This shop has been around a long time- the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. Mechanics here are well trained and really look at your overall safety and longevity of your car. The quality is top notch. All work comes with warrantees and when you leave, your pocket book may be lighter but your car is stronger and safer! Don’t underestimate this team, they are honest and will take good care of you and your car.

Took my BMW here, my wife’s BMW has been here as well, and have had a reasonable service. I do like there lifetime break warranty; hope my cars last that long.The only odd thing was payment. They had to get paid that day even though I was picking up on Monday. We had been a family vacation in Mystic and had to leave an event after receiving 4 phone calls from the place. Listen, I get policy, but this forced me to use a card I didn’t want to use. The guy on the phone was extremely nice and I do understand it was not him; this seems to be an ownership thing. Anyway, I would still be back but will just bring cash same day.

First time using Meineke in Shrewsbury... I could not be more pleased! I had purchased tires online and needed a shop to install them. I had called and talked to other shops in the area who all were extremely unprofessional about my request. I called Nate at Meineke this morning and not only was he polite, friendly, and professional, he got me in same day! I got my tires mounted and balanced at a great cost, and a 4-wheel alignment that tracks true. Nate also provided me with a free loaner car so I didnt have to wait around for the hour. When coming in to pick-up my car I remembered I needed an inspection sticker... Nate got it right in and done and I was on my way.... I will definitely be doing business with this shop again! Good customer service goes a long way!

After putting a new alternator in at Advance that morning, my pickup was still having issues so I asked them who to get to check on it. This was their second recommendation, so I went over there. When I went back to pick it up, I spoke to the guy who worked on it and he said a wire to the alternator had slipped off of it. When I got inside, my bill was $825 and I was told that they put a new alternator on my pickup and it took 2 hours labor to do it. (After I had put one on that morning in 45 minutes using someone elses tools.) Their alternator cost me nearly $500 and I told them I had put one on it that morning. The one I bought was $143. Both were refurbished. The fella at the desk did not want to give me my alternator back, but I demanded it since I had just bought it and put it on that morning. When I took it back to Advance, they checked it and said it tested fine. Be careful of this place - its dishonest.

Even we renew our registration.. they expect a hard copy for inspection.... but other shop they take it from there computer and inspect...

Travelling cross country in my van when my brakes started having problems. rotors, pads and callipers needed replacing. They were able to to get me in the same day and make the repairs necessary within a few hours. I was on the road again that afternoon. Their prices were on par with many local mechanics.

Meineke personnel is generally trying to sell me more service than my car actually needs, and their approach is rather aggressive. I have to push back to get what is actually needed. I wont come back.

They told me my compressor needed replaced...just found out today!!!!THEY UNPLUGGED IT!!!!(at least they didnt break it like other reviews have said theyve done)So glad I went to a new shop. These ppl are shady dont trust.Took my car in for one front brake locking up and thought Id finally fix the AC. $400 they count fix AC but refilled the fluid(already knew that wouldnt work and told them that) and they say that brake was perfectly fine it was different brake they thought was problem but didnt have the parts in stock but Im still charged. And now my car is squilling and self accelerating and I never had any problems like this ever till the day I picked it up from here. I dont recommend and if I lived near here I wouldve came back into the store for answers but I went here on vacation.

I ran into an issue and they were very prompt on how it is to be dealt. My car was towed in and diagnostics were carried out. All repairs were carried out within a day and I also got to use their vehicle for free till my car wasn’t repaired. Highly recommend them.

These guys did a great job. They gave me a loaner vehicle while they worked on my car. Initially they could not get my compressor to work & the job was going to cost me 1,200. I gave them the go ahead & an hour later the manager called me to let me know they ended up getting my compressor to work. The job ended up costing me $156.00 instead! I was very grateful for their honesty!!!

The Meineke on the Worcester/Shrewsbury line is my go-to place for just about everything I do with my car. The pricing is for the most part fair, and most importantly they take care of your car. They also accept the Synchrony Meineke credit card which has saved me on more than a few occasions. If you are credit worthy, you can make interest-free payments for 6 months if you pay more than $200. Most importantly the staff treats you with respect. You can tell its family-owned. Its not one of these shops where these guys upsell you on everything. In some cases, they may even give you a loaner car if your repair takes a lot of time.I go here for just about everything except tires unless its an emergency. (And that is only because they dont carry Goodyears. Im a stickler about tires) If my Dad ever needs me to take his car for service, I take it here too.Give them a shot!

