This location is amazing. For starters, they have the best frozen yogurt in Scottsdale hands down. But the staff is also super friendly and everything was SO clean! I’ve never walked into a dessert shop that was as clean as this one.Highly recommend this Golden Spoon!!

New owners are hard working, retired air force veterans who have three children. I often see their youngest daughter in the store. They purchased the store back in December of 2019, just a few months before the Pandemic hit. These are wonderful people who are running their business right! I’m sure the previous reviews about not being open before noon are not considering the shift in hours to offset their losses after the pandemic. Please be patient and kind with small business owners trying to do the best they can to stay in business. They have NSA (no sugar added chocolate and vanilla) that taste amazing, plus several yummy gluten free flavors. The Salted Carmel is really so creamy and delicious…definitely try that one. They will let you try the yogurt, which is something other places are still not doing. They are WAY cheaper than the self serve places (a quart of yogurt only cost $11+). When I go to other places I never leave without hitting at least $20 for two yogurts. Yogurt is such an awesome, low calorie, low sugar option that’s full of protein and great for your GI.Oh and to the woman who posted about the tip option at the register, I asked why they don’t offer that now (like hundreds of other places) and it’s probably because of your post…just ask the employees if they like their job and are happy with the new management and tips? They must be happy because I’m in there just about every day and I see the same workers that greet me with a smile!

Ordered golden spoon-had the chocolate, Irish mint, and cake batter froyo & each flavor was amazing!

Love this place. Always clean, attentive staff, and I love how easy and orderly it is. I feel like I get more value from this yogurt place, than the do it yourself locations. You can tell they maintain the machines properly because the yogurt always taste fresh, it doesn’t have that gross taste like some other locations, which are not maintained as well. Hope they expand across the valley :-)

Running late, but the posted business hours for today are OPEN until 9pm ..... to my surprise the door was locked at 8:55pm ..... one employee mopping the floor and another behind the counter ..... both froze and looked at each other with shock ..... maybe I am wrong, but I believe stores should be OPEN until the actual closing time ..... no excuse should be allowed especially since nowadays clocks are automatically set by network and cannot claim it was indeed after 9pm!!! obviously craving frozen yogurt and now forced to settle with a store bought replacement is not the same ..... this is just not right!!!

My family arrived to Golden Spoon at 11:25am very excited to have frozen yogurt at Scottsdale Square mall. We waited until 11:43am and the door was still locked! There were no sign of any activity for opening the shop!! We left. Also, while we were patiently waiting, there were 5 more customers who waited a few minutes and left before us.

I absolutely love this place! I got the Carmel frozen yogurt with everything mixture and it was so yummy. I will definitely be going back... plus they do double stamp Tuesdays 🤍

My boyfriend and I went here on Friday around 1:30ish and we we’re greeted by a lady working there. She didn’t seem to happy to be there and was short with words. The yogurt was okay, won’t go back.

I stopped in with my kids after hiking for a treat on New Years eve day. The store was scrupulously clean and we were greeted by Ryan and Khloe. They were so friendly and took much pride in creating our froyo sundaes. Many fresh toppings to pick from and yummy frozen yogurt flavors that change often. We are looking forward to our next visit as we had such a pleasant and delicious experience there. Im very happy to write this review. Wishing the new owner much success.

Used to love this place but the new owner needs to find a different calling...at least keep away from serving yogurt to the public. Tried going back several times, hoping for better results but am done. Should be simple, I know, I know...trust all the recent reviews, he makes an impression.

This place is great! They have so many flavors and are open to suggestions. It’s very clean and the staff is very friendly, and they give you lots of toppings!!

Hey if your looking for a wonderful outing post dinner treat special occasion place to be, this be da place!!! Mango Sorbet .. I had the salted caramel!! Eyes crossed!!! Wowsers! Is that the bomb!!!! I could really hurt myself here multiple flavors Sorbets and Yogurts 3 sizes to choose from .. try it youll be so glad you did !!

If youre looking for real Frozen Yogurt this is the place. Golden Spoon @ Scottsdale location has variety of flavors and they are all delicious. More importantly they are all Non-fat flavors with gluten free!

This place has changed. We used to enjoy going there and the service used to be great. I think it’s under new management. The owner was very rude to us on 3/7/20. Unfortunately we used the bathroom to wash our hands and it wasn’t clean at all. We’re not going back there again. There are other options around with better customer service.

Great frozen yogurt and excellent service!

Rude employee greeted us as we appeared to have interrupted something more important that he was doing in the back. He was annoyed with our presence and was impatient with my kids. He couldnt be bothered to answer questions and he was the opposite of friendly. The yogurt was meh at best. My kids wouldnt even eat it. After spending $35 dollars, the only thing we gained was a lesson learned to never come back. 1st and last time. First impressions!

Very quick and delicious experience here. They will let you sample whatever youd like, and I would highly recommend doing so. Its nice to not have to worry about whether or not you will like something when youre having it. The selection of toppings here is wonderful and not what youll find at every other frozen yogurt place. I had mint and toffee and that was the perfect pairing. The store had a very clean and modern look yet had an old-fashioned diner feel. The service was speedy and we didnt wait more than ten seconds after waking in the door.

