Great setting corner coffee shop with good interior designWhen asked what type of coffee do you use? The response was its our own blend … not much info on Bean variety, origin, shade grown, whole bean, etcThe espresso did not have much creama but the taste was ok and on the acidic side of coffee… thin, lightThe barista attitude is not as welcoming as one would expect. When I went to get the cup … ‘is THAT you?’Recommend having training for your baristas… the good tasting coffee would go best with a good welcoming barista
Excellent single source roasted coffee - expertly prepared with a ton of great food options. I would recommend getting anything straight up - no sweeteners - just pure, unadulterated, coffee goodness!
I have fears to go to this place now. The coffee is great, but one of Baristas or cashiers is so rude. I have encountered with her TWICE. After she charged my card, she just turned around flirting with her coworkers inside of kitchen. And she left me them to wait for the receipt to print out. Then the gentleman who was making coffee saw that, he had to stop and grab the receipt for me. Her attitude is like high school or college kid, so arrogant and disrespectful. I observed that she didn’t do that to other customers, but me.
I always come in to buy bags of coffee and a latte. Consistently good coffee, good staff, and nice atmosphere.
Modern yet quaint little coffee shop. We went there after reading reviews and we were NOT disappointed. Its a small area so it was good that two of us went. For a big group of 6+ it would be hard to accommodate as most tables are for 2s.I ordered a cappuccino and my wife ordered a hot chocolate and we both loved our drinks. My wife said it was one of the BEST hot chocolates she has has - as it was not very sweet, tasted like it was made from real milk (and not powder). We also ordered food (nutella on bread and a wrap) and enjoyed it.
BEST COFFEE in Scottsdale. Hands down. Highly recommended. You will not find a smoother cup anywhere. Amazing. Must try.
Lovely humans working at the bar. I only wish I could see their beautiful faces but sadly Press enforces the mask policy on their workers still. I find it curious why some employees have to wear a mask while others dont. I hope its not based on whether or not theyve been vaccinated because that information is illegal for employers to ask for. Oh well, good coffee though!
Lovely little coffee shop! I’ve had it on my list for awhile, and finally got to check it out during our recent staycation. Very helpful and friendly employees, nice coffee and espresso!
Fantastic atmosphere. A little pricey, but high quality product in a cool part of Scottsdale
I was at Scottsdale Quarters and decided to stop at my favorite coffee dispensary! The store here is obviously smaller than the Phx Roastery, but the food (breakfast sandwich) and my classic mocha were superb. There is an art (maybe magic🧚♀️) to how they warm the milk that perfectly merges the sweetness of the mocha and the bitterness of the espresso - its almost like drinking velvet. ☕❤ #presscoffee #fancy #fancymagnets #scottsdalequarters #addictedtoespresso
The best damn cappuccino I have ever had. I am not sure what they do but I swear it’s magic.
Wait time is too long and by the time the food was received the order was wrong. Ordered three sandwiches but only received two. Also we were eating here but came out in Togo boxes. Also ordered large drip coffee but came out with small. Coffee is great here but their service is not great. Wanted fix my order to get it right and pay whatever I needed to get it right but no accommodations were made and sent back to the end of the long line. Very disappointed with the errors and customer service
We just recently had gotten kicked out of this “superior” coffee business for using it as a “cafeteria” Please do not go here
Outstanding ☕️ coffees, and coffee drinks. Nice vibe to hang out.
Press coffee has some of the best coffee roasts Ive ever had. I usually get Chemex of Central American or African coffee and 99% of the time its phenomenal. They also make a great Cortado. Usually, the Baristas are top notch in skill and customer service. Ive been coming here for years and its still my favorite in the Valley. PS I love the Press Burrito too, great vegetarian option.
Absolutely love this place. The folks that work there from the managers to the baristas couldn’t be any nicer and accommodating. I recently relocated from the east coast and moved in just across from the Press Coffee in the Quarter. I would bring my elderly dog Jake to the shop every morning. The folks there got to know him and his sweet disposition instantly captured their hearts. Unfortunately after a long amazing life Jake crossed the rainbow bridge last month. When the employees found out what happened, one of them had a painting done of Jake and surprised me with it. Needless to say it touched my heart to it’s core and brought a few tears to my eyes. Press isn’t just about serving coffee, it’s about being at the core of the community and building those relationships. Thank you Press Coffee!
First time here. Thought it was overpriced for what you get. Flavor was not my favorite either. Would not go back.
