Salesman was nice and literally had me ready to buy one of two vehicles I was interested in. The sales manager was unfortunately rude and obnoxious and aggressive as well as insulting. Literally telling me to leave if I wasnt going to buy something that second. I had asked for a printout on the two vehicles I was interested in. I feel sorry for the salesman he deserves a way better place to work.
I had gone to many dealers around the Pooler/savannah area and none of them treated me as well as Dan Vaden in Savannah! I got to work with Warren who was an amazing sales person to work with! He didn’t once pressure me into buying the car and he took time to listen to what I had to say about numbers! He knows his stuff and was a please to work with! Everyone here is very nice and helpful as well! I typically dread buying cars but I will always be coming back here for all future car needs! Really Fair pricing for new and used cars!
On Friday, September 10, 2021, I had the pleasure of being served by Lisa A.Leach, Sales& Leasing Specialist. She helped through the process of purchasing my first Cadillac!!! She was thorough, professional, and so pleasant. She treated me as though I were her only customer. I cant say enough about the excellent quality of her service. If he were alive today, Dan Vaden would be proud to have her on the team. I love my new car and I thank Lisa and all the Vaden staff who helped me through the process.
We spent all day in the dealership but left with the car we wanted. Phillip was great and the actual process was very smooth. It took a long time for them to get our financing completed because there were quite a few people in the queue. But other than that purchasing the car was a simple process. The car has been great so far. We purchased an extended warranty which is supposed to cover tire issues. We got a flat in the middle of moving 1 hr away and discovered there wasnt a jack provided with the car. Thank goodness there was a spare tire!
Your service representative Ashley Williams is a first-class, smart,and dedicated employee that knows how to communicate with customers and understands what the problem is and gets it fixed in a very determined way. Also your employee, Brian, is a top-notch technician and a very educated mechanic he did a super job installing my new Dash and determining the diagnostic on my 2009 Avalanche
Poor Service and have conducted bad business. I have spent about three days with this dealership looking for a truck. The dealer showed me a truck that was on another one of their lots that was in Beaufort, SC which is about 45 minutes away. This dealership checked my credit and obtained my financial information to support my income.I was told I was approved for the loan and all is needed to do was to test drive the truck and see if I like it and of course sign the paper to complete the deal. I called the third salesmen after dealing with two prior salesmen who got sick and was unable to complete the transaction, only to find out the truck was looking at has two other offers on it.I then became upset and advised the third salesmen that if they could not get the truck because of another deal was offered, I no longer wanted to business with them.This came at a horrible time where I knew this deal was on the back end of being completed to find out that I have been lied to. My credit has been affected with a hard inquiry for a vehicle Im no longer able to purchase. At this point I have lost faith and trust in this dealership and would not recommend anyone to this dealership for its bad business practice.
Kean was so professional and efficient. He responded to my calls and texts in a timely manner and kept me updated right away when the model of vehicle I was interested in arrived in the lot. Even after the purchase was finished, he answered all of my follow up questions. He did an amazing job!
Vaden Chevrolet did the work that was needed and not just oil change and tire rotation. Im glad that they went ahead and fixed our park problem while car was in shop for the oil change and tire rotation. I would have given 5 stars with a 10 recommendation if your dealership provided a loaner car considering it took 3 days. and I believe Vaden Chevrolet should at least provide courtesy shuttles for customers also. We moved to Savannah from NC and in Mooresville, NC; Randy Marion Chevrolet always went above and beyond with there customer service by providing a courtesy shuttle or a loaner car when it was needed for longer than a day service.
I had a very good experience buying my new Chevy Spark yesterday. Smiley was very polite and got my buying process started. He then had to turn me over to his co-worker Warren, to complete the process. Warren was very helpful and fought to get me the best deal possible.

