I wanted to write a review from the perspective of someone who chose not to purchase a mattress after visiting the store. We spent about a half hour in this modest, old-school store and tried several beds. Tahnee was welcoming and helpful, but talked nonstop with many details and statistics. All the beds were covered in heavy plastic, which was somewhat uncomfortable but understandable due to Covid. We settled on our top choice, and asked her to write it up for us. This consisted of Spring Air $2000 written on the back of a business card. No model number or name, no specifics from what we had discussed, no warranty information to review. I called back from the car and told her Id like to go online and look at some reviews, and asked for the model and the specific name of the mattress. Boy, did her tone change then. She took on the tone that you see in a number of their responses to online complaints-- She said it was called The Murphy, but cautioned me to pay no attention to reviews because you know how people are-- always complaining, and everyone has a different opinion, etc. etc. My research turned up no such model on Spring Airs site or on Google anywhere. Very sketchy (like most mattress stores, TBH).Also, when I had asked her opinion on Saatva mattresses, she said, Oh they come folded in a box. Not true at all-- and that is the mattress I ended up ordering. Saatva has a helpful mattress quiz to help you choose (we picked the Classic Luxury Firm), excellent online customer service willing to answer any technical questions via chat, and they made sure I had the best deal from their occasional promotions. Delivery will be in two weeks, and Ill let you know how it goes. Oh, and Saatva has a 180-day home trial, and a very transparent 15 year warranty program.

June 2021 I had the unfortunate experience of buying a mattress through Sack Time Mattress.First: the owners lied about the composition of the mattress. This is not a matter of she said/I said as I recorded my second interaction, which is legal in Arizona. Speaking with the regional Chattam and Wells representative, I also found out Id basically bought a Revere mattress, basically renamed by Sack Time. An online search indicated Id overpaid up to $800.Second: the lining under the box spring was mostly not attached to the frame, thus it dragged on the floor. How could they have missed it??Third: Sack Time had agreed to re-attach our headboard. This did not happen, using some excuse about the post-it falling off the order sheet. When they came back to attach the box spring lining, they tried to re-attach the head board but the two young chaps did not seem to have a clue, nor the proper equipment. With the mattress and box spring scattered around the bedroom but fed up, we dismissed the young men and found someone else to finish the job.I can NOT recommend Sack Time.

Better off going to Mattress Firm or ordering directly from a mattress company. You will at least have protection and a trial period as is the industry norm in case you need to make an exchange.I highly recommend you go to a more customer-centric mattress store. This day in age, exchanges are industry norm because this is such a large and expensive purchase. This store prints on their receipts “All sales are final and non-refundable.” But they tell you verbally they will exchange. I needed to exchange a mattress, and they wouldn’t allow me to. Now I’m stuck with a $2500 mattress that doesn’t work.A bit janky upon entry, I gave SackTime a shot because they advertise their long-standing presence in the community. I like to support local businesses. The first question I asked was what was their exchange policy if a mattress didn’t work. The daughter of the business, very kind and helpful, told me you had seven days from delivery to exchange the mattress. I thought that was fair, certainly not 90 or 120 days, but fair and I wanted to support local business so I went with them.I was shopping for two mattresses and throughout the process the daughter was helpful. Unfortunately, both mattresses felt completely different than the floor models. The first one they exchanged and I spent an additional $1000 on a different mattress (now at $2500 for one mattress).The second mattress, also different from the delivered product to the store product, they would not return. The Mom said there were no exchanges allowed and no refunds. She said to look at the bottom of the receipt, which I signed AFTER speaking to the daughter about her verbal exchange policy. Sure enough, the receipt says “All Sales and Orders are Final and Non-Refundable.”She said I wasn’t in the best condition to make a decision about how something feels (I’m pregnant). Wow – extremely unprofessional. They allowed one and that was it.I asked for the mattress company’s representatives’ name so that I could ask why the floor model and delivered product felt different. She said “Do your own research.”I highly recommend you go to a more customer-centric mattress store. This day in age, exchanges are industry norm because this is such a large and expensive purchase.

Sack time has nice selection of mattresses. You can find items that other stores do not have. Several years ago i bought queen size organic mattress and it didnt disappoint me. I returned back and bought king size mattress. Sack time has quality products and reasonable prices. Both mattress and pillow that I purchased previously at Sack time are my all time favorites. Nickolas is always there, he is very helpful and knowledgeable . He listens to a customer and gives you all information in order for a customer to make a right choice.

