My Land Rover was damaged while parked in front of my house. Caliber was the insurance company preferred shop. The whole experience was exceptional. Beginning with my walk through and on through the repair completion, Rory was the service person keeping me constantly informed. It was a relief not to have to wonder what stage my car was at or if there were any issues. I picked up the finished car and it looked great. Good as new. I hope I dont need their work again but if I do I would definitely go back to Caliber.

Sadly, my second minor collision using the Caliber Collision shop in North Seattle at 9200 Aurora Ave N 98103. The shop is close to my work and has an excellent working relationship with Farmers Insurance and Enterprise Car Rental. The people make this shop exceptional! Rory, my contact associate, kept me well informed on the progress and the repair people did an outstanding job. If you can dodge the stupid City of Seattle street closure on N. 92nd, you will not be disappointed!

I was the victim of a hit and run on April 19th. My right rear quarter panel was pretty crunched in, right on the body line. Keep in mind, the car was finished on the day I was told it would be done. BUT, it was still not fixed. There was a pretty good sized dip in the fender against the door that was extremely visible. There was also a scratch in the paint on the inside of the door jamb (which happened after it was repainted) and a paint bubble that popped and opened up to expose the sheet metal under the rear quarter window. So, I told them I didnt like how it looked and they rescheduled me to get it fixed and repainted again on their dime along with a free rental. When I got my car back, the body looked great BUT there was overspray from the paint booth that was left on the side of my front seats, the windshield (couldnt get a good photo of it), the weatherstripping around the door jambs and on the plastic paneling next to the back seat. I dont understand why they didnt think to clean it off when they were done. The paint on the rear passenger quarter panel is color matched, BUT there is a definite difference in whites from the QP to the edge of the door jamb. And no, its not dirty. I tried to wash it off. When I went to pick my car up the second time, all the lights on the dash were on (Check Engine and stability/traction control were solid, and my Center Diff control/SI-Drive lights were flashing) they plugged in their code reader and cleared the codes without my approval. I dont appreciate that happening ESPECIALLY when they didnt even tell me what codes were pulled. My insurance put a lot of money into getting my car fixed and it still isnt really how it was before the accident.I wont be taking my car back there again because they really didnt do good work and left my car a mess. I know it doesnt look like much overspray, but if you went to pick up your car and it looked like this, Im sure youd be pretty irritated as well.Is my car fixed? Yes, it is. But not to the quality of my standards or factory standards.I have an appointment to bring it back in for the third time on Monday, May 22nd to get the interior detailed and cleaned up, but Im really not sure if I want to take it back to them (because of my previous experiences), even though they are going to clean it for free. Also, this has nothing to do with anybody who works in the office. They were all very accommodating. I just wish it wouldve been fixed the first time.

I have had my car back to this shop 4 times to have work done, work fixed, fixed again, and now fixed again. Parts did not fit right. Paint does not match. Screws missing from body panels. Clips missing from front bumper weel wells. Car still does not drive correctly. They tried to charge me extra money after my deductible was already paid. Definitely a second rate shop that does shabby work. Now the car has tire damage from driving the car out of alignment. My car does not hold an alignment for more that 30 days. Never had this issue in the 140,000 previous miles on the car. Car would not drive straight. Car was out of alignment 3 months straight. After 3 alignments and paying for the last one out of pocket because Geiko would not pay for another alignment, I was forced to trade my car in for a different car. I lost around $20,000 in the value of my car. Geiko should have checked to see if the frame was bent and totaled the car. Instead I took the hit for the damage to the car on trade in. This is the worst shop in Seattle. I will be reporting all this to the better business bureau.

Damaged Vehicle During Repair & Wont Take Responsibility- I was recently referred to Abra Auto Body for a vehicle repair. The responsible party’s insurance company, Farmer’s Insurance, is partnered with this shop and recommended them. At some point in the repair process, the mechanics detached my sunroof drain tube causing a leak in my driver side door. Living in Seattle this is very serious. When I took it to the shop they could not find the cause of the leak and the general manager, Eric, sent me to the Toyota Dealership to get a diagnosis. Toyota discovered the detached tube, reattached it, and confirmed and documented the damage was from the repair. I sent the bill ($150.00 ) for this correction to the shop to be reimbursed. The office has been difficult to get a hold of and after 2.5 weeks Eric finally responded and is only offering to pay for half of the repair even though they have a lifetime guarantee on their work and caused the damage. He said that half the cost is all his regional manager is approving. I believe this is wrong, if the shop caused the damage, referred me to get it confirmed at the dealership and has the confirmation in hand it should be a no brainer that the reimbursement must take place. As I’ve researched what to do next, I’ve been referred to the Better Business Bureau for their dishonesty. Such a shame.