Do not use Dan Vadens service department. They will tell you they are working on your vehicle and really are not. Multiple times I called for a status update and I would get the same response of oh we are working on it. Drive by and it’s in the same spot it was left not being worked on. Find yourself a more qualified group to do business with if needed
Seemed to take forever, Mount & balance 4 tires plus service, was there about 3hrs, seems that with all those TVs could have found something to watch to pass the time.
Staff works very hard to make customers feel great. Explains details on purchase or maintenance. Ive already recommended to friends. They wont blatantly lie or veer towards another cost or vehicles they may not have, just to get you in the store.Highly recommend.
I made reservations a week before with the repairs needed. I waited one hour to get registered. I waited another hour to be told they didnt have the parts (brakes or rotors for an 08); they knew the year when I made reservations. Jen told me they would get the parts that night and it should be ready by morning. I left the vehicle and received a call at 5:45P. Jen asked what time would I pick up the following day I said 9-9:30A. Nine-forty-five, I called to check on the courtesy ride. Jens voicemail was full, the answering service said no one else could schedule a pickup. Waiting. I dont feel confident that I got NEW rotors all around (scratch marks on them). I expected better.
First things first I wanna say the sales team Lonnie and Amanda did a good job. They stuck with us as we navigate to the process. The problems occurred when we got to finance. The finance manager lied and tried to force gap insurance on a vehicle that we had put $6000 down on. He claimed that the financial institution had required it. Then when we called him out on it he was very unhelpful with providing a phone number to the financial institution they were financing us through in fact he said the number he had was for dealers only and I would need to look it up. So not only did he lie but he tried to place a $900 insurance for gap coverageOn a vehicle that had $6000 put down on it and it was only a $26,000 vehicle so either they grossly over sold the vehicle or he’s only concerned about his own pocket and ripping off customers.So word to the wise do some financing on your own before going into this dealership. I knew that my payment should be around 460 in the first red flag came up whenever they came back with my payment at 617.

I have never bought a vehicle from this dealer, but I almost did. My wife and I found a nice vehicle with incredibly low miles for a price that absolutely could not be beat. Fast forward, we are at the dealership and the price on the website is $5000 dollars higher. We had a great experience with the salesman (whos name I will leave out of my bad review). The car didnt have a lot of the features we were looking for, so we decided to look elsewhere. Before we left, the salesman asked his manager, Bob, about pricing. Bob came out and gave us a line about how they cant control the prices that other websites post their cars at and how it happens all the time. Needless to say, Bob provided the usually pervasive bad car salesman feel to our trip and we left. However, upon further discussion we decide to see if we could negotiate (again great experience testing the salesman about price) because the car would be worth it if we could get them down in price. We got them down $2000 dollars and were truly considering purchasing, but then we saw an ad on their official Facebook Marketplace for $5,000 less! Dealership refused to match their advertised price. So, now with my knowledge of how cars.com and other websites work my suspicions had been confirmed. This dealership is listing the cars at a ridiculously low price until they are pulled by all of the other syndicating websites, and then jacking the prices up on their own website. This drives people to come in person to look at the vehicle, fall in love with it, and then decide its worth the extra money. I feel like it is false advertising and incredibly bad business, especially when the manager Bob looked me in my eyes and lied to my face.