What a great little coffee shop tucked in between stores in the heart of the hustle and bustle that is Scottsdale Quarter. My husband is the coffee connoisseur of the family and hes always pleased with their whole bean selection and the cold brew he orders. Good prices for the quality! Today I decided to spoil myself with some Saturday morning caffeine and ordered a peanut butter shaker. Yum! The baristas are so friendly and accommodating. I enjoy coming here even when its just to have my husband get his fix.The decor and environment is modern and inviting. Great place to stop by on the weekday if you want a quiet place to work on your laptop or read a book. Not loud at all!
One of my best places I like to shopping
The customer service at this place is phenomenal. I come here every time I need to charge my car and it has never disappoints me. If you are looking for recommendations, the avocado caprice toast and chai cold brew shaker are my favorite.
This place has fantastic coffee and their baristas really care about service. They know their coffee, it’s flavors and make recommendations based on someone’s taste preferences. The one negative is how slow they are in making your coffee if it isn’t a drip. Two thumbs up! Speed up service and they’ll get five stars
Great coffee. Extremely slow but great coffee
Ive always loved Press and take anyone & everyone that visits AZ to one immediately... but after the poor customer service I received today I came on here to see if others had a similar experience and was SHOCKED to see multiple reviews that almost mirrored my experience.Ive never experienced poor customer service at a Press, so it was just very weird. One of the baristas was very fast to shut down a request I had for my coffee, no explanation of why (even though Ive ordered it before), just a short and cold you cant do that. I could almost understand answering like that if it was busy, but I was the only person in line. Not a big deal honestly, but it was just REALLY weird. This is also a new location, and its a bummer they didnt think to build in electrical outlets underneath each table - although this may be intentional to keep tables turning.5 stars because I still love them. Just hope they get the customer service figured out.
My favorite coffee shop in AZ. And I visit a lot of coffee shops. They really know how to do coffee right. When I used to work in the quarter and go there all the time, they knew my name and my drinks. I always stop by when I’m in the area. Also their bagged coffee to purchase is great.
Its a great place to sit and talk, read, work, or just play games on your phone. The staff are friendly, and the coffee and small selection of pastries are good.If youre a fan of Ferarri, early mornings generally have a handful of them parked outside as patrons get their morning fix.
Very disappointed in the blueberry green tea. I purchased the regular green tea but it was sold out and the associate said I would like it. Its too overwhelmingly blueberry which is why I didnt choose it. Unfortunately I just have to toss it. There were only two workers so it was very slow waiting for coffee. My sisters coffee seemed off to her. The cappuccino was good. I wouldnt return.
Some of the best coffee you will ever taste. I can understand why Press has won so many awards for their coffee. It truly is an unique product. After living abroad for many years it was nice to find a Coffee Shop that produces a high quality product. You have to try this coffee!
Excellent coffee and great people watching.
I love Press. The quality of their espresso is top-shelf and their locations are typically clean, spacious and well-managed. I pick up a peanut butter shaker regularly at this spot, and this particular location checks almost all of the boxes:- Great corner spot and easy access- Indoor and outdoor (limited) seating- Easy to navigate from entrance to order- Plentiful coffee swag (love their branding)- Great menu and fast-ish serviceA few things could be a little bit better:- Tables and seating are a bit cramped- Drink consistency isn’t as tight as expected- Seen stations a bit too dirty too oftenOverall, the coffee is worth the cost of a visit. Just be sure to get an extra shot of espresso. 👍🏻
Coming from PDX... this place has such amazing drip coffee. Praise the Lord for Press! Great service and ample seating in a large area. 🔥
This Press location will no longer be receiving my business. Ive been a regular at the Scottsdale Quarter location and have now had countless interactions with the Baristas that left me baffled. They treat you like a total inconvenience and their bad attitudes are incredibly unwelcoming. Press is only a few doors down from me, but I now walk across the street to Starbucks. I feel as if I gave them grace too many times and was only disappointed. I dont think its much to ask that you are greeted with a smile and treated with respect when getting coffee. As someone who works in retail and tries to support smaller businesses, I still stand by my decision. Ive also spoken to many people who shop at The Quarter that have experienced the same disgusting encounters. I know that reviews hold a certain amount weight, so I tried to go through the chain of command but felt I was never taken seriously.
I couldnt have caffeine that day, and being hot outside, I asked the cashier for an herbal tea on ice. She said they cant do that. Im shocked, actually. Not at all used to this lack of customer service from Press, which normally is very customer oriented.Im a big fan of Press and regularly visit the 32-Shea location for my beverages (they have fantastic wraps and burritos as well), and they serve me herbal tea, iced with no issue. I think this is a training problem and not anything with the chain.