Highly disappointed by this shop in every way. I was involved in an front end accident that was not my fault, the lady whos fault it was, was driving a rental car so I knew it was going to be a hassel getting my truck fixed, but this shop made it 20 times more of a hassel.I dropped my truck off on a Monday and didnt hear from my service advisor Andrew until the following week on tuesday, I figured my truck was being fixed this whole time, instead it took him 8 days to call me and let me know that he had not been able to reach the insurance company for approval. So I gave him all the information again. Then on the following Wednesday, he called to let me know it should be ready on Thursday if all goes well. so I waiting for a call on Thursday to let me know my truck was ready,no call. I finally just showed up on Friday and was able to pick up my truck. When I picked up my truck, there was a new stratch on my door, some sort of chemical spray inside my truck ruining plastic trim and still wont come off my windshield, the messed up my visor on my window so my window wouldnt roll up correctly, and they had replaced my headlight with a non factory headlight. I understand that it was the insurance company who approved what parts for replacement however this was the lowest quality headlight I had ever seen, it was aimed at the ground and they put a complete different quality and color of head light in my truck, which the one that was in it when I dropped it off still worked perfectly fine ($70 light). I called that night, Friday, because I was highly disappointed by the light I was supposed to receive a phone call Monday morning about getting it replaced from Eric the general manager, again no call. so I went there and he took a look at my head light, said he could adjust it, then admited they had put in a faulty headlight unit.I express to Eric I had to have it fixed by Friday because I was going on a road trip that I would be driving at night in the snow and I needed to be able to see. I called on wednesday, wasnt there yet. I called again on Thursday around 2 pm to see if it had arrived, mind you Im leaving at 4 am the next day, and Eric says oh ya it showed up this morning. You would think if you have an irritated customer that waiting for that headlight as soon as it came in, you would call, but nope he then had to have a tech stay late because they leave at 330. I also asked for them to replace the bulb (Eric did offer to replace the bulbs also) with the same matching color and I wanted white light because thats what I had before, they should have repaired my vehicle as close as they could to it condition before the accident. In the 45 minutes I was waiting for my light to be replaced with a correct lights, 2 customers came in to pick up there vehicles. The first lady came back in because a tech had left a soda pop can in her car and the second customer came back in because they didnt mind wiped the car paint pen off they use to mark the areas that needed to be fixed. Its now been about 6 weeks since all this happened and the brand new bulbs they put in my truck, 1 has already gone out and so I had to purchase my $70 light again. There is still some sort of chemical splatter on my windshield and plastic trim that i am still working to remove (still not sure why they were inside my truck with something that sprays). When you are in an accidnet the body shop could at least try to make a stressful situation easier they definitely maybe it twice as stressful. The general manager Eric obviously doesnt care about customer service or the work his shop is putting out. I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone, and I doubt the other 2 customers would either.

Abra is a preferred shop for our insurance. They do high quality work - weve had two repairs done here and you cant even tell that there was damage. They give a lifetime warranty on their work, though I cant comment on that because thankfully we havent had to use it. The staff has always been friendly. My only complaints are how long it takes to do repairs and the fact that despite the sign saying drop in estimates you really have to make an appointment to get one done.

I had a terrible experience here, on top of an already horrible experience with my accident.I was recommended to bring my car here by my insurance company and when I brought it in, the adjuster Debbie checked out my car and told me what scope of work might be needed. I left it there on a Wednesday morning. By end of day, I had not heard anything about my car and needed to call in to ask for an update. Debbie told me what they found, how they were going to fix it, and when it might be ready. The next day, I had to call again for an update. Debbie said they were finishing up the painting, would clean the car and I could pick it up by 7. I got there around 6:30 and they charged me the wrong amount that was not what my deductible was or what my insurance adjuster quoted me. I had to pull up my e-mails and documents to straighten this out and pay the correct price. When the person pulled my car up, he said they had forgotten to wash and detail it. How do you forget this? If its standard? I was in a rush and needed my vehicle the next day for personal use, so I asked if I could bring it back on Friday. They said that was fine.On Thursday, I walked up to my car and noticed that the same scratches from the accident were still visible and NOT painted over well. I called ABRA to ask what they actually did to my car, because nothing seemed fixed. Debbie then said they had done something different to my car than what she originally told me, with a very nonchalant attitude. I told her that I was disappointed that my car wasnt fixed as I paid money for this. She blamed the insurance company. She also stated she would be happy to come get my car and bring it back to the shop for a wash and detail since they forgot. We agreed to a time on Friday morning and when that day/time rolled around, no one called. Three hours later, I got a text from her saying that she would have a team out after 1pm. I told her this was not what we discussed and that I had things to do. No response from her.Im VERY disappointed and will not be recommending this shop to anyone.