Great dealership that will sale you a vehicle but will change all the numbers once you get into the finance office. You are promised one thing and when you read the fine print they get really forgetful. Look carefully at all your final numbers because once you decide on a payment and initial that number will change. Be on the look out for the added warranty plan that will cost you about $3500 even though a brand new car comes with a warranty. If you trade a vehicle and you agree on price make sure to watch out for the trade amount change. you agree at 14k and they put 10k on the loan paperwork. Also look out for a last minute MSRP of the vehicle you are looking to purchase as it will go up in price so that they can roll some negative equity into your new loan. Overall this has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had. If you are tired or sleepy wait to purchase a vehicle because they will cease the opportunity. I will admit I should have walked away from the deal but we all learn from our mistakes. Never take a man for his word when you agree on a price at least from this dealership.
Received an oil change and tire rotation and asked for fluid in wind shield wipers to be replaced. Was given back my car with no fluid in the wipers. Had to go back in, Bryce Duke took my car, came back and pulled up on the curb which scraped the bottom plastic piece under the bumper. It is clear that you all don’t care too much about others property. When I confronted Bryce, he seemed inconvenienced, was very unapologetic, tried to brush me off, and threw lots of excuses my way. Just apologize, you messed up. Not impressed with the “professionalism”. I have to come back for the piece to be fixed and I’m truly concerned if my car is going to have more damage than it came back with. I shouldn’t have to come back to get damage fixed after an oil change.. even if it is under warranty.
The dealership kept my vehicle all day and when I called for updates after my vehicle being there for over seven hours I got the runaround and had to call multiple times just to learn my vehicle still wasnt ready I ended up picking it up incomplete and I will have to take it back to finish the work. Horrible customer service I only go here because I prefer to deal will my vehicle manufacture otherwise I would never
Vaden Chevy Service Department: Although I initially had great expectations due to the friendliness of the staff, I was ultimately let down. I scheduled service for routine maintenance and the replacement of my splash guard, and when I dropped off the car I spoke with a service writer about an error code flashing on my dash. The estimate for service time was 3 hours, maybe 4... 9 hours later, I left the dealership with the error code flashing on my dash, and a piece of my underbody still hanging from my front end. I spoke with the same service writer about the error code still being there, and he said that they didnt diagnose the error code during this visit. He also stated that to fix that error code, it would take multiple days of service. He said that normally, error codes arent checked during a 32 point inspection, and he didnt remember that I asked him about the code that morning. As I was leaving, trying to suppress my anger to the best of my abilities, I noticed he stared disappointedly at my front end. After I left, I took the attached photo showing that a piece of my front end was still not attached properly. I immediately called a separate dealership, mentioned the error code, and was told I could get the car back on the same day. I wont be coming back to Vaden anytime soon.

You know when you buy a vehicle off of a dealership used or not you expect them to actually have the tools to work on your vehicle that they sold you. I am furious that I have to take my car to another dealership to be serviced because you dont have the tools to work on a vehicle that you sold me. This is the third vehicle Ive bought off of you guys and Ive had issues with it within months. Im done and I wont be back. Quit selling used vehicles if you dont have the equipment to service them.

Despite having a location in Brunswick, Georgia, I drove to Savannah to test drive and buy my new Cadillac. They have a large selection and I found the perfect one. My sales associate, Lisa Leach, was phenomenal! She was patient and took the time to show me how to pair my phone, use Apple play, etc. My entire experience was great! They handled everything from insurance to financing. I will definitely do business with them again!

They did a fantastic job with the tire change, balance and rotation, and oil change. Everything is working properly, no issues at all. Everybody has been friendly every step of the way. They even made a follow-up call.
Came in for an oil change, apparently, there was a recall on the passenger side airbag and it was replaced without informing us. The service tech did a poor job of putting the dash back on and cracked it. I know that can happen sometimes, but you can look at it and tell the person didnt have it in right, to begin with. I came in and spoke with Brie and Ashley since no one called like my son was told they would. Brie had already spoken with someone and the parts have been ordered. However, I had asked to speak to a supervisor and none came to speak with me. There isnt a body shop there anymore, I am concerned about who will be replacing the dash and wonder if we have a choice.

It was hard for me to give a 5 star because my initial visit was on a Friday, (july 1) after waiting 2 hours no one said anything to me. I had to ask how much longer and I was finally told that my vehicle have not left the parking lot to the service area. I arrived at 8:am. I had to leave to get back to work and could not wait. On my rescheduled visit July 5, 2021 it was a little better, I guess because I was not sitting waiting. I got a ride home.

The service here was so great theyre making me want to buy a Chevrolet. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted with smiles and everyone asking me if I had been helped. The agent that I worked with was Malcolm. Very friendly very professional extremely informative. He offered me a seat in one of the lounges and told me I could help myself to the bottled water. Everyone at this establishment said hello in passing. Very friendly staff. My mother-in-laws car was fixed and I really am considering buying a Chevrolet simply from the service I received at Vaden Chevrolet.