The new owners have really turned this place around! Great people with a great product!

This place was closed well after Governor ducey had reopened everything for covid-19 closures. Love Golden spoon, but they really dropped the ball on this one. Went specifically for it and was disappointed. No information was on their website

I get to this store quite often . The new owner is kind and friendly. He has clearly spent time cleaning this place . Previous owner never had a clean store, dirty walls, floors, counters just disgusting. My friend and I are greeted friendly and it’s always a plus to come to a clean store.

I came here with my daughters. Sam was very polite and friendly. They soft serve yogurt was delicious! Their favorite was pumpkin spice and coffee. We will be back!

Sub par in so many ways. Lackluster flavors, poor quality yogurt, small portions. Definitely not worth the price. Tried the basics, chocolate and vanilla. Both were too soft, almost liquid. Texture was off too, in that neither was smooth but instead grainy. The chocolate was flat resembling a weak mix of Nestles Quick in milk. The vanilla was overpowered by the sweetener with little vanilla flavor. Actually, the yogurt at Sweet Tomatoes is superior in all ways and the entire meal there costs about the same as two cups at Golden Spoon. No wonder the place was empty.

The flavor selections are nice and taste great. I like that there is an option to get a mini size but would prefer if I could serve and control my own portions.I would have given 5 stars but when I paid in cash he owed me a couple dollars back and a penny. He only gave me back the dollars. I get it’s only a penny but you’re basically stealing my money by keeping it. Plus if that’s being done to every customer it could add up for money that’s not rightfully theirs.

Friendly service and very good frozen yogurt. A server fills your order which is a nice change of pace.

The prices are very reasonable, the owner was absolutely outgoing and friendly. They make everything fresh their own personal recipes for frozen yoghurt. I dont feel guilty when Im eating it!

I have been going to golden spoon Scottsdale for years. I ask the Asian owner for raspberry and he said they never had it. They did!!! He just never wants to spend extra. Rude attitude when we asked for samples. I have been here over 100 times before this new owner. This was the last time.

I really like this place. Ive been several times with my kids. There are several options of toppings as well as several flavors of non fat and low fat frozen yogurt. The owner is in there quite often and all the other staff has always been great.

This place is amazing! Their product is absolutely great! I love the different flavors that are so different and unique. Kyle & his staff are always so courteous and friendly, very helpful & always a pleasure to do business with.

I got honeycomb yogurt, it was delicious. The service was also great.I was originally going to Subway to get a drink but saw this place. They sold soda but just in cans.People are right about the decor needing an update. I was thinking about leaving while I was in line, and, although there was a sign saying they sold Coke, I was skeptical.Anyway Im glad I stayed because the yogurt was great.

Yogurt was good but tables needed to be cleaned. That was probably because there was only one young man working. Worth going to I would recommend it.

My family and I had a very odd experience at this location. The staff was hidden in the back, then once we were finally greeted, the employee sneezed several times into his arm. Instead of just washing his hands (there was literally a sink right next to him when this happened) he threw his hands up and said theyre clean! theyre clean!. This of course was not comforting. After serving us our order, he quickly retreated to the back and did not return for several minutes. There was no music or any sort of ambiance and the place seemed very eerie. Finally another customer walked in but left because no one greeted her for several minutes. When the staff realized they had missed this client, they chased after her but she was not willing to return. I do not anticipate bringing my family back to this place.

This is one of the best frozen yogurt places around. The owner is family friendly and nice. And most importantly they have great selections of some of the best yogurt ever. I would recommend trying the salted caramel... my mouth is watering right now. Lol They are also open till 10 on the weekends which is really nice for us to go to after an event. They are always happy to see is even if they have to stay an extra few minutes when we get there. :) Thanks for taking VCA :)

Hes very rude to us. He wont allow us to use restroom. We found out that bathroom is very messy. No clesnings on the trahed. Dont go there again. Hes an owner.

Went in with family today.. Very bad customer service by asain man working in front.. Didnt want to offer samples, only wanted to suggest what he recommended.. Will definitely not return, and will suggest the same to friends and family.. As an Asain American, usually support other asain companies but not this one.. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE.. Would give 0 stars if was an option!!!!!

Terrible terrible customer service and ethicate...

Decent selection, of both yogurt and toppings. Used a Groupon to try it, and Im glad I did. The clear portions are a good thing. I guess Im used to places like Yogurtini, where its completely up to you to control the portion. Else Id probably have rated it higher. Staff was very friendly and helpful, so do go and try it.

Half chocolate and half salted caramel frozen yogurt with hot fudge, almonds and crushed graham cracker was the perfect dessert. Delicious!

This owner (Asiawas horrible, we came in with a party of twelve, & he was VERY MEAN!!!! And, the bathroom was FILTHY!!!! Beware!!!! We will NEVER GO AGAIN, because he is RUDE & Ungrateful for business!

The counter man was rude to us. We were a group of 12 people and he didnt get out of his phone to serve us until I asked him if he was more concerned with his phone than his customers. Then the yogurt was tasteless! Go any¹where else.

The yogurt was good, the place was a mess! Dirty tables, dirty floor, dirty counter and overflowing garbage.. gross! The kid working was friendly but did not seem to notice or care that the place was disgusting.
