Let me say this Ms Joyce was amazing through this whole ordeal. From going to Jacksonville herself and picking up my vehicle to bringing it to me and we driving to dealership to finalize everything. She was a true blessing! I have four stars due to having the vehicle 3 days and the engine light coming on. Had to get the catalytic converter replaced but the warranty did take care of it. I had no issues getting this done. I was worried but American Car Center really came through!

I purchased the car 2 years ago. Everything as far as the salesperson and the car itself were great. American financial on the other hand a different story. Ive come to realize they have been charging me an extra $60 a month because they say I dont have full coverage but I do. Then Im trying to trade my car in for something bigger and they are refusing to give me a payoff amount.

I RETURNED THE CAR WITHIN THE FIRST 5 DAYS!! Was supposed to receive a full refund of my down payment!! This was 2 months ago!! I have been getting the run around ever since!! The manager of the dealership has absolutely NO ANSWERS!! No one can get me in touch with anyone with answers!! They keep saying I’ve received my refund and I NEVER received it back!! I call corporate and they are saying they can’t find my account because Lexi in Savannah’s location closed the account before the refund was made!! So now I’m down $2,750 because no one has answers!! This is more than frustrating especially because no one seems to care whenever I call!!! I feel the only other answer is taking legal action when it shouldn’t be this hard to receive MY MONEY back!!Carson at American Car Center in Savannah GA is absolutely amazing. He is so friendly and easy to have a conversation with. Was so helpful!! We had to come back a few times he kept in contact and kept me up with what I needed. Came back on 2/26 and Carson made sure I left in a vehicle!! Id totally recommend going American Car Center, make sure you do yourself a favor and ask to speak to Carson!

If you need a vehicle come see Mrs. Joyce!!!So the car buying experience was great, however now I need the vehicle repaired. This process is the worst ever. 1.) The service dept. does not answer the phone, 2.) When you leave a message they dont return your call. My vehicle is in the shop and the warranty is not covering the repairs by the way I had to find a shop because the shops they deal with said they dont have anyone qualified to do repairs. I took today off work to turn it in and started calling at 1:53pm and finally spoke with someone at 2:40pm. 2 weeks trying to get a vehicle fixed is ridiculous!!! I would suggest a different dealership that offers a better overall experience with buying, and warranty repairs. Do your research!!!!

Great experience!! Vehicles are clean with low mileage and a great selection. Mrs. Joyce made this the easiest experience I’ve ever had purchasing a vehicle. Everyone there were pleasant and accommodating. If you need a reliable vehicle come check them out. They won’t disappoint.

Go see Tay! She’s great and works with difficult customers (like me). My only suggestion would be to have the inventory detailed a bit more. I was turned off by a couple cars I really liked because the dash needed to be wiped or the seats needed to be vacuumed. I am happy with my vehicle choice nonetheless. I walked in thinking I wasnt gonna get approved because of being turned down so much. But Mrs Joyce assured me I would be driving off with that car. And Paul was reassuring. Their incredible resistance to working with a customer online is astounding to me while Covid is still such an issue - frankly, unless you are there in-person and ready to waste 2-4 hours before you ever get the info you wanted to begin with, avoid. Oh, and dont worry, any messages sent to them via their website will be resoundingly ignored with the same format response, repeatedly, regardless of issue. I sold cars for a long time - this is the sort of dealership no dealer wants to get stuck working at. Avoid, IMO.

The Savannah Ga location is fair far as doing business. Tasia at the call center is amazing if you ever need help! They don’t tell you the 2 free oil changes at pep boys are appointment only for American car center cars only Monday through Friday from the hours of 8am to 4pm what a big inconvenience too working people.