Dan Vaden, the internet price needs to reflect the sales price. Also, The NET selling price didnt even reflect the price showed online, much less the $14,991.00 Utility Box Bed. I did some research tonight and located the same van at another dealership, that listed the van correctly. I noticed the other van on your site is listed the same way, so this must be the way business it done there.
Very nice dealership with more than enough salesperson to help with car buying needs. I was told that I didnt have a snow cone chance in hell on getting the BMW 320i that was up for sale on their website, that a salesman had put claim on the car when it came in for a trade in..that sucks!!
If I could give ZERO stars, I would but that’s even giving them too much. Will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. I have never experienced such a awful dealership experience in my life. Not only were they pushy in the beginning of the sale, they left me sitting around without a word and not knowing what they were doing for over an hour and half numerous times. I bought a used car from them about a month ago under the stipulation that they would fix the issues with the vehicle and get the cigarette smell out of it. I told them if they were not able to then i do not want the car, they assured they could get the smell out completely snd would fix the issues with the car. I work out of town so it is important that I had this vehicle but I drove it once out of town and my clothes, my belongings, everything reeked of cigarette. There was slow leaks in two tires, the radio touch screen does not work, they were supposed to fix a dent in the vehicle and made it worse. Fast forward to me dropping the car off to them a week ago to do what they needed to do to get the cigarette smell out, fix the leather, fix the tires, fix the dent, fix the touch screen- I came back today and they said they got the cigarette smell out and was told by the sales person “I told them don’t even touch the dent since repair people made it worse so they didn’t even look at”. The entire process was insane and left me completely baffled. The car reeked of massive cigarette smell, everything was still broken and the salesperson was completely unhelpful and did not care about our concerns. When asked to talk to managers, they all made smirks and was completely rude. One manager FINALLY came out and he talked with us and after we told him everything he replied with a “well the way it looks like, it’s a sale” I have never been so appalled in my life. He also said that he is a smoker and he doesn’t smell anything. I cannot put my children in this car, I can’t even leave a jacket in the car without it profusely smelling like an ashtray. He told me that I signed the documents so they can’t take it back, I then proceeded to tell him that the contract is broken since it was agreed that they would fix the issues they said they would. They did not. So needless to say, the car is still at the dealership and I am essentially paying for something I DO NOT HAVE. The staff is rude, the management is out of this world rude. I would NEVER recommend this dealership EVER, while writing this review I am in the process of filing a complaint to the BBB and any other institution- if need be. Please whatever you do, DO NOT come to this dealership. They are awful people with no compassion and they just look at you like you are just a sale.
It was the worst experience that I ever had from a car dealership. This place is really bad. I would not recommend them at all.They charged me $913.26 because my battery was being drained back in September 2020. Here we are in February 2021 with the same problem. Now all of a sudden it had a Verizon tracking device in it that was unbeknownst to me. They removed the device and all is well but the General Mgr. refused to give me a credit for the $900. Unbelievable. Run as far away from this dealership as possible.
I purchased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee from Dan Vaden Chevrolet in Savannah on April 17, 2021. 21 days later my car wont crank, so I call the dealer and they tell me that I would have to buy a battery. I physically go up there and get the same answer. I had just given them $10,000 and they couldnt replace the battery on a vehicle I purchased from them less than 30 days prior. I bought the car in good faith that it would last more than 3 weeks. Havent even made a payment and Im without a car until I can get it fixed. This is bad business and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this dealership!!!!! They dont care what condition the car is in, as long as they get your money and I plan on making a complaint to the BBB.

