I usually shop at Advance Auto since closer to my place, but I went to this store to rent a tool. The employees were knowledgeable and helpful, I got the tool I needed.You pay upfront for the tool you need and when you return it you get the full refund with no rental charges.!! This is an amazing incentive and service. In the future I will be doing all my auto parts shopping at this store.The store is neat and well stocked and the staff is professional. Keep up the good service.!

Just went to the store for my car battery replacement, JOSE the assistant manager showing what costumer should really get while they are in store. He is very professional 👏 and knows his job! He assisted me for everything i needed and while replacing the battery of my car he patiently explained step by step how to remove at put the new battery in order. Ive learned how to do it properly. We bought a new battery here, and they very kindly installed it for me. Within a week, the car wouldnt start. Since it *couldnt possibly* be the battery, we took the car into the shop to see if something else was wrong. The battery was bad. It was even visibly old and corroded. Took it to be returned and they had the gall to tell me it was new because it had a sticker on it that said so. Thankfully we got a refund, but someone here is obviously running a scam. Buy here at your own risk and make sure you visibly check parts before you let them install used junk.

Great local auto parts store. Staff is helpful, and all wore masks. The website has all kinds of specials, too.

Need windshield wipers. Sales clerk/cashier even put the wipers on without asking. I will be back for a heavy duty battery.

Needed a quick cheap truck battery so I could sell the vehicle. The counterman helped me quickly, got the correct battery, rang me up, and then graciously carried the heavy battery out to my car. When I returned with the old battery to collect the core charge, it was just as quick and pleasant. I highly recommend these fine people. And they all seem to be fluently bilingual, too!

I went to buy a Battery for my Ford Explorer tonight on my way home from work . I talk to a young man named Christian, he not only helped me check my battery to see if it was still good, but looked me up on computerto say that the battery was still under warranty, which I had no idea of . then picking out a replacement and also installing it for me. This is my go to place. Staff are great and will help you. Unfortunately some of the things they help customers with have stoped due to COVID-19 BUT that’s understandable.

I was in a total panic as the low oil message has appeared. Joshua helped diagnose the issue. Joshua provided stellar customer service, going above and beyond.. He sold me the oil that fixed the issue and I was safe to drive for the long distance. I cant thank enough!!!! and saving me from a dangerous situation.... what a blessing...

Doesnt have a full allotment but the essential are there. If you posses a high end vehicle and sort of like it, I would not buy OEM performance replacement of the shelf. Special order is different. It stands up to what the store is designed. Friendly staff. Reasonable price

Great service even with heavy customer volume. I had my battery tested and exchanged and never felt like I was anything but a priority for the service rep.

Prices are good especially if you order online you can get up to 20% off plus additional stuff. Order the stuff online then pick it up. Most of the time the staff is helpful but occasionally I get one that doesnt want to help at all.

Staff are helpful and the selection is great, but it can take forever to checkout. Its not uncommon to have to wait in line 5-15 minutes. Free check-engine light checks are a plus. Lots of parking in the parking lot and easy to get to off of Georgia Ave.

Highly recommend installing any car battery purchase yourself. The AutoZone employee who installed mine failed to properly connect the negative terminal resulting in intermittent starting issues due to a poor connection. This resulted in wasted trouble shooting because one should reasonably assume an AutoZone employee knows how to use a wrench.

I called the store before calling the towing truck just to make sure they could change the battery for me. I explained the whole situation and they said I could go there and have the battery replaced right away. So the towing truck comes, takes my car to AutoZone, I go inside to get the battery and they tell me they dont have the one for my vehicle and they have to order it. Now, I called before going; I didnt just show up!! Seriously??????Luckily Advance Auto Parts was nearby and they were able to help me out.

Staff is great and clearly work hard and know what they are doing. Only reason I cant do 5 stars is that during busier times they dont have enough staff to make the wait reasonable. I stood in last be for 20 minutes once and have seen similar lines on several occasions.

I had really good luck with these guys and parts for my 98 Dodge. Being old, its gets a lot of my attention with repairs and trying to stay ahead of mother time. Friendly staff and well stocked.

I’m in autozone now. I’ve been standing here over 20 min. The staff is walking around like they don’t see anyone. I approached a worker outside. I have seen 4 people so far and everyone is avoiding work. Leaving.

Took 4 people to understand English. Spent 30 minutes picking up a part that was already on the counter.