In 60 years of being married I have NEVER had a worse experience!!! Do not buy your mattress from Sack Time!!!! The mattress I have now is 2 weeks old and has lumps and valleys ! It is terrible and costs thousands of dollars.

We are extremely happy with our two extra long twin mattresses with adjustable bases. The quality of the mattress material is excellent. And equally great was the manager of the store, Nicolas. He was kind, polite and knowledgeable about many other items in the store. He deserves the best possible compliments.His delivery team was also so very nice, calling us before coming and they were on time. We are more than happy to recommend Sack Time and their refined service to any customer.

BEWARE! DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS FROM THIS STORE!! They are vindictive, dishonest swindlers.I came into the store one evening looking for a mattress. Unfortunately, it was difficult testing them with heavy plastic on all the floor models. Ziva spent an hour with me, I appreciated it and unfortunately, I trusted her. She said the model I was buying was top of the line Beautyrest and use in suites in Westin hotels, justifying the high price. I went ahead and gave them my credit card but asked if I see a better price you will match it right? She said ‘Sure but you will not find a better price.’There was no verbal disclosure that all sales are final and non-refundable at the time of purchase. There is tiny print on the receipt, that is all. All other stores offer a trial and money back guarantee as it is a mattress, unfortunately, I assumed this store would.As soon as I got home, I googled the same mattress and found the MSRP was $1000 less!!The next day I told Ziva what I had found online, and she said I must be looking at the wrong model. Tahnee left a message with me it was Beautyrest L-class level 2. I called the manufacturer and there is no such thing. I called back the store and told them I DID NOT WANT THAT BED! It was NOT what I was told it was. Tahnee called back screaming and accusing me of someone who went around stores wanting free trials (seriously??!) and I repeated that I did not want the bed and felt dishonestly treated. They refused and DELIVERED THE BED ANYWAY AND THREATENED TO JUST LEAVE IT IN MY DRIVEWAY and refused to cancel the sale with an email full of BS.Please see other reviews and complaints on BBB which confirms their dishonesty, trying to change the conversation, and responding to emails and statements with plain lies. I am not the first to experience this behavior from this merchant. So just heed my warning – go elsewhere and confirm the store’s policies prior to purchasing a mattress.

I have had a horrible experience with Sack Time and I do NOT recommend buying a mattress from this store. All sales are final which they deceptively do not point out on the receipt as they verbally told me I could return the mattress if it did not work out. The first mattress I bought they did let me return and I got another mattress but when the second mattress did not work for me then they told me all sales are final and they would not accept a return. I am now in chronic pain everyday and out $4000. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Go somewhere else where you can be sure to get a mattress that you love and have the ability to return if it doesnt work out.

Back to June I was looking for a new mattress and I found unexpectedly SackTime Mattress In the shopping center across my restaurant Arrivederci and as I walked into the shop my very first impression was a wonderful welcoming from Nicolas the manager and I knew immediately I will buy a mattress from him. Delivery and service were great and professional. I highly recommend this small family business.

I bought a trundle bed from Sack Time a year ago. We paid to have it installed by them. Obviously, the idea of a trundle is one bed on top of the other. The first time we went to actually use the trundle and pull out the bottom bed, the top bed fell down. My 19 year-old son was on the floor right in front of me. I called to tell them about it. They sent out two young men out to look at the bed, not wearing masks (which I have photos of on my Ring doorbell). I had to leave for work when they arrived, so the same 19 year-old and my 17 year-old stayed with the men. They didnt see a reason it would be broken--no screws missing, frame was fine, etc.I called to find out what was going on and Tahnee called me back with a rude message. She scolded me because I told her we bought the bed several months ago and it was a year ago. I didnt remember, honestly. She had to go find the records for my bed, which I guess was a task. She said we must have jumped on the bed, thats why it is broken. I couldnt believe my ears so I went in the store to try to remedy this.When I went in the store, Tahnee was the only person in the store. I told her who I was and I was here to talk about the bed. She said she called me already. Again, I couldnt believe my ears. I tried to explain you can see they installed the bed upside down. The tag is on the wrong side! She repeated that it must have been my child who jumped on it. She is pregnant so I asked her if she already has kids because they are not all irresponsible children running around the house jumping on beds and she obviously thinks. It was like an out of body experience.I have never had such a rude person in customer service. I told her I was going to write a review since I could not get ANY assistance with remedying this situation. She said, Ill just write something back about you. Im sure their business has been hurt by the pandemic, but they should do a better job trying to keep the customers they have.