Really good coffee and nice friendly baristas.
For many years now, I have been at Press almost every morning. The very best coffee and exceptional service. It feels like Cheers - all of the staff knows your name, your favorite items to order, and everyone is very friendly. Service is quick, even when theyre busy, and the quality of both the coffee and the food is top notch. My younger son actually asks to go there each morning because he loves to see his friends at Press. ♥
Amazing coffee and the best staff. They really make you feel comfortable while getting your coffee.
Asked to pay extra for filtered water with ice and was served steaming tea water with attitude... I’ve been to many Press locations and never had any issues with that request before. Safe to say I won’t be back here.
Poor and very rude customer service, almost felt as if race had something to do.
Awful customer service. I have been to almost every PRESS location in Arizona and have always been treated great. This locations employees make you feel like a dumb inconvenience.I have had Countless bad experiences with this staff and have always given them grace and understood that covid and the holiday season can be tough, but this is not an isolated event and these employees need some serious training on customer service.
Delicious lattes and great service. Just wish they had more flavor options. Cute atmosphere. Will come again and do recommend. I got mocha latte and boyfriend got chai latte and we loved both.
Coffee was good. However, this place is not the place to go if youre worried about Covid. They had the normal amount of seating. No one was wearing masks when they were sitting down. They should really take out some tables and chairs to space out the seating.
Always amazing! #bluemind
I love coming here every time I drive fromSedona to visit this mall, especially the Apple store and Sephora.Plenty of seats, fast internet and the coffee quality is great.
This place used to be my favorite place to get coffee in Scottsdale. I went there today to get my usual mocha. When I picked it up it was half froth with hardly any taste. I took a few sips and it just wasnt cool and took it back to be redone. They threw it away and then refused to remake it because it was empty. I dont need bad mochas and I dont need to be insulted by rude staff so Ill stick with other great places in Scottsdale.
I ordered an Iced Mocha/Caramel Latte.Being a Starbucks lover myself, I gotta say i LOVED IT!!!! I couldn’t believe there was another GREAT coffee place other than Starbucks! DEFINITELY coming back to try their breakfast items 👍🏻
I like Press Coffee a lot, every time we went to Scottsdale Quarter and we will order drinks. I can’t drink caffeine as I will not be able to sleep at night. I have ordered iced decaf latte twice recently, both times have messed up, I got regular latte instead and I couldn’t sleep at night. I confirmed many times if it was decaf and they said yes. Very disappointed and I will not visit it again.
Great coffee and comfortable seating.
Mob scene. What pandemic?! Just left this irresponsible business.
Nice atmosphere but my coffee wasnt hot.
The decor is 👌🏾. The espresso is 👌🏾👌🏾 and the service was 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾. Everything about this pace is dope.
Absolutely the best coffee shop in Scottsdale. Kind and knowledgeable staff, who arent snooty about their epic coffee, and are always willing to share what they know. Amazing coffee and other drinks (even their regular drip coffee is amazing), good food as well! Not to mention some awesome merch!
Would love to give this local shop a better rate but theyre not accepting cash. I dont believe in this practice and feel that customers deserve the right to a non tech form of payment.
Very nice place to sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee..reasonably priced.
Love this place, nothing bad, only good
Smoothest coffee in town anywhere.
Definitely one of the best coffee shops you can go to. Very impressed!
I got a vanilla iced latte and it was all milk. Total waste of money. I had to go home and pour out half the cup to put in my own shots and creamer.
Great local coffee spot. The baristas range from super nice to typical hipster indie coffee shop type. They dont have dark roasts (my preference) but some medium roasts with a fuller flavor. The drip, pour over, and espresso are all top notch, and if you want some beans, theres usually a good selection to just roasted ones available.
Nice place, ice people,, but just couldnt dial in on my drink... it was just missing something.
Great coffee and nice selection of breakfast items.
I went to get coffee last Saturday and the 3 employees refused service to me due to my inability to wear a mask. I told her that I have a medical condition and cannot wear a face covering. I also offered to stay 6 ft back from her per the city regulations. The City of Scottsdale, Maricopa county and the state allow medical exemptions...period. Also just a few feet away from me was a whole room full of people not wearing masks. There was also no plexiglass to protect the workers. Tables are not 6 feet apart and are actually crammed together in a very small area. This business is not following the law as the executive order clearly states there are exemptions. They are also clearly violating other social distancing mandates. And if you do have a private business policy to discriminate against people with medical disabilities and violate the executive order then you should post it on the door No mask, no exemptions for all to see. That would have saved me a trip inside to deal with the very rude and discriminatory staff.
