Recently bought a mattress from these guys. Salesman was funny personable and professional. If I had had the money for a really expensive bed he could have sold me anything and then building. With high quality products and an excellent delivery radius I highly recommend anyone of The mattress firm locations. But personally I will be returning to the south Portland one.

Very positive in store experience, the deal we were able to secure on our mattress is what I was hoping for by visiting in person. All was delivered on the expected date (although one hour earlier than predicted time frame, but fortunately we were home so worked out nice). We got a returned model from the warehouse and it was in perfect condition, sleeping on the new mattress our second week now and were super happy all around. Def. recommend going in store to try out different models, I didnt end up with the one I thought I would!

I didn’t know that there was mattress guru’s out there. I used to think my couch and bed were the same thing. Highly recommend the south portland store, Bryan helped me and educated me on what was best for my back issues. Super knowledgeable and friendly. Nice to see customer service is still valued today. Didn’t know it was possible to sleep through a whole night without waking up at least once.

Bryan Rosa was honest, helpful and fair. He helped me to find just the model I was looking for, and helped to bring it down into my price range. I didn’t feel rushed, and do feel that the experience is one I would recommend to friends and family.

Bryan did a great job of showing us what there was to choose from and listening to what we wanted. He provided us options and didn’t “sell” us anything but instead showed us what was available to buy. We spent probably an hour or two in the store trying things out and he was as patient and excited about our 10th mattress as our first.

Me and my husband needed a good bed because we were tired of having back pain every day and not sleeping good. So we decided to get a new bed but we didnt no where to go to get one . So we looked on line a found Mattress Firm and it sounded good so we went there. Not knowing what we needed there was a nice guy that worked there named Bryan Rosa that greeted us a very nice and polite man and asked us about how much would we like to spend on a bed And what we are looking for and he let us try out some till we found the right one and he even gave us a good deal delivery included.So if you need a bed I recomend Mattress Firm They are the best.

Having purchased a mattress and Woven Rayon from Bamboo bedding set in Nov I have found the pillow cases extremely slick and that they winkle so bad when washed (followed directions) that one of them has become unusable. He had us try several mattresses and explained the differences with each (individual coils, levels of firmness, cost, ect) and expected delivery dates. He explained the current sales promotion and had us try the adjustable bedframe. He never pressured or rushed us and we appreciated his willingness and thoroughness in answering our questions.

We purchased two Queen size mattresses recently and spent about an hour narrowing down our choices. Stewart was extremely patient and knowledgeable about all the mattresses we tested. 2 years ago we purchased a queen size mattress and box springs from so. portland. Salesman was great. Delivery was great. We were happy with the financing.Well now the mattress is lumpy, no support, literally falling apart. I have never paid $1000.00 for a bed and have it only last 2 years. Now we have to go out and buy a new mattress. We are not happy.

My husband and I went shopping for a mattress tonight with our rambunctious 6 year old. Sam was our customer rep, he is typically in augusta so we are blessed he was in our SoPo store tonight. He was patient with our son, interacted nicely with him. He spent over 1.5 hrs with us going over all the beds and what to expect. Answered all our questions and then some. My husband is former military and he gave us an unbelievable deal. The customer service alone was worth every penny. Amazing experience!!!

Go see Mike Manganaro!Theres a million different mattresses out there and he was awesome in narrowing it down for me.He doesnt try to sell you the most expensive one, just the one that works for you. In fact there was a mattress that costs $300 more than the one I bought and he just advised me to the less expensive bed with 90% of the same benefits.

**Updated to 4 stars after the Maine Area Manager went above and beyond to make things right**Buyer beware! Terrible experience from beginning to end. Our salesman was bragging to us about the $14K bed he sold earlier that day, and was complaining about the lack of commission working with us since we were picking a bed to replace our broken Serta via warranty claim. He was very disorganized, and clearly did not care about our experience since he was not going to make a big commission. The delivery date was incorrect 2 separate times prior to finally getting it right on the 3rd try... Then, they sent us the wrong mattress and refused to exchange it, because it was a warranty claim and not a new purchase. Spend your money elsewhere, you will be glad you did.

We purchased our beauty rest recharge mattress from Richard a few months ago. He was very knowledgeable with all the beds in the store. We went in and he asked us what we were looking in a bed. He listened to our needs and narrowed it down to 2 beds. Both beds were very similar but ended up agreeing on the beauty rest recharge. A major factor was also our price range. We were honest about our price range and he did a great job narrowing it down for us. We were able to buy the bed that day! What a good feeling. Richard also does a great job at being patient and not pushy like most mattress stores. Richard also takes the time to work with you. We found that most mattress stores we went to tended to just let you lay on the beds... no explanation about the perks of the beds ..basecially just let me know when you find one you think you like. Not the experience at Mattress Firm.Also Mike who was working with Richard that day was great! He was able to assist Richard in the end process with regards to the mattress protector and pillows. He also is not pushy and patient. He is very personable.Richard and Mike are what makes Mattress Firm in South Portland run. These two are very valuable staff to have. We also referred our parents there and they ended up buying a tempur pedic bed. What a great sale for those guys.We highly recommend Mattress Firm, for formerly Sleepys. These guys are the best of the best and you WILL get what you are looking for. There guys are awesome !