After he failed to actually complete the repair.Feel free to call and express your concerns - clearly this guy need some support in understanding costumer services.*My gold car still has a silver bumper*-Still not satisfied with any of the low quality repairs.Ultimately- the district manager decided to pick up the bill at an independent non-abra shop......... after 4 visits to the location in which his team could not complete a very simple repair. The desire to reuse damaged parts, used parts and bully clients of insurance companies for their profit margins-Is glaringly clear-Best to avoid these people at all costs.

Horrible place, dont go here ever.First, they caused scheduling problems, committing to one time and then at the last minute asking me to come some other time as the previous time was not available.Second, I agree to that time and get the car for repair and they make me wait for an hour there just to tell me they forgot to book the rental car that we had agreed to before. So I had to go to enterprise separately and spend time getting the car which took another hour of overhead.Third, they dont cover OEM parts with their insurance partner, and during signing they say we can work something out later. They give some extra amount for OEM parts cost, and then the amount changes just on the day of getting the car back. The whole OEM parts affair surely feels extremely sketchy. This is not the first time I am going through all this, trust me there are way better Auto Body Repair shops right in the neighborhood. And lastly, two months after the repair is done they leave a voicemail saying I have some outstanding balance of $871 and theyll call collections if I dont pay within 24 hours. I had not only cleared all payments, but also paid additional cost just because their insurance partner does not cover for OEM parts. To top it all they have extremely rude people to work with and poor quality service.

While waiting in their waiting room I had to listen to their receptionist talking loudly about her in laws. They answer their phone maybe 1 out of 4 times during business hours. I left voicemails three times, they didnt call me back ever. It took them 4 days to give me a quote on my repairs, and then they never sent the quote to my insurance even after repeatedly calling them and asking them to. My car sat on their lot for over three weeks before it could be declared a total loss.I will never take my car to this shop again for any reason. Took my brand new Honda in for a minor fender bender because Geico recommended this place. I picked my car up only to have the engine stall out on the way home (less than ten minutes of driving). Had it towed back to Abra under suspicion that this was related to the work they did and Abra informs me that they have an excellent in house mechanic before I even had a chance to ask questions. Very suspicious. After keeping the car for over a week (and telling me about the hundreds of dollars worth of hours they put into my car) they still wouldnt tell me anything about what was actually wrong. At the same time they told my insurance representative that they didnt have any mechanic working there at all. I finally had the car towed to a different shop only to find that the timing belt had mysteriously gone out. Moral of the story is that these people are crooks and you should seriously reconsider taking your car here unless you want it to mysteriously fall apart when theyre finished.

Id like to start out by saying that the customer service manager Randy Barrett is a nice guy. Hes the only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of 1.I was side swiped by a kid and his insurance was to take care of the repairs. 2 things that were supposed to be taken care of in the first place by Abra were not, and I had to pay out of my pocket for them to be done correctly. The first thing was the door edge mylar (clear protector). The first time it was done, there were 3 huge bubbles. After a few weeks, I had to pull tooth and nail just to have it done again. The mobile sublet for mylar work was not there, so Francisco (one of the techs) applied the mylar. When I inspected his work, it looked worse than the first time. He stated it was normal and rushed me out of the shop. After a few weeks, the bubbles were still there, so I paid a more professional shop do it correctly. The second thing was the side view mirror. The damaged side view mirror had a carbon fiber wrap that needed to be replaced. For a little over a month, I was driving around with only one side view mirror with a wrap. Abra would not take care of it after several back and forth emails, which ended in me asking a question left unanswered (I can provide the emails in case Abra tries to delete this review). I ended up paying out of my pocket to have the side view mirror wrapped.I told Randy that I would give excellent feedback on a survey if these 2 things were taken care of. Since they were not, I am here leaving an honest review of their workmanship, or lack thereof. I would find a different business if you want your vehicle taken care of properly. If you dont mind sub-standard workmanship, then Abra just might be what youre looking for.

I havent got my car back but I already have a bad customer experience with them, I was using Geico directly to claim my body repairing on the bumper and drivers rear panel. I checked it on Tuesday, the paperwork is very fast as I use the Geico Xpress online, and they initially gave me a 10 days repairing estimation and said it should be done by the end of next week, they sent me a real emailing update about the car is being taking care of, and when I called the next week on Thursday they said the parts were just delivered and start repairing. how could it take 6 business days for getting the parts without sending me a message about the delay? then, now, they postpone another week and said the ETA is 21 days from the beginning, its a double of original ETA!!! I trusted Geico and their services, but it made me 100% disappointed with both of them after this claim. If youre not Xpress, please DO NOT TITLE yourself as Xpress, youre losing your customers!