I have brought both of my cars in for routine maintenance and repairs. They always provide prompt, friendly service and are quick to call me at the first sign of an issue. We walked out to our parking lot today to a flat tire on my girlfriends car. We called them up at 1PM to see if they could squeeze us in to resolve the issue. Despite being extremely busy and a few hours away from close, they managed to get us an appointment, repair the tire, and have the car ready to be picked within two hours of making the call. Meineke in Shrewsbury is and always has been a trustworthy and capable mechanic. I cant imagine going anywhere else! Phil and Mike are phenomenal and treat you like family.

Absolutely horrible service. I was 100% taken advantage of since I’m a young girl and was by myself. I went in to receive an inspection sticker and failed due to 2 balled tires on the front of my vehicle. The gentlemen who works at the front desk told me that I failed and that I will be receiving a red rejection sticker and that he can give me a quote for the cost of 2 new tires. I then asked the gentlemen if I could come back a different time since it would take an hour for the tires to be put on. He proceeded to tell me that since I have a red rejection sticker I could pull out of their parking lot and get pulled over and my vehicle towed on the spot. I asked him “don’t you have at least a week to fix the repairs before the police will tow the vehicle”. He continue with saying that this was NOT true because it is a red rejection sticker not a black one and continue to go on how I can once again get pulled over and towed. This of course frightened me and I felt like I clearly had no other choice besides to get the 2 new tires at that moment which was BEYOND overpriced at $445. As you can see I’m disgusted with how I was treated and taken advantage of. I did my research afterwards and found out that I was lied to and I was correct about the red rejection sticker. And was overcharged. Definitely do not recommend this place and am once again disgusted that this gentlemen could so easily lie to me and have no remorse at all. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR SERVICE.

I usually dont write reviews unless its really excellent or its really bad. In this case, its the latter.Long story short. This place is a RIP OFF if you dont know what you are getting into. Would NEVER EVER recommend this place to anyone.Price they tried to charge = $1350+$600 = $1950/-Price I paid at the end = $1250+$100 = $1350/- (which is still more than the quote I got from Honda Herb Chambers).Here is my complete experience. I went for brake pad/rotor replacement (for both axels), engine oil change, air/oil filter change, and transmission fluid replacement for my Honda Civic.1. I called few days earlier to book an appointment for the same. The front desk lady was very pushy insisting on getting my car serviced on the same day. She was like the brakes might fail if you delay your service. What would happen in if I delay for 2~3 days! It was too funny to hear though. I guess they were just trying to bring in people to their shop. I shouldve sensed the RED flag then.2. On the day of service, I was given a quote of $1350 for all the services I requested. I knew exactly how much it would cost since I had enquired from Honda herb chambers and a friend of mine had got the same thing done at Meineke few weeks ago. Asked the guy to give me the breakdown of price. I noticed they had added ~$100 extra to replace fuel injection (which I hadnt asked for). Removed it and total came around $1250.3. I looked at the new breakdown and in second page they had included labor cost. I explicitly asked Natan (the guy at the front desk) if all the charges including labor charges were included. He said everything was included. I dropped of my car and headed my home.4. I got a call from Natan once I reached home saying the labor charges for brakes were not included and it would cost me $600 more. This was very funny and outrageous at the same time. I saw the labor charges that was included in the breakdown (in page 2). In return, I asked him what were that labor charge (which was around $200) listed in the original breakdown. He said its for oil change an filter change. Even a toddler can see that this was a rip off.5. After yelling and arguing for 15 minutes, I had pay $100 more than what I agreed upon when I left my car (Remember he said it would cost $600 more at the beginning).I did read lot of negative reviews about this place before going in. However, I made a big mistake going there.PS: I did ask for free A/C inspection that was offered in the package (not telling them that my A/C wasnt blowing cold air). They said everything was fine. I bet they didnt check anything here.NEVER EVER going to this place in my life.

This was my first time going to Meineke. I went for an oil change and 15 pt inspection on my 2020 Compass. Mike was great! Very professional, courteous and personable. He recommended my tires balanced and I felt the price for everything was very reasonable and I left feeling my first tune up was done thoroughly. I will definitely be back for all my future service needs!!