They don’t know how to serve customer plus they are selective in serving customer. I went to buy wheel cover, but the sales associate named (Jose S) was kept his eyes on his phone;he didn’t gave attention for me. He told me to bring some information about the tire size, and I showed him the picture of the tire information, but he was reluctant to help me out. I drove like 10 miles to the store, and went back without getting what I was looking for. Disgusting customer service ever I had; the employee doesn’t even look happy to work there.

I needed a motorcycle battery, so I call and as I am describing the vehicle...the attendant says Hold On.. I am on hold right now as I am writing this review.And yes it has been over 20 minutes!Poor (communication, professionalism, customer service)

I was in last Saturday to have my GMC battery tested and replaced by Stephen who was extremely helpful.

Anything related to autos......parts....cleaning supplies....oils.....polishes....soap.....air freshners etc...if they dont have it on site..they can order it and usually have it by next day for pickup....also will come out your car and run computerized tests....and show you how to do certain things...always helpful...

I have been using this autozone all my life, ever since I was young and went with my father and soon Ill be going there for myself. People there have always been available and willing to go outside to check out your car to see whats wrong and help look for options in your budget.

Very helpful diagnostic test. But wanted to purchase a gas cap with key. Computer says in stock but, sales person was unable to locate merchandise.

0 stars if possible. Always wait in line way to long here. Staff sucks, very slow and rude. Not knowledgeable either... Worst parts store I have ever been to. Will never go again, especially since Advanced Auto parts is in the same shopping center. Just go to Advanced Auto dont waste your time here

I only go bg here when i cant find something I need elsewhere. Staff not assigned directly to the parts counter will often stand around and watch customers in line without offering to help. Staff argue amongst each other about laziness and why they wont help (in front of customers). Lines are long and slow. I have seen a lot of customer, including myself, leave after extended waits because, what we are seeing from employees (activity wise) seems unreasonable.

The sale associates was very polite and knowledgeable.

AutoZone off Georgia Ave in Silver Spring???TrashSo I needed new windshield wipers. Im winterizing my car, so I figure I can hop over to get some wipers really quick. I forgot what size I needed, but no problem because all of the AutoZone places Ive been to usually help me out.I walk in....no greeting.....cool. I dont really care about being greeted no way, plus Im only in there for a minute to grab these windshield wipers. So I head straight to the wipers..... theres no book to show me what wipers I need. So im sitting here like dang, what wiper sizes I need. Meanwhile in the background theres all types of music blasting with cuss words going off. That dont really bother me because hey....I listen to hip-hop.... thats fine. So still just waiting for someone to help me...... no one came.So I eventually just look on my phone. This the new age of technology right? So i find out the size wind shield I need but I still wasnt sure. So Im about to buy the wipers and I ask if they can make sure I have the right ones. The cashier says no problem....turns out I have the correct ones. She asked if Im an AutoZone member.....nope Im not.....crickets...... ummmm are you going to tell me what thats about? Can I save money on something?Nope .... all i got was the total. Normally I dont care about all this stuff. I got what I needed and I was gone. However the last AutoZone I went to they treated me like I was an A-list celebrity. So im mainly writing this so that maybe they can be like their other store counter parts. Maybe itll help. Maybe not.Moral of the story....if you need just a quick part and no what you looking for. Go here. If youre looking for help and not sure what youre looking for..... either demand service or go somewhere else.

The most amazing experience I have ever had at a auto parts store.The battery of my Ford Escape, which I had bought at this store a couple of years back failed, and I went there for the replacement.A Crew member named Jason assisted me at the desk, and immediately I asked if one of the on-the-go mechanics was around to install the battery (I had to pay for the installation out of pocket because the battery is very complicated to remove) and Jason said he was going to take a look a the battery.We went to my car, and my expectation was that he would say it was too complicated, but to my surprise, he said he was going to replace the battery himself.As he started working on my car, it started to rain, and the only help I could offer was to hold an umbrella, but soon the rain increased to torrential rain, and Jason kept at it, as a pond formed on parking lot as a result of the heavy rain.His work ethic and determination impressed me greatly. This guy went above and beyond his duty to take care of my car problem, and I am truly grateful for that.Ill be coming back to this store for all my car needs from now on.

Dont waste your time calling them. Worst customer service over the phone. I ask to see if they have a certain part in their inventory and the guy just says Ill look for it hold on. And puts me on hold. Doesnt even ask for what car its for or nothing. Its happened more then once already.

Walked in for a simple purchase. Turned right around and went next door to the Advance Auto. 10-12 people waiting to be checked out, and confusion and frustration was obvious. I dont understand why people would put up with this with another auto parts store a few stores away - literally 2 min walk. First impressions matter - will now always start at Advance Auto as preferred auto parts store
