyway. Jay finally was able to get the thing off the Copart lot but stalled in the middle of the road blocking traffic on both sides. His team was like a well oiled machine with ropes flying through the air, jumper cables on guys starting engine. Jay worked all night getting motorhome running, delivered it to our hotel at 2:30 in the morning and only charged us for materials and very minimal labor. Unfortunately it didnt fix the stalling issue to my satisfaction if we were gonna drive it that far. Husband decided that the fuel pump needed replaced so we asked Jay if he could do it. Jay came straight over got us a deep discount on all parts and stayed up a second night working on our rig right in the hotel parking lot in the pouring rain. Had to drop the massive 60 gallon fuel tank to get to pump! After all this, only charged us $500. Any other mechanic would have charged us 3times that! We would have ended up leaving this pos Rv in Savannah and cut our losses if it werent for Jay. And all the while, Jay entertained us with his humor and philosophy of life ... He is a go getter - get it done kinda guy. He could have just washed his hands of the whole nightmare, but he stayed and helped us. He has made a life long friend in us. For those reviewers who say he is rude on the phone... At first, I thought the same thing, but its just the way Jay talks. He isnt being rude. He talks fast and is very to the point which I appreciate in a human being. He is also kind, super funny, and sympathetic to people in distress. If you find yourself in mechanical trouble anywhere near Savannah, call Jay. Hell get you back home!

We had visited Savannah for our anniversary. We had checked out, loaded the car and it wouldnt start. AAA came but couldnt start it. Called these guys they came and got us our way home to Fort Myers FL. Thank you Thank you. You should have been our first call!

I’d give it zero stars if I could. Not only did they not fix the issue, they didn’t replace everything correctly or replace the oil cap causing my vehicle to hemorrhage oil. My vehicle is now back in the shop fixing the original issue plus any damage caused by their incompetence. I contacted them for a refund only to be told I could not speak to the owner unless the owner wanted to contact me and they hung up on me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Find a reputable shop instead. I will be disputing the charges with my financial institution and considering legal action to recover damages.UPDATE: cam shaft solenoid is burnt out as a direct result of their failure to replace the oil cap after repairs. They should do the right thing and refund my fees.UPDATE: I was able to email the “owner” about the issue and this was his response:“After doing my investigation sir you will not be getting a refund seems to me you are a liar and a con artist if your oil cap was off the invoice would of stated oil for one and for two seems you done your own dignastic and told my guys what you wanted replaced when that wasn’t the issue at all or by any means hope you have a bless day and thanks for the bad REVIEW we love our haters here especially the ones like you that wanna lie on my guys but we have video of what my guys done KEEP HATING BUD AND SORRY WE ARENT FALLING FOR YOUR SCAM”Apparently I’m the “con artist” for wanting my car repaired correctly. I want to start by saying Jay and his guys or top notch. My daughter and her boyfriend was in Savannah for st. Patricks Day and her Jeep steering locked up. They called Mobile Mechanic Savannah and talk to Jay, he came out took a look at the Jeep on a Saturday afternoon and found the gearbox is locked up. Jay took the Jeep, kept us in the loop, with guys running everywhere to try to find parts. On a Saturday afternoon he worked until 11:30 to get it fixed for her. This is unheard of this day and time to find somebody with the honesty and willing to help someone on a holiday weekend like Jay did. I broke down while out of town in Savannah for a friends wedding. My mechanic Jay drove all around Savannah to get the parts he needed and met me at my hotel to do the repairs that same day. Not only did he do a fantastic job and finish everything that same day, the final price tag for the whole thing was a fraction of what I would have paid for at a repair shop. Very Rude When It’s Comings To Talking On The Phone Very Unprofessional

My 2011 Mercedes broke down outside of Savannah Ga and we were stuck on the side of Hwy 95 for hours; the dealership was not able to fix the car and the tow truck was not able to load the car because the battery was dead and it would not go in neutral. Well along came Jay and his crew. They helped us get the car off the highway; changed the alternator and battery in record time. Thank God that he sent them our way; it was Saturday and it was beginning to get late. Awesome Job!

The owner is extremely rude. He literally cursed me because, I had questions concerning my car.

I am 7 months pregnant and my husband and I were stranded while visiting Savannah. The guy that answered the phone was rude and did not want to help us. He made us send pictures of the problem and gave us an astronomically high price just to check it out. He also said he would call us once he got the pictures and he did not. Too bad I didn’t get his name.

Daughter needed help and I wasn’t around for it. Jay was great.

I was totally scammed by this company! They charged me $290 for work that was not properly completed. I informed them 20 minutes later that I had broken down again (luckily in my subdivision this time) and they made no attempt to right their wrong or refund me my money. I had to pay another mechanic to come out and properly fix the same exact hose I needed them to fix. I was told that shops dont issue refunds, but shouldnt shops actually fix what you pay them to fix!?!