Ive always been coming here to get my car inspected because of the convenient location. I recommended a friend who just got their MA plate. They charged $15 for changing the plate. Seriously!??!?! It literally takes 2 minutes to switch a license plate. Will not be coming back here again, who knows how much they will charge if something actually needs to be fixed.

Honest and great service done in a timely matter at a fair price. They even have complementary cars to lend you while your car is being repaired. It is great because I don’t need a ride and it doesn’t interrupt my day. I totally recommend them for the care of your car.

I came for an A/C check with Recharge and an oil change on 7/29/20. I am not getting the expected coolness and the diagnosis is vague - potential compressor issue. Not happy with the service. Further, i was suggested to do Fuel Injection service, Power Steering Flush, Coolant Flush while ready to pickup the car (with discount) which i agreed. I doubt this was done completely as all this was done within 30 minutes or so. I suspect they simply topped off these liquids without any flushing.. Disappointed. I will be hesitant to go there for any major service.8/5/20 - Carolyn from this shop called me to follow up on this issue and agreed to do a check up again. As promised, they did a recharge and checked again today. Found no issue - no leaks etc. possibly Compressor is not pulling enough coolant and suggested it to be changed. Rest of the flush service was done too. Will live with this less coolness for the rest of the summer since the cost is around $1200/- for the compressor work. Thanks for taking the comments seriously and checking it.

First I appreciate that they are practicing social distancing safety their establishment was very clean and everyone was wearing a mask.Thankfully this is one of the few places that are operating at reasonable hours and at a reasonable cost. My van has been way overdue for a muffler and what they call a resonator.Found out that my outer tire rod ends were rusted and a cause for intermittent vibration in what I thought was tires they actually save me $300 dollars in tires. Finished all services same day I will have credit with them now with their credit option so my van will soon be in top condition.I will definitely be back!

Hi Im a very busy person invoked in the electronics development industry and travel frequently. Well I recently had a major issue occur with my vehicle. My total experience was nothing short of positive and decided to take time and share with you.My car developed a loss of power and warning lights. Had my warning lights checked at a local service station and they told me its time for a new Catalytic converter and possibly sensors.I called a few shops and choose Meineke because they were able to see my car same day, they have nationwide warranty coverage and a bonus for me they offer a Meineke Credit/Membership card. Right now Im utilizing credit options due to COVID-19.Upon arrival I was promptly greeted and after filing out the estimate paperwork my car was inspected for loss of power issue. They confirmed and explained my Catalytic converter was in fact the primary cause of loss in power. They also did a free complete vehicle inspection that made me aware of my out of date fluid maintenance specifically transmission & coolant systems, also very dry and cracked wiper blades and a much needed alignment and tire balance. I had it all done since my car at least for me needs to be in good running order.When I arrived I signed up for their Meineke Credit/Membership so everything I had repaired & serviced will be easy to pay in payments with no interest, a great deal.Its hard to find genuine people who take pride in their profession nowadays, well its refreshing to know this Meineke has been family owned for over 30 years and trust when I say it shows. I will definitely be back for regular car service and anything else my car needs.

I go there because of one mechanic..Paul A is top notch. I think he is the shop foreman or something like that...he has never diagnosed any repair incorrectly and he always gives options on how to save money...he doesnt recommend bs repairs or services, instead he advised with options...I will go no where else again since the last time where 2 other shops did not identify the problem where Paul at meinikee found the issue with in 10 minutes,fixed it within two hours and charged me a fair price. The check in person was a deterrent at first but I tolerate her rude and nasty attitude cuz the service is worth it

Left side mirror was replaced. But they ordered wrong mirror, and still installed it without telling me. When I picked up the car I saw blind spot detection lamp on on the command board. I looked the mirror and saw it was wrong type with no blind spot detection lamp in it, but with a broken part of glass designed to detect side cars. Totally wrong type of mirror. Now the car had two different side mirrors, one original and the new wrong type! I spoke with the manager and he told me that they did not have other mirror and for them this is not an issue. We agreed to remove it and to refund the charge.

They tried to sell me rotors that I knew for a fact I did not need. Because I didnt buy their rotors,that I didnt need, they voided their warranty on the brakes.