The experience was fantastic at the dealership and Troy was great. I will say that when I initially contacted you guys about a vehicle I spoke with a Mr. Tapia (sp?). He spoke very fast and really didnt seem interested in my business. I thought he was apathetic and didnt really care. I guess he didnt realize it would have been no problem for me to write a check for over 70K for a vehicle and potentially purchase a few more in the neear future...After that conversation I continued to look and thought to myself that I didnt want to deal with any Savannah dealerships. I locked down a Suburban with Woody Folsom in Baxley and almost bought that car except that I heard back from Troy and that changed everything. Mr. Tapia almost cost your dealership over 70K. Aside from him, it was a great experience.
Very bad experiences. First day called to schedule an appointment and looking for a pick up. I waited 4 hrs for the pick up. No call no nothing. Then second day I paid for a visit. I was told by the manager no discount for me, not even $1 off. And he had to make up a story that manufacturer is not working he cant get anymore cars for 4 months. I think GM and anyone with brain wouldnt agree with that story.

Awful experience! My truck has been in the service department for a week and no work has been done to it. We dropped it off for a warranty issue and after 7 days am now told they can’t do the work because their body shop closed! Why did you accept the truck for body work when you dont have a body shop? After calling many times i was eventually hung up on and treated with the most disrespect I have ever encountered. I was promised calls back from Megan, Bree, Brice, and many others and received none so far. I am hopeful by leaving a bad review I can actually get them to help me out of the awful situation they have put me in. Most recently I was assured I would receive a call back from Neil Wilson and surprise.... I have not!

Ii was very happy with my interaction with Robert Willson. Im writing this as insurance in case something happens with the actual part. Some broken wires were showing on what I now know is called a harness. It was making my headlights malfunction.Robert quoted a choice to have the service tech attempt to repair and only be charged for labor,or have a new one put in and pay for new part AND service charge.I chose new part plus labor. When I went to pick car up, it was a little less than original quote.I was happy,paid and walked outside. When I looked more closely,I saw the entire bill showed labor only.I went back in,but Robert had already gone.i approached another person who called actual repair tech. He told me that person said somehow,part didnt show,so he just incorporated it all as service.I just want to make sure this is somehow documented in case the new harness fails. I am a female and was taking the place of my husband who usually handles these things,but isnt in best of health right now. Please understand, I am not saying they did something wrong,I just want the interaction documented.

My GMC Canyon went into limp mode while traveling out of state. The service advisor worked me into the schedule and I had my truck back quickly. They even recommended a great seafood restaurant (Pearls Saltwater Grille) on the water - a welcome surprise after a challenging day. They did a great job keeping me in the loop as they diagnosed and fixed my problem. Great team.
Ease of making appointment, several reminders sent, got my appointment the day I requested
I called these people to set up an appointment to have my vehicle looked at,and was giving an appointment for 930 a.m. Friday morning. I paid 160 dollars to have my vehicle towed to them the night before and its 5 days later and my truck hasnt even been looked at. I have called several times and was told that my service advisor (Robert), would call me. Well i had to call him after he never called and the guy couldnt tell me why my truck has been sitting all this time. He assured me that he would get to it. Another 2 day passed, and i call,no answer, no call, Im headed to get my vehicle, if you want service stay away from these people.
Sales manager doesnt hold up his end of the from negotiations. He said he would give more for the trade in, he did not. In addition, I set a maximum amount I wanted for payment. I didnt find out until I was with the financial manager. I should have known something was up when they didnt provide me with the new figures.

I came to the dealership not really knowing exactly what was going wrong with my vehicle. Ashley in the service department checked over my vehicle and after a discussion with one of the technicians it was determined that I needed to replace my battery. Absolutely horrible experience with all departments. New car sales, used car sales, financing, warranty issues, service issues, etc. Customer service is nonexistent at this dealership. I STRONGLY suggest you avoid this place.
I feel that the folks at Vaden went over the top to please, explain, and make a happy customer. I really enjoy my 2021 diesel High Country Tahoe with air ride suspension.
I wish they would stop over promising and under delivering. As an exsales representative it makes the experience offensive.Just an update from the previous and the initial post about my sales experience from early July:Its now August 10th 2021. Last week I was asked to change my review because the team didnt like what I had to say about my experience. So, as the unsatisfied customer that I am I told one of the managers I have been working with that first the problem needs to be solved first before even considering. Im still trying to get the problem resolved and I am very frustrated and highly upset that nobody cares after the sale is done.