We visited savannah from charlotte on easter weekend vacation, but unfortunately our car started emitting smoke n coolant and end engine heated up completely. With the help of security guard in a public parking, we found out that it was probably the radiator that was the culprit! Unfortunately due to easter week, we weren’t able to find nearby mechanics, so the only available people were “Mike Mobile” (n my only reason to give them 1star!) .First of all they were not specific with the rates when we spoke over phone with them.Initially they said they’d charge $125 for service and diagnosis.After a while two people(a lady n a man)representing mike mobile came and said that apart from diagnosis they’d charge another $75 for labor! Anyways we were helpless, so we agreed. Next thing they said that the hose & the coolant were to be replaced and that our radiator was fine! After getting the hose and after around an hour of fixing the issue they said that we were good to go. Next thing they wanted was their money $200, for which they couldn’t accept card and only cash was the option, so we asked them to follow our car till the atm so that we could withdraw the cash. All of a sudden, the man called us and started yelling saying that we had absconded without paying them. We were perplexed and threatened as we had no idea of what was going on! only to realize that they were following a wrong car!!! To add to our plight, we realized that smoke was still emitting n the car was giving heat warning Helpless we pulled the car right n shared our location with them. Finally they arrived after a while (realized their mistake of following the wrong car) and assured us smoke was quite normal as the spilled coolant was drying up! After that they took their money and left .But, the horror continued ....while on our way back, the car started to show heat warnings n lot of smoke. Finally we had to tow it back to the hotel for 38 miles with the help of our insurance. Next morning went to another mechanic S&S LUBE in Walterboro(was a good service provider) who discovered that the radiator of the car was leaking n that it was the only problem so we called these fake mechanics when the man very rudely said that he was busy and could do nothing! I mean not only was he deficit of professionalism but also lacked shame after all the harassment he caused with his behavior towards tourists .Anyways the guy at S&S LUBE was kind enough to fix our problem and talk respectfully!Guys! This incident made me realize how some people don’t even care for the safety of their customers and exploit them of their vulnerability !

I was so pleased with James work. He was very professional he was on time and was done very quickly and exactly when he said he would be done. He was upfront about all the issues i had wrong with my car and was so reasonable. The other company quoted me a outrageous price and told me all kinds of thing were wrong with my car and they werent. Im a single mother and have a sick mother i was taking care of at the time, he cane quick and got the job done very fast for me. He even has called since to check on the car and also to check on my family. Jay is a top notch guy. My friends truck broke down late at night in Savannah as he was driving from Oklahoma to Florida. Jay took time away from his family to go find my friend and look at his truck. He was able to go buy the parts and repair it right there on the spot. We had the truck worked on right before my friend left Oklahoma and Jay was able to show us that the previous mechanic did not fix the truck properly (water pump) which was the cause of all of the problems on this night. Jay fixed the previous mechanics mistakes and got the truck back up and running so my friend could be on his way to Florida. If Jay had not been the kind and generous person he is, we would have had the truck towed the next day to a mechanic and the trip would have been delayed even further. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS GUY(JAY) TO FIX MY GRANDSONS TRICYCLE,HE LIKES TO TALK A BIG GAME BUT DOESNT BACK IT UP.HE IS LIKE OF A BUNCH OF PEOPLE WHO JUST THROW PARTS AT A VECHICLE UNTIL ITS FIXED.DONT THINK HE IS AS GREAT OF MECHANIC AS HE THINKS HE IS.DAMN SURE TOOK ME TO THE CLEANERS TOLD ME MY TRUCK WAS FIXED AND LEFT AFTER I PAID HIM,NEXT MORNING TRUCK DID SAME THING,WOULD NOT CRANK.JAY GAVE ME 3 DAY WARRANTY WHICH HE DIDNT HONOR, CALLED HIM 5 TIMES ON SATURDAY AND HE NEVER SHOWED UP TO FIX MY TRUCK,TRIED TO TALK WITH HIM ON LAST CALL AND IT ENDED UP IN A ARGUMENT,HE HUNG UP ON ME AND WILL NOT RETURN MY CALLS OR TEXTS.HE HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS FOR SURE,ALSO DID I MENTION I AM ON A FIXED INCOME,SO HE HAS MY MONEY AND I STILL HAVE A TRUCK THAT WANT CRANK.IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GIVE THIS GUY A CALL.

Scam alert, not a Legitimate buissness. This company is putting there contact information under numerous small businesses and also large nationwide companys like Your Mechanic. I had Jay come to my place and look at my truck. He spent 15 mins looking at my truck, told me I needed a day and half worth of work done to the electical hanrness, broke my tail light on the truck and requested $80. Very unprofessional. I contacted the main office in Mo and left a message, called back again 30 mins later and my phone call was black listed and could not even leave a message. Do Not Waste You Time, do your research before contacting them

Not legitimate......FRAUD....SCAM...MOST REVIEWS WRITTEN BY THE MECHANIC OWNER WITH LENGTHY CRIMINAL HISTORY, MY DAUGHTER WAS SCAMMED BADLY......I WOULD READ DEEP INTO THE COMPANY...THEY HAVE A FEW SMALL BUSINESS LISTINGS IN ORDER TO AVOID REVIEWS AND BEING CAUGHT.....LOOK AT THE BUSINESS LOCATION.....ITS SURELY IN BARN NEXT TO HOME IN RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY...WE WENT BY BOTH PLACES NO SUCH EXIST.