Dishonest service. I asked for tire rotation with oil change package, both during online reservation and in person check in, was confirmed would be done. I was given a receipt with tire rotation service billed (discounted within the package). However, it was not done. Not until I called the shop and asked again if they confirmed the service was done, they stated that it was not (reason provided as tires were new, not necessary - however they actually were 40000 mile old). They agreed to do it when I brought the car back.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I brought my car in to be inspected and there ended up being something seriously wrong with my breaks. Not only did Mike do everything that he could to discount this sudden and unexpected expense, but he also gave me a free loaner car so that I wasn’t stuck sitting there. This is the only place I will be bringing my car from now on!

Mike the Service Manager came through like he always does and quickly found what was needed to repair the starting problem with my 2001 Toyota Camry and got right back to me by phone to explain what he found to be the problem. He told me what it would cost after applying all available discounts and until I pick the car up tomorrow I am enjoying the convenience of one of his free loaner cars. I plan to keep returning to Meineke of Shrewsbury for service even though it is further to drive to get there after moving to another city.

Great place to service you car. I had purchased tires for my jetta and the front end was making a rumbling sound. I purchased the tires online and the installer had to balance my tires twice. A friend recommended Meineke Shewsberry for alignment and they were reasonably priced. Turns out that the tires were not balanced properly, and needed an adjustment. Phil was great to deal with and fix everything. Ill be back and appreciate the honest service.

They tried to scare me into getting a $1,700 brake job. I was told I shouldn’t take my car home because of the breaks. I denied the service because I didnt have that amount of money; went to a local mechanic that checked out my brakes and while they needed repairs, I was only charged $300.

Meineke really came to the rescue for my sister and I this past holiday weekend. Our family had an unexpected family emergency and had to hit the road for an ten hour drive west.Thirty minuets into our trip we hear a loud band come from the front left tire side. I wet out to check the problem and found a nail in our Tacomas tire.Thankfully Shrewsbury was open and we made it in the nick of time. Phil, the owner stayed open to help us out, and all on a holiday weekend nonetheless.Meineke had a new tire to match the existing tire were on our way. It was friendly, and quick service, just what we needed.I am very grateful to have found this auto shop.

I needed my rear brake pads and rotors replaced because my Honda squealed everytime I backed up.The Manager was very personable and made every effort to give me the best price possible, during Covid-19.

They charged me $100 for an oil change. Needless to say I wont go there again and advised friends to avoid it and find another place to do it for the industry standard of $65.

Probably my best experience at a shop, ever. Walking in was like being greeted by an old friend. The service was incredible, and I can say that just being there was a pleasure. Phil takes the time to get to know your needs and he clearly takes pride in his profession and the cleanliness of the garage. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there speaking with Phil and the team. And, oh yeah! My brakes were replaced quickly and at a great price. While on a road trip back in late January, my family and I came into a situation with 1 of the cars. I noticed a loud clicking noise on my right rear I had a good idea it had to do with a possible bearing area issue based on owning cars over the last 25 years. I called a few service shops received a few ball-Park repair estimates. We were very fortunate to find a Meineke & compared to the other service shops in the area they showed to be thee best choice. I connected with Phil at Meineke in Shrewsbury, ( found through through Google) he cane across very professional and was clear on possible price situations. So got the car to Phill & after inspecting he quickly found out what the issue was and the repair was a lot cheaper than what I was expecting.Definitely worth mentioning,Meineke had a very easy to use website with specials that helped out with the price and they applied the coupon that day.Thanks again Meineke - Phil for the quick service and getting my car back to me the same day so we did not loose too much time off our road trip.

This was a right place to bring my car.I have a W body Grand Prix that is basically a family member. I knew I wanted an exhaust sound that had the low Rumble only American Muscle could bring, however did not want it to sound like Grave Digger making a 50 foot jump, while I was just getting eggs. Phil is a car guy and understood everything about what I was trying to do.He nailed it on the sound and look. Budget was important and he came under what I expected to pay. I will highly recommend Meineke to anyone whos looking for an affordable, high quality exhaust system.

Something about a $97 full synthetic oil change just kills me The oil is 20, filter is 7, round up to 30 for simplicitys sake. Thats $67 for 15 min of work.That comes out to 268$/hr. Now, Im all for people getting paid adequately for their work, and I understand owning and maintaining the lifts, tools etc cost a pretty penny.Appreciate the job guys, but I wont be coming back.

