I haven’t bought a vehicle in 8 years and nothing about vehicle shopping brings me joy. However my experience from start to finish with this dealership was an absolute pleasure! I sent a quick email stating which vehicle I liked on the lot, how much I wanted to put down, what trade I had, and which bank I wanted to finance through. My email was read promptly and directed to Hannah. She was easy to work with, friendly, and didn’t use any scare tactics or bait/switch tactics that I’ve seen so many times in the past. She got me the best available Sentra with only 4000 miles, made notes of all my needs and met them. She even got a heated seat thrown in for my drivers side as a courtesy because I like heated seats and the Sentra with the lowest miles didn’t have them. She was kind and polite and able to appropriately “read the room” and stepped back a couple times for my boyfriend and I to talk. The finance manager was also very nice and the easiest finance manager I’ve ever worked with. Furthermore I had a huge mix up with my trade in and everyone at the dealership was able to navigate that no problem. Some general feedback about the dealership - it’s CLEAN, the showroom is bright and inviting, and the waiting area is very nice. I love my purchase and would recommend Hannah and this dealership to anyone. They do very good business! My credit is not the best and they still made me feel like a VIP customer, which I appreciated. Thank you Berlin City Nissan!

I worked with Andrew Mason and he was the best! Ive been looking around and visiting multiple dealerships for the past 3 months looking for a car and working with sales associates. I needed a car and I needed one fast, nothing like having to look for a car is fun at any point. I decided to go to Berlin City Nissan to find a car. I was in search of a Sentra and sure enough they had the style and year I was looking for. Before buying the car I had to rent a car as I was carless, Aleks at the rental side of Nissan helped me and put me in a great car as I was looking for one to buy. I opened the doors to Berlin Nissan and the atmosphere was great friendly service throughout my whole visit, Andrew Morrison helped me find my first car. He truly went above and beyond with caring and hearing my needs, Chris Genesse helped me as well. When signing for my first car Thomas helped me to understand each and every paper I had to sign before signing. They all went above and beyond and they truly care about there customers.

Bought my car here in february and have brought it in for oil change/tire rotation twice now. Service ppl are always incredibly pleasant and seem happy to be there. It may be a longer drive to get there but the peace of mind and customer service keep me going back.

After searching the web for a vehicle and hitting deadends, I decided to just go look at Berlin City Nissan. Andrew Mason came over and asked how I was in such a welcoming way! He seemed personally invested in the vehicle that fit my needs, then later used what I said to fill in gaps while waiting for the managers. I immediately trusted him and look forward to seeing him in the community or when I need a new car again...keep in touch I will follow! Andrew Mason went above and beyond my expectations which is why its a 4 star instead of a 2 star., the dealership as a whole should step up and follow his lead. Other sales people were not welcoming and it felt like a cold environment. Manager Andrew was transactional and cocky, not needed in the customer service industry. My transaction completed nextdoor at the Honda dealership then they had me walk next door to see Andrew the manager, and he said yeah you can have a seat. You need a better sales manager that values customers while treating them like people not transactions.. The deal was signed, you had a dozen workers doing nothing yet noone could have come out and brought the car over and taken a picture. You have a lot of staff to have so much down time. Andrew Mason is a breath of fresh air for Portland,I just hope you realize it!

We drove to Berlin City Nissan from southern NH to look at a CPO Murano. Hannah had the car a ready to go for a test drive. She was very informative and and pleasant to deal with. Overall we had an amazing experience, especially since we did not at other dealers. Financing went smoothly and we drove home with our new car. Berlin City has a wonderful team.

Our HORRIBLE experience with Berlin City Nissan and Nissan Corporation.In 4-2020 the lease for my Rogue was due and I was interested in getting into a new lease. This was at the beginning of the pandemic and the way business was being conducted changed. All in all, I was not informed of Berlin City’s return policy. I told Chris (the manager of Berlin City) that I wanted out of this lease and all he offered was to install a remote starter, a bed liner and a trailer hitch (which they messed up on and I had to install the lights connection) and all he could do was apologize and say we could have brought the truck back to have the trailer hitch corrected all the while thinking I was satisfied. Also, Chris told Robin (the other half of our) that the return policy was in the paperwork that we received and both she and I went through it and we could find no such thing. (Side note as to credibility, Robin worked for a law firm and paperwork was her specialty.) I requested that all correspondence between Chris and I be through email or text as to hold one accountable for what they say and what does he do??? CALL ME!!!! Ludicrous!!! Upon the realization that Chris was not going to be upstanding, I tried to contact Nissan and after all the runaround with them, they redirected me back to Chris; it’s almost like dealing with the government!!!! After all this, there were also unanswered texts and emails. Here it is over a year later and the only thing Chris can offer is a threatening email to Robin, nonetheless, that if we proceed with this he will get his lawyers involved. We have all correspondence to prove our word. All in all, I would not recommend Berlin city or Nissan as the dealings with both have been nothing but a HUGE FRUSTRATION!!!!! I would put - (minus) stars if it were possible

My appointment was at 1:45 for an oil change. At 4pm they brought out my car. Apparently there was a recall. First of all an oil change take 1/2 to 45 minutes. If there was a recall I should have been aware before work was preformed. I will not be bringing my vechile back. Although the oil change is free and part if the purchase. My time has value. If you cant let me know whats going on before working on my vechile, I wont be back. Not the first time it hasnt taken 2 hours for an oil change.