My husband and I were in need of a new king size mattress so we made a visit to Sack Time. We are super happy with our new mattress and can finally get a good nights sleep. I absolutely love that this is a local, family owned business. They are extremely knowledgable and helped me find the perfect mattress. I was experiencing bad back pain from my previous mattress, and after just one night of sleeping on my new Sack Time Mattress, my back pain was almost completely gone. Delivery was also efficient and convenient.

This is our 3rd experience getting mattresses from Sacktime Mattress. Family owned and operated and they are AMAZING in customer service. We ordered mattresses in the middle of this pandemic and they were very accommodating. Tahnee was able to understand what we needed in our mattress as well as my whole families needs (ie my parents and sisters family). We ordered a large lot of mattresses and everything turned out wonderfully. I will always turn to Sacktime Mattress and recommend them to anyone needing mattresses.

I am so lucky to have been recommended Sack Time. I dealt with another company (wont name names) and I was so unhappy with the service and the product so I returned it and wanted to find someone local that really cared about the customer. I had the pleasure of dealing with Nicolas who is the owner, and he was incredibly patient with me and helped me understand the difference between organic and not organic and helped my husband understand why he wasnt having good night sleeps. Terrific service and product quality and I loved the fact this was an authentic family business. That made a huge difference.

We bought our mattress from Sack Time about two months ago. After moving from NY to AZ I wasn’t sure where to look and stumbled upon Sack Time. You will not feel forced to buy out of your price range and they do not push any specific product on you. The worker encouraged we try out as many mattresses are necessary and also asked many questions about our sleep positions and aches & pains we may have. We have been so pleased with our mattress and get a beautiful sleep each night. All the way from the in store shopping to the home delivery, Sack Time is personal, trustworthy, and professional! A truly wonderful experience, from start to finish. Customer service was top notch from the delivery team to the sales team. I would not waste my time going anywhere else. I thought I had an issue with the mattress so I texted them at 6pm with a picture showing my concern. They called me right away and walked me through some measurements to ensure the mattress was not faulty. After nearly 20 minutes on the phone we found it was something with the bed that needed to be adjusted. Problem solved and everything is wonderful.Thanks for such a wonderful experience!

We initially purchased a king mattress about 5 years ago from Sack Time and were very happy with both the product and customer service. So when we recently bought a new trundle bed and needed two twins, it was a no-brainer to return to Sack Time. We had some very specific desires for one of the mattresses .... firm and not bouncy, but very soft on top. Tahnee spent quite a bit of time with me discussing all the options and how the mattresses were made. In the end we decided to go with a custom-made configuration. After trying it for a week or so, it was unfortunately not what I had in mind, and Tahnee took it back no questions asked and exchanged it for the other mattress I had been leaning towards. I am EXTREMELY happy with the new mattress. It is just what I wanted and incredibly comfortable. Sack Time is probably not the least expensive option out there, but you get what you pay for. In this case, they delivered above and beyond in terms of both product and service, and I love that they are a small, family-run business. I highly recommend them.

This store has the most outstanding service and support for a mattress store, which is Difficult to distinguish in a field that has so many different claims.The claims on mattresses in general, is so misleading, that when you find a company that actually stands behind and supports their claims, is very rare.My wife and I bought a mattress from them about forty years ago, and it lasted almost 15 years. Recently we went back to Sack Time and bought a new mattress, had some misfortunes with it, and Tahnee helped us replace it at no charge . No hassle, and it only took a few days.We support the store.

After going to all the typical mattress stores and having not only really bad experiences with cliche cheesy salesman, but also lack of product we came across Sack Time while looking for lunch and decided to drop in. To our delight the experience was a million times better than any other establishments that we had shopped at before. Nicholas and his team spend a good deal of time with us, educating us on all we needed and wanted to know about different types of mattresses. What we were looking for is not carried at your typical mattress store, however Sack Time was able to put together an option for us that no one could and get it to us in only a few days. Most comfortable mattress Ive owned yet and weve owned about every brand.. The pricing was great, the service was even better.. I highly recommend Sack Time, you will not be disappointed!

Nick is very knowledgeable about organic bedding, in fact he knew & understood more about the topic than any other organic bed stores Id visited with. He even taught me some uncommonly known secrets about organic bedding .... ask him !The custom made mattress arrived exactly as described (if not better)There is a settling in period as he told me, but from the first night on sleeping on this bed is getting better & better as my muscles are altering to being correctly supported.The quality & length of sleep time is greatly improved with each new night.Im like a kid, I cant WAIT to lie down on my cloud.I ordered a very firm mattress which it is but feels really gentle.Thank you Nick.

