I just bought a used vehicle from them and as it turns out, Im disappointed. My problems are with their service department. But to be honest, their sales and service go hand and hand. Anyways let me get to it.When I bought the vehicle, I asked what services have been done to the vehicle. Our salesman said that any vehicle that get in, it goes through a multi point inspection to make sure its OK to sell.. I get it homeand I can hear a little miss in the engine, so I knew it needed new plugs. I pull the plugs only to find one of them was actually cracked.i move on to the air and cabin filters. The cabin filter was actually missing and the air filter was 100% blocked. It also had about a gallon of acorns stored in the air intake. Squirrel were building a nest inside of it.Now if this vehicle had actually been inspected...all of these things would have been found.

I had a horrible experience with the service department at the Bossier location. I switched to the Shreveport location and Chase Johnson was no less than amazing! He took great care of my car the 2 and a half days it was there and went out of his way to help me move 2 car seats out of the complementary loaner back to my Pilot! He kept me updated on the progress and let me know as soon as it was ready. He let me know what was going on with the vehicle and didnt try and sell unneeded services. Chase is a star employee! Holmes Honda give that man a raise!!!

I love my new purchase! Holmes has a very friendly and helpful atmosphere. My salesman, Patrick Latin, was extremely knowledgeable and a great asset in my purchase experience. His explanation of the car’s history and condition ultimately sold me over. I felt that he was genuinely concerned about me getting the best vehicle for me instead just trying to sale me a car. I would recommend he and Holmes to anyone!Update 3/30/19: Looks like I spoke too soon!These last past 3 weeks have been pure hell! I purchased my Cadillac XTS on 3/11. Once I was able to continue driving it, I hear noise coming from near the front right wheel. I called Holmes and notified them immediately by Wednesday 3/13. I was told to take it to local Cadillac dealerships, everything should be fine. Well I made an appointment, got it over to a certified Cadillac dealer and was told that there were problems with the struts and that was causing, and would continue to cause problems with driving. They estimated about $2000 in repairs! Not including the cost of diagnostic and me having to take off work because I didn’t want the problems to be assessed too far from when I brought the car. Holmes advises me at this point.. “Oh that seems a little pricey, take it to another certified dealer.” So I take off another morning from work, take my car to another dealer, who diagnoses the same problem and a few dollars (literally) cheaper than the first dealership. Not to mention I’ve now paid for two diagnostic examinations. I send this paperwork in. Holmes shifts the blame elsewhere. Does nothing to attempt to accommodate or help this customer, who was just so valued days before; not the helpful response has shifted to, that’s your problem. What troubles me most is that everyone I talked to at the dealerships before I brought the vehicle it were assuring me, “This car has been through a thorough inspection and everything on this car is in tip top shape,” definitely to my detriment! Only to find out that that could be the furthest from the truth! Now I have to drive from Leland, MS where I practice law back to Louisiana to get this part fixed. Having to take off another day of work and expense for me. Holmes wouldn’t even consider allowing me a loaner vehicle while my car is to be fixed so I wouldn’t have to miss work AGAIN! I thought that would be the least they would have offered for three weeks of hell, to try and rectify the problem! I believe in transparency and I thought that it would be a disservice for anyone to read my review and be misled. I definitely spoke to fast, and regret my decision to shop with Holmes!

My experience has been excellent. Our new Honda had an electrical problem. The interior lights were not functioning at all. Our salesman made sure that the problem was corrected completely. This involved a loaner car for us. When the problem was corrected, he personally drove our car 75 miles to us so we wouldn’t have to drive the loaner car back to the dealer. I took my 2019 Honda Civic to get a recall fixed on a Friday, Monday morning it quit on us. We had to pay to get it towed to Holmes Honda in Shreveport. They couldn’t/wouldn’t give me a loaner and it was their fault😡

I thought this was a great place to buy a car and have it serviced/repaired. But, I now how seem what all the negative reviews have dealt with. I paid to replace the lower engine cover and any supporting plastic parts or screws/clips. What they ordered didnt include anything other than the engine cover and instead of telling me they were missing parts, they used zip ties in place of a locking screw. When I found out about it, I reported it to them and was never contacted again. It truly boggles me as to why someone would choose to use zip ties in a location that risks contact with concrete curbs.

Very clean. 5-7 employees said hello or waived. Service underwriters very friendly. Only thing is I feel anytime I go to a dealership I’m being upsold. I was told my battery didn’t pass a charge test. I’ve put 3 batteries in our Honda van. I’ve switched my inside lights to off to make sure kids don’t leave lights on to burn the battery. Service writer did mention some things to keep an eye on for me which is good customer service. I do feel when car shopping at Honda dealerships the sales folks boast about their vehicles durability but when I go to get service on their vehicle all kind of “issues” come up. Overall great customer service and very friendly and welcoming but trying to up-sell can come across as a little too much.

I recently bought a Honda CR-V. My experience at the dealership was TOP NOTCH. Stephen Bryan was my salesman and he did an AWESOME job. My finance person was Seth. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would recommend this dealership and salesman to others.

I recently got a Honda Pilot (that I absolutely LOVE!!!). After the ice/snow storm, the cold weather was throwing off the air pressure in my tires. I drove up to service without an appointment and someone immediately helped me and filled my tires for free. I didn’t even have to get out of my car. I was in and out in 5 mins! The Holmes team is the best and blows me away every time!

Staff was nice, friendly to myself, my mother and Sister. We didnt see eye to eye on the trade in. We went to the Bossier Store and it was worse. The salesman had given me the wrong information regarding the warranty. I didnt like that the manager who was looking at the car was calling the salesman and discussing what one store offered, then blame it on the door that needed wd 40. Over all, God Always Work Everything Out For The Good. He Never Fail.