My favorite is an iced chai tea latte made with oat milk. So delicious!
Really great place with an awesome atmosphere. I’m from out of town and stopped here for a latte and how cool was it that hey swirled a heart into my coffee. It made my day! Coffee is delicious!!!
Great coffee! Im not much of a coffee guru but I could tell the big difference in coffee from other places. Not bad price for a regular drip coffee. Average/good price for a 16 oz latte loved it!
Best decaf in town! Whipped cream was perfect; not too sweet and firm texture. My favorite coffee shop in the Phoenix area!
Passing by the beautiful city of Piedmont, we were on a search to find a good coffee shop and found this place. They have a good selection of pastries and cakes. Tried the vegetarian empanada and it was good!Press Coffee - Scottsdale Quarter.
We always get such amazing service here! I love the baristas and the knowledge that they offer to customers about different drinks. Also the freshly made food is always amazing.
This is a solid coffee shop in what is the third wave coffee desert in North Scottsdale. They roast their own beans, have a wide variety of drinks and have unique creations. I love their iced pour-over. It can get pretty busy and cramped, but they have a pretty efficient system even for manual brewing methods.
Their coffee is exceptional, which is great for them because their customer service is bad. I greeted the lady at the till, who said Hi flatly and scowled at me. I tried ordering my drink and the lady yelled WHAT? and was very annoyed. It felt like I was talking to an angry teen. Anyway, I tried contacting them directly, but no one responded to my email. Go figure. Hopefully no one opens a coffee shop with equally good beans beside them because they will be out of business. Will not return.
Ive been going to Press for years because of the quality of their offerings and their attention to detail. Hands down one of the best coffee shops in Arizona. Fresh beans, knowledgeable staff, and fantastic variety.
Coffee was great! Not too sweet or bitter. The people working there were very nice and helpful when we had questions about the menu. Coffee to ice ratio was spot on. The snacks looked very good and it reasonably priced
As usual, this place serves an awesome Americano even if its done in a minute. I ordered something by fault was my mistake. Iced instead of hot, but they were quick to fix me a hot one. Even with it being a quick fix, still it happen to be best Americano for as long as I can remember. Thank you for brewing some good stuff. Atmosphere is always out of the question, great. I hope you keep this spot for as long as you can. Ive enjoyed it from going to previous employment in mornings, to visiting every so often Sunday mornings and afternoons. Cheers to your services, your product, and overall welcome atmosphere you provide.
Have to agree with the previous reviewer: Never again will I be going to this establishment. Forcing a mask mandate on its customers is asinine! Huge business mistake! Specifically after the city rescinded the mask mandate, it looks like pure political activism! Calling security on customers for not wearing masks is plain stupid!
Love this place. Their iced tea is so good and they clearly do a great job hiring and training people because the people here are so nice. I recommend the Scottsdale Quarter location to friends all the time.
I had the best (say it again - THE BEST) cup of drip coffee at this little cafe this morning! So good that I bought the beans to brew at home. The place was packed at 9:30 am on a Friday morning, so its no secret how wonderful it is. Going back tomorrow morning with my husband
I ordered an orange juice which was tasty. I also ordered a quesadilla. It was more like saltines crackers. It was dry, very little cheese. The salsa tasted like spicy canned tomato soup. So, 3 stars instead of 5.
Good vibe, nice start to the morning. Espresso is spot on, pastries need help,. Poor variety and little taste. We tried the lemon & morning glory muffins, both rubbery and sans flavor!
What a gem! Although it may be busy it is worth the wait; the line moves much faster than expected. JP is the ultimate with the baristas a close second. Worth every penny and a welcome deviation to Starbucks. Prime location, just far enough off the main path to keep the lines from being longer!
I like the idea of it,Upscale coffee shop. but customer service sucked and it wouldnt hurt of the barista smiled little bit and shook off her attitude. I felt I had to apologize before asking any questions. To be honest the coffee is just as bad as the attitude. But great job on the location.
Good quality coffee. Nice ambiance. Seating can get tight, especially with people escaping the office or classroom and setting up with their laptops... 2-seat tables become 1-person workstations, leaving the social coffee drinker and friend outside in the heat.