My experience with this dealership was really poor. I went to them trying to buy my first car. They took advantage of me and the situation I was in. It eventually put me in a hole that I had to dig my way out of. I do not recommend going here because the sales people will probably do the same to you. They are only after your money, they won’t care if you get screwed over in the end. A lot of information was left out when I initially purchased my car from Dan Vaden. If you are thinking about buying your first car here, or any car, don’t even waste your time here.

It was a great experience, everyone was so pleasant and friendly. Chris Ferguson was EXCELLENT.. he’s very passionate about his job and the one thing I like about him was he was very upfront and honest and also I learned about the car buying experience from him. I was upside down in my car and I owed more than what the car was worth but with his determination and experience in car sales, he was able to get me into a brand new car. I was received promptly for my appointment. This was my first visit with this vehicle, but Malcolm handled the situation with ease and informed me that my wait time may be a bit longer than usual. It was not a problem, and everyone I encountered was pleasant and polite.
HORRIBLE . Communication is horrible . The workers are horrible . They leave a very bad taste in my mouth. I’will never ever return .
I would have given my experience a 0 if possible. I have been looking for a newer vehicle to complete this transition in my life where I’m moving to a new place, started my job as a reporter for USA Today and more financially stable. I saw a vehicle at the Statesboro location and asked if it could be brought to Savannah. The Savannah dealership said they could and made me an appointment for three. Once I arrived my salesman, Smiley, was a little busy but I was patient. He was very nice and then a switch happened and his entire demeanor changed. I later found out the vehicle was still in Statesboro and being serviced. Upset, I asked how did this happen when I was told it would be here. Smiley told me he would get it here before the end of the day and call me to keep me updated. Neither happened. I called the Statesboro store and they said the car was on the lot. I proceeded to get the runaround from both locations and eventually Smiley told me someone would call me back with details. Again, didn’t happen. In my opinion, these people look at customers as dollar signs and could care less about treating you right if there isn’t a deal on the table. I was really excited today, but Dan Vaden let me down. Also in my opinion If you look like money they will treat you better and Smiley even asked what kind of purse I had. When I said it was from Ross, I think he was disappointed . Hope this helps.
I booked an appointment at least 4 days in advanced but when I arrived I was told that there was a 2.5 hour back up. I work in Hinesville so I scheduled my appointment based on getting other things done that afternoon. But because of that delay and there not being any loaners available I was extremely disappointed. A wasted day and now I have to miss more time from work to reschedule the appointments I had scheduled for Friday. I felt there should at least been some kind of discount to make up for the time that I had to lose and would not get back.
My experience went well. The process is long and tedious even when you have financing from other sources. My sale manager did not always return calls.
I had a 8:30 appt. To get my oil changed, it took 3 hours, I had a coupon I provided over the phone and online and was over charged. I had to speak with 3 ppl to get the credit placed back on my card.
This was a very good experience done in a timely manner. All staff that we came in contact with were the best! I have to mention Bob in service was very knowledgeable about this service.
I payed$ 142.00 oil change and multi point inspection and it was not done.tires were not checked and my pressure was mixed in each tire meaning they were not cred or any other check that should have been checked.this is the second time I bought my truck in and had a problem with the service dept.I have bought 4 vehicles from this dealership and 3 new and 1 used I did not buy this one 2020 high county from here because of bad treatment. 8

My appointment was Friday. I dropped it off Thursday evening so it was there and ready. Received a call Tuesday night that it was ready to pick up. Wednesday morning received a call about about a reminder to bring my car in for appointment (appointment was 5 days before that call). I said to please make sure my vehicle is actually ready to pickup & was told someone would call back in a few minutes because 2 people were walking outside to check on it. About 2-3 hours later I called back because I never got a call back
My wife had an awful experience with the service department, their customer service is awful and it goes all the way to the top to the Service Manager Whit Roberts who made a promise to my wife then backed out of what he promise. DONT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THIS DEALERSHIP, go where you and your money are appreciated