I bought a king set for my master a few weeks ago. I went a first time to evaluate all the options and prices and came back a second time to finalise my choice. I didnt feel any pressure to buy at any time and made up my mind in a peaceful environment: priceless in this world...I wanted to wait a few weeks before posting a comment as I wanted to be sure about the quality of the product. I am extremely satisfied by my bed. I received accurate advices that helped me choosing the right mattress for me. I have a very bad back and could not afford to pick the wrong one.You can be sure to have the right product at the right price, buying from this business. They have been around for years and should be already bankrupt if they were not delivering a top service...The installed the bed on time and took away my old bed.Hope my comment will help someone who need a good mattress store.

Horrible people! Watch what you sign! These people will flat out lie to you. With all the reputable mattress companies out there honestly competing for business, with quality products, why buy from a company that does not offer returns? Tawnee, the manager, is very rude. She called me at my home, was verbally abusive and then hung up within five minutes of me posting a negative review. It’s a shame these people are still in business. Caveat emptor

Beware of Sacktime and Spring Air mattresses. If you have a warranty claim they will deny it. In my case they found a small mark on the mattress to be replaced and denied my claim. This was not a significant stain or a soiled mattress. It was insignificant. Why do they care anyway? They must be planning to resell it somewhere. Tanya White was very argumentative and unpleasant to work with.

Very nice people and a good shopping experience, but disappointed in the quality of their store brand mattress. Just after four years we finally had to get rid of it after the indentations just became too uncomfortable.

I purchased an Aireloom mattress from this store that is very conventionally located after I was recommended by their amazing representatives for my back pain and after I slept on it for the 1st week, I no longer wake up with back ache. The mattress feels like im sleeping on a cloud and is very good quality. They also have a great selection of other mattresses for everyones needs. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to buy or change their mattress.

I cannot rave enough about my experience Sack Time. My mother and I are in the process of moving from NY to Arizona. We, while we were still in NY, Nicolas made sure to deliver our mattresses before we were able to move into our apartment. Not only that, I SENT Ziva a bedskirt and asked for her to put in on my bed when they set up. Nicolas, Ziva, and Tahnee went out of their way to help us with our cross country move, and just made things so much easier. Never once did I receive a no from them.They were anxious to help, and all have the most friendly loving personalities. Thank you, the family at Sack Time, for going out of your way to help us with no glitches at all!

My husband and I are very happy with our experience at Sack Time. Weve been searching for a mattress that was non-toxic yet supportive enough that we could sleep comfortably without waking in pain. We tried other mattresses from a few other places in the valley but they didnt work out. Thousands of dollars later we ended up at Sack Time. Tahnee made it her mission to find a mattress for us that would work for both our needs. Her expertise, knowledge and true desire to help us find a perfect mattress made for a wonderful experience. Ziva was very helpful assisting me and my wife. She was knowledgable about the different options but did not put us under pressure to buy any particular mattress. We had looked for mattresses at several other shops before finding just what we were looking for at Sack Time. All in all we had a great experience.

Absolutely atrocious company. An issue with a mattress took a month to just send an inspector who wrongly assessed the mattress to be faulty when it was in fact the base. (We didnt know at the time) This caused the store to offer a new custom mattress which we accepted. We were specific in our needs and were assured wholeheartedly that the mattress that was to be built would be as soft and supple as the one we returned.This was not the case at all. In fact they gave us a mattress that was too high and as firm a firm can be. They took it back and remade it and it returned to us the right height but still as hard as a mattress can get.They since realized the base of the bed was the noise issue and replaced that but have left my wife with a mattress that disallows her to sleep! And it was an extremely expensive mattress to boot!They dont care because they are not forced to sleep on it and have refused to fix the issue. Have a problem...guess what youre on your own where Sacktime is concerned. They make huge promises, set huge expectations and deliver on none of them!The owners wife Ziva tried to claim our mattress was super soft at our home. Just lies to your face ! I slept on the mattress myself and can say it was the worst most sleepless and painful experience for a $2000+ mattress.Stay away! We will file a law suit shortly and consumer complaint.

There are mattress stores and there is SACKTIME, an experience like no other...from the start, their staff will make you feel comfortable in your search for the right mattress...I liked mine so much, I returned the following week to get another one of the same kind for a different room...I recommend that store to anyone looking for the the right mattress.