For a recall, which didnt make us happy. Had our 5k mile service done after purchasing the car and the almost 3K bumper to bumper 100k coverage didnt expect to be pushed to purchase another service contract for oil changes. Will rethink buying Nissan again

I originally went to Nissan Saco because my vehicle had a bad solenoid. The mechanic there told me that if that were the case, theyd have to replace all three solenoids, priced at $100 each, because theres no way to figure out which one is bad. They also couldnt get me in for two weeks.Called up Berlin City. They got me in next day, and it turns out there absolutely is a way to test the solenoids. They saved me $200 and had me back on the road quickly. The guy there suggested that Saco may not have a high enough level technician to test the solenoids. I have my doubts. In any event I dont believe the customer should have to pay a premium for Sacos lack of knowledge or ability. Im going here from now

I made my appointment on-line with your chatbot. We have a similar system here at the company I work for. As you know, if it works, then cool. In my case the appointment confirmation that I received, did not make it to your scheduler. The gentleman that waited on me Monday was super accommodating and did get me in. Technology is wonderful, but human interaction is far superior.

Hannah and Company were pleasant and helpful throughout the buying experience,A few months later when I needed copies of some paperwork I spoke with Hannah, she said she would get back to me, she did not. I called again, left a message, again no response.I left a message for the finance manager, no callback from him either.I guess when the sale is done Berlin City doesn’t bother to be helpful any more. Think before you sign with them, feels like they are a bunch of smiling phonies .

I was looking for a very specific used car and yes, Eric Burnheimer was a good salesman and easy to work with, but I couldnt have had better experience than working with Chris Genest, General Sales Manager. He was open and honest, and after the sale he took care of everything that needed to be done. He made it easy...when we couldnt connect on the phone we communicated by text message and he went out of his way to make everything right, including issues that really werent the dealerships to resolve but he took care of it. I wont hesitate to go back and buy another car from Chris.

Went in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. My tires were full of mud and rocks and originally they told me it would be roughly $30 to clean but because it didn’t take long to clean, they didn’t charge me at all! Great surprise! Thank you! Very nice staff too.

When you have an issue you will never get a response from them. I have given them a week to get back to me after both calling and leaving a message and emailing them directly. Ive had a number of issue with the car I purchased from them but this review will be how I was treated last month. I was charged for a battery service and two days later my battery died leaving me stranded on the side of the road. I wanted a refund since the battery was obviously dead and they did nothing with it although I was charged for it.

Quoted $723.48 for one rear abs sensor. This part is anywhere from $50 (Walmart) to $200. Goes to show how this place screws people over. Changing out an abs sensor consists of simply removing the wheel, ONE 10mm bolt and unplugging it from a simple electrical connection.That price is a direct reflection of your immoral service and price.Don’t be fooled into giving this place your money 🖕🏻

Astonishing incompetence. My 2013 Rogue needed a new low beam, and an employee at Autozone recommended taking the car to Nissan since the bulb is hard to access. When I arrived for my 7:30 appointment, I was told the technician would not arrive until 8:00. Not a great start, but I suppose I can wait for a little while. At 8:50, the employee at the desk came to tell me that THEY HADNT CHANGED THE BULB. An hour and 20 minutes later, and they sent me off without doing the one simple thing I came in to have done. On the wall in the waiting room, there was a poster with the Nissan Customer Promise, where the first point is we will respect your time. Clearly this isnt very important to them. I would only begin to consider bringing my car back here if they offered to do the service for free--and actually did the service! Extremely frustrating.

I think we all know buying a car seems daunting, but I would definitely recommend Berlin City Nissan. I was far from an easy customer, but Eric, Chris & Tom stayed 3.5 hours AFTER THEY CLOSED on Saturday, which by the way was a holiday weekend. They fought hard to get my into the car I fell in love with and answered all of my questions and my fiancé’s questions (he always has a lot). They treated us like VIP. I’ll definitely be back when this lease is up, for my new car! Thank you all so so so much! I LOVE my new car!