Extremely rude to me. Woman at desk attempted to up sell to me when I went in for an oil change. She told me I needed new front brakes, 3 new tires (which I know is untrue because I purchased 2 new tires less than 6 months ago), and new air filters. She was very persistent even though I old her I could not afford that all the same day. I was holding my 5 month old son in my arms and she actually stated “that’s real nice your going to let your son breathe through those filters” which might I add were not even bad. I was so embarrassed as there were other people behind me in line. I am a single parent and needed to go home and look at my financials before I just took on a 700-800 dollar fix on my car THAT I DONT EVEN BELIEVE I NEEDED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!! Just rude and WAY OVER priced!

Friendly staff. I was able to bring my car in immediately for a brake fluid flush and it was done very quickly. Waiting room is nice and there is WiFi.

They will tell you that all manner of unnecessary things are needed, and then overcharge you for them on top of it. For a simple brake job, they tried to tell me that $1,400 of work was necessary. When I questioned it, they claimed it was standard. I went somewhere else and it was under $500.

This place is a joke. Brought my car in at 1:00 PM on a Saturday and got a call at 3:00 to pick the car up as it was ready. Although I appreciate the speedy work the labor charge was through the roof. I was charged for 5 and a half hours of work for a total of 719.57 and that was labor alone. I was told there were two mechanics that worked on my car so each of them had to be paid labor...What a joke. I thought the bill was steep and the inflated prices they charge for parts are thru the roof. Sorry but one control arm does not cost 335.00 ( try half the price)..But I was in a hurry to get back to work and when I finally got a chance to look at the bill I was shocked. I called customer care..I called corporate and I talked to Carolyn at the shop and got no satisfaction. So I took my bill to my mechanic to have him take a look...he was astounded at the charges..he would have charged less than half of what they charged. So in all that Carolyn said she would call back and never got back to me regarding this bill..They have not heard the end of this by a long shot...

Phil and his staff do a great job! Needed a muffler repaired on an old Chevy Silverado that needed more work than I thought. They gave me a great price and got the work done within a few hours of me bringing it in. They also gave me a loaner car at no additional cost for the few hours I had to wait. Just the best place to get your car fixed or an oil change. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Got my car back the same day. Prices are very reasonable and they dont recommend everything like some other shops I have been to in the past. This is the place to go.

We have a 4WD RAV4, which recently decided to spring a leak in a rear differential :-(. I was lucky to notice a series of oil spots. We contacted Phil and his crew to get it fixed asap since it could have been going on for a while. Since the evening that I noticed the issue to the next day, the problem was taken care of!!!! Amazing turnaround especially since seals, differential fluid, CV joints and axles (rust causing the seals to fail) in the back all had to be replaced! While at it, the shop identified an issue in the front axles as well. I wasnt even aware of this issue. The differential was saved (would have been far more costly to fix) and after the front-end work, the car steering is stiffer and more responsive. Kudos to the team! Outstanding work. The price was right too! When I reinspected the job myself, the differential was perfectly cleaned of oil/debris and the replaced drive line parts looked spotless and in perfect order. Thank you!

Tried to scared me into getting a $1,000 break job. Told me I couldn’t take my car home because of the breaks. I called ICAR down the road and they quoted it for a few hundred less.

I highly recommend Meineke auto repair. I cant say enough good things about these this Shrewsbury shop. I was stranded and in search of a repair shop who wouldnt take advantage of someone who was desperate to get my truck repaired (breaks were almost gone 2005 dodge truck) and be back on the road. Phil completely took care of me. He knew my situation & could tell I was taken advantage of by other shops in the past. Meineke repaired my breaks immediately and quoted me a lower price than I had expected. My truck feels brand new. These mechanics will not disappoint. Thank you again for making a bad situation into a pleasant one.

BEWARE! Recently purchased a used car.I was QUOTED 1300$ TO REPLACE FRONT AND REAR BRAKES AND ROTORS. Replaced the rear brakes and rotors at the Shrewsbury shop. I took the car to an independent shop in PA to have front of the vehicle assessed and was told front brakes and rotors were in good shape and easily passed PA inspection.I will no longer trust this Meineke store for my service needs.

Told me a tie rod replacement would take 2 hours and charged me for that labor cost and then called me after 20 minutes saying the job was done. just rips people off. typical auto shop. not to mention the fact that the car they gave me to drive was covered in stains. there was not a single part of material that was not stained. absolutely disgusting. will not be getting any more of my business in the future.

I went here to get new brakes and they quoted me $600 less than another car care company. Mike, the guy who works at the front desk, is a really nice guy. Id definitely recommend taking your car here for any repair needs!