Worst experience ever! Dont go here if you are just searching for a trustful, Nissan Certificate service.They almost kicked me out with my car leaking CVT oil result in forced to stop in the middle of the way and I was forced to towed my car over 100 miles back to home.I had my car service at other dealer in the morning and drive up to Portland for vacation. My car was leaking CVT oil badly so towed my car to here with the help of the dealer which did the service in the morning, since they are Nissan Certificate dealer. They checked the car and told me theres no leakage, no problem to drive, it was just because of the fault of the other dealer. They charged the other dealer over $300 for just fill up the oil. I trusted them and start to drive back again, however, as soon as start driving, again, it starts to leak. I bring back the car, it was bit awkward, I was forced to wait over 1.5h, and when I asked again, they found the problem and said they cant fix it until the long weekend ends. They told me to purchase CVT fluid oil bottles and bring it with me, and filled it by stopping by to some garage, so advised to get on the road. I asked the oil level, they said they didnt check it. I asked how to check the oil level, he said I dont do it myself so I dont know. They just kicked me out to be out of the trouble.My car didnt run even what they expected, theres no garage opened to fill the oil, and the oil seemed not enough to get back to CT. I forced to towed my car over 100 miles, which costs me a lot.I get that sometimes people makes mistakes, but what they did after they realized the problem was forgivable.Be careful.

This was my first visit to Berlin City Nissan and Brian was great! He explained everything to me and offered me a prepaid maintenance package which will save me $140 over three oil changes. The service was completed in less time than he told me and the check in and check out process was very quick. Definitely will be bringing my Kicks back again!

NOT CONVINCED THAT THE 2 TIE ROD ENDS THEY SAID WERE BAD ACTUALLY WERE. THEY WOULDNT LET ME SEE THE TIE RODS AFTER AND THE VIDEO SEND TO ME SHOWED NOTHING BUT THEM TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL AND THE RODS WERE DOING WHAT THEY SHOULD. THE CAR NEEDED TO BE ON THE GROUND WITH EITHER ONE OR BOTH WHEELS TO TEST PROPERLY. THINGS WERE SLOW AND IT WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTEE EXCEPT THE $100 DEDUCTABLE. THE INSPECTIONS WILL BE DONE ELSEWHERE FROM NOW ON. I HAVE BEEN A MECHAANIC FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND MY SON IS A CERTIFIED TOYOTA MECHANIC FOR YEARS, WE ARE VERY FAMILIAR WITH CAR AND TRUCK TESTING AND REPAIR. THIS IS MY 4TH NISSAN BUT THE FIRST ONE THATS EVER NEEDED TIE RODS AND IT ONLY HAD 43K ON IT.

Brought my car in for oil change, tire rotation and 15K mile maintenance. I was greeted right away by the service rep. He explained what work would be done and the estimated time it would take. He also explained the charges for the service. He was very thorough and accommodating. The work was completed within the estimated time. The service rep. again went over what was done and the charges. On a scale of 1 to 10, this was above a 10.

This place will do a diagnosis of your vehicle presented in an impressive, professional manner cutting and pasting pictures out of their manual to magnify the severity of a problem you may have with your vehicle. Brought my daughters SUV in for a flat tire that was supposed to be covered. After sitting around for an hour and a half and having to track down the service guy I was told that the tire was not covered. < Pulse rate on the rise > Asked WHY no one came and said anything until we searched them down, really no good reason was given. I then asked them to put the new tires on and I would pay for them. I asked how long it would take? Was told another hour or so. After 5 customers came and gone still waiting. *** UPDATE ****** I have to say, Im going to eat crow on this. Im very thankful for the customer service I just received from Berlin City in South Portland. It was not the cost of the tires but the amount of time that was spent waiting and the fact that i had to track down someone for information on what was going on and why there was such a delay on getting my tires changed. Had i been given updates on what was happening, i would have been more understanding and had more patience.They have proven that they are in my opinion a 5 star dealership. Thank you Berlin City for being many steps ahead of most dealerships.

Berlin City is the place to go for Nissan leases. Eric Burnheimer is not only an excellent and knowledgeable salesman, but a really decent person, besides. We worked with both of the managers, Tom and Chris, who both showed extraordinary levels of kindness and patience in answering all of our questions about the leasing process, and did everything they possibly could to make us understand and feel comfortable with our decision. Our finance guy (sorry--forgot his name!) likes The Office--enough said! All around, a really great experience with a really great group of people.

I was greeted right away and had the entire service explained to me. There were a couple of additional items needed but this did not add to the time that I was prepared to wait.My car was parked right outside of the door and I was on my way! No additional cost or hidden fees and a free car wash good for a year! Great service and pleasant atmosphere! Thank you!

I was told that Berlin City will not take care of any future problems that may exist with my Nissan Murano that I spent 19,000.00 on. That the warranty wont cover. Ive had to bring this car to Berlin City for problems six times within seven months. This purchase has been nothing but a nightmare from day one on the purchase day and a slow leak in a tire. Then a broken spedometer then a faulty air intake and few other problems that should NEVER exist when buying a used vehicle.

Nissan told me what’s going on with one of my tires that had a very slow leak and that it was not fixable. The other repair shops really just said nothing is wrong. Nothing wrong? There is a leak and I wanted to know why!
